Darth Vader vs The Lich King is a What-If?Death Battle by LakuitaBro01.2

Description:[]

Star Wars vs World of Warcraft! Two young knights destined to bring about the Light slipped onto a dark path to becoming lords of the Dark! Will the Sith Lord lay claim to the continent of Northerend and all of Azeroth? Or will the Lich King add another soul to the ranks of his Scourge?

Interlude:[]

Wiz: The path to the light is often filled with treacherous slopes and harsh betrayals, leading the most unfortunate to an untimely doom at the hands of the dark.

Boomstick: Whether it be ye ol' paladins, or super powered beings deciding to be nice to others, not every hero is good enough to overcome the treachery and manipulation of others. Especially when they're gifted some badass sets of armor.

Wiz: Although they remain cold, heartless killers, the good underneath cries out for others to save them.

Boomstick: Darth Vader, the Emperor's Enforcer and Sith Lord.

Wiz: And the Lich King, the host of Ner'zhul and Lord of the Scourge.

Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.

Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skill to see who would win a Death Battle.

Darth Vader:[]

Wiz: Long ago in a galaxy far, far away lived a young boy with his mother on a rather harsh desert planet called Tatooine. This young boy was Anakin Skywalker, a slave of a less than humble junk dealer named Watto.

Boomstick: By absolute chance, a Galactic Republic ship made an unscheduled stop on Tatooine in need of repairs. It was then that Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn had discovered young Anakin and his nuclear bomb levels of potential with the force.

Wiz: After making a rather hefty wager on Skywalker winning a pod race, Qui-Gon, Anakin, and the others made their way back to Coruscant. Although he was to be an apprentice under Qui-Gon, he unfortunately met his end, leaving Obi-Wan Kenobi to be Anakin's master.

Boomstick: Just throwing the boy from one dog collar to the other I see. Anakin was trained in the ways of the Jedi over several years, eventually becoming a Jedi Knight in his own right, but everything ended the fateful day when Anakin was given the title of Master, but not given a seat on the Jedi Council.

Wiz: Being understandably angry at the constant praise of being the chosen just to be denied the spot he believed he deserved, he opened himself up to being manipulated by the Galactic Republic's own Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine. This led to the fateful day on Mustafar where Anakin's psyche would forever change.

Boomstick: After being given a lovely lava bath by one Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin's body was recovered by Palpatine and his forces, reconstructing the fallen Jedi Knight into the new Empire's fiercest enforcer: Darth Vader.

Wiz: As Vader, Anakin became a robot serving the Dark Side. Anyone who questioned his power or authority were used as a demonstration from just how brutal the Sith Lord could be.

Boomstick: Especially with his trusty and iconic red lightsaber! Who knows how many stormtroopers lost their heads to it.

Wiz: The lightsaber is a force users weapon of choice, and usually their only choice. Lightsabers are super heated blades capable of cutting through blast doors.

Boomstick: Vader is more or less well versed in all forms of lightsaber combat, but he definitely has a preference for Form V. As Form V itself is a branch off from Form III, it's rather defensive in nature, focusing on counter attack maneuvers rather than the offensive.

Wiz: Vader's strength comes from using the two branches of Form V: Shien and Djem So. Practitioners of Shien focuesed on the element of surprise in attacking when least expected and attacking with a reverse grip if need be.

Boomstick: Djem So was mainly for saber on saber combat and focused on overwhelming the opponent with the strength of Vader's strikes. The classic blaster deflection that Jedis are known for even comes from this Form.

Wiz: But lightsaber dueling would be nothing without a Sith's greatest ally: the force. Through the force, Vader has a number of abilities at his disposal. Such abilities include barriers, super speed, and super strength as force augmentation abilities.

Boomstick: Yet the most iconic ability the force give is telekinesis. Vader can do a lot with it. Like choking a bitch, disarming foes, pulling freighters out of the sky, crushing an entire AT-AT walker, and much more.

Wiz: Vader is also a master of telepathy. He could manipulate someone to kill themselves or to give him information he may need to beat them. He could even probe their mind to find out a fatal flaw or weakness.

Boomstick: He's also capable of one more defensive technique: Tutaminis. While it sounds funny, it's used to diffuse harmful energies that a Sith would absorb and convert it into something else of channel it away.

Wiz: With a massive array of abilities and the experience and ferocity of a Sith, Vader is by far a slouch in his physical feats. Using his telekinesis he was able to crush an AT-AT walker, and has even pulled freighters out of the sky!

Boomstick: Later he was able to drag a ship that was the same model as the Millenium Falcon through the ground hard enough to destroy it.

Wiz: He's also survived battles with many dangerous foes like Kirak Infil'a, who was trained to do battle with someone like Vader. He's even taken the full hit of a tsunami which washed away a small city and survived the explosion of a large weapons factory, which was comparable in size to the droid foundry on Geonosis.

Boomstick: That's means good ol' Vader can survive an explosion of 58 kilotons of TNT. Speed wise, Vader can keep up with Obi-Wan, who has deflected Force Lightning several times in the past. And yes, Force Lightning is comparable to actual lightning.

Wiz: However Vader's biggest weakness is himself. During the construction of his body, Darth Sidious ordered his body to be susceptible to lightning attacks, to avoid the risk of Vader overthrowing him. As such, an electric shock can harm Vader severely, and it to make things worse, he has a control panel on his chest as a weakpoint.

Boomstick: But through the power of the Dark Side, Vader could destroy his foes not only physically, but quite literally mentally.

The Lich King:[]

Wiz: Arthas Menethil, born to King Terenas, was a brilliant swordsman and friend to King Varian and Jain Proudmoore. He became skilled enough in his teachings of the Light to be inducted into the Knights of the Silverhand.

Boomstick: Being God's Navy Seal, Arthas was high up in command, just under his mentor Uther the Lightbringer. When Arthas was 24, a strange plague had begun to infect the kingdom of Lordaeron, turning several villages into the undead.

Wiz: A necromancer by the name of Kel'Thuzad was responsible for this as he had tainted the grain of a major granary and sent shipments out all over the place, namely the major settlement of Stratholme. He was also told he'd find the leader of the Scourge: Mal'Ganis.

Boomstick: Seeing as the shipment had already made it to Stratholme, Arthas went ahead and conducted the 3rd Crusade on the city, much to Uther's anger. There, Arthas failed to kill Mal'Ganis, who told him about the stronghold of Northerend.

Wiz: Arthas then set fire to the city and left for Northerend. After meeting with an expedition group and ignoring Uther's orders to return home, he had come in contact with the legendary sword Frostmourne. With the spirit of the orc shaman Ner'zhul in his mind telling him what to do, Arthas quickly went on a killing spree.

Boomstick: He killed his army, he killed kingdoms, he killed some demons, and he killed dear old pa. On his return to Northerend, he took to the Frozen Throne, put the Helm of Domination on, and his identity was forever changed. No longer was he Arthas Menethil, he had become the Lich King.

Wiz: As the Lich, Arthas would go on to wage war against the entirety of Azeroth with his Scourge and his Death Knights, and anyone who proved to be too much he would handle by himself.

Boomstick: With the mythical runeblade Frostmourne he would strike fear into the souls of his enemies while taking them for himself! While Arthas can activate its soul-sucking capabilities from long range with a move like Fury of Frostmourne, so much as TOUCHING the blade risks either losing your soul or becoming the new host.

Wiz: With such a weapon at his side, Arthas would be feared in direct combat which fortunately for him he has many ways of fighting at a distance. For example, the aforementioned Fury of Frostmourne which steals souls or even infecting others with the Necrotic Plague.

Boomstick: Which, funny enough, is probably the same plague used on Stratholme. Really comes full circle with this guy, huh.

Wiz: On top of being able to infect others with the plague, the Lich King can even infest other with shadow energy, slowly weakening them over time. And any one too fast or slippery for him can be frozen in place with Ice Lock.

Boomstick: The guy can even summon snowstorms to damage and slow anyone he wants! But perhaps ol' Lich's most dangerous ability is his ability to summon ghouls and ghosts from beyond the grave, like this!

Boomstick pulls a busted DUMMI out from nowhere and sprinkles some fairy dust on him, causing the robot to repair itself and look around frightened.

Boomstick: Welcome back buddy!

DUMMI: I have seen god and he is angry...

DUMMI flies away quickly repeating that phrase over and over to himself, causing the two hosts to scratch their heads.

Wiz: Huh. Well then. The Lich King can summon anything from his undead army to his aid, like ghouls, abominations, the Valkyrs, skeletons, and more. Applying his ability to manipulate souls to this, the Lich can even use his foe's own soul against them as a copy of themselves.

Boomstick: With all this soul-sucking, undead-raising, virus-inflicting power, you better believe Arthas is capable of doing some hefty physical damage as well. He's deemed a threat to the champions of Azeroth, such as Thrall who once created a massive storm that covered all of Stormwind in a few seconds, a feat worth 5 MEGAtons of TNT.

Wiz: Furthermore, the Lich King was considered a threat to the Dragonflight and the Dragon Aspects themselves, one of which opened the Maelstrom, which displaced several islands at once, shortly after his defeat.

Boomstick: He's beaten the Champions of Azeroth on several occasions, killed the son of the Legendary General Saurfang, and even the first demon hunter Illidan Stormrage, who was tough enough to put a chokehold on the outland and fast enough to soar above storm clouds in just a few seconds!

Wiz: And as the Shamans use natural elements to attack, lesser powered characters and even those considered below the Lich King are capable of dodging lightning itself, meaning he should scale to that as well. As powerful as he is though, he is not without his weaknesses.

Boomstick: Destroying Frostmourne would immediately break any hold the spirit of the Lich King has on Arthas and would make him incredibly weaker than his current tier of strength, and destroying the Helm of Domination would depower him BUT also have some longer lasting negative side effects like opening the portal between the afterlife and the living world.

Wiz: But with the awe and terrifying power the Lich King possesses would surely put the shock into anyone faced with his presence.

Death Battle:[]

Icecrown Citadel

Winter Storm Ambience and TIE Fighter Noises

TIE fighters patrolled around the massive citadel located in southern Icecrown. The empire had made landfall in the massive, frozen continent in the north of this medieval planet, and while it was initially perceived as an easy conquer, the growing ranks of the undead left the empire in a stalemate.

The TIE fighters all made bombing runs on the citadel, blowing the hordes of undead into bloody pieces safely from above. Lead by the Sith Lord Darth Vader, the citadel's defenses quickly thinned, leaving the ground troops with an opening to storm the castle. As Vader pulled his fighter away to join the grounded assault, the massive frost wyrm Sindragosa rose from behind the tower of the citadel and swiped a wing off the ship.

Sent into a downwards spiral, the TIE fighter plummeted towards the ground, but the Sith Lord stayed calm. Popping the hatch of the TIE fighter open, Vader leaped out and hitched a ride on Sindragosa, igniting his lightsaber through the beasts head. She screamed in pain as Vader steered her towards the top of the citadel: to the Frozen Throne.

The mighty dragon made a crash landing onto the platform, shaving bits of bone off the beast and causing it to slide off the side, and onto the battlefield below. Vader's echoing breath seemingly drowned out the surrounding winter storm. In fact, the storm seemed to stop at the edges of the citadel's throne.

"Interesting ability." The Sith complimented as he finally turned to face the ruler of this domain: The Lich King.

The armor clad figure sat upon his throne, glowing blue eyes staring down the Sith Lord unblinkingly. The Frostmourne laid dug into the floor of the Frozen Throne with the Lich's hands clasped upon it. After a few moments of silence, the Lich King finally spoke up.

"It is impressive that you got here as fast as you did."

Both figures stood unwavering, yet they both tightened the grip on their trusty weapons.

"You are nothing less of a fool for challenging me here... The weapons and vehicles you bring to this planet will only serve to help me destroy it."

"Which is exactly why I've come here to put an end to this... 'Scourge'" replied the Sith Lord as he held his lightsaber up. "This world is ripe for the Empire's taking."

The Lich King rose, taking the Frostmourne out of the ground with him. The storm began to close in on the Frozen Throne as the Lich made his way down the steps.

"So be it."

Scourge of the Dark Side

The two armor clad dark lords began to circle each other as the sounds of blaster shots and bombings began to erupt from below, meaning the citadel had been breached. The two lunged at each other with weapons drawn, the lightsaber clashing with the cold steel of the Frostmourne, sending bright sparks across the platform.

FIGHT!

Bright sparks flew with every strike, lighting up the snow storm surrounding them. The Sith Lord could feel the cold itself freezing him and slowing down his movements as he parried the armored undead's blows. Using the force, he pushed the storm back to the out rim of the platform, immediately making the temperature rise, even if a little.

"Impressive..."

The Lich King swung the Frostmourne overhead, causing Vader to slightly lose focus on keeping the storm out, but for someone as trained as he it was no issue. Vader used the Force to push The Lich across the platform, causing the undead king to retaliate with a bolt of shadow magic, blasting the Sith across the chest and making him slide back as well.

"Likewise your 'power' is intriguing. I've never come across a man or thing capable of manipulating the very weather as well as what you would call 'magic'."

"Enough talk." the Lich King coldly spat out at Vader.

The two slowly circled in once again, trying to get a read on the other. Vader switched his stance and leaped forward with murderous intent, while the Lich put his guard up and blocked in incoming hit. Using the Force to empower his strength, Vader pushed harder against the Frostmourne, sending even more sparks flying as if it was a welding tool, but alas his foe did not buckle under the pressure.

"For a conqueror of worlds you are weak!"

The Lich pushed Vader off of him and slashed towards his stomach, but the Sith used the Force to stop the blow and land a heavy kick to the heavily armored chest of his foe. Surprised, but not shaken, the Lich coldly laughed and stood his ground and lunged once more with the Frostmourne, this time only narrowly missing his mark. Vader grabbed the King's arm and tried to slice it, but a bolt of shadow magic immediately knocked him off balance, allowing for the Lich to deliver a kick of his own to his knee, causing him to buckle to the ground.

"Is that all a 'King' can muster?" Vader laughed over the sound of the encroaching storm.

Saying nothing, the Lich thrust the Frostmourne down towards Vader's throat, but the sword found itself being pushed back by the Force itself. Struggling, he put his full weight and more strength into pushing the sword in, but the Sith merely stood and flung the sword away with his other hand using the Force. The King found himself being hoisted up in the air and being choked to death by the dark clad Lord.

"This was hardly even a challenge."

But the Lich King gurgled out a laugh.

"F-Fester in your own s-sickness!"

He reached out and clasped Vader's arm and infected him with the Necrotic Plague. Immediately he began to feel the effects of the plague on his body. Fever, headache, nausea, and many other symptoms flooded his body all at once, causing him to drop the Lich King to his feet. He reclaimed the Frostmourne and walked back over to the downed Sith Lord, literally looking down on him.

Down below, the Imperial Army was storming the Citadel at a fast pace, killing any Scourge that stood in their way and planting bombs in strategic places for "future use".

Back top, however, the Lich King was about to bring the sword down on Vader and end his life, but at the last moment, the Sith used tutaminis to send the Plague out of his body, letting him gain the strength to roll out of the way of Frostmourne.

"What?" the Lich questioned.

"You underestimate my power."

The Sith, now pissed, ripped pieces of the platform off and chucked it at the Lich King, who rolled to dodge the flying pieces of debris. While he was occupied with that, Vader began to rip the Frozen Throne itself out of the ground and threw it at Arthas with tremendous force, but using his Shadow magic he was able to blow it asunder, scattering pieces of stone, metal, and ice all over the platform.

That single action rocked the entire citadel and blew back both armored juggernauts. The Lich King was the first to stand and summoned some of his Scourge to aid him. The ghouls and abominations that arose from the ground itself made a mindless dash towards Vader, who sliced them down effortlessly, but it seemed as though they were endlessly coming after him.

Using the Force, the Scourge were blasted off of the platform and onto either the spires of the Citadel or the battlefield below, crushing any unfortunate Stormtroopers or other Scourge underneath. Surging forwards, Vader sliced towards the Lich King's throat, but the blow was parried and the Sith received a massive punch to the chest. Taking him aback, he stumbled for a second. It hardly hurt, but the Lich King's hand was glowing white to red to black and repeating.

"Thank you for the tribute..."

Suddenly a ghostly copy of Vader himself appeared beside the Lich King. Having stolen a piece of Vader's soul, a copy of him was now fighting alongside Vader's own enemy. The Sith Lord gritted his teeth inside the mask and readied himself, still confident in his abilities to take on the undead fool and his cheap fake.

He rushed towards the duo and first met his blade against the copy's own lightsaber. No one knowing himself better than he himself, the Sith and his copy went blow for blow in parrying each other's attacks while the Lich King watched and waited to make his move. As the original Sith finally got the advantage and pressed the copy into a corner, the Lich jumped in and swung the Frostmourne down towards the back of his helmet, but sensing the attack Vader pushed him away with the Force.

Surprising to Vader, the copy immediately followed his lead and Force pushed him into the Lich and just barely was Vader able to parry the incoming blow from Frostmourne while keeping his clone at bay with the Force. Now the howling storm began to creep in again, slowing down the Sith Lord once again as the duo attempted to strike him down one more time.

The Lich King made swing after swing against the lightsaber and the copy used it's own Force abilities to stalemate Vader, causing the Sith Lord to feel as though the two forces were trying to crush him in-between their strength.

"I've had enough!"

Vader screamed and shook the platform violently before using the Force to pull his copy in and skewer it on his lightsaber, causing it to go back inside of him and turned his full attention to the Lich King.

"Using a fragment of my own soul against me? What kind of power do you possess? Why choose your destruction over joining the Empire and ruling the galaxy?"

The Lich King put both hands on his sword and pressed back. "There are powers inhabiting this universe that a mind such as yours can NOT begin to comprehend!"

Vader blasted his foe across the platform with the Force, allowing him to slightly regain his composure.

"No trickery you can muster will defeat me. Using a fraction of my power and your own strength against me will prove futile as the power I contain is far above you."

"You don't know half of what I'm capable of..."

A prison of ice immediately encased the Sith Lord as the Lich King rushed towards his foe, ready to cut him down with the Frostmourne. Vader, on the other hand, prepared a Force Scream to get him out of the ice, but down below the Storm Troopers were running out of the Citadel, ready to blow the tower to hell and back.

Right as the Lich made it to Vader, the Sith Lord let out a powerful scream, shattering the ice that encased his body and forcing his foe to put his guard up as to not get blasted away from the force of the shout. Reigniting his lightsaber, Vader pressured the Lich to the edge of the platform, trying to knock him off the side and to his doom. Quickly, the Lich King stamped the Sith Lord's foot thus giving him enough time to summon an Abomination to hook Vader away from him.

3!

A shout echoed from down below, immediately notifying Vader of what was to come. The Abomination's hook, unfortunately, dug itself into the calf of the Sith. He let out a pained yell and fell to the ground as he was dragged towards the mass of flesh and blood.

2!

The countdown continued. The Lich King heard it too and looked over the edge of the tower, noticing the explosives the laid around the base. He summoned Sindragosa to his side and looked down on the Sith Lord, who looked up at him with unrivalled hatred.

1!

Explosions rocketed up the walls of the Citadel, rupturing it from the inside out and blowing pieces of it clear across Ice Crown. Sindragosa took flight before the explosions could reach the top of the Citadel. Vader, on the other hand, was being stared down at by this monstrosity of nature and fell down alongside it. Sliding down the side of the tower, Vader raised his leg and used his lightsaber to slice the chain before the Abomination tumbled off the side towards the ground below where it made a wet slap noise.

Using his momentum, Vader leaped off of the tower and onto the back of Sindragosa. The Lich King stood on the dragon's back to face the Sith Lord.

"Most impressive... but you are a fool for not accepting your demise..." the Lich coldly stated.

"I've lived most of my life a fool, but it has never been a hinderance."

The cold steel of the Frostmourne and the lightsaber met once more, sending sparks onto the Storm Troopers below. The Valkyrie arrived to the battlefield below and began to summon more undead to combat the Stormtroopers, reigniting the war that should've ended already, but still both sides fought on.

Lich King and Sith Lord parried each other's blows and danced around what little space they had on the back of the dragon, but neither could truly get the upper hand on the other. Vader attempted to use the Force to throw the Lich off, but a lone Valkyrie interrupted him and tried to push him off. As it was a mild annoyance, Vader sliced her head clean off her shoulders and then parried the next blow from the Lich.

Down below ghouls and Abominations tore Stormtroopers limb from limb, but the higher tech blasters and carpet bombings from the Tie fighters helped keep it equal. Eventually the Valkyries themselves started to die by the hands of the Imperials, allowing some TIE Fighters to turn their attention to Sindragosa.

The mighty frost wyrm destroyed any TIE Fighter that came near her with fire, but eventually they began to land shots on the beast's body. She roared in beastial agony and the shaking threw off the balance of the Lich King, allowing for Vader to finally land a near fatal stab to the King's right shoulder. Recoiling, the Lich used Ice Lock on Vader's foot, dragging him off of Sindragosa in time for the dragon to get blown to smithereens, sending the Lich to the ground. He landed atop a mountain of his own army's corpses, above the surrounding Stormtroopers and now even Vader himself.

Hundreds of blasters were trained on him as he slowly rose to his feet. He surveyed his surroundings and laughed loudly.

"Your army has been defeated and your citadel destroyed, Lich King. Surrender now or feel the full might of the empire weigh down upon your back."

"Like lambs to the slaughter..."

Vader raised his arm, preparing what was left of his army to fire upon the seemingly delusional king. The Lich King, however, raised the Frostmourne high above his head. Vader's senses kicked in and alerted him to something horrible about to happen.

"Frostmourne...! HUNGERS!"

Energy erupted from the sword and arched around the Lich King. Vader used the Force to push himself further away, but could only stand by as he watched the souls of his troops get sucked out of them and fly into the sword itself. The snowstorm grew even worse to the point where visibility hit zero. Relying on his senses, Vader locked blades with the Lich once more. He pushed him away with the Force and prepared to crush his head in the helmet, but a lone blaster shot found its mark in his back.

His own army had been turned into the undead and turned against him. But before he even had the time to process that fact, the Lich King buried the Frostmourne deep within his chest.

"You will make a fine addition to the Scourge..."

The Frostmourne sucked the soul out of the Sith Lord and trapped it within itself. His body went limp and fell over in the snow which slowly turned red from the blood pouring out of his chest and back. The Lich King laughed a deep, cold laugh as the Sith was then reanimated and made to serve him instead, and with intergalactic travel at the Lich's disposal, the galaxy had a new faction to worry about.

KO!

Boomstick: Of course Arthas won! He had the high ground in the end there!

Wiz: This was an extremely close fight. While both had very similar levels of strength, speed, and durability, they had wildly different powersets that allowed for either to end the fight from the very start. But before we get to that, lets compare their feats.

Boomstick: As we mentioned before, Vader surviving the explosion of that weapons factory is about 58 kilotons of TNT, but the Lich King is stronger than Thrall who created a storm in a couple seconds which came out to be 5 megatons, meaning Arthas is a roughly 86 times tougher than Vader could hope to overcome.

Wiz: And as for speed both were nearly even as they scale to others who have dodged natural lightning or reacted to it as well. Even if we gave Vader his feats from the legends continuity, such as scaling to Obi-Wan reacting to blaster fire in a nanosecond or Yarael Poof containing enough energy to destroy a planet with the Force, the Lich King could still compare via scaling to the Old Gods and lightspeed spells such as Starfall.

Boomstick: Though comparing the experience and skill of each other, Vader had the clear advantage, but due to the Helm of Domination and Arthas' own experience he comes up only just a little short.

Wiz: The true answer to who wins this battle comes from their abilities; The Force vs The Lich's Magic. First off, Vader could redirect any harmful energy such as Shadow Magic away from him using Tutaminis and could control the flow of battle using the Force's many abilities, but against the Lich King that's as far as it'll go.

Boomstick: Any speed advantage Vader may have from that nanosecond feat goes out the window with Remorseless Winter and Ice Lock, which either slow down the Sith Lord or render him immobile completely. Even cloning Vader using his soul or summoning the undead would cause Vader to slow down too!

Wiz: Which brings us to the next point: Frostmourne itself. The soul stealing properties of the blade make it so that even clashing with Vader's lightsaber could take Vader's soul from him, and he can even use it from a long range. If Vader didn't react right away, he would die instantly as he has no resistance to soul manipulation.

Boomstick: Which is what this fight boils down to: who pulls off their wincon first. Vader could use his telepathy to figure out the Lich's weakness in taking off the helmet, yes, but with two minds inhabiting the Lich King it would take a little bit longer for him to figure out how to handle Arthas while dealing with his physical attacks.

Wiz: If Vader could find out about removing the Helm of Domination to depower Arthas, it wouldn't matter much as the real problem child is the Frostmourne, which Vader can't do much about since any clash would result in his death and Frostmourne had to be destroyed by a sword tailor made to shatter it: the Ashbringer.

Boomstick: Meanwhile all the Lich King had to do was freeze him, slow him, summon the undead, or do all three at once and either lovetap him with Frostmourne or use Fury of Frostmourne to instantly end the life of the Sith Lord.

Wiz: The legacy of Vader and the Force may have made him a tough foe, but the speed altering, undead summoning, and soul sucking powers of the Lich King proved to be too much.

Boomstick: All's fair in love and War-craft but Arthas soul-sucked the fun out of everything and proved to Vader life can be a huge lich.

Wiz: The winner is the Lich King.
