History[]
During the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Separatist Alliance, Din was but a child when Separatist forces attacked his village, killing everyone in sight. His parents, before also falling victim to the overwhelming droids, hid Din in an underground hatch. However, a Super Battle Droid discovered him, and prepared to end his life. Unexpectedly, Din was saved by the Mandalorian splinter cell known as Death Watch, who pushed back the droids and rescued the newly-orphaned child. Din was later inducted into the Mandalorian creed, following the ways of the Children of the Watch and swearing to never remove his helmet in front of others. The once helpless boy became a feared bounty hunter, known to outsiders as the Mandalorian.
Years later, Din would be commissioned by an Imperial Remnant to retrieve a crucial target, only to discover that it was a small child with the ability to use the Force. He handed him over to the Imperials, but then rescued him as he had unexpectedly bonded with the child. Betraying the Bounty Hunter's Guild, Din set out to return the child to its own kind, the longtime enemies of the Mandalorians known as the Jedi.
