Skullgirls vs Undertale
Housing a host for your body is nothin' easy, and it's quite personal. These two, though, take it to a parasitic level! Can Filia snip through Frisk like a barber, or will Filia become another Lost Soul?
Introduction[]
Que: Death Battle - Wiz and Boomstick
ROB: When something terrible happens, you never expect to lose your memory or just entire hope, and be possessed by an evil parasite or spirit.
Game and Watch: But these two follow that exact thing! Filia, Samson's forgetful schoolgirl host.
ROB: And Frisk, the hopeless but very much determined child, and a host to Chara.
Game and Watch: We'll be researching their weapons, armor, and skills, to find out who would win a Death Battle.

Que: Skullgirls - Where Money Flows Like Water
ROB: Hair is, well, hairy. Obviously, hair is usually got some weird thing about it in fiction whether it be Goku's transforming, Midna's shapeshifting hair, Medusa's snakes, Cinderella's magic hair, or even Millia Rage who contr-
Game and Watch: Okay, be quiet. As he was going to say, Filia, from Skullgirls, the schoolgirl holding Samson, a cool parasite possessing her hair.
ROB: Well, let's talk about Samson for a moment before we focus on Filia. Whilst being nasty and brash to people, he's protective. Very protective, to a point that he not only defends Filia from flirting, and this is a good thing, it seems.
Game and Watch: Well, yeah. Unlike a quote Leviathan states to Samson that he killed one of his hosts, he saved Filia to an extent, as he possessed her as she took a gunshot, nearly dying. But, do keep in mind he could only do this when his previous host was killed.
ROB: But let's discuss Filia now. Filia is, well, a regular person, obviously. But, you know, with a dog originally housing Samson, named, well, Dog.
Game and Watch: Sounds similar.
ROB: Well, Painwheel actually gave her this dog, which Filia agreed to adopting, and do keep in mind all of this was before the newest Skullgirl started. He did pledge to keep Filia safe and protect her, which stayed true when she got her house broken in by Marie, the Skullgirl, and even shot!
Game and Watch: She actually saw her parents killed, was shot, and Samson's host, Dog, was killed. Poor thing. Anyways, Samson possesses Filia, which gives her amnesia causing her to lose all of her memories. Afterwards, while hiding from the Medicis, supposedly, where she then goes on a quest to get the skull heart.
ROB: As for feats, we know Filia can scale to characters like Peacock, as seen in this image. This would mean she's likely Hypersonic! She even scales to Squiggly who can move at the speed of sound.
Game and Watch: And for her durability, she can tank hits from Leviathan's fire, which burns at 2.2 million degrees! This same fire also attacks the soul. She can even fight Marie who's strong enough to tear down towers and skyscrapers, throwing them across entire towns!
ROB: But that's not all. Samson himself can block attacks and is seemingly immune to being cut, obviously the only true damage being anything way above his power or if Filia was to die.
Game and Watch: But, that's Filia's primary thing. While she does have a bit of combat experience, corruption and other abilities can still harm her. She's truly just a 14 year old who's insanely strong and owns a parasite, but that's it.
ROB: But let's discuss her truly large moveset. Other than Samson's wide array of transformations, such as knives, combs, saws, teeth, tentacles, legs, a large spider, you name it. But as we said, he has a large durability, being impervious to fire that reaches two million degrees, but is incapable of being snipped or cut.
Game and Watch: She has Ringlet Spike, a special where she drops to the ground and creates a dangerous spike, Updo, where Samson chomps anyone upwards as Filia hops up, Hairball, where she rolls as she gets covered in spikes, or Born With It, where, well, she flips Samson to deal damage.
ROB: Then there's her Blockbusters like Gregor Samson where Samson turns into a cockroach and blitzes their opponent, Fenrir Drive, very similar to Updo where Samson bites the foe, sending them downwards, or her Level 3 Blockbuster, Tricobenzer.
Game and Watch: In this, Samson becomes monstrous, firing a large hairball. But yeah, Filia is just a 14 year old, is restrained, yada yada.
Filia: Let's go, Samson!
Samson: Hell yeah!
Frisk[]
Que: Undertale - Once Upon a Time
ROB: Long ago, two races ruled over the world, monsters, and humans. A war broke out, humans won, you've heard the story too many times. Obviously, as legends all say, the main character climbs the mountain and falls in, never to be seen again.
Game and Watch: The end! But is it? Obviously, no. The main character, usually depicted nameless but called Frisk, as they meet a murderous flower who tries to kill them and explains what a soul is, a concept of your being.
ROB: Then, if you've played Undertale, Frisk either kills everything, spares everything, or is just... neutral about it. Obviously, after the flower is knocked away by a goat named Toriel, this is when the story begins.
Game and Watch: Or in other words, shit gets real.
ROB: After entering the ruins, they have to defend themselves, go through traps, etc. But, they have one challenge, that's very... difficult.
Game and Watch: A dumb ghost.
ROB: Actually, that's Napstablook, a depressed ghost living in the Ruins.
Game and Watch: Well, yeah. After nearly killing a Frisk, who we'd assume barely leveled up, nearly dies. Well, it's likely. Then, they attack the ghost, although not harming it, and begins forward.
ROB: They fight more monsters and even the caretaker, being Toriel, successfully killing each and all of them, and meets a pair of skeletons.
Papyrus: They fought I! The great Papy-
Game and Watch: Shut up.
Papyrus: Then the slippery snail even got through my puzzles, but they could not defeat me, NYEH, HEH, H-
Papyrus' head immediately pops off, as Game and Watch smashes his chest with the Judge attack.
Game and Watch: There. God, he was annoying. Anyways, he dies, his head pops off, you heard the story millions of times.
ROB: Now that they're done, let's discuss about Frisk's actual items and abilities, assuming we've now finished the game.
Game and Watch: They can use Draw to create life to a drawing, use Flex to boost their attack, although only usable thrice, Heat Up to, well, heat up to an immense degree, Cool Down to reverse the effects of Heat Up, Sing, to put their opponents to sleep, or Stare which, when used twice, incapacitates the opponent instantly.
ROB: They have the Bandage, an armorpiece that heals Frisk by 10 HP, the Toy Knife, to boost their attack by +3, the Faded Ribbon, which manipulates the empathy of anyone that sees Frisk, which causes them to attack weaker, and boosts Frisk's defense by +5.
Game and Watch: This could even amplify their feat of tanking the explosion of a very hot oven, like, a really hot oven, and they can even amp their speed with Sea Tea. Not only that, but they also have the Tough Glove, which allows Frisk to punch multiple times at once, the Manly Bandana, which boosts Frisk's defense by +7. They even have the Ballet Shoes which act similarly to the Tough Glove, but far better, being stronger, and the Old TuTu which gives a whopping 10+ defense.
ROB: They also have the Torn Notebook which, while only giving +2 damage, gives a large time of staying invincible after hit, and the Cloudy Glasses which give half the defense of the Old TuTu but give a whopping +9 frames of invincibility. They have the Burnt Pan which makes HP items give +4 more HP, and does +10 damage. They also have the Stained Apron which gives +11 defense and a small regeneration every second
Game and Watch: Well... There's the Empty Gun which fires, well, supposed determination, as it has no bullets, and grants a whopping +12 attack! They also have the Cowboy Hat which amplifies damage by +5 and +12 defense. There's also the Worn Dagger which deals +15 attack, with it being one of the top weapons, and the Heart Locket which gives a +15 defense!
ROB: There's also the "Temy Armor", one of the best things in the game, giving the same regeneration as the Stained Apron, has nearly the same effect as the Cloudy Glasses, and has +20 defense. They also have Dog Residue-
Game and Watch: Dog WHAT?
ROB: Dog Residue, or Dog Salad, heal a random number of 2, 5, 10, 30, or just all their HP. They also have various healing items that can boost attack, heal varying amounts, and many other things. To the point that Frisk has so many you could consider them having a very strong stomach, eating dog crap and snow and such.
Game and Watch: That's just a reason why I hate kids in RPGs. Screw you, Ness and Lucas.

ROB: The fighters are set, let's end this debate once and for all.
Game and Watch: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!
Pre-Fight[]
Que: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl - Route 209
A landscape was shown, birds chirping, as a mountain shook. A gleam of white light eroded from it, before it disappeared immediately, a child stepping out. As it did, a king, specifically with the head of a goat and many others began to walk out as well, before it would cut to a high schooler of the name Filia, who was climbing, before they looked over, as a tree was thrown down.
Dodging this, they noticed a dummy, specifically an angered one, who was mad due to his job as a punching bag, as Filia immediately sidestepped from the crash. As this happened, Filia's hair grew, the hat she was wearing tore in half as this parasite known as Samson grabbed the dummy, throwing it into the air, as they jumped up.
`` BRING IT ON! `` An angered Samson spoke, as he always had, as Filia hopped upwards, allowing Samson to become spider-like, and slamming the dummy into the ground. As Filia landed, they became a spiked ball, rushing the dummy, and tearing it into pieces, knocking it into Frisk, who wanted to check out what the ruckus was about.
Frisk was surprisingly angered that Filia attacked a monster that they had previously just saved, as Filia stepped backwards out of the roll. Frisk would get into a fighting stance, withdrawing a pocketed knife, as the music warped, and changed. `` Here we come! `` Filia spoke, as Frisk dashed over, as Filia still stood.
FIGHT![]
Que: Sonic and the Black Knight - Knight of the Wind
Filia blocked the predictable attack from Frisk, as Samson became a fist, knocking Frisk back who blocked with the now-broken knife. With this, Frisk was knocked upwards by Filia, blitzing them, as Filia then kicked them into the mountain, causing a large crater to be created.
Frisk picked themselves up, as they block an oncoming onslaught by Samson, who becomes a pair of scissors, and then becoming multiple fists, barraging the blocking Frisk. Frisk directly counters Samson's last hit, a bite, by hitting him away with a pan, jumping back.
Frisk then proceeds to roll under Filia's feet, slamming the Byurnt Pan into her knee, causing Filia to be knocked down, with her then spinning the pan and jumping upwards, attempting to cause serious damage to Filia's face.
Filia would block, with Samson charging forward and grabbing Frisk, wrapping around them with octopus arms, throwing them upwards. Frisk would peel off a bandaid, healing them, before putting on a Cowboy Hat and withdrawing a revolver,
This caused Samson to quickly become a pair of legs, amplifying Filia's running speed who charging right into Frisk, crashing right through a bullet of light Frisk had fired. This caused Filia to immediately punch Frisk in the face, with Samson quickly becoming a larger fist, hitting the child upwards.
Samson then threw Filia up, who would understand the plan in seconds, with Frisk then quickly putting on a suit of Temy Armor. Frisk blocked the quick chomp from Samson with a Worn Dagger, attempting to cut Samson, which failed. Frisk shook their head, as Samson grabbed Frisk and threw them downwards.
Frisk, as they fell, withdrew a pair of ballet shoes, and ran upwards, blitzing Filia as they kicked Filia multiple times, ending it with a downwards thrust, and knocking her into a crater, shaking the entire mountain. As this happened, rocks began to rumble, as Frisk continued kicking Filia, who attempted to block, but failed as she was thrown upwards.
`` SAMSON! `` Filia spoke, her hair becoming a large afro, stopping Frisk's attempted final attack using the same Worn Dagger, with Filia jumping upwards once again, noticing a large boulder tumbling down, as she quickly landed, grabbing Frisk, and throwing the child into the ground.
Frisk was then buried into the ground, Samson laughing as the large boulder hit Frisk, knocking them into a tree. Filia jumped down.
`` That's what you get! `` Filia spoke once again. `` YEAH! `` Samson yelled, as Frisk got up, holding their head in pain. Frisk would then rush over, in an angered state, as Samson suddenly formed into a pair of donkey legs, causing Filia to kick forward and hitting Frisk's head as well as their soul, destroying both.
Que: Undertale - Megalo Strikes Back
Suddenly, the soul grew back, Frisk getting up, shaking their head. Frisk then dashed forwards, cutting Filia's chest, knocking her back, as they stared at Filia. This caused Filia to be frozen in fear, as they dashed again, cutting Filia's face, as they stared once again, immediately incapacitated Filia.
Frisk then rushed over, jumping in the air, and slamming down with the worn dagger, but noticed a large red spark come from Filia. Samson exploded into a large afro, knocking Frisk upwards, as he yelled in anger. `` RAH! `` He spoke, lifting up Filia effortlessly as he moved Filia's arm and formed a blade.
Que: Skullgirls - The Lives We Left Behind
Quickly dashing upwards, the large blade cut right through the soul, before Samson becomes a much monstrous form, firing a large spiked ball at Frisk's body, crushing it, before ramming right back down with Filia, becoming a smaller spiked ball, grinding the entirety of Frisk's body into blood and guts.
K.O![]
Samson calmed down, as he lifted Filia again, standing, with her body flapping in the wind, as Frisk's soul pieces would quickly be devoured by Samson. With this, Samson quickly fled, to get Filia away from here and attempt to save her, as Papyrus walked over, laughing to himself with Sans, as he saw the blood and guts of the now-befriended human.
Results[]
Que: Smash Bros. Ultimate - You Call This a Utopia?
Game and Watch: FUCK YES! FINALLY! GOD DAMN IT!
ROB: Quiet. While people might be surprised, we weren't using Chara, and this was just a Genocide route Frisk, despite the fight being quite the opposite.
Game and Watch: So, as he was going to say, Frisk definitely held an advantage of speed and abilities, but nothing else. Comparing potency, Filia definitely took it, with Frisk being around Small Building, as they could beat Asgore at their best who's a Small Building character, and Filia being around Multi-City Block just from who she's fought. Other than this, Frisk could dodge lightning, which moves at 1/3 the speed of light, whereas Filia moves at the speed of sound, which was way slower, but Frisk really couldn't beat Filia with that.
ROB: Yes. Frisk could have incapacitated Filia, but they would just have to deal with Samson which would be extremely hard, and if they just incapacitated Samson, they would still have to deal with Filia, and while it might be very easy, we don't really know if using Stare really was an in-character decision or win-con for Frisk, and they couldn't hurt Filia even if they could incapacitate anyways.
Game and Watch: Yeah. Remember how we stated Filia could scale to Squiggly? Well, she can burn souls at 2 million degrees, something Squiggly could do casually, and Filia likely could tank this, and keep in mind this fire directly attacks the soul. We assumed that this feat was still superior to Frisk's AP, and there is evidence that Squiggly possibly could also dish out Multi-City Block attacks with this fire, once again being superior to Frisk's AP.
ROB: Due to this...
Game and Watch: We found out that Filia was too determined to win.
ROB: Filia is the winner.
