Prelude[]

Wiz: Some of the most misunderstood people were often neglected by their respective parents. That neglect transforms into sadness, and sadness into rage.

Boomstick: And rage into raw material to write music… ‘Oh daddy, why did you leave me’... oh we’re not talking about me? Phew.

Wiz: No, we’re talking about Ashi. One of Seven daughters of Aku.

Ashi-Death-Battle — (insert extra thicc joke here)

Boomstick: And Marceline. The daughter of Hunson Abadeer.

Wiz: I’m the Wizard and he’s Boomstick. And today we’re looking at these two deadly, demonic daughters to find out who would win a Death Battle!

Ashi[]

Wiz: Put yourself into the metaphorical shoes of Aku. The ruler of a rather destitute future and rivaled by absolutely no one. Except of course for one particular samurai, Samurai Jack... He doesn’t have a last name.

Boomstick: Despite every attempt at getting rid of that pesky samurai, even waiting for him to age didn’t work, Aku just couldn’t seem to stop Jack. Like a cockroach that just doesn't want to die. Luckily though, he had a few solutions to this problem… or like, 7 of them.

Wiz: Among the many grisly and grim inhabitants of earth was a cult that worshiped Aku like the god he is. Determined and loyal, they offered one of their own in a ritual that would create the 7 daughters of Aku. A mixture of his own essence and a human woman resulted in a small army of fighters. These black clad, white masked warriors would slay any and all opposition to their father. One of those daughters would end up being crucial to the fates of both Aku and Jack.

Boomstick: Her name is Ah-shi.

Wiz: Ashi.

Boomstick: That's what I said.

Wiz: Like her siblings, Ashi was born with one goal in mind: to serve Aku. In order to do so in a violent and bloodsoaked world, she had to be trained and properly brainwashed by her vexing mother in order to take on the deadliest of foes.

Boomstick: And whatever training program their mother had on them worked like a charm. Not only did she become the deadliest of her siblings, but Ashi can take on entire armies on her own, challenge machines big enough to destroy buildings and even compete with Jack in raw skill, who can fight for hours on end. Oh and the brainwashing probably helped.

Wiz: Unfortunately that said brainwashing caused her to have quite a few repressive and often suicidal thoughts that only served to increase her already intense rage. It's almost impressive how easily she can get upset. And yet, there was still a part of her that wanted nothing more than to be free of her mothers influence, and it would be Jack of all people that would give her the strength to fight against her father.

Boomstick: And let me tell you, you don’t want to be the guy who threatens Jack after that. Especially when she's got her wicked Kusarigama. This traditional Japanese sickle weapon is already pretty gnarly in the right hands, now imagine wielding one of these things and being strong enough to slice through solid stone.

Wiz: As a bonus, the Kusarigama can be used to disarm opponents as well as being able to deflect arrows. Normally I wouldn’t advise such use of it but if theres anyone that can turn even the most simple of weapons into a deadly tool, its Ashi. From swords to bows to common knives, there is little she can't transform into a weapon.

Boomstick: Even without weapons I wouldn’t count her out. Completely unarmed, she killed the Dominator, took on and defeated an entire army. Breaking their armor and then their bodies. And right after that she fought and defeated her own mother in singles combat and killed her with a single arrow.

Wiz: She and her sisters are capable of harming Jack, who survived being crushed by a 700 ton man. Her physical speed can be directly compared to Jack, who can react to and dodge lasers moving at the speed of light with little to no effort. Her endurance allows her to fight multiple opponents for long periods of time, including against her own father, Aku.

Boomstick: Speaking of daddy: Being his kid does come with some pretty neat advantages, or disadvantages depending on how you see it. Including being able to transform into her ‘true form’ which is a lot like Aku in more ways than one.

Wiz: Not only does she look like her father, but she inherits many of his destructive abilities. Limb extensions, eye lasers, control over darkness, full body metamorphosis and pyrokinesis. All of this and more makes her even a danger to Jack, and came pretty close to killing him. Only if because he didn't want to harm her, but her most useful skill is her ability to create time portals that can send people into the distant future or past, which ultimately is what spells defeat for Aku.

Boomstick: And herself it seems. Since Jack killed Aku in the past, this means that Ashi ceased to be. Going out like the hero Jack always knew she could be.

Wiz: The story of Ashi was mired in tragedy that was only outclassed by her sheer will to succeed. There was little that could challenge her ferocity in combat or gentle nature near the end of her life. Whatever her life could have been, we might never know, but the life she did lead led to the destruction of Aku and saved the world.
