Wiz: The assassin Deathstroke...
Boomstick: Versus the man with no fear, Daredevil.
Wiz: These two have some of the best senses in the world, and it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor & skills to see who'd win a death battle.
Deathstroke[]
Wiz: Ever since he was a boy, Slade Wilson always wanted to be in the military. So much that he lied about his age just to get in!
Boomstick: That boys determined!
Wiz: Slade quickly became better than literally EVERYONE at the camp. This was noticed by an army leader (don't remember the rank) named Adeline King, who would later become his wife. Anyway, he joined her special forces team and quickly impressed her. So much so that she promoted him to Lieutenant.
Boomstick: That was quick.
Wiz: Slade married Adeline and they soon had their first son who later became the first Ravenger. Slade offered to be a Guinea pig for a testing of a super soldier serum---
Boomstick: Like Captain America!
Wiz: Exactly. Slade discovered his strength & speed were far above a normal human being. A friend of Slade's from the army was kidnapped by terrorists so Slade put together a costume a rescued his friend. This was unauthorized by the army and he was kicked out.
Boomstick: That was a stupid move.
Wiz: With nothing to do, Slade became the mercanary/Assassin Deathstroke. When his wif found out she shot him through the back of the head. Thanks to his healing factor, Slade only lost his left eye.
Boomstick: That's just messed up.
Wiz: Deathstroke's personality is often very violent since he'll do literally ANYTHING for money. Sometimes he can be one of the good guys, an anti-hero or just a villian (What he usually is).
Boomstick: Since he's a villain, who is his enemies?
Wiz: Deathstroke often faces off against the Teen Titans, Nightwing, Batman and even the Justice League!
Boomstick: Wow.
Wiz: The super soldier serum gives Slade: Super strength, speed, agility, durability & Intellect. Deathstroke also has an immense healing factor. Regular human beings

Introduction[]
Koopa: In a world where men can fly, possess superhuman strength unlike any other and protect the planet or even universe on a daily basis, some need neither to stand out from the crowd.
Neo: Daredevil, Marvel’s Devil of Hell's Kitchen!
Bubbles: And Deathstroke, DC’s one-eyed terminator.
Neo: He’s Koopa, she’s Bubbles, and I’m Neo!
Koopa: And it’s our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win…
Koopa, Bubbles and Neo: A DEATH BATTLE!!!
Daredevil[]
Koopa: Matthew Murdock was your average kid. Being raised by a single father who just so happened to be a professional boxer, young Matt’s life was rough, but was raised in a loving home.
Neo: Wanting to become strong like his dear old pops, Matt trained with his father’s exercise equipment in secret, becoming extremely acrobatic and strong. This would all come in handy when he saw, ironically enough, a blind old man about to be hit by an oncoming truck.
Bubbles: Matthew sprung into action and pushed the man out of the way before he could get hit, but the truck just so happened to be carrying chemicals that flew onto Matt’s face. These chemicals got into his eyes, and from there on, Matt would be permanently blind.
Neo: Talk about getting your lights knocked out.
Koopa: Still, Matt didn’t let this new disability get in the way of his studies. He graduated with flying colors, and even went into Law School and succeeded there. Things were starting to look up for Matt… until tragedy struck once more.
Bubbles: Matt’s father was killed by a mobster after refusing to throw a match for him, leaving Matt an orphan. Grieving over his dead father, Murdock donned a suit that resembled a demon and became what some would consider the Man Without Fear, Daredevil.
Neo: Typically when someone goes blind, their brain rewrites itself and enhances its other senses, but as it turns out, those chemicals that hit Matt multiplied that by like, a hundred! His touch, hearing, taste and smell are all so powerful, he can use them to sense the world around him rather than see! He can sense people around him just by feeling a disturbance in the air, read books just by feeling the ink patterns on paper, taste every ingredient in a food or drink, or track down someone like a bloodhound. Seriously, who needs sight when you can just sense everything around you?
Koopa: However, being a superhero, Matt has more to him than just genetic powers. He trained under a fellow blind man named Stick in over 13 different martial arts, and learned to maneuver around his surroundings arguably better than those with working eyes.
Bubbles: However, Daredevil doesn’t even need all of his senses to function; he can use a sort of radar that can paint a mental picture of his surroundings using electromagnetic energy waves which bounce off of objects to create that picture.
Neo: So it’s like he never even lost his sight!
Koopa: Daredevil also comes packing with tons of weapons and gear. His devil suit is bulletproof, shockproof and fireproof, and his choice of weapon is a Billy Club. This multipurpose cane can turn into a bo staff, nunchaku, two batons or even a blade.
Neo: He even took a page out of Captain America’s book and can bounce his batons off of walls and have them return right back to him!
Bubbles: Needless to say, Daredevil is incredibly powerful in his own right, and was even able to balance being a superhero by night with the job of a lawyer by day. He’s beaten tough opponents like Iron Fist, Spider-Man, Wolverine and Luke Cage, taken hits from even tougher ones like the Hulk or Bruiser, dodge lightning from Electro and even hit a bullet back at someone when being shot at.
Koopa: Matt’s also survived a nitroglycerin explosion. Given the height of Daredevil and the flask that contained the chemicals, he must’ve survived just over 2 megatons of TNT. Daredevil is a tough opponent for sure, but while his senses are his greatest strength, they’re also his greatest weakness.
Neo: Yeah, if any of Daredevil’s senses are overloaded, it can shut off his other ones and leave him incredibly vulnerable, so throwing him in a room full of grandma candles or making him eat sour candy are solid strategies!
Bubbles: Regardless, Daredevil was able to turn his life around and go from a helpless blind little kid to one of the deadliest superheroes who doesn’t even need to see you to take you down.
Daredevil: I'm not trying to be a hero. I'm just a guy that got fed up with men like you, and I decided to do something about it.
Deathstroke[]
Neo: Batman villains are weird. Seriously, you’ve got this grizzled badass who’s arguably the greatest detective in the DC universe, and he fights a clown, a giant crocodile, and a dude literally called the Penguin.
Koopa: Well, you might fancy this villain, Neo.
Neo: Finally, a badass assassin fit for a man in tights!
Bubbles, clearing her throat: Slade Wilson joined the United States Military in his teenage years, lying about his age to join. After serving in the Korean War, he caught the attention of his higher-ups and was assigned to Camp Washington, where he met and won the heart of Captain Adeline Kane.
Neo: Oh great, so he’s not only a Deadpool ripoff, but a Captain America ripoff too?
Bubbles: Deathstroke actually came before Deadpool, though I could see the Captain America parallels.
Koopa: Either way, Slade’s mastery of every fighting style under Adeline’s belt earned him the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. And eventually, not even a year later, Slade and Adeline got married and was expecting their first child.
Neo: Feeling pretty good about himself, he volunteered for a medical experiment that hoped to help him resist enemy truth serums. But being that nothing can go right in comic books, Slade fell into a coma, but when he woke up, his strength, speed, durability and intelligence skyrocketed and molded him into a badass super soldier!
Koopa: He was considered a terminator, and known by the world as Deathstroke.
Bubbles: But wait, we’re not quite done with his story just yet. While Slade became a powerful assassin in his own right, his newfound strength was put to the test when his son was kidnapped by a group of mercenaries. While the mission went successfully, the situation left his son mute, losing his ability to speak. Out of rage, his wife shot his eye out.
Neo: Should’ve listened, Ralphie! Anyways, from there on, Slade would prove himself to be one of the deadliest assassins in the DC universe!
Bubbles: Alongside his enhanced strength, speed and durability, Slade can process information 9 times faster than an ordinary human. This means he can think quicker, react quicker and even see things at a faster rate.
Neo: Wait, how does that even work?
Bubbles: I… have no idea.
Koopa: Either way, Deathstroke has an insane amount of stamina and can keep fighting for as long as he wants. However, his healing factor is where his superhuman abilities are put to the test. He can survive stabs, gunshots, broken bones and even foreign chemicals and diseases; the healing is so strong, he can come back to life after being shot in the head and having his heart cut in half.
Neo: Slade is certainly a tough assassin to pin down, but what’s an assassin without their weapons? Dual machine guns, sniper rifles, grenades and a thermal lense in his mask. This dude even carries a sword! How badass is that?!
Bubbles: This sword made out of Promethium can cut through cars with ease, and was used to take out Cyborg. Aside from this, he even has an energy staff that can shoot lasers that can destroy a helicopter in just one blast.
Koopa: With these impressive abilities in his arsenal, Deathstroke became one of the most feared tacticians in the world. He’s gotten shot by a machine gun and kept fighting, dodged a point-blank rocket launcher shot, and defeated multiple members of the Justice League and the Teen Titans, like Batman, Green Arrow, Robin and Beast Boy.
Neo: He even shattered this window which had missile proof glass, meaning he can technically hit harder than a MISSILE. Think about that for a second.
Bubbles: Deathstroke is a powerful opponent, but he’s nowhere near invincible. His healing factor can be stopped by decapitation and his organ restoration can take up to days, meaning that he can lose tons of time in missions.
Koopa: Also, Slade’s known to burst into fits of rage which can often help him in fights, but can be a detriment in others. Still, Deathstroke proved himself to be a tough match even for someone as powerful as Batman. Most who meet Deathstroke won’t live to see him again.
Slade: You cannot die until you have suffered the same way I have suffered, until you have known complete despair.
Interlude[]
Koopa: Alright, the combatants are set, let’s end this debate once and for all!
Neo: It’s time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!
Pre Fight[]
On a rainy night at an abandoned warehouse often used as trading places for the city’s criminal exchanges, a semi truck could be seen driving into the vicinity of the trading location. The two henchmen got out and went to the back to grab the supplies needed. However, when they opened up, a man could be seen standing in front of the door. The red-clad man jumped and knocked the two men out, throwing their unconscious bodies into the back of the truck. Daredevil closed the door and made his way up to the top of the warehouse where several lights had been on. As he made his way into the building and onto the rafters, he saw the men talking amongst themselves, becoming anxious as to when the men would arrive with the supplies.
Suddenly, a sniper rifle shot pierced the air and left a man with a massive bullet wound right between his eyes. A man in orange and gray dropped from the ceiling and fought the men in the building, having very little trouble with each of them despite being outnumbered. As the last man witnessed the might of Deathstroke, he began to run out of the building, but was caught by Daredevil jumping onto him and pinning him to the ground with his foot. The two mysterious assassins stared one another down.
Slade noticed Matt's lack of eye contact.
Deathstroke: You can’t even look me in the eyes, can you?
Daredevil couldn’t help but chuckle.
Daredevil: Well, do I have a surprise for you.
FIGHT!
Fight[]
Deathstroke and Daredevil ran at one another, the two trading and dodging blows from one another with Slade kicking Matt backwards. He pulled out a pistol and began firing, though Matt was able to dodge every shot to attack Deathstroke and knock Slade backwards, allowing him to pull out a baton and strike Slade multiple times. Before delivering a last hit, Slade was able to block his attack by grabbing his wrist and pulling him over his shoulder, slamming him on the ground. Daredevil quickly stood, but his arm was still being held by Slade, only to be pulled in for a clothesline. Finally free from Slade’s grip, Daredevil blocked most of Slade’s punches with his baton, finally getting a good hit on Slade and temporarily stunning him.
Deathstroke recuperated and took another fighting stance. He took out his staff, and the red superhero combined his batons and smirked. The two charged at one another again, the two colliding strikes with their respective staves. Daredevil locked their staves together and gave a swift underkick to Deathstroke’s groin, hitting him with swift strikes once his defenses were down. However, Deathstroke quickly blocked and hit Daredevil with a flurry of staff attacks, spinning it and hitting him with the tip of it and ending it off with an energy blast that sent Daredevil flying backwards onto the back of a car.
Deathstroke took out his sniper rifle and aimed it and Daredevil, firing. Daredevil was able to move out of the way in time and dodge more incoming non-scoped shots by Slade, finally disarming him and delivering harsh strikes with his batons. Deathstroke attempted to use his staff again, but Daredevil blocked his strike and trapped him, using his leg to break the staff in half. Slade had one last option; his sword. He took it out and took a stance. Daredevil heard the subtle sound of steel sheathing.
Daredevil: What are you?
Deathstroke: Death.
Slade quickly slashed at Daredevil, though he was able to dodge nearly every strike just barely. Deathstroke was getting more and more angry with every missed strike, becoming slower and more vulnerable. He roared in anger, bringing his sword down on the ground as Daredevil kicked him away once more. He landed on his feet, and Deathstroke quickly ran at Daredevil, attempting to end it quickly as he brought his sword down, though Daredevil was able to take one of his now-seperated batons and bounce it against a nearby support beam and hit Deathstroke in the back of his head, stunning him momentarily. Daredevil finally recombined his batons and brought out the blade, quickly cutting at Deathstroke’s neck. Deathstroke held his neck and fell back, seemingly dead. Daredevil walked over and put his foot on his chest, waiting for his heart to stop beating.
Daredevil: Can I tell you a secret? I’ve done this whole fight with my eyes closed.
Deathstroke suddenly spoke up, the cut from his neck disappearing.
Deathstroke: And you’ll keep them closed.
Deathstroke took out his Super Bomb and let it roll on the ground next to him. He protected his face as Daredevil noticed the sound of a small, iron object rolling on the ground. Daredevil attempted to kick it away, but it went off as soon as it left the ground. His ears rang loudly; the outlines of the world faded away, and he could feel himself losing all control. Deathstroke quickly stood and grabbed his sword, swinging it cleanly through Daredevil’s neck as his head flew off of his shoulders, his body dropping to the floor soon after.
Deathstroke put away his sword and looked back at his newly dead target.
Post Fight[]
K.O!
Neo: Well, looks like there’s a new chef in Hell’s Kitchen!
Koopa: This was an interesting fight, for sure. Both Daredevil and Deathstroke possess similar amplified senses, though Matt’s might be slightly more advanced due to his radar sense. However, Deathstroke held the advantage in more categories than Daredevil could handle.
Neo: While Daredevil trained since he was a kid with a blind old man, Deathstroke trained in the military and has been kicking ass ever since. Plus, Daredevil has that whole lawyer gig going on, while killing people is pretty much Slade’s primary job.
Bubbles: Daredevil may be strong enough to bust concrete, but Deathstroke was able to destroy missile-proof glass with just his staff. Daredevil was able to react fast enough to fire a bullet back at someone, but Deathstroke was able to dodge a rocket point blank and tag Kid Flash, who is fast enough to run from California to France in nearly half a second.
Koopa: And while Daredevil’s hyperactive senses allowed him to keep track of Deathstroke for a good majority of the fight, meaning that he didn’t necessarily have any real handicap, Slade is a master tactician, and had plenty of options for overloading his senses and landing the killing blow.
Neo: And while beating opponents like Iron Fist or Luke Cage are no easy feat whatsoever, Deathstroke has wins against opponents like Batman and Nightwing, and tanked hits from DC’s toughest opponents like Wonder Woman and Superboy.
Bubbles: In the end, Daredevil put up a good fight, and was a worthy opponent for Deathstroke, but he just couldn’t compare to Slade’s strength, speed and superior arsenal.
Neo: It ultimately didn’t MATTer, because Daredevil would eventually be SLADE! Get it? Haha… damn, I’m good.
Koopa: The winner is Deathstroke.

Neo: Next time on Death Battle!
From the clouds could be seen a giant warship with a familiar mask-shaped symbol on the front. The main decks seemed to be empty, though a small, red flash appeared outside of the ship, and a similarly familiar red suited hero with a shield could be seen standing. Right behind him was a smaller figure wrapped up in his cape. The figure undid his cape as the screen quickly cut to black as soon as he was revealed.

Alternate Ending[]
Deathstroke took out his Super Bomb and let it roll on the ground next to him. He protected his face as Daredevil noticed the sound of a small, iron object rolling on the ground. Daredevil attempted to kick it away, but it went off as soon as it left the ground. His ears rang loudly; the outlines of the world faded away, and he could feel himself losing all control. Deathstroke quickly stood and grabbed his sword, though Daredevil's vision reappeared just in the nick of time, allowing him to dodge Deathstroke's attack and kick him away.
Daredevil grabbed his batons and clashed with Deathstroke again, but Matt was able to guard with one baton and throw the other at a wall, bouncing off perfectly to where it hit Slade in the side of the head, staggering him. Matt reeled back with his other baton, taking out its blade and stabbing Deathstroke square in the face, bringing it down as Slade's jaw split open. His body fell to the ground as he dropped the sword. Matt breathed heavily, and picked up his batons.
Daredevil: If only I could see the look on your face...
