Wiz: The ways of the grim reaper and the shimigmai have been a staple of many warriors and fighters who use fear to their advantage.
Boomstick: But these two badass fighters are literally the blood of the reapers.
Wiz: Death the kid, the symmetry obsessed reaper to be of the DWMA.
Boomstick: and Death, the leader of the four horsemen of the apocalypse, he's wiz and I'm boomstick.
Wiz: and its our job to analyze their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win a death battle.
Death []
Wiz: for untold generations there have always been myth and legend surrounding the true nature of heaven and hell, two forces of great power and might determined to rid themselves of the other, and these legends fit the bill just right when it comes down to Death.
Boomstick: Don't be put off by his name there though because Death wasn't always known for his job of dragging souls to hell or his wicked scythe.
Wiz: that is correct in truth death is a nephilim, a race of ancient being's of warrior ways who wrought death and misery upon the universe, for billions of years the nephilim ravaged planet after planet, pillaging and bringing worlds to their knees.
Boomstick: the nephilim continued on this path for eons and pretty much came to running the entire universe beneath their feet until the day all that changed.
Wiz: out of the legions and millions of warriors the nephilim called family, there emerged four nephilim who grew tired of this type of life, these four believed there had to be more to an existence than mindless slaughter and death and soon left the nephilim to find their purpose in life.
Boomstick: by the way how the hell are these guys moving from planet to planet in like an instant, do they have spaceships or something?
Wiz:truthfully it is never revealed how the nephilim traveled from world to world, most likely it had something to do with the tree of life which contains a portal to every planet in the universe, but it could also be they made the journey themselves and perhaps they can do that.
Boomstick: well in any sense of how they travel the four pioneer nephilim eventually found themselves in front of the charred council, an ancient body of weird and scary stone faces that are basically deities who were charged by the creator of existence to keep balance in the universe, you know, God,
Wiz: once they met the charred council offered the four the chance to become beings superior to the other nephilim in every way, to give them power they could only dream of in exchange for helping to keep order and balance in the universe.
Boomstick: and let's face it they weren't about to pass up the chance to become way more powerful than other nephilim considering they were already planet ravaging badasses and could pretty much take down any foe in existence.
Wiz: and thus the charred council bestowed upon them this power, transforming the once murder happy, innocent slaying monsters into the four horsemen of the apocalypse.
Boomstick: but just like any group of four people who can kick some serious ass they needed a leader to make the decisions, now they could have just gone rock paper scissors on this but since this is biblical times it wasn't that simple.
Wiz: finally it was ultimately decided that whoever emerged victorious out of the four in a fight would lead the group. they fought long and hard for several hours and while each had effective skills for fighting only one could come out on top.
Boomstick: and finally one of the four's experience, skills and determination took down the others, and so from that day on the group of War, Fury and Strife were lead by Death.
Wiz: as the leader of the group Death is a ridiculously good fighter and strategist, and his fighting style definitely compliments that, while his fellow horseman choose to hack and slash their way through anything in their path as bloody and gruesome as possible, Death actually has some art in his fighting, which is obvious considering his fighting style is meant to mimic Kobudo.
Boomstick: Kobudo? you pulling my leg? cause i've never heard of that fighting style before.
Wiz: probably not as easy to recognize as some well known arts, Kobudo is a Japanese fighting style focused on weapon training and fighting, it's extremely hard to learn and even more to master because it combines the use of other martial arts such as judo and karate in with weapons like swords, staffs and nunchuks.
Boomstick: sure all that stuff is fun and death does carry a large assortment of battle hammers, axes, spears, staffs and other stuff, but what really sets him apart is his main weapon of choice, the staple of the Grim Reaper, the Scythe, and death has got one of the best in fiction. Harvester, forged from the metal of hell itself, the scythe is completely indestructible, can split into two smaller blades, and can be summoned by death from across the battlefield.
Wiz: according to the darksiders book, Death can even summon it almost instantly from across entire planets and even dimensions. with a single touch Harvester can rip an enemies soul straight out of their body and suck it into the scythe adding to it's already absurd power.
Boomstick: and due to it being forged in hell and made of underworld metal it's able to damage any type of foe. it can kill ghosts, demons, angels, mutants and even beings fueled by corruption, which is super impressive.
Wiz: especially since it was stated by one of the Makers, the beings who made all planets in the universe. that corruption cannot be harmed by anything and those fueled by corruption are virtually indestructible, meaning death's scythe is the only weapon like it in existence.
Boomstick: and while he's got plenty of other weaons to choose from, Death savors a certain set of weapons to take care of any demonic threat, the grand abominations, these powerful relics were created by the nephilim as the most destructive weapons in existence, they were created from the remains of an extinct race called the Ravaiim, who also happened to be the fist race the nephilim wiped from existence,
Wiz: the grand abominations are insanely powerful, to the point where a single strike from one of the gauntlets can shatter entire planets, in order to ensure the Gauntlets would always remain under the control of the user, a safeguard was added to protect the user from them, but after Death picked them up the safeguard had been removed, and thus left him weak to the Grand abominations.
Boomstick: according to the lore of the nephilim, if the safeguard was ever removed from the grand abominations they would overwhelm the user with a surge of overwhelming emotions so mentally powerful they would cause the user to go insane and mentally unstable, except for Death was was completely unaffected because, Death doesn't actually have any emotions.
Wiz: leading the charge of the four horseman, death and his brethren slayed the entire nephilim army in record time, with their once comrads now defeated death absorbed all of the nephilim souls into an amulet.
Boomstick: yeah even though he's the grim reaper and the whole evil skeleton looking dude he still felt bad for his old buddies and so he sealed them away to watch over their souls, that way they would never become corrupted and have to go to the underworld.
Wiz: unfortunately peace only lasted for so long as many years later death's brother War accidentally got caught up in a feud between the demons of hell and the angels of heaven, with no warning the two sides fought with unrelenting fury on the battlefield.
Boomstick: and unfortunately the battlefield was earth, because we're kinda in the middle of the hell and heaven sandwich.
Wiz: War fought beside the angels and attempted to keep back the onslaught of demons, but the army of hell was just too much and the sheer size and force of their army overwhelmed earth's defense, most of the angles perished and the demons seized earth as their own.
Boomstick: and if losing a planet to a demon army wasn't enough War was blamed and imprisoned by the charred council for bringing the demon threat to earth, killing all of humanity and unleashing Armageddon, jeez tough break for this guy.
Wiz: with his brother imprisoned Death swore to find the truth and free him from damnation. but after a meeting with a wise old man named the Crowfather, Death realized that finding the truth wasn't enough, to free his brother he would have to bring mankind back from oblivion.
Boomstick: and the only way he could do that was if he found a way into the tree of life, it's like the Bifrost from marvel only except instead of a glowy spinning laser ball it's a literal giant tree with portals all around it.
Wiz: these portals can take you to any planet or galaxy in the universe and in the center of the tree is a well of souls with the power to restore life and death itself.
Boomstick: on his misson to find the tree death ran into a lot of trouble along the way, but if anyone can dispatch hordes of demons and corrupted monsters, it's this guy. Death can fight entire hordes and legions of demons on his own. move faster than the mortal eye can track, and tough through some pretty serious blows.
Wiz:and it's not just Harvester that makes him a threat in battle, he has a handy tool called the death grip, an enchantment allowing him to shoot a spectral hand out to latch onto surfaces or foes, dragging them straight to his scythe.
Boomstick: and he's got his brother Strife's pistol, Redemption, this handy firearm in no ordinary revolver, it can fire from extremely long distances, has unlimited ammo, and can penetrate pretty much anything.
Wiz: it can even fire through angel Armour forged in heaven, which is supposed to be superior to the metal forged in the underworld in every way.
Boomstick: Death's not alone on his qeust throughout the universe, he has a pet crow named Dust who can lead him through out various terrain and scope out incoming danger, hell he can even teleport from the ground to straight to death in a second.
Wiz: and what would a horsemen of the apocalypse be without his well, horse. Despair is Death's primary means of travel throughout the planets and is composed of various souls and bones.
Boomstick: at top speed Despair can book it over 400 mph and as a horse made of souls he is immune to damage and can be sent away and summoned at any time on the battlefield. not only that he can also stick to walls and other surfaces and run straight up it, which came in handy when he and Death ran up the tentacle of a flying eel monster to get to the castle it was pulling on it's back.
Wiz: Death's abilities go beyond just his weaponry and mount, as the grim reaper he is immortal and unaffected by disease and aging, he can manipulate souls, resurrect the dead to fight alongside him and even split his soul to create two duplicates of himself, and he doesn't require air to survive.
Boomstick: we really need to go over his raising the dead thing, in the game he was able to create 5 to 6 of these guys, but in the book and comic he could make entire armies of ghouls and monsters with hardly any effort.
Wiz: in his mission to bring peace back to the universe and save his brother from damnation, Death can accomplished some incredible feats. he's defeated entire armies of demons and angels, fought his way through a zombie apocalypse earth, decapitated the leviathan and defeated both the Archon and Samael.
Boomstick: and those two battles both showcased some of Death's greatest feats of strength and speed. in his fight with Samael, a guy who's basically Satan's second in command, he moved fast enough to dodge a point blank attack from him.
Wiz: throughout the fight Samael had shown to be teleporting throughout the arena and whenever he went in for an attack, and he teleport s in a flash of Lightning, by measuring the distance between Death and Samael means in order to dodge the attacks he would have to move over 220,000,000 mph.
Boomstick: and that's just one fight, in his conflict with the Archon, the captain of the entire angel army, basically God's second in command, he was able to dodge shots from him no problem.
Wiz: most impressively after the Archon used his energy to lift a massive statue over his head and throw it at Death.
Boomstick: and he just jumped up and cut it straight in half with Harvester, holy shit!
Wiz: by measuring the length, width and diameter of the statue, as well as take in it's build of a granite composition, we can determine that the statue must weigh over 520,000 tons, the energy needed to cleave in half a statue that size would be over 7.3 megatons of TNT, that's over 300 times more powerful than the atomic bomb that was dropped on Nagasaki.
Boomstick: besides cutting and running like a god, Death also has an awesome healing factor that can instantly recover damage dealt to him and i do mean instant.
Wiz: in his fight with his brother War attempted to drive his sword straight through Death's chest and effectively kill him.
Boomstick: but the first time he wasn't even able to penetrate Death's skin and he lost the fight, later after getting a massive boost in strength from some angel magic he fought Death again and he impaled him straight through the chest, and his healing factor repaired all the damage before War even pulled his sword out.
Wiz: that's about a fraction of a second by the way, and as a servant of the charred council if he is killed he'll simply be resurrected,which is what he did after he found the well of Souls and restored humanity. but to be fair he only has to be killed once in this fight to lose.
Boomstick: but out of all his weapons, abilities and feats, there's one thing he's got that puts everything else to shame.
Wiz: but concentrating and focusing his internal Death energy within him, Death is able to enter a form that amplifies all of his powers and gives him additional ones too. this is the True Reaper, or the Reaper Form.
Boomstick: in this form all of Death's natural abilites are super enhanced. with it Harvester grows huge and get's a second blade, he can fly and it makes him completely invulnerable.
Wiz: while he is technically unkillable Death can still be brought down with enough raw force or certain magical objects and abilities. and he's not exactly the most cunning as he has been tricked multiple times before.
Boomstick: but if you want to betray this guy, you'd better hope your packing some serious firepower, cause the last guy you want to mess with is Death.
Death the Kid[]
Wiz: in humanity's eternal qeust to understand the secrets of creation, there has always been one standing qeustion that no one can quite answer yet.
Boomstick: do we have glowy energy balls inside of us that contain our life force and our memories, otherwise known as souls.
Wiz: that's not exactly how i would phrase it but you are correct, from scholars all the way from Albert Einstein to Steven Hawking no one has yet determined if we do in fact biologically contain souls within us. however we do know that 10% of the human genome is still unmapped and it is said by many that it could be the blueprints for them.
Boomstick: well i'm not sure what time period this place takes place in but I'd say they've got Souls down pat, not only have they mapped them out, but these things can do way more than just contain our life force and memories, but what's any fictional universe without taking some sort of normal fuel, energy or emotion without weaponizing it.
Wiz: in the Soul Eater universe humans have tapped into the full power of their souls and found out ways to use these new powers to enhance their own abilities, these soul users are referred to as meister's and travel throughout the world fighting the scourge of witches and madness to maintain order in the world.
Boomstick: but like any badass fighters and wizards, they had to learn how to use these powers and harness them to their full potential, and what better place to find out how to fight monsters and witches than high school.
Wiz: the DWMA or Death Weapon Meister Academy is place where young meister's go to learn how to use and maintain their souls, under the influence and direction of the wisest and most powerful soul user of all, the Grim Reaper.
Boomstick: whoa whoa whoa! your telling me the Grim Reaper, the literal embodiment of death and fear, is this guy? i mean what the hell is up with his face?
Wiz: that's actually a mask, originally it was meant to mimic a real skull but once he started the academy he had to switch it for that one, trust me, if you ran into this guy in the old days, you would not be mocking him.
Boomstick: yeah sure, well despite looking like something out of a crappy haunted house Death is the ruler of Death City and is the lead guy when it comes to anything evil in their world, but like all the other Grim Reapers before him, he would have to have a child to ensure there would always be one to stand up to madness and protect their world, so he eventually had a kid and trained him to become the next Reaper and take over his position.
Wiz: but that child was Asura, who would prove to the world that he wasn't there to protect it, but to destroy it.
Boomstick: long story short, Asura might have been trained to be super deadly and an awesome fighter but he was a huge wimp, he was terrified of practically everything and always had the constant fear that everyone around him hated and wanted to kill him.
Wiz: Asura believed that the only way to combat these fears was to become more and more powerful until none could challenge him and he would be able to stand above fear as a true warrior, and after consuming a large amount of human souls he was transformed into the first kishin.
Boomstick: and after an intense battle with his dad and his 8 guardian warriors, Asura was defeated and had all his skin torn off and made into a sack that he was imprisoned in, but hey, he did manage to take out all of Death's warriors and give his dad and a run for his money.
Wiz: 800 years later after death city and the DWMA had been built over the tomb of the defeated kishin Death realized he would need to have another child to continue the line of Grim Reapers.
Boomstick: and this time after a little self surgery on his own soul, he finally had kid who wasn't a terrified murdering monster, and he became known as Death the kid.
Wiz: as the son of the Grim Reaper Kid was created from a fraction of his fathers own soul just like Asura, and throughout the course of his life he began to fully understand his destiny in life.
Boomstick: Kid stands about 4'9" and wears a sleek looking black suit that kind looks like something James bond would wear to a costume party, and he's also got these weird white stripes in his hair that only show up on one side, what's up with that, did he dye it or something?
Wiz: well Kid has tried to dye his hair countless times to get rid of the stripes but no matter what he uses, they won't budge.
Boomstick: well, even if you can't get them out, who really cares, those things look awesome, they're freaky, intimidating and just look really cool.
Wiz: maybe for a normal person they would look cool, except you happen to be like Kid, who hates the stripes to no end and would do anything to get rid of them.
Boomstick: why, it can't be because they're white, half of everything he owns is white, and the other half is black.
Wiz: according to Kid the stripes ruin his perfect symmetry and is ashamed because of it.
Boomstick: and oh my god, you have not seen an obsession until you have let this guy talk to you about symmetry, unless everything in every little way is perfectly symmetrical and straight he goes completely nuts.
Wiz: even with his rather insane obsession with everything being straight and proper, Kid continued to learn all he could about being a grim reaper, in his earliest years of learning he studied book after book of ways to improve his skills and fighting.
Boomstick: speaking of fighting, Kid was also trained in hand to hand combat with his father and if there was something his dad thought was too dangerous for him to learn at the time, he just self taught himself it with just as much skill as his dad, now that's what i call initiate.
Wiz: and when he became of age Kid was enrolled in the DWMA by his father where he would truly learn all that he needed to become the next great reaper.
Boomstick: but before he could go to badass school and learn how to fight monsters and demons he would need a weapon of choice to amplify his soul energy and wavelength. only problem was every potential weapon they threw at Kid he just threw it right back, hammers, swords, axes, you name it he didn't want it.
Wiz: problem was Kid didn't dislike these weapons because they weren't destructive enough or powerful enough, no he didn't want them because they weren't symmetrical enough.
Boomstick: Jesus christ this kid is annoying with that.
Wiz: after a few months of looking for a weapon of his choice to conclusion, Kid was stumped and didn't know what to do, then one day while walking through an alley he came face to face with the two notorious street criminals the Thompson sisters, Liz and Patty. born on the streets with no parents to care for them the two spent their lives stealing and fighting for survival, relying on their weapon forms for safeguard, and they just so happened to be dual pistols, equal in both size and length. a weapon pair perfectly suited for Kid.
Boomstick: while the two's original plan was to rob Kid and leave him in the dust they changed their tune when he later saved their asses from a rival gang of street thugs, and he gave them a choice, become his signature weapons and be used to fight the forces of evil, or remain street criminals, so naturally they picked the more kickass choice.
Wiz: Patty and Liz are capable of firing Soul blasts, a handy form of ammunition which causes enormous damage to not only humans, but also immortal and even undead beings, but while the soul blasts themselves are dangerous, It's nothing compared to Kid's ultimate attack, his soul resonance technique, Death Cannon.
Boomstick: the Death Cannon more than lives up to it's name, as anything unlucky enough to wander into it's crosshairs is immediately blown up in a massive blast, the Death Cannon turns the two pistols into a pair of giant arm cannons that extend onto Kid, It's powerful enough to oneshot pretty much everything it hit's and creates an explosion so big, it can level an entire courtyard in one shot.
Wiz: with his newfound weapons Kid at last joined the DWMA and got to work learning, fighting and training to become the best of the best, in no time at all Kid graduated from the academy with flying colors and began his final task, to collect 99 evil human souls and one witches soul to transform his weapons into a death scythe.
Boomstick: in no time at all he had collected the 99 evil human souls, he only needed the witches soul now and so he set off to an ancient pyramid to find the witch, but instead of that he found a evil pharaoh mummy, after an intense battle the pharaoh was set to take the win, until he made the mistake of revealing his misshapen and horribly unsymmetrical face to Kid.
Wiz: the sight of such a massive and horrible looking being infuriated Kid and he lashed out, in an explosion of dust and debris he killed the pharaoh and created a massive hole in the pyramid with a massive barrage of soul blasts from the twin pistols, which caused the entire thing to collapse in on itself.
Boomstick: and since blowing up a pyramid wasn't exactly the best thing to look for in your next protector of good, Kid had his evil souls confiscated and was sent back to the DWMA for retraining.
Wiz: and upon his return to the school he met some new friends who would aid him in one of the deadliest wars mankind has ever known, with the looming threat of the Witches as well as an awakening of his demonic brother, Kid was forced to learn quickly and adapt on the battlefield, lucky for him he already had the skills and knowledge to fight back.
Boomstick: as a reaper and the son of the greatest reaper to ever live, Kid is naturally physically superior to normal humans like his friends in every way, He's stronger, faster, and way tougher, he can send foes flying with a single punch or even kick hard enough to embed them straight through solid stone walls, He's faster than a mortal eye can track and tough enough to take a ridiculous amount of pain.
Wiz: in his fight with the pharaoh, Kid's stubborn refusal to do any harm to the perfectly symmetrical evil being allowed the demon to impale him not once, not twice, but eight times all at once with spinning drill bandages, and beat him to near death with a massive hammer like weapon. the result, he got back up a few seconds later like it didn't even happen.
Boomstick: Kid's definitely one tough guy, but getting hit isn't what he's known for, and thanks to hs hand to hand combat training with his dad and exceptional skill in tactics and dodging, He's not exactly the easiest guy to land a blow on. I mean even Crona was having a hard time hitting him, and that guy can literally attack from every angle at once.
Wiz: that's right, Crona has the ability to use his own blood as a piercing weapon by turning it into solid stabbing objects the second it leaves his body. in his and Kid's duel on the flying dutchman, Crona surrounded the entire space around Kid in blood droplets and used his signature bloody needle move, which is supposed to attack faster than highly trained Meisters can react.
Boomstick: but not Kid, who easily dodged the demonic droplets and then proceeded to nail Crona with an onslaught of soul blasts.
Wiz: the Thompson sisters are undoubtedly Kid's most advantageous and useful weapon he has but they're not the only tool he has at his disposal.
Boomstick: you talking about that ruler he carries around everywhere to make sure everything around him is always perfectly symmetrical, cuase I really don't see how that can be used as a weapon or a tool.
Wiz: I'm talking about his skateboard, not a ruler.
Boomstick: oh yeah, and what's so useful about an old skateboard you may ask, well for starters this one's got rocket boosters, how's that for useful?
Wiz: as his primary means of long range travel, Kid's skateboard is by far the fastest transport in Soul Eater, not only can it keep up with Crona's dragon form, which i should note can fly and maintain speed's of up to 10,000 mph. but he was fast enough to pull this off.
Boomstick: while inside the ancient pyramid that Kid would later blow to dust, he realized and became worried that one of his pictures back in his house was leaning a bit too far to the left, horrified by this as he is he flew back to check on it, and flew all the way back to the pyramid so fast, that the shadow's no the pyramid hadn't even shifted yet.
Wiz: to analyze this we know that Death city is located in the center of Nevada and he flew all the way from there to Egypt in that same time frame, the distance from Nevada to Egypt is about 11777 km, as Kid flew back home then to the Pyramid again this means that he covered a distance of roughly 23554 km in just under 5 minutes, meaning he must have gone over 178774 mph, that's about mach 233.
Boomstick: holy shit that thing can book it! but if there's one thing Kid's better at than flying, it's fighting, after only a short while back at the DWMA he was recognized as the top tier meister in the academy, he even tried going to find the legendary holy sword Excalibur, which was said to grant powers equal to that of a god and he would be known as the greatest warrior who ever lived.
Wiz: but after meeting excalibur's other more humanish form, he like his friend black star, immediately shoved it back into the ground.
Boomstick: what? why would he give up the chance to be the greatest warrior who ever lived and have powers equal to a god?
Wiz: if you met Excalibur, you'd understand.
Boomstick: ok, well back to Kid's powers, he's lucky he was figuring stuff out so quickly, because it wasn't long before some kind of evil force showed up to challenge the DWMA, this said evil came in the form of the terrorist organization Arachnophobia, lead by the evil witch Arachne, the Witch Medusa's older sister and Crona's aunt. Arachne was obsessed with getting back at Kid's dad, who had nearly defeated her entire organization and forced her into hiding for 700 years.
Wiz: to combat this new threat the DWMA devised a plan to use it's own Meisters as a means of fighting back, the various weapons and meisters were separated into teams of six, with three meisters and weapon partners each. Kid was assigned to the ragtag team of Maka Albarn and her scythe partner Soul, and Black star and his partner, the four weapon form Tsubaki.
Boomstick: despite bit of a rocky start at first, the team got really good at fending off Arachne's forces and saving the world, they were so good they were even directly responsible for the complete and total destruction of the madness wavelength terror Asura, but not without plenty of impressive feats along the way.
Wiz: Kid has constantly proven time and time again to be one of the deadliest fighters in the Soul Eater universe, he's defeated Black star in single combat with no weapons twice, fought against and eventually overpowered the 200 year form of Mosquito, and matched the skill and combat style of the immortal werewolf Free.
Boomstick: he's also so good on his skateboard that he was able to perform two mid air skateboard tricks while in the middle of a 500 mph firefight, against a possessed train, and some weird fish suit guy with a giant harpoon cannon.
Wiz: But that's not all that makes Kid a threat in battle, in the midst of the final battle with his brother Asura, Kid tapped into his full power to achive his Ultimate form, the True Death God State, in this form all of Kid's abilities are amplified to near God levels of power, he can alter his Madness wavelength to turn foes completely insane and cause them to see hallucinations of their death. shoot soul blasts and Death Cannons powerful enough to destroy mountains, and is able to use the madness of order.
Boomstick: this ability allows Kid to turn human emotions in on themselves, by altering these he can cause even the most vile and evil beings to feel emotions so overpowering they can't sustain themselves, and through this connection he can evil control people slightly, like some kind of emotion mind control.
Wiz: many foes and enemies stood agianst them and the team didn't ace every mission with flying colors.
Boomstick: but by the end they took down Asura, restored peace and Saneness to the world, and Kid finally realized his destiny and became the new Grim Reaper.

Wiz: alright the combatants are set let's end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: It's time for a death battle!!!!!

Back in the land of the dead Death is riding across the open plains on despair with Dust flying overhead, the three trek across until a mysterious light in front of them stops them, the light slowly disperse's to reveal Crowfathers spirit form in front of them looking up.
Death: if you've nothing important to say Crowfather then let us pass, we have a mission to accomplish.
Crowfather: hmm, even after Resurrection you're still as naive as ever, rider of death.but what news i bring, is of the utmost importance.
Death: I'm listening.
Crowfather: you may have defeated Absalom, and restored humanity, but it seems out of that there has emerged a problem even greater than before.
Death: what do you speak of Crowfather?
Crowfather: after you sacrificed your own life to bring back the lost souls of the demon war, mankind had not forgotten what had happened, and shortly after they became engaged in their own war with a new enemy known as a Kishin, the Kishin was stopped by it's father, and for 800 years the humans were convinced that this father of the kishin had not only stopped it's own child, but that it had also brought mankind back from oblivion, and ever since then they have worshiped it and it's new child alike.
Death: and what does this have to do with me?
Crowfather: because the child is known, as the Grim Reaper.
Death: what!? that is my title, and they gave it up to some boy who looks like a human Reaper?!
Crowfather: this shift in power between the two Reapers has upset the balance of the universe, the creators claim that only one can remain and one of you will have to die, and this time, remain dead.
Death: then this child will have to be destroyed.
Crowfather opened a portal revealing a picture of the DWMA and death city, Death jumped back on despair and rode through the portal, teleporting him.
Meanwhile back in death city, Kid and the twins were walking down the street heading out of the city.
Liz: that's the third time this month that we've been kicked out of a restaurant because of you and your stupid symmetry!
Kid: all I did was ensure everyone could enjoy their meal properly, It's not my fault people don't understand proper dining.
Liz: organizing the food on everyone else's plate is not fine dining, it's creepy!
the group continued walking until suddenly a portal opened in front of them several feet away, and a massive gray colored man on a glowing skeleton horse came out. Death leaped off the horse and Despair vanished into thin air.
Death: you, I hear that you go by the title of the Grim Reaper.
Kid: that is true, so what.
Death: I'm afraid that title is already taken, so I'll have to insist you give it up, or else.
Kid: I don't think so, Liz, Patty, transform!
the twins jumped up and converted into a pair of dual pistols, Kid held up them in an odd stance aimed at Death, who took out his dual scythes and positioned them behind his back.
Death: so be it.
FIGHT!!!
Kid fired several soul shots at death, death put the two dual scythes together forging harvester and spun it in s circle blocking the shots, Kid ceased firing and kicked a boulder up into the air before launching it towards his opponent, Death stopped spinning the scythe and leapt forward cleaving the boulder in two, he pulled out his own pistol Redemption and fired at Kid who blocked the shots but was struck my one of them in his lower abdomen.
Kid and Death ran towards each other and began fighting fist to fist, Kid struck Death several times who couldn't land a hit on the fast moving young reaper, Kid leapt behind and attempted to strike Death's back, but his hand was grabbed by the horsemen, Death tossed Kid up into the air and jumped up slamming him back into the ground.
Kid struggled to get up but remained focused, he brought out Liz and Patty again and jumped out of the crater staring his foe down. Death readied his scythes in his stance but just as Kid was about to shoot he stopped.
Liz: uhh, Kid, you mind telling us what your doing, you're just standing there, attack him!!
Kid: I-I can't he's, perfectly symmetrical!!! i mean look at him! the way he holds his scythe in two smaller forms equal in size and length!! and the way he positions them behind his back, I could never attack someone such as this!! his face! the mask! his hair! everything is as it should be!!
Patty: he's lost it, again.
Death was standing extremely confused as to why the boy in front of him was obsessed over the way he holds his scythe, and why he wasn't attacking him.
Liz: wait Kid, look, he's not 100 percent symmetrical, he has a spot on his chest with little green bits in it.
Kid: wait you're right, he is! that's absolutely disgusting, how could you someone who looks so perfectly symmetrical have one tiny little flaw that puts everything else to ruin!!!
Death: the soul amulet shards? they're embedded in my chest I can't take them out or get rid of them.
Kid: well it looks like I'll have to put you out of your misery you asymmetrical bastard!!!!
Death ran towards kid and tired to slice him in two with his scythe blades, kid dodged every attempt then lept up and kicked death in the face then uppercuted him sending death flying towards a cliff face, kid picked up a boulder with one hand and tossed it at death who caught it in his palm and crushed it instantly.
Death: you have skill, but you're no match for a horsemen.
Kid: bring it on.
Death put his dual scythes on his belt and summoned the grand abominations, he pounded his fists together before heading for kid, kid fired at death but he held his gauntlets in front of him for defense, once close to him kid tired to jump away but death sent out a beam of energy from the grand abominations, it hit kid dead on and sent him tumbling to the ground, death picked him up and began striking him rapidly with the grand abominations, finally he launched him into the air and summoned his hammer, once kid fell back down death struck him with the hammer sending kid flying.
Kid landed in a massive impact, he got back up and gripped his pistols, death came charging but this time kid waited for him to get there, when death attacked kid slipped past him and struck him from the side, death groaned in pain and tried to grab kid, but he was too fast and slippery, kid continued to slip past death's defenses and striking him in vital points, in anger death summoned a massive group of wraiths to his side, the wraiths emerged and went after kid, who turned his attention to the new threat.
Kid shot and knocked away the wraiths as they came, meanwhile death was regrouping and threw aside the grand abominations, he grabbed his scythe blades and put them together forming Harvester, he swung it through the air and set it at his side, kid was dispatching the last of the wraiths and turned back to death who know had a much larger single scythe.
Kid: now you're completely asymmetrical, when we're done here I'll have to take that scythe to father, he'll find some use for it.
Death: you may try.
Kid pulled out his skateboard and headed off at top speed, Death summoned Despair and took off after him, kid was flying through the air and looked back seeing death and his horse starting to get closer. Kid shot backwards at death who deflected the bullets with his scythe, death shot forward at kid with redemption, kid maneuvered around the bullets performing a midair trick dodge, Death let go of Harvester and the scythe vanished, Kid continued flying as a portal opened in front of him and Harvester came flying out towards him, with no time to get away Kid jumped off the board as it was sliced in half, Death stopped and hopped off Despair who vanished afterward, Death and Kid exchanged bullets as they both shot at each other both missing their targets mark, Kid closed his eyes and perforemed a hand signal in front of him.
Death: what is this?
marks began to glow on Kid as he transformed and went into the True Death God Form. he looked forward at Death.
Kid: time to end this. Soul Resonance!
Kid's arms began to glow and spark with death and soul energy, his pistols began to morph and change into two massive cannons on his arms, Kid aimed the two weapons in front of him straight at the horsemen.
Liz: Noise at 0.3 percent
Patty:Black Needle goal wavelength fully charged
Liz: preparing to fire, feedback in 4 seconds, 3
Patty: 2
Liz: 1
Patty: firing now!
Kid: Ultra Death Cannon!!!
the Ultra Death Cannon shot a massive beam of energy towards Death, upon reaching him it exploded in a massive burst of smoke and earth.
Kid: one more soulless being out for the count.
as the smoke cleared a figure emerged from the crater, Kid stood back eyes bewildered and stared up at Death's Reaper Form towering over him.
Kid: how!? that's impossible!!
Death swung his massive two bladed scythe at the young reaper who intercepted with his weapons, Kid jumped into the air and prepared for another Death Cannon, but before he could Death quickly summoned a portal directly behind Kid and threw Harvester into another, Harvester came flying out and directly into Kid's chest. the new reaper's form faded and he returned to his normal self before crashing into the ground in a heap of blood and organs. Death exited his Reaper Form and walked over and saw the weapon forms of Patty and Liz on the ground, he quickly smashed them to bits with his foot and summoned Despair, heading back to crowfather.

Boomstick: Well, I'm betting that it's gonna take them a long time to try and bring him back, and a lot longer to find him a weapon to use.
Wiz: Kid may have been one of the most experienced and effective fighters at the DWMA but that didn't boil down to much more than tricks and information against a being like Death.
Boomstick: First off the numbers don't lie, in terms of physical superiority Kid was no match against Death, sure he might be stronger than most of the character's in Soul eater like Maka and Crona, but that's not that impressive when compared to the vast majority of the powerhouses in Darksiders, to find out just how tough he really is we needed to compare him to another super strong character like Black Star, who kid has already defeated twice in the past, once with no weapons.
Wiz: Black Star was strong enough to actually kick one of the moon's teeth so hard, it dislodged itself from the moon and came crashing down to earth, not to mention he was able to lift the entire thing on his own, by comparing the tooth's size to the nearby kid's and accounting for it's composition, means the tooth must weigh at least 9000 tons.
Boomstick: In comparison Death was strong enough to physically go toe to toe with the Guardian and was able to stop and lift it's hammer dead in it's tracks, the Guardian and it's weapon was made to be the powerful and deadly construct ever made so it's most likely it was made using an extremely durable and tough stone like granite, and by comparing the guardian itself to it's hammer which is the same height as it means to stop it dead on Death must have a force equal to 650,000 tons in those hands of his.
Wiz: Also just to prove that this scaling is correct Kid has defeated Black Star two separate times in the past before reaching his ultimate potential and Death has shown this kind of brute strength before in his fight with the Archon, as well as the fact that Death is superior to the makers, one of which was also able to stop the Guardian's hammer in it's tracks.
Boomstick: In terms of speed Kid may have had a slight advantage on his board but don't forget how Death was shown himself capable of reacting to teleporting attacks by all manner of enemies and is quick enough on his feet to react and Dodge natural lightning bolts from the sky and from Samael from just a few feet away, so he was more than capable of keeping up Kid.
Wiz: Speaking of the Archon let's discuss two of their best displays of destructive force while in their base forms, Kid was able to completely destroy a pyramid with a barrage of soul shots but it's not quite as impressive as it seems. sure he might have blown a massive hole but he actually didn't destroy the entire pyramid based on his destructive force alone, the pyramid itself was already several thousand years old and was practically on the verge of collapse, meaning after the hole was blown open it didn't take much to bring it down.
Boomstick: Don't forget the thing didn't fall down until Kid, Liz and Patty were out and already starting to head back to the city, still we need to calculate that feat to see just how far his power really goes.
Wiz: By measuring the diameter and width of the blast we determined that Kid could output energy equivalent to nearly 4.5 kilotons of TNT, impressive, but not nearly as impressive as the 7.3 megaton slice it took Death to cleave that statue in half, making Death more than 175,000 times more destructive than Kid.
Boomstick: Both may have taken some serious blows and lived to fight another day, but there's no surprise that Death was far tougher and had a way more powerful healing factor than Kid, considering he can tank being impaled by the sword of War and heal before the sword could even come out.
Wiz: Kid may have had more experience than any meister at the DWMA but don't forget that's only a few years and maybe one decade of combat experience which pales in comparison to the literal eons of experience of Death fighting monsters and bringing order to the universe.
Boomstick: And it's not like Kid was gonna have any luck making death go insane or mad using the madness wavelength since he's able to use the grand abominations which are designed to make people go insane and he doesn't even flinch, plus I don't think Death actually has any emotions, I mean the dude never gets sad or happy although he does get a little pissed sometimes when he get's double crossed, but then again who wouldn't?
Wiz: And last but not least their ultimate forms, Kid's true reaper form was powerful and devastating to the enemies of his own world, but not compared to Death and his Reaper Form, for one not only does it boost all of Death's natural abilities and give him the power to fly and manipulate gravity, but it also grants him total invulnerability against anything, even Absalom at his full power which literally threatened the balance of the universe couldn't even put a scratch on death in this form, not even Kid's Ultra Death Cannon could stack up to that.
Boomstick: Not to mention that Harvester was a way more effective and deadly weapon then Liz and Patty, both of whom's soul blasts have been ineffective against a shitload of characters like Free and Crona. while not even heaven and hell forged Armour can hold up against Harvester.
Wiz: Kid was an experienced and well trained fighter but Death was simply tougher, faster, stronger and far more prepared and even more experienced.
Boomstick: Kid just didn't have a Shinigami's chance in hell of beating the Horsemen.
Wiz: The Winner is Death.
