- The connections between Eddsworld and Ed, Edd 'n Eddy is that...
- Both are well-known trios that have been in both comics and their own cartoon show, also being a part of their own golden eras (Flash animations and television shows). The leaders (Edd and Eddy) are irresponsible people who are obsessed with a consumable item (Coca Cola and Jawbreakers), the smartest members (Tom and Double D) constantly get the short end of the stick, and the dumbest members (Ed and Matt) act like assholes but really care about their friends. Overall, their dynamics are pretty similar (The leaders causing the most trouble, the smartest members using sarcastic quips towards their friends, and the dumb ones being dragged into teasing the smartest members by the leader). They've also dealt with another trio identical to them in appearance, but polar opposites personality-wise (Eduardo, Jon, and Mark; May, Lee and Marie). Both have went on similar adventures and did the same things (e.g. destroying the sun, being construction workers, time travelling). The smartest members have oddities to them (Tom's lack of eyes and what's under Double D's hat) that is never deciphered in-character. The two teams also have video games based on them (Bang, Boom, Splat! and Ed, Edd, Eddy: The Mis-Edventures)
