Battle Record

Transform
- The user can transform into anything or anyone it chooses, so long as it has an idea of what it's transforming into, copying every characteristic of it
- This means it can know almost every Pokémon move and more
Struggle
- A weak flailing attack, damages Ditto a lot

Limber
- Is immune to paralysis
Imposter
- Can immediately transform into its opponent without using Transform

Can copy every Pokémon in the world, including legendary Pokémon
Can also copy inorganic matter like stones & books
Can copy other Pokémon it remembers by memory without need of the respective Pokémon to be in place
Can transform into complex things like weaponry, e.g. a cannon
A trained Ditto can overwhelm the opponent it copies by making better use of the copied skills
Blocked hits from Deoxys clones by turning into a shield
Copied Meowth's ability to talk

Less experienced Ditto can commit errors during transformation, like failing to copy the size of the Pokémon it's copying
Copying other Pokémon by memory can result in errors
Ditto can only use moves the thing it transforms into can use
Its memory is bad and its intelligence is somewhat lacking, often resulting in it simply transforming into things it sees instead of more appropriate choices simply because it can't think of something better to do
- This can be offset by having a trainer to tell it what to do
Weak to Fighting-types
Its disguise can fall if it laughs or relaxes
If it lacks information about a target's abilities, it will not be able to use them
- Was able to copy Mew & Deoxys in the manga, but couldn't use their moves
Seemingly maintains its composition or texture when transforming
- When Ditto turned into Togepi, Misty claimed "it doesn't feel just like Togepi"
