Featherine Augustus Aurora is a character from the visual novel series, Umineko no Naku Koro Ni, which also has a manga adaptation of confirmable canonicity and an anime adaptation of unknown canonicity. She is the Witch of Theatergoing, Drama, & Spectating, and is the overarching antagonist of the entire series, though she typically leaves the more evil deeds to others. She's the author of Umineko, and presumably When They Cry as a whole, and has been attempting to understand her own existence and the meaning of the stories she reads ever since she came into being.
