Power Rangers vs Miraculous. From assholes to heroes, these two come from two entirely different sides of life. Which redeemed hero in spandex will survive?
Interlude[]
Scythe: In life, there are some people who are just plain, well, assholes. But given the chance, even they can reveal the heart of a hero.
Soul: And by chance, we mean magic spandex. Eric Myers, the Time Force Quantum Ranger.
Scythe: And Chloé Bourgeois, the Miraculous Queen Bee.
Scythe: As these two are often seen fighting alongside others and have even used a few one-off abilities, let’s establish some ground rules. For this battle, there will be no Quantasaurus Zord, no Miraculous fusing, no Mega Battle Armor, and no Akumatized versions of the Queen Bee forms like Queen Wasp or Miracle Queen.
Soul: Can you please not remind me of Miracle Queen? Anyways, as should also be obvious, the Time Force Rangers and other Miraculous Users will not be factored in either. This is a straight 1v1 duel to the Death. He’s Scythe and I'm Soul.
Scythe: And it’s our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.
Quantum Ranger[]
Eric Myers, the Quantum Ranger
Scythe: Growing up in the town of Silver Hills, Eric Myers had always had it rough. Dirt poor and family never mentioned, he had to scrape by and work twice as hard for everything in life.
Soul: But hey, things seemed to be going his way when he managed to get into a high level fancy prep school college thing...where everyone was a rich douchebag. God, can you imagine living on a campus full of entitled-
Quantum Ranger: Background[]

Scythe: It didn’t help that Eric generally liked nobody, viewing them all as...well exactly what they were. Even the only person who genuinely wanted to be friends with him, Wesley Collins.
Soul: Remember him for later, he’ll be important.
Scythe: Eventually, Eric left to go off on his own, seemingly never to be seen again. That was until the villainous Ransik came back from the year 3000 and began terrorizing Silver Hills with criminal mutants, and the Time Force Power Rangers came back to stop him.
Soul: Eric, not one to be shown up by literal fucking superheroes, joined a new military force called the Silver Guardians to help fight back against the Mutants...only to be tossed aside like the trash they where in the first freaking fight. And saved by the Red Ranger.
Scythe: Who just so happened to be Wes. Now furious, Eric began searching for a way to improve his rank in Silver Guardians and show Wes up, and eventually something did come up. An old Time Force experiment was found, and Eric got to it first. The fiery Quantum Morpher.
Soul: And with it he became not just any ranger, but the Quantum Ranger.
Quantum Ranger: Powers and Arsenal[]

Scythed: Morphing into his Ranger form gives Eric enhanced strength, speed, durability, and endurance. He’s strong enough to lift 2 ton cars and hurl them through the air and skilled enough to fight monsters almost twice his size and bulk with just his hands.
Soul: But if he needs a little extra firepower, he busts out the Quantum Defender. The Quantum Defender might just be one of the coolest Power Rangers weapons ever. So it’s a gun that fires energy plasma blasts and stuff. But can also hypercharge into giant fucking energy beam blasts.
Scythe: Additionally, he also has a blade mode for close range combat, which can throw out energy waves, and by combining it with the speed boosting acceleration mode, dash forwards with the Quantum Displace.
Soul: Oh ya, and he has a speed booster. Man, this guy is not someone you wanna mess around with. He helped take down plenty of mutants, survived being inside an exploding building, and eventually became the leader of the Silver Guardians ground forces. Only thing is...he’s kind of a cocky dick.
Quantum Ranger: Feats and Faults[]

Scythe: Eric believes he’s the best and strongest Ranger around, and will take on anyone to prove it. Even fellow Rangers like Wes, when he tried to warn him about not being ready for the Power of his Zord, the Q-Rex...and Eric beat the snot out of him in return. Although he eventually moved past that and they became friends.
Soul: Still, cocky or not, you’d be a fool to try and cross paths against the Quantum Ranger. Unless you wanna be...out of time!
Scythe: Ugh!
Queen Bee[]
Chloe Bourgois, the Queen Bee
Scythe: The city of Paris is not usually one for attacks from crazed, monster of the week supervillains, that’s usually America. But, the Legendary Miraculous changed all of that.
Soul: Ya, in summary, The Miraculous are ancient magical artifacts that grant their users superpowers. You’ve of course heard of Ladybug and Cat Noir, maybe the foxy Rena Rouge or the slithering snake Viperion. But, there’s one Miraculous holder whose story might be...the most complicated ever.
Queen Bee: Background[]
- Name: Chloe Bourgeois
- Age: 15
- Height: 4'4"
- Daughter of the Mayor of Paris
- Supposed (former) biggest fan of Ladybug
- Responsible for the most Akumatizations, easily
Scythe: Chloé Bourgeois grew up as the daughter of the Mayor of Paris and a Fashion Icon, and her mother was never around while her Father spoiled the hell out of her to make up for it. Growing up in such a toxic and dysfunctional household, in addition to having no friends, ended up warping Chloé into a spoiled egotistical brat who demeaned everyone with a “fuck everyone” addiutde, which didn’t help with the supervillain Hawkmoth would use the negitiate states of mind she created to turn people into monsters.
Soul: Despite all that...Chloé somehow ended up becoming the biggest fan of Ladybug, always wanting to help her, but never getting the chance. That is...until her own mom got akumatized and Ladybug lost the aforementioned Bee Miraculous trying to give it to someone else.
Scythe: And SOMEHOW, CHLOÉ was the one who found it first. By dawning the Bee Miraculous and merging with her Kwami Pollen-
Soul: The fucks a Kwami!?
Scythe: It’s...like the spiritual representation of the Miraculous’s power, and it’s absorbed into the Miraculous to charge it and transform Chloé into Queen Bee.
Queen Bee: Powers and Abilities[]

Soul: As a superhero, Chloé gets the standard enhancements to her strength, speed, durability, and endurance. Plus, the Miraculous suits themselves are magic and practically indestructible so long as they’re active.
Scythe: With her speed, Chloe is fast enough to catch a speeding subway train and strong enough to contend with Ladybug. Her main weapon, the Spinning Top-
Soul: Dumbest weapon in the world everyone.
Scythe: -can be thrown as a projectile or melee weapon. It can be spun to act as a shield and it’s string has no end to its length. And like every Miraculous, Chloé has had a special power linked to her Miraculous.
Soul: The Venom! Injected through her spinning top, Venom let's Chloé completely paralyze opponents. It seems awesome, and it is. But using it puts Chloé's power on a time limit, and after 5 minutes she changes back to normal.
Scythe: And she can't transform again unless she feeds Pollen.
Queen Bee: Feats and Faults[]

Soul: Because THAT makes sense. Oh, this tiny bee spirit is tired. I'll give it some cookies, and now it's just fine. Anyways, despite all that, Chloé is pretty powerful. She's actually defeated quite a few of Hawkmoth's akumas, including the stronger Scarlet Akumas and matched Mayura. And as Queen Wasp, the akumatized Queen Bee, she was strong enough to match both Ladybug and Cat Noir at the same time.
Scythe: Of course, like an idiot, Chloé's first Transformation into Queen Bee was public. This put a target on her back that meant Ladybug could rarely give her the Miraculous...when in a weird and twisted way, becoming a hero actually started helping her become a better person.
Soul: Too bad she threw it all away by becoming Miracle Queen and betraying Ladybug for no legitimate reason. And with confirmation someone else will be getting this Miraculous, it seems like she'll be stuck in the villain's role forever.
Scythe: But perhaps one day, if Chloé can come to her senses within the next two seasons, the original Queen Bee could fly once again.

DEATH BATTLE![]
Scythe: Alright the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.
Soul: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!
Paris Sewer System
In the sewers below Paris, footsteps could be heard as Chloé walked down the pathway while Pollen floated next to her, the two looking for something.
Chloé: How hard is it to find just one thing for Ladybug? Ridiculous, utterly ridiculous.
Pollen: I’m sure we’re close, my Queen.
Chloé: I hope so. This is my chance to make up for becoming Miracle Queen, and I won’t let Ladybug dow-
Suddenly, Chloé stopped and kneels down, picking up a flashing beacon slightly smaller than her hand. She holds it up and inspects the object.
Chloé: What’s this?
Eric: It’s a Temporal Transmitter.
Chloé suddenly turned around to see a man walk up, Eric Myers of the Silver Guardians. Eric stepped forwards, hand stuck out.
Eric: It’s Time Force technology. Hand it over.
Chloé: ...sorry, but this is too important for me! Pollen, Buzz On!
Cue Brandon Yates - Save the Future
Striking a pose, Pollen flew into the Miraculous and a golden glow shone out. Eric raised a hand to keep himself from the blinding light, then lowered it to face Queen Bee lunging at him.
Eric: Quantum Power!
The Quantum Morpher activated as Queen Bee threw her punch, only for the Quantum Ranger to grab her hand and throw her into a wall.
Quantum Ranger: Last chance kid. Hand over the Tempor-
Queen Bee: Like hell!
Throwing her top forwards, Chloé gets a bonk against Eric’s helmet and runs forwards, landing a punch to his face and kick to his chest. She goes in for a third hit when he grabs her hand with his.
Quantum Ranger: Alright kid. School’s on.
The Quantum Ranger slammed his fist into Queen Bee’s face, sending her flying backwards a good ways away. He charged forwards and slammed into her, landing another punch straight to her jaw. Queen Bee steps back and dodges a blow, landing her own hits before spinning her top as Eric draws the Quantum Defender, using it to deflect the laser blasts.
She then goes to swing it at the Quantum Ranger, but Eric switches the Quantum Defender to blade mode and parries the top’s strikes. Queen Bee leaps into the air and prepares to tackle him, but is met with the Quantum Defender back in Blaster mode charging up...and blasting her through the roof of the sewers and out onto the streets of Paris. She grunts as she hits the ground and Eric leaps up after her.
Quantum Ranger: Foolishness. Is rushing in blind all you can do?
Queen Bee grunts in annoyance as she throws her top, wrapping it around a street light and pulling herself forwards, slamming her knee into Eric's helmet, then swinging back around and kicking him in the gut. She flips and swings the top down at him, but he swings the Quantum Defender in blade to and the two clash a few times.
Leaping forwards, Queen Bee tries to kick him, but the Quantum Ranger throws Chloé away and into a car. Chloé grunted on the impact and reached down, lifting the car into the air.
Queen Bee: Match this!
She throws the car forwards, but Eric just swings the Quantum Defender and cuts the car in half, then reverts it back to blaster mode and holsters it.
Quantum Ranger: I can actually. But I'll do you one better.
Reaching over, The Quantum Ranger picks up a large truck that he throws forwards. Queen Bee gasps and tries to catch it, only it to smash her in the face and crash into the side of a building. Chloé pushes it back and stumbles out, coughing up a bit of blood into her hand and widening her eyes as Eric walked up as he picked the Temporal Transmitter, placing it on his belt as he did.
Quantum Ranger: Are you done kid? Because it's time to end this.
Queen Bee: I...won't fail you Ladybug! Not again! Venom!
Her legs wiggling as she stood up, Queen Bee activated her Venom power and leaped forwards, stabbing the top at Eric as he dodged past it and kicking her in the back. She leaped back, then lunged ahead, managing to hit him with it…
Only for the Quantum Defender blade to stab through her gut. Her eyes widened as the sword pierced the suit, and she was launched backwards before Eric dashed behind her, hitting her with the Quantum Displace, then kicking her into the air.
Quantum Ranger: Sorry kid, but I'm on a mission. And anyone who gets in my way-
Queen Bee opened her eyes to see the Paris sky, and in a flash Eric had leaped up into the air and aimed the Quantum Defender straight at her face.
Quantum Ranger: -Is going to regret it.
Queen Bee: Wai-
And with a pull of the trigger, the charged up blast flew out and hit Chloé dead on in the face. Her head popped and exploded instantly, her body falling back down and hitting the ground with a thud. Eric landed on the ground and holstered his weapon as he looked down at the Bee Miraculous, and Pollen on the ground beside it.
Pollen: Please...don't.
Quantum Ranger: Tch, scum.
Crushing the Miraculous underfoot, Eric Myers turned to walk away from the shattered hairclip.
Conclusion[]
Cue Power Rangers Time Force - Main Theme (Instrumental)
Soul: And pop goes the teenager!
Scythe: This was actually a decently close match. Queen Bee was surprisingly faster than Eric via scaling to Ladybug and the Miraculous suits magic gave her enough durability to still hold out.
Soul: But she had one big issue, she didn't have the ability to even hurt Eric. He was way stronger, being able to lift thousands of tons scaling to Jason while the Ladybug, and in turn other Miraculous users could barely lift open T-Rex Jaws, which, at most, takes only 3 tons of force. Still impressive, but not compared to the Quantum Ranger.
Scythe: It also didn't help Eric was a far more versatile fighter, having more martial arts skill and the Quantum Defender being a more reliable weapon, and his military and superhero training gave him an easy experience edge.
Soul: "But Scythe, couldn't Venom paralyze Eric?"
Scythe: Possibly, but unlikely. Given that Eric's durability dwarfs Chloé's own attack power, where attacks Chloé's durability is more through magical hax, it's unlikely she really could. We've never seen Venom be used on someone who dwarfs Chloé in power, but it's reasonable to assume it wouldn't work.
Soul: Plus, it puts her power on a time limit, whereas Eric's has no such restrictions. Even if it did come down to a powerless brawl, Eric still has way more training and skill.
Scythe: As we said, Chloé had the speed and durability to hang on for a while longer than most mutants. But in the end, she lacked the power, training, and skills needed to defeat the Quantum Ranger.
Soul: Chloé just kinda ran outta time, and it came at her head on.
