Interlude[]
Wiz: In Fighting Games there are a variety of fighters of different sizes but these two bosses are known for being large and incredibly imposing
Boomstick: They are also extremely Strong and Tough like E. Honda Japan's sumo wrestling Sensation
Wiz: And Goro Prince of the Shokan
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick
Wiz: And it's our job to anaylse their weapons armour and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle
E. Honda[]
Wiz: Sumo Wrestling the cultural sport in Japan where two insanely strong fighters well wrestle each other there was one man who always wanted to become a Sumo Wrestler Edmond Honda
Boomstick: Born on Nov 3 1960 Edmond would begin his training from childhood in order to become the best Sumo Wrestler in the World and he became insanely strong and tough and achieve his dream
Wiz: However Honda thought that Sumo Wreslting wasn't widespread enough and began to travel around the world in order to promote as well as fight the evil organisation Shadaloo
Boomstick: He would meet many strong fighters and face them in battle sparring with Ryu Sodom and his old friend Hakan it is then said he joined with Hakan to promote more people to join their respective sports of oil wrestling and Sumo wreslting
Wiz: E. Honda is a strong fighter and was one of the Toughest Sumo Wrestlers he has many Abilities and moves he is strong enough to obliterate a car by slapping it and can smash barrels with a single blow
Boomstick: Honda is also pretty durable he's manged to survive falling off a cliff and has smashed through several dojo rooms whilst fighting Zangief
Wiz: He uses Sumo wrestling as his fighting style with a few modifications of his own that may seem pretty Extreme he uses his Strength and bulk to launch slow but heavy hitting blows that can send an opponent reeling whilst crushing them under his weight to deal even more damage to them
Boomstick: Yep I Can see why his fighting moves are seen to be extreme!
Wiz: With the Hundred Hand Slap he well slaps his opponents face at lightning speeds and with the Sumo Headbutt he launches himself through the air hitting the opponent headfirst dealing critical damage
Boomstick: With the Oicho Throw he grabs foes lifts them up then throws them into the ground and slamming them with his bulk afterwards he can also fly at opponents with the Sumo Slam hitting them with his chest and can throw Salt at his opponents
Wiz: The Orochi Crush is when the opponent is grabbed and then is slammed into the ground three times and is crushed by Honda's bulk
Boomstick: He has the Super Hundred Hand Slap which is an advanced version of the normal Slap
Wiz: He can Push opponents then shoulder ram them with the Zuri Fugaku and the Fuji Otoshi allows him to dive at his opponent knock them into the air and hit them with a sumo slam
Boomstick: With the Super Shiko Honda stompts the ground causing a shockwave dealing damage he also has his Super Moves like the Super Killer HeadRam where he charges at his opponent with two Sumo Headbutts pushing them back
Wiz: The Ultimate Killer Head Ram is an advanced version of the Super Head Ram expect Honda slaps his opponents and brings his hand to hit them in the chest and The Orochi Breaker is when Honda throws an opponent into the ground before jumping up and crushing them with his body causing shockwaves
Boomstick: Whilst Honda is a formidable fighter he frequently eats Sushi and is an excellent cook and chef he tried to make Sumo Wreslting an Olympic Sport by becoming part of the Olympic Committee
Wiz: Honda also tried to promote the sport by adding red face paint on his head he has beaten several powerful opponents using his skill and strength
Boomstick: These include Sodom Zangief Balrog and El Feutre and has had a sparring match with Ryu was able to smash a car to pieces just by slapping it and after falling off a cliff he recovered quickly and managed to carry both Balrog and Guile back to the top of the cliff
Wiz: However he has lost to Hakan and struggled against Dhalsim only managing to win because of Dhalsim forfitting while his moves are overwhelming they are pretty slow and can be countered with projectiles
Boomstick: But with his Overwhelming strength and Moveset E. Honda is a formidable sumo wrestler who you don't want to piss off!
E.Honda: It's only natural that a Sumo should become the World's Strongest!
Goro[]
Wiz: Born the son of King Gorbac Goro was eventually asked to participate in the Mortal Kombat Tornament against EarthRealm where he would face off against Earthrealm's greatest warrior Kung Lao
Boomstick: Turns out you have a pretty high chance of winning if you have four arms and super strength Kung Lao learnt that the hard way being killed by Goro
Wiz: Goro would then win nine Mortal Kombat Tornaments in a row however in the tenth Tornament five hundred years later things were diffrent he faced off against Earthrealm's greatest warrior Liu Kang after a hard fight Goro was defeated by Liu Kang
Boomstick: Goro would get into a fight with Sonya Blade Kano and Johnny Cage before escaping he would return to aid his people in a war against the Centaurs however a peace treaty was organised
Wiz: During these arrangements the hat throwing Kung Lao would challenge Goro to a fight in order to avenge the death of his ancestor and wound Goro thus ending the feud between them whilst fighting with his people he would be badly injured by Noob Saibot
Boomstick: He would be saved by Shao Kahn Emperor of Outworld and serve him he would face off against the warrior Taven and lose to him Goro would fight in the Battle of Armaggedon with the forces of darkness and be killed along with everyone else
Wiz: In the next Timeline he would again lose to Liu Kang but also face off against Kung Lao and Cyber Sub-Zero but be defeated by them after Shao Kahn's death Goro would serve under Kotal Kahn the new emperor however he would go to investigate Rekio and Princess Milneena and switch to their side
Boomstick: He would then Kill Kotal K'etz Kotal Kahn's dad Kahn would get enraged and then kill Goro's dad Gorbac not before cutting off Goro's arms these guys are just so brutal
Wiz: Goro would then leave his kingdom as his injures made him unfit to rule and ask for aid from the Red Dragon Clan by giving them the warrior Kenshi Goro was a powerful warrior and has many abilities and moves to use against his opponents Goro is a Shokan which are half human and dragon as a result he can use fire in many of his Attacks
Boomstick: Goro can attack opponents by shooting a green fireball from his hand he can also launch a fireball from each hand throwing four fireballs towards an opponent or shoot them from his mouth he can shoot up to three fireballs in quick succession
Wiz: He typically uses The Shokan fighting style which focuses on utilising his powerful Strength Goro can rip apart foes with his arms and is one of the strongest fighters in the Mortal Kombat Tournament he also uses the Kuatan Fighting Style which is more brutal but prefers the former style over the latter he uses his Agility to pull off devastating Attacks
Boomstick: He can Attack opponents with the Leaping Stomp jumping onto the opponent from a distance crushing them and with the Chest Stomp grabs an opponent with his lower arms before slamming his upper arms against them dealing deadly damage
Wiz: With the Goro Grab he picks up the opponent palming their face with his hand then smashing them against the ground and tossing then away with the Shokan Grab he grabs an opponent with his lower arms punching them in the face six times then slamming them with his arms
Boomstick: The Tremor Pound is when Goro leaps onto the ground or punches it with all of his arms causing an earthquake to occur and with the Spinning Fists attack he flails his fists around hitting his opponents numerous times
Wiz: With the Punch Walk he punches an opponent with his left and right arms dealing large damage and the Taunt is when he roars at his opponent and the Chest Lunge is when he grabs his foe throwing them over his head and into the ground
Boomstick: With Moves like the Ground Fire Goro breathes a fireball at the opponents feet knocking them to the ground Dragon Breath Goro breathes a torrent of flame scorching the enemy
Wiz: Goro wields two Dragon Fangs which can be used as dangerous weapons in order to stab foes with them He can use in them in combination with his fists to deal damage to his opponents in moves like The Shokan Stab and Fang Spin
Boomstick: Goro can perform many fatalies slicing opponents and stabbing them with his Dragon fangs ripping off an opponents head or limbs rip off their limbs then rip them in half
Wiz: Goro is over 2000 years old and was the Champion of the First Mortal Kombat Tournament and remained undefeated for many tournaments was tough enough to shrug off a hit from the Wrath Hammer
Boomstick: Goro has defeated many opponents such as the Great Kung Lao and Kenshi he beat Kotal K'etz by getting Rain to block out the Sun which empowers Kotal's race it also took the combined might of Kano Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage to go up against Goro he was able to kill a guard without his arms that had been chopped off
Wiz: However Goro is extremely cocky which has lead to his defeat on many occasions being defeated by Liu Kang Kung Lao Taven Cyber-Sub Zero and Kotal Kahn having his arms removed him and being humiliated by him
Boomstick: But with his powerful moves and experience Goro is the Prince of the Shokan for a reason and is a formidable opponent
Goro: I will give you a warrior's death
Pre-Death Battle[]
Wiz: All right the combatants are set let's end this debate once and for all
Boomstick: It's time for a Death Battle!
Death Battle[]
In Earthrealm the Tenth Mortal Kombat Tournament was under swing a young warrior Liu Kang had progressed far in the Tournament and had entered the final rounds
Shang Tsung: Ladies and Gentleman Liu Kang has progressed far in the Tournament and will face Goro in the next round
Liu Kang had been beset by Tarkarten hordes and was unable to attend the Tournament
Shang Tsung: Since Liu Kang has failed to attend Earthrealm has thus now forfitted the Tournament..
Raiden: Sorcoror until Liu Kang arrives i propose E. Honda will take his place in the next challenge
Shang Tsung: Huh So be it!
E. Honda moves forward
E. Honda: My victories will help to promote Sumo Wreslting
Shang Tsung: You will face Goro in an Earthrealm Cave
Shang Tsung opens a portal Honda walks in and nods to Raiden and he walks into the portal
He appears in a large cave looking around before he sees a large four-armed Shokan moving towards him It was Goro
Goro: Hmm Is this the best Earthrealm has to offer I would have faced you in my lair but it requested the fight take place on Nerural Ground I will still beat you though
E. Honda: You can try By defeating you I will encourage Sumo Wreslting to be a worldwide sport
Goro: You will try!
E.Honda gets into a fighting postion so does Goro
Fight!
E. Honda runs towards Goro locking one of his fists together with Goro whilst hitting him with the Hundred Hand Slap Goro then punches Honda in the gut with his lower arm Honda shrugs off the Attack headbutting him and kicking Goro who throws a fireball at Honda knocking it aside Honda charges into Goro
Honda Attacks Goro with the Sumo Slam flying into him with his belly knocking him back slightly however Goro uses the Goro Grab grabbing Honda by the face and throwing him into the ground Honda gets up and uses the Sumo Headbutt flying into Goro hitting him in the chest Honda then uses the Hundred Hand Slap slapping Goro across the face
E. Honda: After this mayabe we can get some lunch and I can teach you about Sumo
Goro: Too bad I will defeat you before that!
Honda tries to grapple Goro the two rocking back whilst struggling over the sand in the cave Honda hits Goro but The Shokan uses the Chest Stomp slamming his fists over Honda's back but the Wreslter uses the Zuku Fugaku pushing into Goro who manages to shrug off the push but it is still hit with the shoulder ram Honda continues to try to grapple Goro but pushes him back with another Slap
Goro uses the Shokan Grab punching Honda in the face who breaks free of the attack slapping Goro and enduring a punch to the chest from Goro's lower arm Honda then hits Goro with the Sumo Headbutt causing him to stagger back but stop the incoming Honda's Attack punching him in the face
Goro then kicks Honda slamming his arms against his chest and back whilst Honda elbows Goro in the neck each of Goro's arms move towards Honda at lighting speeds the screen slowed down as each of the punches moved towards Honda Sumo Wreslter blocking the blows from the first arm and but Honda felt a sharp pain in his gut from the next arm however he blocked the third arm with his bulk and stopped the fourth arm with his Palm
Goro: Your stronger than I orignally thought but I will beat you
Honda slapped Goro who blocked the blow with an arm moving the hand away in a painful movement Goro attempted to crush Honda's head Honda headbutted Goro again slamming his knee across Goro's gut the Shokan moved back
Goro enraged spun towards Honda slamming his fists against the Sumo Wreslter who took the blow although he began to buckle back slightly his feet moving back in the sand Honda's face strained but he looked at Goro moving him back and hitting him the Super Hundred Hand Slap hitting him and hammering him with slaps
E. Honda: Now you see my true skill
Goro moves back amazed hitting Honda with the Chest Lunge throwing Honda over him but the sumo wrestler kicks Goro in the face before managing hit the ground though manages to stay up holding back a punch from Goro and responding with a kick to the leg
Goro moves his arm to Honda who is hit by a punch to the side but brings his arm to counter the next punch as he hits Goro in the chest with his other arm Goro brings his punches to Honda's side as a clash of Giants erupts
E. Honda threw punches to Goro's Side but the Shokan Countered attacking with his fists Honda readied his hands to counter time slowed down
A punch landed to Goro's chest However a punch also landed on Honda's side

Another punch could be heard this time hitting Goro in chest
....
...
Honda punched Goro again but felt a Sharp pain in his side each fist then landed on Honda's side the sumo began to fall back inhaling and exhaling he looked up
...
For a brief Moment Honda moved his fist moving it up
...
Until
...
Suddenly
...
Crunch!
Honda uppercutted Goro he moved his head shocked and was punched in the chest Goro spat out blood and Honda grabbed his arm and tossing him into the ground with an Orochi Throw and landing on top of him with his bulk
Goro: Urggh Your pathetic
E. Honda: Stay down my sumo skill surpasses your ability monster
Goro: You've got a lot to learn
Honda slapped Goro who shrugged it off the landing a punch to Honda's cheek and chest causing him to spit out blood Goro spin into the warrior trying overwhelm him with blows whilst trying to overpower him Honda regained control punching Goro although the Shokan dodged the Attack punching Honda with two of his arms knocking him back
Honda recovered charging at Goro with a Fuji OtoshI knocking into Goro who was forced backwards but managed to grab Honda as they rolled throughout the cave engaging in an exchange of fists
Goro punched Honda knocking him up whilst Honda kicked Goro in the nose
Crack!
The two fell to the floor but then leapt up ready for the final clash Honda charged at Goro trying to grapple him but the Warrior grabbed him by the legs and throwing him to the ground Honda stood up trying to activate the Slap but Goro kicked at him followed by shooting a torrent fire at Honda damaging his shoulder Honda injured leapt at Goro using a Otochi Crusher Goro being slammed into the ground three times Honda tried to crush Goro but the Prince landed a blow the Sumo causing him to land on Goro's higher left arm fracturing it
Honda: You are no match for my Sumo Skill
Goro threw a punch at Honda hitting him in the gut the Sumo getting annoyed and flying at Goro with a Sumo Headbutt Goro staggered back as the two tried to overwhelm each other with punches and kicks
Honda kicked at Goro who deflected the Attack before being punched by Honda Goro uppercutted Honda and punched him several times the Sumo warrior countering but ultimately being pushed back
Honda leapt at Goro leaping across the cave stretching out his foot to use the Super Shiko whilst Goro countered to using the Tremor Pound punching the ground with his three fists the two forces met
BOOM!
The two were sent flying back Honda fell against the cave wall he moved up recovering quickly but seeing blood flow from his back Goro charged at Honda slamming him with his fists though Honda blocked punching Goro who shot a fireball at Honda's arm then shooting a fireball at Honda's feet knocking him onto the ground putting his hands on the ground
Goro: Time to fall to my might!
Honda: Not while I can help it!
Honda launched a Sumo Headbutt Goro was launched into the air as Honda drove into him Goro hitting the cave ceiling and damaging his neck Goro fell back Honda launched a Super Killer Head Ram moving towards Goro until he threw a fireball hitting Honda in the face he fell to the floor crashing against the sand
Goro slashed at Honda with his fangs drawing blood and shooting fireballs at him Honda dodged them kicking Goro and launching an Ultimate Killer Head Ram launching Goro across the room they hit the ground with Honda slapping Goro and driving his hand against his chest
Goro: My fighting ability has meant the end of you
Honda: Not .. while.. I .. Can help it
Honda dodges Attacks from Goro He is slashed by Goro but punches him throws him to the ground and jumps into the air touching the ceiling and landing towards Goro
Crash!
Goro's ribs crack as Honda crushes lands on him Goro and Honda get up the cave begins to collapse rocks falling beside them Honda tries to go near Goro to defeat him but the rocks hit him on the neck and injured Shoulder
Honda throws a rock at Goro Who shrugs it off Honda is hit by several fireballs in a last attempt he then lifts a throws a massive Boulder towards Goro
Honda: Take.. This
Goro punches the Rock with three of his arms sending it flying towards Honda
Honda: What!
The Boulder hits Honda pinning him leaving crushed against the ground Goro rips Honda's head and arms off a pile of boulders fall on Honda burying his body
Goro: Ha you were pathetic I'm unbeatable
Liu Kang: Not for me Shokan yield
Goro: Urgh
Goro tries to punch Liu Kang but is kicked by Liu Kang
K.O!!
Results[]
Boomstick: That was brutal let's watch it again!
Wiz: This was a close match however Goro takes the win for several reasons in terms of Strength their pretty evenly matched however Goro is strong enough to break bones and rip people in half and kill a Guard without his arms though Honda can definitely can contend with him
Boomstick: In terms of Durability their pretty even Honda having smashed through several rooms whilst fighting Zangief and Goro taking hits from the Wrath Hammer and surivived having his arms cut off
Wiz: Experience wise Goro takes it he has won nine Mortal Kombat Tornaments over 500 years and has defeated more dangerous opponents than Honda has such as Kotal K'etz and Kenshi which outmatches anyone Honda has beaten
Boomstick: Both may be pretty matched in speed and Agility but Goro is slightly faster as his moves don't take as long for him to pull off whilst Honda needs to put in more energy into his Attacks which enables Goro to counter attack
Wiz: Goro's fireballs were used to weaken Honda whilst he was charging at the Shokan whilst Goro realized this he could use this along with his Dragon Fangs against Honda these Abilities and weapons also are more unpredictable than Honda's moves which are fairly similar to one another
Boomstick: But Wiz Goro is extremely arrogant Honda should have been able to use this against him
Wiz: While this may have allowed Honda to take the advantage through the fight Goro can defintely tank his abuse and turn the fight around before he lands in trouble Goro's arms allowed him to get past Honda's defences and wear him down allowing Goro to beat him
Boomstick: Looks like Goro was rocking throughout this fight and made sure Honda wasn't heading to victory!
Wiz: The Winner is Goro
