Fern the Human, also known as Grass Finn, is Finn's grass clone in the Cartoon Network animated series, Adventure Time.

History[]

Originally, Fern was a Finn from another timeline, who was turned into the sentient 'Finn Sword' apon meeting the original Finn. During a conflict with Badit Princess, Finn's grass arm stabs the Finn Sword, cracking the gemstone on the crossguard. Eventually, while fighting a rampaging Susan Strong, Finn's grass arm, which was presumably controlled by a grass demon, detached itself from the young adventurer and infested the Finn Sword, taking over the alternate timeline Finn and morphing the blade into the being known as Fern.

Fern is more violent than Finn, and doesn't strategize in battle, preferring to overpower his enemies as quickly as possible
