Drill-X[]
Wario: What happens if you turned Skrillex into a drilling machine?
Waluigi: A lawsuit?
Wario: Well- I- I mean you get Drill-X. The machine designed to dig up the Lost City of Arkus for Kaos and spit bars.
Waluigi: And grill burgers!
Wario: Considering his affiliation with Kaos, it’s no wonder he was designed to fight off Skylanders with his huge drill. Using attacks like sweeping the floor with the drill, forcing Skylanders to use bounce pads to jump over it, plain smashing the drill into the ground, or firing lasers.
Waluigi: That doesn’t seem very drill related! Anyways, he can also slam rocks rocks into the arena, or drill so fast shockwaves are created from the ground, along with rocks being thrown everywhere! He can also summon Enfuego Chompies and those walking mask things.
Wario: As Grill-X he can use giant butcher knives, stab with giant two pronged forks, or pour giant hot sauce bottles to create maleshift, yet very tasty with steak, lava.
Waluigi: Chill out with the food gushing dude. Anyways, Drill-X can take hits from Giant Skylanders, who can move giant floating islands with just chains!
Wario: He also survived his drill being destroyed, causing him to crash into the drilling rig.
Waluigi: Drill-X can go through steel with no trouble, along with making it really hot, so that should say a bit on how strong and durable that bolty boy really is!
Wario: In terms of intelligence, we know Drill-X is sentient as he sings to express himself.
Waluigi: So grilling was his calling in life? Huh, who knew.
Wario: He’s also able to cook food perfectly, judging by Grill-X’s Big BBQ. So his intelligence is seemingly pretty high.
Waluigi: Too bad he’s almost immobile.
Wario: Contrary to popular belief, we do see him move during his fight, his nubs for legs can only get him so far.
Waluigi: Just like your legs Wario!
Wario: At least mine wouldn’t snap from closing a door on them!
Waluigi: You wanna take this outside?!
Wario: *Sigh*, we’ve gotta finish this segment. Drill-X’s biggest weaknesses are immobility, his drill being his weak point and his giant ego.
Waluigi: His ego is bigger then him!
Wario: And his drill is left vulnerable after his attacks.
Waluigi: But still, he’s as strong at combat as he is as rapping!
“It’s the end of the track, Skylander! This drill-bot is on the scene!”
Mettaton[]
Wario: Mettaton is someone who is… very hard to put into words actually.
Waluigi: He’s an egomaniac robot who ultimately just wants to entertain people, not just monster people, but human people! As such he tries to steal Frisk’s soul through comically violent “shows” he’s set up. Man, why couldn’t we get shows like these?
Wario: Throughout these shows, Mettaton uses homing lasers, a chainsaw, flight, and bombs of various shapes and sizes. During his fight, he uses boxes and bombs, along with lightning, and little Mettatons on parasols.
Waluigi: He can also bust through walls and take a serious beating with no reaction. But that’s not the tip of the iceberg with Mettaton, we’ve gotta talk about EX.
Wario: After the switch on his back is flipped, Mettaton will reveal his true self as Mettaton EX, a humanoid robot most notable for his legs. Said legs are a very effective weapon, being able to be sent en masse… somehow.
Waluigi: He can also shoot more bombs and boxes. But he gains arms that can be sent en masse like the legs, the ability to rewind his attacks and send them backwards, a disco ball that forces the opponent to stop moving and Heart to Heart, where he activated his “Soul”, and shoots lightning in either a circular or straight line pattern.
Wario: There’s also Mettaton NEO… It exists.
Waluigi: Mettaton EX’s defense plummets from box Mettaton’s, as he takes actual damage from Frisk’s attacks as EX, and has negative defence as NEO!
Wario: Mettaton is quite smart, as he designed the death traps during his show, along with creating the puzzle both he and Papyrus use.
Waluigi: In terms of speed, he can keep up with Frisk, who can dodge lightning! That’s pretty fast.
Wario: There’s also the fact that Frisk can move even faster with Sea Tea, and Mettaton also likely has infinite stamina as he’s a robot being controlled by a ghost.
Waluigi: So does this sexy legged robot have any weaknesses?
Wario: Yep, as he is extremely vain, to the point of hearing about a mirror being enough to distract him. EX and NEO also have far lower defences then his box form, which is especially notable in his NEO form. His EX form is also prone to falling apart from extended use, as seen during his pacifist fight. Finally, there’s his Happy Breaktime! and union-regulated break “attacks”, which don’t do anything.
Waluigi: But despite all that, Mettaton is still a kick ass murdering machine!
“I'll make your last living moments... ABSOLUTELY beautiful!”
DEATH BATTLE[]
Location: Drill-X’s Big Rig
After defeating the human, Mettaton had claimed their soul, and even broke the barrier with it. The soul broke afterwards, but it didn’t matter now. He was free to perform for humans. Mettaton had to admit, it looked a lot different from how he pictured it, but oh well.
After reaching the top of the spire, he found a giant sentient drill humming as he worked.
“Hello, my son to be new fan! What are you doing?”
Drill-X stopped digging and looked at the box robot, before looking at a piece of paper, originally giving him instructions, but now mostly replaced by lyrics. The paper told him
“If someone not affiliated with me comes here, murder them. PS: Return the Boombox after you finish please.” Drill-X clears his throat afterwards and begins to sing.
“You’re at the end of the rope Skylander! This drill-bot is cleaning house! There’s no time time for me to meander! Soon you’ll be quieter then a mouse!” Followed by Drill-X preparing to slam his drill down, Mettaton prepares to dodge.
“My, my! What unsportsmanlike attitude!”
FIGHT![]
Drill-X slams the drill down, with Mettaton gracefully dodging it, followed by him shooting a box at the drill, hurting the owner. Drill-X then heats the drill up and slides it forwards, with the red hot drill grazing Mettaton’s side before he could use a jump pad.
“It’ll take a lot more then that darling|~” Mettaton taunts, with Drill-X sending out a swarm of flaming Chompies. A few of them nip Mettaton’s arms and wheel, only for mini Mettatons to take them out, causing the other Chompies to fight with them, causing them to take each other out.
Drill-X starts digging, sending out shockwaves that Mettaton dodges, even getting a bunch of bombs to smash into the drill, only for him to get pelted by rocks. Even still Mettaton wasn’t very harmed, until he was turned around and his switch got flipped by a stray rock.
“Oh my, did you just. Flip my… Switch?”
After a flash of white, Mettaton was changed from a box the the humanoid robot everyone knows and loves.
“I’ve been meaning to show this off!~” Mettaton proudly states, while Drill-X readies a second verse.
“So you’ve changed forms, Skylander. And you’ve messed with my drill. But the drill is killer! And he’s ready for the kill!”
“You used killer and kill right next to each other?”
“It was on the fly.”
Segment 2[]
Mettaton sends various legs out of the ground, trying to hit Drill-X in the face, only for him to bounce them off unharmed. Mettaton then fires a lightning bolt from his Soul at the drill, shocking Drill-X and making him stab at Mettaton, who still dodges gracefully.
Angered, the big rig’s star attraction fires a laser, sends Enfuego Chompies, and then slams down, with Mettaton getting blindsided by the laser and held down by the chompies, the drill hit him directly, dealing lots of damage to him. After regaining himself, Mettaton fires a huge combination of lightning, bombs, boxes, and Mini-Mettatons, doing a lot of damage to Drill-X, and Mettaton follows up by kicking the drill.
Drill-X drops a butchers knife, chopping Mettaton’s arms off.
“You may have gotten my arms but… Who needs arms with legs like these~?” Mettaton, boisterous as ever, proclaims. Following this up, he sends several legs towards the drill, but they get destroyed by rocks. Drill-X then attempts to hot sauce on the entertainer, but it’s dodged. Several Enfuego Chompies and mask guys attack Mettaton, but they get destroyed by a circular wave of electricity. Mettaton then kicks the drill, backflipping away.
The drill fires a laser at Mettaton, which connects and sizzles against the shiny metal body of Mettaton. The armless one fired electricity at the drill once more, but the burning beasts jump in the way.
“Get-get-getting your goons to take the hit for you, eh?” Mettaton then sends out a bunch of minis to block many rocks and shockwaves being sne towards him, before kicking a rock at Drill-X.
“Hold on, time out Skylander! There’s something up with my drill! But the drill won’t surrender, till the Skylander I finally manage to kill!”
Drill-X fires three lasers, one almost hits Mettaton, while the other two miss completely. Mettaton attempts to kick Drill-X, but he slams his drill down just too fast, leaving Mettaton wide open. Many rocks and shockwaves collide, leaving him completely limbless.
“Haha, look Skylander! Is that all you got? Got no more time to pander, so I’m shutting down this bot!” Drill-X taunts, preparing to slam down at Mettaton.
“There-there-there is still one more tri-tric-k I have lef-t-t!”
The screen fades to white as Mettaton becomes…
Segment 3[]
Mettaton NEO!
Mettaton NEO prepares a super laser, but Drill-X smashes him, killing him immediately.
“That was… anticlimactic.”
KO!
Results[]
Waluigi: And that’s that!
Wario: From the get-go, Mettaton was already in a bad spot. Drill-X had overwhelmingly taken every stat except speed, where Mettaton was leagues ahead. So this fight was like a human fighting a fly.
Waluigi: A big, robotic drill human vs an average sized laser shooting fly.
Wario: One hit would’ve taken out Mettaton, since Drill-X can tank hits from Giants, who are able to move mountains with just chains. It was only a matter of time until Mettaton got caught.
Waluigi: The winner is Drill-X!
