Agent Texas VS Penny Polendina is a what-if episode of Death Battle by Animegx43, featuring Agent Texas from the Red Vs Blue series and Penny Polendina from the RWBY series in a battle between robotic lady soldiers.

Description[]

The mean lady fights the cute girl. But which is the stronger android?

Interlude[]

Wiz: Whether it would be used by humanity or against, many fear the name when artificial intelligence becomes advanced enough to be used for military conflicts.

Boomstick: Others, like yours truly, loves watching them kicking each other's ass.

Wiz: Agent Texas, The number one ranked Freelancer from Red vs Blue.

Boomstick: And Penny Polondina, the protector of Mantle from RWBY. He's Wiz, and I'm Boomstick.

Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win...a Death Battle!

Agent Texas is freelancing for DEATH BATTLE[]

Wiz: As The Great War between humanity and Covenant Empire dragged on and on, humanity began getting desperate to find ways to finally win the war.

Boomstick: Basically, they threw darts at a wall to see if something would actually stick.

Wiz: One attempt was Project Freelancer. A program to equip highly trained soldiers with complicated tech operated by highly advanced A.I to create ultimate super soldiers. Unfortunately, there were complications as early as day one.

Boomstick: For starters, they were only able to get one A.I, which was based off of Project Freelancer's Director, Dr. Leonard Church. And I guess he was a bit of a prick, because that one A.I was not compatible with any of the soldiers.

Wiz: Until one day, this Alpha A.I created a new second one. This Beta A.I was created from the Alpha's memories of Dr. Church's wife, Alison Church, who was killed in action in the war. With the creation of the Beta A.I, Leonard Church was given an idea to solve the A.I problem.

Boomstick: Torture it and force it to break apart to a bunch of smaller A.I to give to everyone! Okay, yeah, he's definitely a prick.

Wiz: Being based off of his deceased wife, however, the Beta A.I was given special treatment and placed inside of a robot in order to join the Freelancer program, given the name Allison after the director's wife.

Boomstick: But to the freelancers, she was knowns as the terrifyingly badass Agent Texas.

__

Background:
-Given name: Allison Beth Church
-Estimate Height: 7 feet (with suit)
-A.I fragment of failure
-Likes: Money. Tucker's sword. Leonard "Alpha" Church
-Dislikes: Goodbyes. Dexter Grif's testicles. Leonard "Alpha" Church

__

Wiz: Shortly after coming alive, Tex quickly established herself as the best of the best. She was stronger than the team's brute, Maine, a deadlier shot than the sharpshooter, North Dakota, and a better martial artist than Carolina, the former number one.

Boomstick: Hey, remember that time and we made Maine and Carolina fight to the death? That was fun. And Tex has kicked both of their asses. Badly.

Wiz: Being mostly a brawler by specializing in close-range combat, Tex typically carries the standard issue weaponry used by the UNFC army, despite proven to be skilled at many more.

__

Arsenal:

-BR55 Battle Rifle
-2x M7/Caseless SMG
-M6G Magnum
-Fragment and Plasma Grenades
-A.I Omega
-Strength Enhancement
-Active Camouflaged

__

Boomstick: She has your standard M6 Magnum pistol, but her weapon of choice is a pair of M7/Caseless Submachine Gun, an automatic weapon that fires fifteen shots a second and at fourteen hundred feet a second. She also carries a BR Service Rifle that can shoot three burst rounds from almost a thousand meters away.

Wiz: She's also known for carrying a fair share of explosives. This includes your classic frag grenades, sticky spike grenades, mines, and even plasma granades.

Boomstick: These little guys are awesome. They'll stick to any surface it touches, and three seconds after landing, it'll kill anything with four meters. Observe, you dummies!

DUMMI: I'm sorry, did I hear my--

"Plasma grenandes hits DUMMI as he flies into it"

...

Wiz: Worst throw, ever. Of all time.

Boomstick: Not my fault, your dumb robot got in the way.

BOOM!!!!

Technical

Boomstick: Okay, we're back and alive. Man, we're getting a lot of mileage out of that dog.

Wiz: Now as impressive as Tex's arsenal may sound, what truly separates the Freelancer's from your regular soldiers are her armor enhancements, a special tool equipped to allow one to perform superhuman feats.

Boomstick: She has Strength Enhancement, which...well, enhances her strength. And an Active Camouflaged which can render her nearly completely invisible, allowing her to murder you without knowing where she came from.

Wiz: While Tex has been shown to use both on her own effectively, most Freelancer agents were also paired with one of the Alpha's A.I fragments to operate the armor enhancements to their full potential. And just like those agents, Tex was paired with one.

Boomstick: This was Omega, also called O'Malley, who was the Alpha A.I's rage. And apparently, being angry means wanting to take over the world and murder everyone. Which...I guess really is the meaning of rage.

???: Damn straight!

Boomstick: What the...who was that?

Wiz: "Sigh" I should've expected this. He must've hacked our computers.

O'Malley: Right you are, Wiz. And now that I have control over Death Battle, I will use al of your valuable data to take over the multi-verse! Muahahaha!

Boomstick: Wait, what? He can do that? Could we do that this whole time?

O'Malley: Of course not, you fool! You use the data on Superman and Goku to decide who would kill each other. I, on the other hand, will use that knowledge to force them to do my bidding! And nothing can...wait, what the hell?

Boomtick: Hehe. What's wrong, didn't get the information you wanted?

Wiz: What did you do, Boomstick?

O'Malley: It appears the idiot replaced all of the research data with fifty petabytes of pornography. Who needs this much porn? To hell with this. Rest assure though, when I come back, I'll blow your brains out with your own leg! Revenge will be mine!

...

Wiz: I guess he finally left. Which is good, because I would like to know where you put our research data.

Boomstick: It's still in there. There's just an ocean of porn and ads blocking his way. Now no user can access our data. Not even us!

Wiz: I'm gonna have to replace that whole computer now. Anyway, as you can imagine, O'Malley is quite insane and very vengeful. Now just try and imagine an A.I like him paired with someone like Tex, who fully acknowledges that she does "mean things", to enhance her rage even further. Even Tex herself realized this and didn't always rely on him in battle.

Boomstick: Thank God. An A.I as mean as Tex paired with an A.I as pissed off as O'Malley is like the worst kind of power couple.

Wiz: To be fair, despite her scary reputation, one where people genuinely believed that she beat a man to death with his own skull, she does care about the big picture. She fought for Project Freelancer and fought with O'Malley to ensure humanity's survival. And after learning of her own origins and what Director Church did to the Alpha A.I, she fought against the entire program in order to save it, eventually lead to Project Freelancer being exposed as the failure it was.

__

Feats:

-Lift and threw a tank
-Survived getting rammed by a similar tank
-Punches and runs through metal doors
-Survived point-blank explosions
-Outran missiles
-Punched Dexter Grif's groin 7 times.

__

Boomstick: And it's not like she could've been stopped doing it. She's tough enough to tank shells from...well, tanks, able to run through metal walls like paper , and was even able to outrun a heat-seeking missile , which would've been moving at almost five hundred miles an hour! She's even strong to lift and throw Sheila the tank .

Wiz: A scorpion-class battle tank like Sheila officially weigh sixty-six tons. However, this is most likely not her full strength. You see, there's actually two different versions of the Beta A.I. One made from the original Alpha A.I, and one created by Epsilon, the A.I fragment that made up the original Alpha's memories.

Boomstick: Since both were made from the memories of the belonging to the Alpha and even their robot bodies were from Project Freelancer, and that the Epsilon version of Tex is a fragment of another A.I fragment, it's likely that anything this version of Tex can do, the real one can do too. Like catch and throw a massive metal crate heavier than that tank.

Wiz: By measuring it's length, width, and thickness, which would be roughly ten meters, three meters, and twelve centimeters respectfully,  and then applying the density of steel, this container should weigh over ninety tons.

Boomstick: But she's not all muscle. She's a very quick thinker, capable to react and plan out attacks at a moments notice, even shooting down three guys the moment they all jumped out of cover, orshoot at enemies on a motorcycle while being gunned down. Of course, if she uses O'Malley, it's a whole other story since A.I can think much, MUCH faster than humans.

Wiz: Keep in mind that Tex is an A.I herself, meaning her own reaction speed is likely similar to the A.I fragments. For instance, Epsilon, one of the last A.Is fragmented from the Alpha, was able to perceive time as if it were totally stopped, to the point where even a bullet barely moved. As Epsilon was one of the later fragments to be made, which are note to be weaker than the earlier ones created, O'Malley, and possibly even Tex, would reasonably be able to scale to this.

Boomstick: Man, being that super strong and that fast is just making her sound more and more unstoppable.

Wiz: Oh no, she's very stoppable. In fact, being based off the memory of the Director's wife, who he remembers for dying in battle, the Beta A.I represents the original Allison's failure. She has "died" several times from unlucky situations, died for real after being captured by The Meta while injured, and this is especially true when she tries to save those close to her, such as the Alpha A.I, who had already been completely broken by his torture. In truth, she's doomed to fail at everything she tries.

Boomstick: Well, if you say that being a failure means beating the crap out of an army of one-man armies and throw cars while in a bad mood and still making it out on top, I'm definitely afraid of failure now.

"Hiya, fellas. Whose next?

-Agent Texas, before doing some mean things.

Penny is combat ready for a DEATH BATTLE[]

Wiz: Between the monstrous grimms plaguing the planet and the evil Salem plotting for world conquest, the world of Remnant can always use more heroes.

Boomstick: This is the same world where all weapons are required to double as a gun. Even  guns should probably double as another gun.

Wiz: While there's many Huntsmen around the world trained to fight against these threats, the Kingdom of Atlas is known for having the best military force in world, with the city of Mantle as its capital.

Boomstick: Yeah, these guys got the best technology around to help Huntsmen and the military to keep fighting these giant monsters and super evil ex-wives while keeping the people safe. They even made giving robots a soul possible.

Wiz: While Atlas depended greatly on its robotic army, the genius scientist and physician, Dr. Pietro Polendina, had an idea for creating a robotic protector with a soul, a human factor that machines otherwise don't have.

Boomstick:  After pulling that off, he gave it all the weapons it needed to be the most adorable, badass killer robot. He named it Penny.

__

Background:
- Given name: P.E.N.N.Y (Penny Polendena)
-Height: 5'5".
-Official protector of Mantle
-Current Winter Maiden
-Inspired by Pinnochio
-Hiccups when she lies.

__

Wiz: Although she was given the duty to serve the people, Penny is an intelligent A.I and was given her own personality and sense of morals, and was given freedom to befriend and learn with others. Which is a little dangerous in my opinion, as that probably means the three rules of robotics don't apply to her.

Boomstick: Come on, Wiz. Look at her. She's so adorable. If I could I'd adopt this little sunshine of happi--

"Penny proving to be more than just a little girl."

Boomstick: Okay, I DEFINITELY want one now.

Wiz: What, Penny or the swords?

Boomstick: Yes.
__

Arsenal:

Floating Array:
-14+ foldable blades
-Thin, but strong cable wiring.
-Max cable length: Unknown
-Laser beam launcher
-Max wire distance: Unknown
-Winter Maiden cryomancy
-Scanners
-Flight capabilities
__

Wiz: These are the blade of Floating Array, a highly versatile set of swords that serves as the basis of Penny's fighting style. Each sword is controlled by Penny via cables which can initially be mistake for telekinesis.

Boomstick: This lets her control as many as 14 swords at once, and very gracefully, might I add, almost like they're just part of the air.

Wiz: Boomstick, I never took you for someone who likes "graceful".

Boomstick: Wiz, my friend, when it comes to heavy weaponry, there's always room to turn it into art. It's not enough that the swords can block bullets. It takes a true artist like Penny to spin those suckers around fast enough to block automatic-fire. This is like if ballet could murder people.

Wiz: Still, the Floating Array does more than just attack and defend. By anchoring the blades into the wall or ground, she can fling herself around for additional mobility.

Boomstick: Oh, kind of like if a spider had grappling hooks for legs.

Wiz: A terrifying thought, though not an inaccurate comparison. But, the Floating Array is more than just a sword. Much like nearly every other weapon in the RWBY universe, it doubles as long range weaponry, and an especially powerful no less.

Boomstick: Sword-gun! Awesome! Let's test it out. Oof. This thing's surprisingly heavy.

Wiz: W-wait, where did you get that? Be careful! It's a--

Boomstick: Awesome gun, I know. Ready Aim Fi--RREEEEEEEEE!

CRASH!!!

Boomstick: Damn, man. That's some kickback. How did I forget it was a bigass laser?

Wiz: The Floating Array's laser are very powerful. Enough so to one-shot most grimm , and when charged, can even   slice through aircrafts with ease .  Actually, while on the topic, given how these laser burn and have never been seen exploding and shoot straight out of the barrel, they are definitely light-based lasers. And Boomstick here nearly aimed it right at my face.

Boomstick: Uh, hehehe. Oops. I, uhh, think I'll just let the little girl handle the military grade weaponry like a responsible adult should.
__

Feats:
- Stopped a speeding truck  without moving.
- Pulled a 12 ton aircraft out of the sky
- Blocked rotary cannons with Floating Array
- Fought toe-to-toe with Pyrrha Nikos
- Survived the Winter Maiden's storm

__

Wiz: She is definitely responsible enough, despite her innocence and age. Which is great given her incredible power. She's strong enough to stop heavy vehivles bare-handed, rip large rocks out of the ground , and then crush her enemies with them.

Boomstick: She's not just muscle though. She's easily able to keep up with all of her friends, like Ruby and her team. She even kept her pace with the super talented Pyrrha from team JNPR.

Wiz: Pyrrha herself is fast enough to fight Cardin Winchester, who was fast enough toblock a bullet fired by Pyrrha herself from only three meters away . Assuming her gun is similar to an assault rifle and given the distance fired, Cardin would've had to react with two and a half milliseconds, and move roughly twenty-nine hundred meters per second. That's eight times speed of sound.

Boomstick: And if Pyrrha can scale to that, then Penny surely scales to it too. And then there's that one time Penny decided to hook her swords onto a bullhead, err, a cargo ship, not a literal bull's head, and pulled it out of the sky . While nothing like these really exists, we can compare their sizes to that of a Ch-47 Chinook chopper, which weighs about twelve tons.

Wiz: Pulling down an aircraft in-flight isn't quite the same as picking it up off the ground. For an object to so much as hover off the ground, it needs lift equal to the mass of said object to make it weightless. For it to reliably fly, it would need as much as twice the lift needed to move it.

Boomstick: Going back to our friend, the Chinook, it has a maximum takeoff weight of twenty-five tons, so when Penny yanked that Bullhead to the ground, it was more like throwing down a fifty ton oject. How the hell did she do that without breaking the cables?

Wiz: Realistically, that shouldn't even be possible. Considering these cables are as thin as wires as well as how much lift they would be pulling against, the tensile strength of the cables would need to be over three hundred times stronger than steel.

Boomstick: Damn. With cables like that, it's no wonder she was able to slice herself in half. Oh, uh, oops. Spoiler alert: She died. By slicing herself in half. Don't worry though, she got better.

Wiz: She got MUCH better afterwards. As her core was undamaged and she could be revived, Dr. Polendina used this unfortunate accident as a chance to provide Penny with some quality-of-life upgrades, uncluding the ability to fly and enemy detection. It was at this time that she officially became the protector of Atlas.

Boomstick: Well, for a little while at least. When it became apparent that Salem and her grimm was going to attack, it's mayor/military commander got scared and tried to seperate the city from the rest of the world and just abandon the country itself. Team RWBY didn't like it, and neither did good girl Penny, effectively turning on Commander Ironwood as well.

Wiz: This was when Penny acquired the powers of a maiden. An ancient magic that's passed only from one woman to another by being the last person in their minds upon their death. She did this by protecting the out of control Winter Maiden and allowing her to die peacefully of old age.

Boomstick: Wait, but isn't her soul made from a guy? Shouldn't that mean it wouldn't work?

Wiz: It's better not to think too hard on it. This even gave Penny the power of the Winter Maiden, which, as the name implies, grants her the power of magical ice. While we can't compare her to the previous, fully realized maiden, Penny should at least be capable of applying its magic on a fundaental level. And given the power of other young maidens who has had them for a few years at the very most , that still says a lot.

Boomstick: So she's now a magical robot with deadly weaponry, a superhuman body, and a soul. My god, she is the perfect child.

Wiz: Well, perfect is generous word. She is still rather young, and has yet to unlock a sembelence, which is basically an X-Men mutant power which a person can potentially unlock, and she's still learning how to properly socialize with other people. But, if there is one word that can acurately describe Penny, it would have to be: Human.

"Sal...uuuu...TATIONS!"
-Penny, as she greets/yeets Ruby Rose.

Intermission[]

Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set and we've run the data through all possibilities.

Boomstick: Now hold on, the nice reader may not actually be interested in a fan made Death Battle. Maybe they would rather talk about on-going fights,

Wiz: Then they can do so over at the Death Battle Wiki , another community that happens to be fans of our show. The pages are always being updated to share info on current and past combatants as well as trivia for the individual characters and episodes.

Boomstick: So it's kind of like TV Tropes, but just for Death Battle.

Wiz:  But the true attraction is the community itself. Feel free to visit the comment section on the bottom of page of the upcoming episode to share your thoughts on it, whether it's to express your hype or to explain why fighter A mega-stomps fighter B.

Boomstick: Or if you just feel like shooting the shit, just come right over to Comment Section Central to talk about other things, DB related or not. It gives you a great chance to talk about fights you hope will become a reality, or really anything you want. It's basically free for fall.

Wiz: So start right now by coming over to Comment Section Central right now and introduce yourself to the rest of the community.

Boomstick: But right now, it's time for a DEATH BATTLLLLLLE!

(*cues: Robotic Titan - GamingMechanic*)

Robotic Titan

Inside of a laboratory, scientists study away at a set of tools and weaponry, with one scientist in particular studying a the monitors of a pod. Penny stood at the entrance with a happy smile, content with the worker's safety.

But it was short lived. After a knock on the pod came to the scientists' attention, he took a look inside, only for the door to be sent flying off by the fist inside, sending the poor man flying as well.

"Did it escape?"

"Get it back in!"

THWACK!!!

When the remaining two scientists tried to control the situation, their heads were immediately bashed into each other by Tex as she walked out of the pod. From there, she went to a nearby workstation to pick-up her equipment. Being the only one left conscious, Penny flew up from the door to greet the awoken freelancer.

Tex was first greeted by a voice in her head after installing a chip into her head. "Ugh. It's about time. You will not believe how much pornography they have here."

Then came Penny. "Salutations, Agent Texas! I'm sure you have some questions. For now, please return to your stasis pod and we'll let these good people help you.

After fully arming herself, Tex finally spoke up. "Sorry, kid. My idiots probably need me. Show me the exit, and no one else gets hurt."

"Oooh! I say we hurt her anyway." O'Malley suggested.

Unfortunately, Penny wasn't in a position to properly compromise, and Tex simply wasn't willing to anyway. In fact, as soon as Tex pulled out her assault rifle, Penny knew she prepare herself for a...

FIGHT!

Funny enough, the first thing Tex did was run straight past Penny, as the former had seen the elevator and wanted to escape the facility. As soon as Tex had some distance, she began to shoot at Penny from behind. After dodging the first few rounds, Penny flew up and began the chase.

After avoiding the round of bullets, Penny charged forward to cut Tex off from the elevator. She tried to give the freelancer a kick to the head, only for her to jump back from Penny. She briefly switched to her pistol, but Penny was able to anticipate and avoid the two shots fired before grabbing Tex's hands.

"Now now. We shouldn't be fighting. If we can just go back and apologize to those men over there, I'm sure we can all--"

This was when Tex drove her knee into the robot child's face. Despite that, she didn't let go.

"Uh oh. I don't think this is a normal little girl we're trying to beat up."

Facing resistance, Penny began swinging Tex around and around before throwing her back into the capsule Tex emerged out of, but after she landed feet first on the wall, Tex launched herself back and tackled Penny.

The plan was to knock Penny to the ground, but much to Tex's surprise, the two of them stayed airborne, as Penny kept the two of them in the air with her jet feet. As the fight was escalating, Penny decided to get serious.

"Forgive me, but if you keep resisting, I fear I might have to cause you harm."

"Don't get cocky, you little bi--"

After interrupting Tex, Penny used one arm to lift her up in the air, right before slamming the freelancer through the ground, creating a large hole to the lower levels of the facility. With her opponent gone, she flew down to give chase.

Tex was completely helpless as she fell from the surface, but prepared herself for the landing. As Penny tried to fly near her from above, she was driven away when Tex started to shoot her with her pistol, taking a few hits as a result. After flying down to the ground, Penny released a set of the Floating Array to continue fighting.

Tex tucked and rolled at the last second to land safely, and the moment she stood back up, she had grabbed her SMGs and dual-fired at Penny, but with her swords already out, Penny blocked the bullets by spinning some of the blades in front of her in a circle. She answered by using a few of the blades to fire lasers at Tex, but she kept moving and managed to dodge the counterattack.

Tex did a quick summersault and switched to firing with her battle riffle, sneaking a grenade toss during the switch, and while she still blocked the gunfire, the grenade enter the middle of the circle of swords and exploded in her face which knocked her backwards. During this moment where no one was shooting, Tex ran to Penny's left as she began to vanish from this air. This confused Penny, but only for a moment.

"Oh my. Scanning for targets: now."

Although shocked by the of results the scan, Penny hastily launched one of her swords to her right. As she swung her arm up and down, the other swords swung to match the movements. Eventually, one of the swords managed to pierce into the cloaked Tex, which knocked her cloaking offline.

"Blast. I think she sees us. Go for her jugular."

Despite the sword still stuck in her, Tex charged forward to punch, but missed, Penny. Penny sent a circle of blades at her, but Tex leaped over them with a side jump, and as soon as she got close again, Tex punched Penny in the face.

"I said her jugilar. THE JUGULAR!" O'Malley complained. During which, Tex landed a rapid-fire combo of punches that juggled Penny in the air and never allowed her touch the ground. "Punch her God damn throat!"

"She's a robot, you idiot!"

As Tex was distracted, the Floating Array anchored themselves into the ground directly behind Penny and pulled her back to the ground, which broke herself free of the juggle, dodged a kick Tex attempted, and gave Penny the chance to knock Tex back with a punch to the throat.

"See? SHE gets it."

After taking the blow to her throat, Tex retaliated by grabbing the cable on the sword that was still impaled in her and used it to pull Penny right back to her before landing a punch in the girl. While thrown back, Penny recovered mid and floated safely on the ground. During which, Tex pull the sword out of her chest before she sliced the cable off with it, thus, giving her a new weapon.

Despite the missing sword, Penny went back on the attack with the rest of Floating Array, as she sent several blades forward while keeping the rest by her to fire lasers at Tex, who managed to sidestep the laser fire while deflecting the swords, grabbing one in the air while slicing the cable with the previously stolen blade.

When the two met again at melee range, Penny got aggressive by swinging multiple swords down one by one, which were blocked by the one of Tex's. When Tex swung the other sword at Penny, she guarded with a swing of one of her swords, which caused both to shatter on impacted. Tex sliced the cable of one more to steal another, but shattered her old one on another one of Penny's as soon as she got the third. Tex swung down with her new sword, only for Penny to break that one as well by sacrificing another one of hers.

With no more stolen swords, Tex charged up a punch as Penny did the same. When both of their fists were launched, the intensity of their punches caused the ground beneath them to crack.

But in the end, Penny was pushed back by the collision, which gave Tex the opportunity to land two hooks, one on Penny's body, and the other at head. These were followed by an overhead punch that launched Penny backward until she hit the wall, causing it to crack and crumble on impact and Penny landing on her hands and knees.

"Don't take it too hard, kid." Tex said as she took her battle rifle back out. "I'm simply the best at what I do."

But Penny was undeterred, and as she got back up, she looked to Tex with green flames burning out of her eyes. "Then I'll have to do my best too."

After getting back up, Penny unleashed a frozen gust of wind that took the approaching Tex by surprise. After floating briefly in the air, Penny dove back down and slammed her hands into the ground, creating a sheet of ice that quickly covered the floor in the whole room.

Tex jumped as the ice froze the ground under her, but as soon as she landed, the ice froze her feet on impact, with the sudden imbalance and made her drop her rifle. With Tex stuck in place, Penny began spinning her Floating Array as they began to charge a massive laser from the center.

"Alison! A grenade!"

After grabbing her pistol, Tex fired multiple shots into the ice at her feet. After getting one of them freed, she tossed her pistol away and prepared a grenade. She gave it an overheard throw with her right arm, but at that moment, Penny had finished charging and fired, blasting through Tex's arm and sliced it off, blasting her across the room as her arm fell forward.

Seeing the grenade the second time, Penny flew and caught it mid-air. "I believe this is yours." She said as she tossed the grenade back.

Oddly enough, she didn't see anything flying back at Tex. Instead, she heard a strange hissing sound. After taking a look at her hand, she realized that a plasma grenade was stuck to her hand.

"Oopsie."

BOOM!

The plasma grenade went off at point blank range, blasting Penny back into the wall and delivered heavy damage. Penny was able to get back up, but continued to suffer the effects of the blast, wobbling around as she struggled to get back on her feet. Although she was still disoriented, she looked around to her opponent.

That was when she heard Tex's scream, as she leaped in the air and down to Penny. With her remaining arm and all the strength she could muster, she drove her fist into Penny's head.

The next thing she knew, Tex was outside of the facility on a gravel road. There was debris everywhere.

Tex turned around to realize that the rubble came from the wall she had punched her way through, and on the other side of the whole was Penny's still standing, abeit headless, body. As she looked at herself to check out the damage, she took in the fact that one of her arms was gone, and the other had a Penny's robotic head through her wrist from the final punch.

With the fight over, Tex ran as far from the facility as possible as she discard the robot girl's head off her arm.

"Mwhaha! In her face."

Results[]

K.O!

Boomstick: Haha. In her fa...oh damn it, he stole my joke! That guy really is evil.

Wiz: Honestly, this was such an even battle that both fighters could win their fair share of bouts. With her heavy weaponry, Penny could definitely hold her own.

Boomstick: Yeah, that much was fairly obvious. Even if we gave Tex rocket launchers, miniguns, or any other weapon she's used outside of her usual arsenal, giant floaty laser swords and magic ice maid powers kind of blow everything away. So what stops her front just brute forcing a win more often than not?

Wiz: Simply put, Agent Texas held a solid advantage everywhere that she needed. For example, we know that Penny could pull down a cargo ship despite fighting against fifty tons of lift, but Tex could catch and throw large shipping container weighing ninety tons, which is almost double that. Also, Tex has show far more expertise in close quarter combat and martial arts than Penny has demonstrated.

Boomstick: Yeah, keep in mind that Tex is able to match and surpass Agent Carolina, who is an expert martial artist and would've otherwise been the best fighter in Project Freelancer, as well as several other agents all at once. And for as skilled as these guys are, Tex was always used as a secret weapon to accomplish mission goals. Sure, Penny was trusted to protect a city, she's had much fewer jobs overall.

Wiz: With that much strength and skill, Texas could definitely overpower Penny in a fight, but in order for these advantages to payoff, she would still need to keep up at Penny's pace. And surprisingly, speed was Tex's biggest advantage over Penny.

'Bo'omstick: No freaking way. Penny has those awesome green lasers. How could Tex deal with that?

Wiz: Well, the lasers were easier to deal with than you might think. While these are most certainly actual lightspeed lasers and not the plasma kind, Penny has never reliably used them to land direct hits. Even when taking down that Bullhead aircraft, and especially during her fight against Pyrrha, these lasers were more used like extended swords to slice away at opponents. Pyrrha's own skill and reaction speed allowed her to dodge these attacks, but it would be a massive outlier to assume these were lightspeed reactions, as no one in the RWBY universe has demonstrated such feats.

Boomstick: Well, except the literal God and Satan of the world, but you get the point. The Floating Array, which makes these lasers, are able to spin fast enough to block rotary cannons , which can fire rounds at over three thousand meters a second.

Wiz: In the past, we've seen Tex perform many superhuman reactionary feats. But the important detail to remember is that she is an A.I, which definitely is a contributing factor. While she can't perform the absurd mathematic calculations that the other A.I fragments perform while they're partnered up...

Boomstick: Which, like A.I fragment Theta has done, includes using a bubble barrier to only hover in the exact spot where bullets are being shot while the guns are spinning and flying around among other crazy stuff.

Wiz: ...she would still be an A.I fragment nonetheless, and would have similar reaction speed, especially since she knows full well that she is one. Even if pushed to her limits, O'Malley could compensate and provide the full benefits of an A.I.

Boomstick: Remember that time Epsilon saw the world in slow motion? These guys firing at Epsilon and Carolina were using a variant of the SMG Tex herself used, so they likely have a similar nozzle velocity and shoot bullets at fourteen hundred feet per second. But to Epsilon, it took about four seconds for the bullet to even leave the twenty centimeter supressor.

Wiz: For a bullet moving fourteen hundred feet a second to only move four centimeters a second to Epsilon, he and his fellow A.I must be able to perceive time more than ten thousand times faster than a normal human being. Now, the Floating Array are able to block bullets moving twice that speed, it would still be seen in slow-motion from O'Malley's perspective, giving Tex plenty of time to avoid their attacks.

Boomstick: Okay, but what about Penny herself? How would we know whether or not someone is too fast for Tex and O'Malley?

Wiz: Let's look at it from a reactionary point-of-view. As previously mentioned, A.I fragments are able to observe time ten thousand, six hundred and sixty-eight times faster than the average person, and so their reaction speed would be that much faster as a result. The average human has a reaction time of about two hundred and fifty milliseconds, or one quarter of a second.

Boomstick: Scaling Penny to Pyrrha, she could match a guy dodge a bullet at twenty-nine hundred meters a second. He would've had to react within nine-hundred and twenty-three microseconds to pull that off. Since the red-head can scale to that, Penny should be able to pull that off too.

Wiz: In comparison, that would make Penny's reaction time two-hundred and seventy times faster than the average human. An impressive feat...but with Tex and O'Malley being ten thousand times faster than average meant that Tex was over forty times faster than Penny.

Boomstick: But to be fair, Penny isn't the only one who would have a hard time keeping up with Tex. After all, even Agent Carolina, who can repeatedly dodged bullets at point-blank range , like the others Penny scaled to, always had a really hard time keeping up with her.

Wiz: Penny was without a doubt a powerhouse and could reasonably take the win here and there. But overall, Tex was still the stronger machine, the more skilled warrior, and the faster thinking artificial intelligence.

Boomstick: Sure, Penny may have gotten flipped, but at least she landed on heads.

Wiz: The winner is Agent Texas.

Trivia[]

  • The connections between Agent Texas and Penny are that both are robots created by Rooster Teeth shows (Red vs Blue and RWBY respectively). They are both recognized for their unexpected super human strength and combat abilities. They both also revolted their creators to help their allies (Tex going against Director Church save the Alpha A.I and Penny disobeying Ironwood to help Ruby Rose).
  • This is Animegx43's first fight to not feature a villain.
  • The track cover was created by GamingMechanic
  • This fight was intended to commemorate the release of RWBY Volume 8 and Red vs Blue: Zero.
