History[]
Enji Todoroki always strived to become the #1 hero. However, no matter what he did, he could never surpass his greatest rival, All Might. So, he decided to force an ice-quirk user, Rei, into marriage so he could spawn a fire & ice user that could surpass him and All Might. After several children, they finally had a child with the perfect balance, Shoto Todoroki. However, Enji's harsh training on Shoto further strained his relationship with his family. Then, one day, Rei snapped and scarred their son. The eventual family discord has Shoto grow to hate his father, when his son, Touya, left them to eventually become a Villain by the name of Dabi (Touya was presumed dead in a fire at that time).

Flaws[]
- Even though he has some immunity to fire, his power can cause his core temperature to rise to dangerous levels
- This can cause damages to his body as well, as he innately admitted he suffered from lung damage
- His abuse and outright neglect towards his family has caused pain to the point where Shoto had grown to hate him
- It also caused the presumed death of Touya, who in actuality, survived and was adopted by the League of Villains under the name "Dabi"
- Even then, he has felt guilt for this past mistreatment and has sought to make amends to his family.
