Diego is a male sabertooth tiger who mainly appears in the ice age movies, also a tritagonist of the series. In the first ice age movie, we are introduced to Diego as part of a tribe with the leader of the group Soto. when the group sees a pack of humans living peacefully Diego was ordered to get the baby instead but failed when the mother sacrifices herself just so the baby could live and not be hunted by the group of sabertooth tigers. Diego later became as a tritagonist for manny and sid.
