History[]
Born on the planet Skaro, Davros is a Kaled whose people have been in race war with the Thals for centuries. As leader of the Kaleds' Elite Scientific Division, having been outfitted with cybernetics after being horribly scarred and his lower extremities destroyed in an explosion, Davros devised new military strategies for his people's victory. But when Davros learned his people were evolving from exposure to nuclear and biological weapons used in the war, he artificially accelerates the process to his design and stores the resulting tentacle creatures in tank-like "Mark III travel machines" partly based on the design of his life-support wheelchair. These creatures would become known as the Daleks as Davros essentially wiped out most of his own race, ultimately betrayed by his creations as they slaughtered his followers while keeping him alive to serve them. Meeting the Doctor at the time, having met a future version years prior, Davros would consider him a worthy foe due to their conflicting ideals and made it his goal to have the Doctor suffer and prove his creations' superiority.
Death Battle Info[]
After his near-death experience during the Kaled-Thal War, Davros lost his lower body and was installed in a life-support chariot that would be the basis of the Dalek design. A metal brace was attached to his head, wires originally plugged into his skull before they were removed. Having lost use of his left arm, Davros uses his right hand to operate his chariot's controls, the limb later outfitted with a prosthetic that allows him to project electric shocks. Though his eyes were still functional, Davros have an artificial eye placed on his forehead and connected to his nervous system.
