- The connections between Deathwing and King Ghidorah are that they are ancient draconic monsters that are alien in some way (Deathwing being empowered by aliens/King Ghidorah being an alien) who oppose more massive monsters on their quest to destroy the world. Both were however beaten up by a large, reptilian creature (Gruul/Godzilla) and were soon rebuilt with metal parts to enhance their strength. Their flying can create natural disasters and other catastrophes and their main attacks are natural forces shown as elements (Deathwing has a force attack that appears as fire/Ghidorah has gravity beams that appear as electricity). Even after their deaths, they went on to corrupt even more monsters in their wake (The Black Dragonflight/Monsterverse Godzilla)
