History[]
Dudley Do-Right is a rather dim-witted member of The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). But, he is also extremely contentious and unfailingly cheerful. He serves in a remote RCMP fort, under the command of Inspector Nathaniel Fenwick, keeping law and order.
The biggest source of lawbreaking and disorder is Do-Right’s chief rival, Snidely Whiplash. When he is working a new scheme, Inspector Fenwick sends Dudley to deal with him. In spite of his incompetence, Do-Right is almost always successful, bringing in Whiplash, and getting his man.
Sadly for Do-Right, he does not seem to be able to get his woman, the love of his life, Nell Fenwick, the charming daughter of Inspector Fenwick. While Do-Right loves Nell, Nell is in love with Dudley’s horse.
At one point, Dudley was drummed out of the Mounted Police for eating his peas with a knife, something that the Mounties consider intolerable. Do-Right’s horse was also forced out at the same time, because it was his knife that Dudley used. Later, though, Dudley earned his way back into the Mounties.

- Toon force - When fired at by Nasty Noogle, in the episode, "The Inspector’s Nephew", Dudley was filled with holes, but was otherwise unhurt.

Faults and Weaknesses[]
- Dudley is easily confused. Once, he put on Snidely Whiplash’s top hat and cape, and became convinced that he was Snidely Whiplash, and began acting accordingly. He nearly broke Snidely’s record for tying old ladies to train tracks, before he was captured by Snidely Whiplash – in Dudley’s uniform.
