Description[]

The sweet, bloody taste of vengeance- one so pungent not even the loss of limbs can stop it. Which of these one-armed sword wielders will attain the justice they seek or die trying?

Interlude[]

(* Wiz & Boomstick - Brandon Yates*)

Wiz: Peace- the eternal, unreachable end goal to reach for a world free of conflict and hatred. Those that continue to throw away the idea that this can be reached are doomed to spread the cynical cycle of hatred to those they affect.

Boomstick: And when you take an arm off one of them and put a sword in the other arm, don't be surprised if they come back looking for payback.

Wiz: Dunban, Colony 9's hero of Sword Valley from Xenoblade Chronicles.

Boomstick: And Baiken, Guilty Gear's vengeful one-armed ronin. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!

Wiz: And it's our jobs to analyse their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle!

Additional Notes[]

The connections between Dunban and Baiken are that they are both sword wielders who lost the use of their right arm, who's lives in a peaceful colony during a time of war would be cut short by the invading race of artificial superweapons their species were at war with (the Mechon and the Gears respectively), with both swearing revenge on the leader of this invasion after they killed their loved ones (Dunban swearing revenge on Metal Face after he killed his sister, Baiken swearing revenge on That Man for killing her entire family), with both suffering an additional loss in this encounter (Dunban losing his use of the Monado and Baiken losing her eye respectively). Several encounters with their sworn nemeses and the efforts of a naive but passionate pursuer of knowledge (Shulk and Anji respectively) would eventually be enough to quell their bloodlust. This is also a battle of opposites. Dunban's desire for vengeance is hidden behind his stalwart, gentlemanly attitude that leads to him acting like a mentor figure to his piers, while Baiken is a lone wolf that actively shows hostility towards others for getting in the way of her quest for revenge.
