Boomstick: And Interestingly, always involve a Batman... I wonder if "Batman & Robin" was in the Dark Multiverse, then something very bad happened and Batman was involved.
Nyxs: I doubt it, but they are right in that, in these universes, Batman was involved and was even the cause of these events.
Wiz: This cause the creation of six evil versions of Batman, which are the fusion of this with another character. Batman The Devastator.

Devastator destroys into battle![]
Boomstick: *Reads comment* Batman the Devestator for the win? Where's the research in that?
Wiz: The Devastator, originating in Earth -1, is one of the Batmen in the Dark Multiverse.
Boomstick: The classic showdown between Batman and Superman occurs here!
Wiz: Well, yes, after massive destruction and many lives were taken, but only when this world's Superman kills his Lois Lane is when Batman decides to fight.
Boomstick: Bats equips himself with a kryptonite spear and the Doomsday Virus, just in case something wrong happens. In this case, Superman lasers an arm off of Bats and gloats about how weak everybody is.
Wiz: That is, until Batman infects himself with the Doomsday Virus. He ends up killing his world's Superman with ease, but at the cost of destroying his world.
Boomstick: After joining the Dork - er, I mean, Dark Knights, he proves to be a valuable asset. He defeats Prime Earth's Wally West, infected Lois and Supergirl, and even catapulted Lobo to the sun!
Wiz: Devastator ended up throwing Lobo approximately 150000000 kilometers into the sun. In this case, Devastator has monstrous amounts of strength with the Doomsday Virus. Being able to defeat the mentioned figures from above, he can adapt to the environment just as well.
Boomstick: Like being able to show off Kryptonite breath? And magically summoning spikes from the ground? I wouldn't be surprised if this monster can fly.
Wiz: Devastator has also been shown to transform in and out of Doomsday form at will, able to disguise himself as Bruce Wayne, shown when infecting Lois in Metropolis.
Boomstick: As a Doomsday, he has pretty much everything covered for your day-to-day Doomsday. When Supes of Earth -1 zapped Bats' arm off, he was able to regenerate a new one.
Wiz: Additionally, when the Dark Knights banded together to try to engulf the DC Multiverse in Darkness, they defeated several Justice League members with ease, including some of the core members, such as Superman, Wonder Woman, Hal Jordan, Aquaman, and Cyborg. In this case, Devastator pummeled Superman of Prime Earth with ease.
Boomstick: Devastator’s actually just as fast as Superman - and probably even more durable. And he isn’t a slouch at using his fists either.
Wiz: Devastator can also adapt to the environment extremely quickly, to which he can fight in nearly any setting in battle with ease, ranging from his home world in Earth -1 to Challenger’s Mountain in Prime Earth.
Boomstick: However, he's got to have weaknesses. He ain't too bright upon transforming into a monster, and he just gets dumber the longer he's a Doomsday. This makes him more aggressive but dumber in combat.
Wiz: Additionally, since he's part of the Dark Multiverse, he can be affected by Nth Metal, which significantly damages his body. When Superman, equipped with Nth Metal, came back for a rematch, he easily defeated Bruce, and possibly killed him.
Boomstick: Nevertheless, he really oughta to bring DOOM to his opponents, using the environment and his body to fight his foes. That’s one spicy meatball with so many pros and so few cons.
Devastator: You made them believe. You fooled them into always thinking that you would always be there for them, to save them, to lift them up, to make them better. And that belief is exactly what will drag your entire world to devastation.
(Death Battle Doors slam shut, finishing Devastator's bio and opening Drowned's.)
Drowned makes a splash![]
Wiz: The Drowned is the only female Dark Knight on the team, as well as the only one who has a different name: Bryce Wayne, rather than Bruce Wayne. The genders of this world are reversed, though they retain some resemblences to Prime Earth.
Boomstick: Here ol' Bryce killed a whole lotta metahumans in her world. Why? Well, she's in love with Sylvester Kyle, who's actually male. Then we hear about how the metahumans supposedly kill Bryce's lover.
Wiz: Bryce, in retribution to seeing Sylvester get killed, massacred most of them, deciding that trying to make Gotham a better city to live in was merely a waste of time.
Boomstick: Then Aquawoman shows up and tries to talk about peace treaties... with her army. This doesn't end well.
Wiz: The "peace talks" lead to a full-blown war, resulting in humans against metahumans. The end result is Bryce slaying Aquawoman. This leads to the metahumans ending up flooding Gotham in return for the death of their queen.
Boomstick: Prior to Bryce witnessing the death of her world, she ended up performing surgery to survive the Atlanteans from flooding Gotham.
Wiz: This process contributed in being adapted towards the water, being able to breathe underwater, develop hyrdokinetic powers, and corrupt enemies with an army called Dead Water. She is just as skilled, if not more, in aquatic environments compared to land.
Boomstick: Drowned, in her debut, managed to defeat Aquaman and corrupt Mera into part of her Dead Water army. Ooooh... that doesn't look so good for Mera, Wiz.
Wiz: With Dead Water up her disposal, she can infect and manipulate water as well as even people into certain shapes that allow the army to overwhelm opponents. In addition to having an army of Dead Water, she is also a serious foe when it comes to superhuman qualities, able to overpower Atlanteans with no serious injuries, can travel miles underwater without much sweat, and is superior to Aquaman in terms of strength.
Boomstick: In addition to having a great army and having superhuman traits, she has proven to be skilled with technology, able to create Dead Water all by herself. She also proven to be highly skilled with the trident stole back on her Earth, able to use it against her opponents with ease.
Wiz: However, Drowned also has a few weaknesses. Like the other Dark Knights, she is vulnerable Nth Metal. Aquaman used this after his defeat to kill Drowned without much difficulty. Additionally, she prefers to fight in the water rather than on land, proving to be more adapted there since the Atlanteans drowned Gotham City on her world.
Boomstick: Not to mention going insane after seeing the love of her life die... although this is the main reason why she is a Dark Knight. This could also be the reason why the surgery damaged her physical appearance too.
Wiz: Despite her flaws, Drowned is a terrifying opponent that can use her hydrokinetic powers to overwhelm her opponents with ease.
Drowned: My amnesty begins here. I light my signal. My light...to show this world my intent...I'm going to drown it all. This whole world. Trust me on that.
(Death Battle Doors slam shut, finishing Drowned's and opening Merciless'.)
Merciless wages war![]
Boomstick: Hey, look! It’s Ares, only second-rate!
Wiz: The Merciless is another version of Bruce Wayne from the Dark Multiverse, Earth -12. Here, he, along with his world’s Wonder Woman, Amazons, and Justice League, embark on a two-year war against Ares and his forces in order to take of the warlord’s helmet.
Boomstick: This helmet magnifies the powers of somebody by a hundred, which means you wouldn’t want to get hit by somebody wearing it. Especially if you’re in the middle of a war.
Wiz: When Batman and Wonder Woman reached Ares, all of the Amazons and Ares’ forces perished. Batman had just witnessed Diana being stunned, but assumed she was deceased by one of Ares’ attacks. In anger, he put on Ares’ helmet, killed the former God of War, and went on to wage war against his entire world, even killing Diana.
Boomstick: The helmet corrupted his mind into him thinking winning was the only thing that mattered. Although, this could actually make him more scary than you think...
Wiz: Thanks to that, he was able to become a ferocious and intimidating foe. His God Killer Sword, as one of his primary weapons, functions as a tool to try to slay gods. Deathstroke, who had the original version, used it against Lapetus.
Boomstick: But Wiz, we didn’t see him use his sword against gods!
Wiz: While this is true, it is stated he killed various heroes and villains on his Earth. We can also infer that he even defeated some Justice League members in Prime Earth after he became a Dark Knight.
Boomstick: Like the rest of the Batmen duplicates, he nearly turned the multiverse into darkness.
Wiz: In addition to having his God Killer Sword, he also has a Golden Dachrima. This can summon undead spirits from his world as well as other fallen soldiers.
Boomstick: He has also been shown to utilize pathokinesis, which is the ability to control emotions. He uses this to infect others with tendencies of anger and provocation.
Wiz: Lastly, Merciless also can absorb a certain amount of energy. For example, when A.R.G.U.S. dropped a nuke on him, he absorbed the energy and got stronger.
Boomstick: However, he who has strengths also has weak points. The helmet made him stronger, but it corrupted his mind into thinking victory was the one thing that mattered.
Wiz: Additionally, like the other Dark Knights, he has a weakness to Nth Metal. His strengths couldn’t prevent the Justice League from defeating him.
Boomstick: His emotion control didn’t affect any of the Justice League members, so basically if people have enough will and smarts, they can shrug off this.
Wiz: His helmet, if taken off, would remove his powers and basically make him a sitting duck. Bruce easily took it off during his debut, so if anybody can manage to remove his helmet and strike with enough force, he can be taken down.
Boomstick: Nevertheless, this warlord is a powerful foe that cannot be defeated easily.
Merciless: I look at him and see the man I used to be. He fights with mercy. With restraint. Which is why he'll lose. And this world will fall to Barbatos.
(Death Battle Doors slam shut, finishing Merciless' and opening Laughs')
Batman Who Laughs clowns with his opponents![]
Wiz: This version, like many others, have Bruce Wayne taking in the cowl of Batman. What he didn’t know was how far the Joker was tipping the scales. Meet Bruce Wayne of Earth -22. One night, the Joker ended up capturing Batman and did various atrocities to try to infuriate the Caped Crusader.
Boomstick: The Joker killed all of Bats’ Rogues, dissolved James Gordon in acid, and blew up various buildings in Gotham. To add the cherry on top, he lined families up, killed their parents, and Jokerized their children. Resembling the death of Thomas and Martha Wayne, but in a totally messed up way.
Wiz: Bruce, having seen enough, snapped the Joker’s neck, which unleashed a green gas out of his archnemesis’ mouth. Several days in, when the Bat-Family went in the Batcave to train, they tried to talk with Bruce about finding a cure.
Boomstick: Unfortunately, they're just too late, and they get gunned down. And Bats actually smiles... gross. This isn't getting any better from here, doesn't it?
Wiz: Indeed it doesn't. One week later, Batman visits the Justice League Watchtower and slaughters the League, save for Superman and his immediate family. Kal pleads for Bruce to search for good, but by this point, Batman's transformation into the Batman Who Laughs is complete, as he tosses Black Kryptonite to Superman and his family.
Boomstick: Let me guess, he now takes over the world, and conquers the Dark Multiverse? Better nerf Laughing Man.
Wiz: He succeeded in killing his entire world off, and would have engulfed the universe in darkness had the Justice League not intervened with Nth Metal. After the Dark Knights failed in doing that, Batman Who Laughs remains in Prime Earth as a member of the Legion of Doom as well as a major foe to Batman.
Boomstick: Since he doesn’t care about his code, he can basically do whatever he wants with his weapons. Take firearms. He’s horrifyingly accurate in using them, shown when he utilizes the machine guns against the Bat-Family.
Wiz: He is aware of the Multiverse and the Dark Multiverse, thanks to Barbatos. He even knows a being called Perpetua, who possesses seemingly infinite power.
Boomstick: He also can specialize in the use of reality warping, as shown with his metal cards. The problem is, he gave them to villains with no imagination. I mean look at Riddler! A reality warper defeated by some of the GOTHAM villains!
Wiz: His Robins from Earth -22 are also no joke. They savagely beat and likely cannibalize on people who stand their way.
Boomstick: Lastly, his hand-to-hand combat and daunting intelligence proves to be his major trump cards. Laughs proved to be more than a match for regular Batman’s fighting techniques. Laughing Man likely has not lost a fight in a one-on-one this way.
Wiz: Intelligence helped him recognize strengths and weaknesses, and was able to garner the weapons needed to systematically butcher the entire Justice League of his world. He is a master of escape, his world’s greatest dectective, and one that has cosmic awareness.
Boomstick: However, Laughomatic ain’t unstoppable. He has been taken down by Batman and Joker, and, like all beings in the Dark Multiverse, is weak against Nth Metal.
Wiz: Without preparation time, his Robins, and reality warping cards, he is armed with only firearms, intelligence, and fighting.
Boomstick: His arrogance can be a flaw as well, since he elimated everybody in Earth -22 and has nearly succeeded in taking over the Multiverse.
Wiz: He has been shown to underestimate Prime Earth’s Batman during the final confrontation in Dark Knights: Metal, proclaiming he knew everything about Batman and Joker in general. Fortunately, Batman and Joker of Prime Earth were able to take down the mind-breaker, but he still remains a major foe to reckon with.
Boomstick: Despite his flaws, he has proven to be a daunting foe with his intelligence and hand-to-hand combat techniques.
Batman Who Laughs: Take a good look Bruce. What do you see? You've never fought someone with all your training. Your discipline. See it yet? I'm not him in a batsuit. I'm you. You. How you are supposed to be without the codes. Without the rules. Except one. BATMAN. ALWAYS. WINS.
(Death Battle Doors slam shut, finishing Laughs' and opening Dawnbreaker's.)
The Dawnbreaker chokes the light![]
Wiz: The Dawnbreaker is the youngest of all Dark Knights, but tends to be one of the most wrathful, despite wearing a Green Lantern Ring.
Boomstick: Why didn’t he get a red one? Red’s the color of vengeance and anger.
Wiz: Apparently, in his home on Earth -32, he has apparently conquered all emotions after the death of his parents. Thus, a Green Lantern Ring notified Bruce of this. However, he only thought of the ring as a weapon to kill Joe Chill, and tried to use it this way.
Boomstick: The thing about the ring, though, was that Little Brucie was able to corrupt it, and sure enough, killed Joe Chill and became a Green Lantern. One messed up kind.
Wiz: Not long after this, he began to kill criminals in his Gotham, ranging from Scarecrow to Penguin, until James Gordon decided to step in and confront Bruce about it.
Boomstick: This marks the end of the GCPD though, as in return, Lantern used the ring to kill Gordon and probably the police as well. The Guardians of the Universe and the entire Green Lantern Corps show up, here to save the day...
Wiz: This doesn’t end well for both teams, since Bruce uses his ring to eradicate them. After feeling like he wasn’t Bruce Wayne or Green Lantern, he decided to turn into Batman: The Dawnbreaker.
Boomstick: He didn’t get to celebrate for long, as his world began to crumble and break apart from, you guessed it, the things from the ring.
Wiz: After being enlisted to join the Dark Knights, he came to Prime Earth and turned Coast City into darkness, defeating Hal Jordan along the way. Like the other Dark Knights, he nearly engulfed the Multiverse in darkness had the Justice League not intervened with Nth Metal.
Boomstick: Thanks to his custom Green Lantern Ring, he is able to create dark constructs that can quickly defeat opponents. Does the ring have the same properties as a Green Lantern Ring?
Wiz: Yes and no. While Bruce can morph the shape of his constructs via his imagination, they come off as much more corrupt and darker than a typical kind. This includes monstrous hands and grotesque monsters.
Boomstick: Little Brucie - I mean, Dawnbreaker, can use the dark energy to overpower and negate other light sources, which included Hal Jordan as an example.
Wiz: In addition, the energy projections he emitted were powerful enough to disintegrate people like James Gordon, and even disintegrate the Guardians of the Univerese as well as the Green Lantern Corps of his world.
Boomstick: Given that he’s a Green Lantern, he’s able to FLY! And, well, have, superhuman strength.
Wiz: Lastly, he has extremely high willpower, able to corrupt a Green Lantern Ring minutes after receiving it. After that, he slaughtered the GCPD, a number of villains, the Green Lantern Corps, as well as even the Guardians of the Univerese of his world.
Boomstick: In anger, he defeated and almost killed Hal of Prime Earth before the latter was whisked away by some figure. Wiz, you forgot he nearly conquered the Multiverse!
Wiz: He nearly drowned the multiverse in Darkness. But we emphasized that with the other Knights.
Boomstick: Oh yeah.
Wiz: However, Dawnbreaker has flaws. Like before, he can be hurt by Nth Metal, which badly damages him. Unlike any of the other Dark Knights, he doesn't have any fighting tactics up his disposal, which means if he doesn't have his ring...
Boomstick: A Batman will be turned into a Dead Man. If you're able to kill him first. And Brucie's still a teenager underneath his Green Lantern outfit, since he's prone to throw tantrums over his parents.
Wiz: This would leave him being more reckless in his attacks, leaving him more open to attacks that are more strategized.
Boomstick: Don't be fooled by this tiny teenager! This Knight can really darken the battle quickly with his ring!
Dawnbreaker: With darkness black, I choke the light! No brightest day escapes my sight! I turn the dawn into midnight! Beware my power... Dawnbreaker's Might! (Recites corrupted Green Lantern Corps Oath)
(Death Battle Doors slam shut, finishing Dawnbreaker's and opening Murder Machine's)
Murder Machine hacks into Death Battle![]
Wiz: The Murder Machine. The Alfred in Earth -44, like many interpretations, assisted Bruce Wayne in his crusade to fight crime, and was a father figure to the latter.
Boomstick: The butler's life came to an end when several enemies of Batman broke into the Batcave, attempting to interrogate the location of Wayne. Alfred doesn't budge, and ends up getting his back broken by Bane, just like Bats did on Prime Earth... only this time, the butler doesn't survive with thirty-six broken bones.
Wiz: In grievous retribution to Alfred's death, Bruce, along with Cyborg, decide to build an AI dubbed the Alfred Protocol that represents Alfred. Unfortunately, it malfunctions, and ends up slaughtering most, if not all, of Batman's villains and the inmates of Arkham.
Boomstick: When Cyborg and Bruce try to stop it, Bruce allowed the Alfred Protocol modify him. In a good way for Wayne, not so much for everybody else.
Wiz: The Alfred Protocol modfied Bruce's body into a mechanical one, took away his ability to feel fear and sadness, and gave him new cybernetic advancements to utilize. He, along with his AI, began to butcher people he deemed as a threat. The Justice League, unable to counteract the machines' cybernetic advancements, ended up getting defeated, and likely killed.
Boomstick: Cyborg didn't get a pleasant death either from the Murder Machine. After the latter was enlisted to join the Dark Knights, he ended up hacking into the Justice League Watchtower of Prime Earth.
Wiz: This would be used base of operations for the supervillains, in which the Cyborg of Prime Earth attempted to fight off the Alfred Protocol and Murder Machine. However, Victor isn't successful, and the Dark Knights ended up tearing the hero apart piece by piece.
Boomstick: After that, like earlier, Bats, along with the other Knights, attempted to drown the multiverse in darkness... but they failed due to the Justice League coming back to fight them with Nth Metal.
Wiz: Green Lantern is shown to pulverize the Murder Machine, effectively defeating him and probably killing him.
Boomstick: Murder Machine's got plenty of buffs from the AI. I mean, first off, his whole body's made of metal! Metal that can't be harmed by both Cyborgs!
Wiz: In addition to having a visual redesign, his cybernetic abilities can be used to clone himself multiple times into different locations, fire energy blasts that can damage people like Green Lantern, and can project force fields that shield against other attacks.
Boomstick: Plus, this guy's is super in anything! His strength, durability, and speed is surprising. Look at how he defeated Prime Earth's Cyborg! I'm surprised Victor couldn't do anything to his body.
Wiz: In addition to having these enhanced traits, Murder Machine is also highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat and gadgetry.
Boomstick: He’s still Batman, though, so he can overpower most people even without the armor. His gadgetry? I think it’s still bat-themed. Wiz, didn’t the Murder Machine’s computer knowledge help create the Alfred Protocol?
Wiz: It played a significant role to developing the AI’s programming, but Victor from Earth -44 also did a lot of work in building the AI.
Boomstick: But they found out too late that Alfred didn’t function correctly. This wasn’t a good idea for Cyborg to help Bruce in the first place.
Wiz: With the addition of shape-shifting, Murder Machine can transform into various technological equipment. He can interface with not just computers, but likely any system revolving around technology.
Boomstick: Though he isn't immune to Nth Metal. Just look at Hal Jordan breaking Murder Machine into pieces in the final battle!
Wiz: Murder Machine still broods over the death of his Alfred, which may cause him to get distracted from focusing on the main task.
Boomstick: BOT don't let Nth Metal and Alfred distract you from Robot Bruce! His excellent computer abilities can quickly destroy you!
Murder Machine: And that is your greatest folly, Victor. You are the weakest of the League. Because if you were willing to cast off your humanity, you would be the strongest. You have no comprehension of the power that resides within you. And so we will take it to rewrite your world in the name of Barbatos.
(Death Battle Doors slam shut, finishing Murder Machine's bio and opening up for Red Death's.)
Red Death speedblitzes in![]
Boomstick: You're too slow! Come on, step it up! What, Wiz? It's the Flash, but with Batman in it!
Wiz: Bruce Wayne of Earth -52 once fought crime with his Robins. In this case, Dick, Jason, Tim, and even his son Damian. However, as time went on, Bruce's sidekicks perished throughout various missions, leading him to sought the Speed Force. He confiscated the weaponry of the Rogues to use it against the Flash.
Boomstick: Wait, hold up. There's actually Flash villains like Cold, Heat Wave, and Weather Wizard from the planet?
Wiz: Well, yes, but we never actually see them in the comic. Anyways, when Barry Allen, who was the Flash of this world, refused in giving Batman the Speed Force, the latter promptly attacked. When the Flash managed to put down Bruce, the Caped Crusader managed to let his guard down, allowing him to promptly turn the tables and defeat the Scarlet Speedster.
Boomstick: After that, Bats drove Barry right into the Speed Force, resulting in... the Red Death, a combination of Batman and Flash in one body! Except, it's Bruce in charge while Barry's stuck in Bats' mind. Oof. Now, watch them - er, I mean - Bruce slaughtering his Rogues gallery!
Wiz: Unfortunately, he couldn't save his Gotham or his world, in which the Batman Who Laughs offering the Red Death a spot with the Dark Knights.
Boomstick: After that, Red Death confronts regular Flash and nearly kills him, had Doctor Fate not swooped and saved the day.
Wiz: Before the final battle between the Dark Knights and Justice League, Flash tricks Bruce into being overloaded with positive energy, which actually turns Red Death into Barry Allen of Earth -52.
Boomstick: However, Barry doesn’t get to live for long, and ends up getting killed when a dose of dark energy consumes him.
Wiz: Red Death’s primary strength comes from the Speed Force. The Speed Force allows him to enhance his reflexes, stamina, agility, intelligence, and of course, speed. When he fused with his world’s Flash, he easily took out most of his rogues gallery without giving them much time to react.
Boomstick: In addition to having speed, he leaves off his signature: bats! However, these bats age people by hundreds of years. And once they touch you, you’re bound to get old real fast.
Wiz: Like the other Dark Knights, he is adept at hand-to-hand combat, and also specializes in gadgetry. As seen when trying to get the Flash’s powers, he uses the gadgets from Flash’s Rogues, as well as his Batmobile.
Boomstick: Red Death isn’t without weak points. After driving into the Speed Force, he’s forced to share his body with Barry.
Wiz: The latter occasionally tries to break free, which can result him to being vulnerable for a short time. Like the previous six knights, he’s weak against Nth Metal, which causes his body to be badly damaged for a short time.
Boomstick: He’s also still unhappy over the loss of his Robins, which leads him to being more edgy but less composed in battle.
Wiz: When Flash of Prime Earth caught Bruce off guard with positive energy, it turned him back to Barry Allen.
Boomstick: Because the two shared the same body, Bruce was in charge, and probably because Bats was more negative than positive, Barry rose up.
Wiz: While the first two reasons Boomstick listed is true, the third one is not likely, since Barry of Earth -52 is also from the Dark Multiverse.
Boomstick: Oh come on Wiz! I was on a roll here!
Wiz: Don't take his wrathfulness and connection to Barry lightly; his speed can instantly slow your progress down.
Red Death: My name is Bruce Wayne. I am vengeance. I am justice. I am Batman: the Red Death.
(Death Battle Doors Slam shut, finishing Red Death's bio and preparing for the battle.
Prelude[]
Wiz: Alright, the combatnants are set. It's time to end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: Vote for which Dark Knight you are rooting and betting for! Red Death's gonna be my pick!
Earth 451208-212020125:
Emperor Joker laughed with glee. Why? Because he created a scenario where all the Dark Knights are pitted each other to the death. Teamwork is out of the question.
Emperor Joker's game, Gotham City:
Barbatos glared at each Dark Knight with contempt. They were so close in casting the multiverse in darkness. They had virtually no chance in failing against the pitiful Justice League of Prime Earth. The Batmen were superior in countless categories. And yet the one wrench in the plan was Nth Metal. Barbatos eyes flared with rage, but as he spoke, kept his voice to a medium:
Barbatos: You have all severely disappointed me. I had enlisted you in what should be a trivial task for all of you. You all defeated your counterparts from your worlds. You even defeated Prime Earth's so-called heroes. Now... only one of you will leave here alive.
Barbatos snapped his fingers. The seven Batmen were transferred in a desolate city in a different planet. Buildings were destroyed, houses leveled, life vacant in this world. Laughs recognized it right away, cackling.
Laughs: Ah. The city from Earth -451208. Where everybody died pitifully, unable to combat a simple asteroid.
Drowned: Your big mouth caused us to lose, Bruce.
Devastator: I hate all of you! This is all of your fault! All of you did this!
Red Death: If it wasn’t for your childishness, Dawnbreaker, none of this would have happened.
Dawnbreaker: Me? You’re only half Batman, so-called Red Death!
Murder Machine: You leave me no choice but to kill all of you.
Merciless: Then let's end this here.
No More Mercy!
Pre-Polls[]
Fight![]
Combatants remaining: 7
Devastator starts the battle by charging forward and attempting to pummel Batman Who Laughs. The latter, seeing his rush, steps aside, causing the Doomsday to miss. Drowned conjures Dead Water towards Merciless, the army's voices screeching like metal. Merciless dodges, and plunges his sword to the ground, creating a giant shockwave. Dawnbreaker uses his ring to create grotesque hands, successfully grabbing Murder Machine. The cybernetic Batman fires energy projectiles at the hand, releasing its grip.
Laughs: Oooooh, look at that. Mindlessly charging like some of my foes from my world.
Devastator: You will perish like my Superman!
Laughs sends out two of his Robins on Drowned, uses his third one Robin and his firearms towards the Merciless, bullets spraying around the warlord. Unfortunately, they only bounced around his armor harmlessly. The God of War slices the Robin in half. Laughs then decided to turn his attention towards Drowned, realizing that none of his tactics were working. Devastator, deciding to use his Doomsday properties on Laughs, attempted to impale the One who Talks by sending spikes from the ground. The Clown King of Horror dodges several spikes before tripping over and getting right back up. The Robins, on the other hand...
Robins: CROW CROW CROW CROW CROW CROW CROW!
Drowned utilizes her army again, and manages the slow down the Clown King of Horror’s minions before finally turning them into her pawns. The Batwoman grins at Laughs, seeing his options are on thin ice. Red Death is seen trying to speedblitz Merciless. Unfortunately, the God of War recognizes the Speedster’s motives, and slashes him across the chest, unleashing blood. Murder Machine sends an energy projectile that knocks Dawnbreaker back.
Murder Machine: I’m afraid you’re running out of options. I’ve got plenty of arnesal with my technology.
Dawnbreaker: This is for my parents!
Drowned, having had enough of Laughs’ games, charges in. Before the One who Talks could do anything, she impales him with her trident. As a last resort, Laughs tries to take her down by his fists, but the Batwoman finishes the former leader of Dark Knights by sending out the sea monsters, enveloping him. Laughs grins, feeling that he was nothing but a bad joke to everybody else. He takes his last breath.
Drowned: Welcome to the club.
Batman Who Laughs Eliminated!
Combatants remaining: 6
Bryce decides to take down Merciless next. Red Death runs around in circles around the Merciless, the former using his trail of bats in an attempt to age the warlord. The latter thrusts his sword to the ground, which unleashes another shockwave, dispersing the bats. The War God uses his Golden Drachma, summoning an army of Amazons from his home world. The Amazons split into three groups, targeting Drowned, Devastator, and Red Death. Bryce unleashes her horde upon the soldiers, Devastator smashes them into pulp, while Red Death speeds in... until a soldier cuts his back.
Red Death: RAAAAGH!
Barry (inside of Bruce's head): Bruce, no! Get out of-
Red Death: Shut up!
The Speed Psycho heads towards Drowned, rapidly punching her in the stomach before sending her away with a generated Speed Force tornado. She picks up her trident and gets ready to rumble.
Drowned: AGH! Die, you psychopath!
The Batwoman swings her trident towards the red blur, only to miss. Devastator angrily pushes Merciless to the ground, pounding him thrice until the God of War plunges his sword into the Doomsday's fist. Merciless, slashes Doomsday's legs multiple times before sending the monster away with a stab on the heel. Meanwhile, the Dawnbreaker retreats, firing corrupted energy blast after energy blast. The Murder Machine decides to pursue the Green Lantern, creating a force field around himself should the Dawnbreaker ambush him with ranged projectiles.
Murder Machine: Perhaps he isn't as weak as I thought. I must parry bigger threats before fighting him.
Back on the ground, Devastator is seen howling in fury, repeatedly trying to pulverize a Red Death running around him in circles. He misses every single time with his spikes, resulting in bats swarming around his face. Drowned and Merciless are seen clashing, both sides clashing with their swords... until a killing blow cuts through. A shadow casts over them. A person kneels briefly, before collapsing on the ground, cursing the killer before taking their last breath. Merciless unsheaths his sword before searching for Red Death.
Drowned eliminated!
Combatants remaining: 5
Devastator, seeing Murder Machine approaching him, attempts to smash him into scrap metal. The cybernetic vigilante ducks, and decides to tire the Doomsday Batman out. Murder Machine zooms off, with Devastator roaring at the latter to get over here and fight. Earth -44's Bruce fires several energy blasts, while Devastator dodges and rushes in. Dawnbreaker, who was retreating up until now, fired several beams from his ring towards Murder Machine. The Doomsday, seeing Dawnbreaker attacking, decides to try to catch him off guard by trying to pound him repeatedly. He misses, resulting in the Dawnbreaker punishing him by firing dark constructs. Meanwhile, Merciless and Red Death are seen using their respective pawns to try to overpower the other. The bats are seen clutching to the faces of the Amazons, with the Merciless' army struggling to get rid of them. Finally, the armies fall, unable to continue.
Merciless: Your speed is useless against me! You should submit to me and suffer a painless death!
Red Death: I intend to end you in a snap!
Red Death creates a tornado from the Speed Force, whirling the warlord around a dozen times before sending him towards a destroyed building. The God of War, though dizzy, gets up and searches for the Speedster. The red blur spins around him, delivering many jabs to the Merciless' body, head to toes. The fastest man of Earth -52 stops spinning, and looks at a battered Dark Knight from Earth -12.
Red Death: Any last words, tiny Ares?
Merciless: You got too cocky.
Merciless delivers a slash at the Red Death's knees, causing the corrupted Flash to writhe in pain. Before Earth -12's warrior could execute another blow, the half-Bruce knocks the sword away. The Speedster, without hesitation, knocks the God of War's helmet off. Both exchange several blows to the skull with each other before collapsing to the ground. It seems that both of them KO'ed each other. However, one Bruce gets up. The Red Death, clutching his chest, picks up the Merciless' sword. Red Death delivers the finishing touch, before the warlord could fight back. He understood that his war was finally over, and closed his eyes.
Merciless eliminated!

Red Death looked around him. Nobody was there. Using what was left of his strength, he saw the other three Dark Knights making the battlefield a bigger mess than usual. Murder Machine noticed a red blur in the distance. Within seconds, the former zoomed in and striked the Speedster down. Red Death tries to get up and speed off, but the Technological Terror punches him back down. Murder Machine delivers a punch that breaks the Speedster's back, causing him to howl in pain.
Barry (inside of Bruce’s head): Bruce... I never wanted... to end this way. We could have done great things together.
Red Death: You should have given me the Speed Force when you had the chance.
With an energy beam, the Murder Machine obliterated the speediest of all Dark Knights. Red Death was no more.
Red Death eliminated!
Combatants remaining: 3
Murder Machine: You were never trustworthy in the first place.
Dawnbreaker and Devastator are trading numerous blows from the dark constructs and Doomsday spikes respectively. The Green Lantern Batman was furious, the feeling mutual with Devastator. The duo were tanking blows that didn’t seem to faze them in the slightest; instead ig seemingly fueled their power.
Dawnbreaker: Die! Die!
Devastator: Kill me if you can!
Murder Machine cuts in with a punch to Dawnbreaker’s stomach and Devastator’s eyes. Taking his chances, he fires energy beams that resulted in them getting clocked back. The three remaining Knights gazed at each other with a burning hatred. They wanted blood, and lots of it. A gust of wind swept over them.
Dawnbreaker, interrupting the silence, blackens the environment quickly. Murder Machine and Devastator looked around. The next thing they knew, hundreds of grotesque monstrosities appeared, ranging from hands to hellish creatures, all wanting to devour two Batmen. The young Batman was floating right in front of the Knights, ready for hell to break.
Murder Machine rapidly activates a force field, while Devastator utilizes his Doomsday powers to the maximum. The monsters of Dawnbreaker’s imagination clawed at the air, screeching for death. The cybernetic Batman converts his arms into blades, taking out some monsters while the Destroyer uses his spikes to impale the creations before causing them to disintegrate. However, dozens more swarm in, clawing at both Dark Knights. Murder Machine’s shield breaks, Devastator suffers claws that scratch him from head to toe.
Dawnbreaker, seeing their struggles, taps in more ring power to end them. The Dark Knights looked exhausted over the chaos.
Dawnbreaker: It’s over! Why won’t you two go to hell?
While the Green Lantern was speaking, Murder Machine zoomed in and sends Dawnbreaker to the ground. The cybernetic vigilante tries to pull of the ring, but gets tackled by Devastator from behind.
Devastator: He’s my kill, robot! Now you die by my hand!
The Doomsday Batman rapidly delivers punches to the Dawnbreaker, anger flaring up inside the former. The young Dark Knight attempts to fight back by sending beams of green at the Destroyer’s eyes, to no avail. Ripping Dawnbreaker’s arm off, the Green Lantern yells out in pain. He realizes that he’s no longer Dawnbreaker. He’s Bruce, and a dead one. Devastator summons spikes off the ground, impaling Dawnbreaker’s chest and legs. Destroyer then throws the former Green Lantern towards the sun, incinerating the latter’s corpse.
Dawnbreaker Eliminated!
Combatants remaining: 2
Devastator had just finished throwing Dawnbreaker into the sun. Murder Machine gazed at the Destroyer. The latter did the same. The two former heroes breathed heavily for moments. The two former heroes knew that one of them was going to continue serving Barbatos. It would be monster vs. machine.
Devastator: You're a powerful foe, but I must continue to serve my master.
Murder Machine: Incorrect. I will be the one who will be rewarded.
The Doomsday Batman grabs Murder Machine and smashes him to the floor. Murder Machine blasts the Destroyer in the face and generates another force field. The cybernetic vigilante then converts his arms into blades. Devastator unleashes some of his spores from his body, separating and converting them into large spheres. The Doomsday Bruce fires away, with the Technological Terror slashing them, seemingly disintegrating them. The latter slashes Doomsday in the chest, causing Devastator to roar in pain. Murder Machine forms blades from his fingers, repeatedly slicing bits and pieces of the Destroyer. To add the cherry on top, he decides to fire a powerful energy beam, causing the latter to crash in the ground.
Murder Machine: And that's why you're as brittle as human flesh, Devastator. Your brute strength is not enough to counter by technological abilities.
He begins to fly away, only to be caught by the former hero of Earth -1. The former tries to convert his hands and feet into swords, but the latter wasn't feeling it. Instead, the Doomsday Batman punched Bruce's stomach several times before formulating spores to swords. The swords cut off pieces of the latter's armor, making him more vulnerable.
Devastator: I don't die easily, you know... now you will be broken! Broken into many pieces!
Devastator squeezed Murder Machine under his grip, with the Dark Knights rapidly descending to the ground. Both exchange multiple hits and tries to make the other face the ground. There was a giant thud. However, neither didn't hesitate to fire projectiles again, the only thing in their minds is bloodlust. Destroyer tackled the cybernetic Bruce to the ground, trying to shred him piece by piece. The Cyborg-Batman doesn't take it, and punches him in the gut. The Technological Terror kicks him multiple times before knocking him away with an energy blast. Devastator tries to impale his opponent, but misses. Murder Machine quickly slashes the Doomsday Bruce three times before tackling him to the ground. A puddle of Doomsday spores and blood trickles around. Devastator attempts to get up, but robotic Bruce pins him down. The cybernetic vigilante generates a force field, and charges up a fatal energy beam.
Murder Machine: It's over, Devastator. I have proven my statement correct, now rest.
However, the killing blow isn't dealt. Something strange happened. His systems suddenly seem to go wonky. Murder Machine tries converting his body parts into fatal weapons, but all he feels is getting more aggressive and... beastly by the moment. Devastator flashes a grin.
Devastator: I knew my spores would set a DOOMSDAY for you here.
The Destroyer repeatedly pounds the Murder Machine, to which the latter can only scream over the infection he received. The former swings his opponent around five times before tossing him into a destroyed building. Murder Machine tries his best to activate his systems, to no avail. The Doomsday Batman walks up and punches his foe six times, each punch expressing how wrathful he was. Finally, Devastator grabs Murder Machine and crushes his metal body, reducing Bruce to a pile of metal, blood, and electricity. The Destroyer felt weak, felt like everything was broken all over inside. His mind felt like a flattened pancake, his body bruised, battered, and bloody. Devastator knelt to the ground, breathing heavily, trying his best not to cough up spores or blood.
Devastator: Victory... means utter destruction.
Barbatos snaps his fingers, transporting Devastator back to Prime Earth.
Barbatos: Now...don't fail me again. Devastator, go to the Fortress of Soltitude, and bring Batman to me. Do you hear me? Bring Batman to me. No exceptions. You will have one lenient hour to recover here.
Devastator: I will not let you down, Barbatos.
Murder Machine eliminated!
KO!

Epilogue:
Devastator is seen sitting down near a deserted Challenger's Mountain on Prime Earth, breathing heavily and preparing for his next mission.
The corpses of Drowned, Merciless, and Murder Machine are shown in the desolate planet. Earth -451208 begins to break apart, leaving geographic features floating in space, slowly leaving themselves to disintegrate.
Results[]
Boomstick: Holy...crap. What a mess. I have no words on what to say here.
(The sound of Boomstick dropping his beer bottle to the floor is heard, shards and beer scattering everywhere on the ground.)
Wiz: Each of the Dark Knights were incredible foes, especially when comparing their actions to the Dark Multiverse and the assault on Prime Earth. Their coordination and common goals led to them being ferocious foes against the Justice League, managing to defeat them.
Boomstick: But, they all have weaknesses that led to their downfall: Metal Number N!
Wiz: That's Nth Metal. Let's start off with the Batman Who Laughs. Although he is the most intelligent and possibly the most experienced of all the Dark Knights, he didn't have any superhuman feats outside of his reality-warping metal playing cards. We decided to remove the cards from the battle, as his mind can envision a possibility leading to all the Dark Knights losing, leading to the battle getting stomped.
Boomstick: His Robins may provide him a minute or two to breathe, but considering that they were easily defeated by regular Bats, it wouldn't take long for any of the Batmen to defeat them either. Since their aggression leaves them open and can leave Laughs hanging.
Wiz: This leads him to pulling out his only resource left: firearms. While using them against the Drowned may work, she can easily stop the bullets with her summoning of the Dead Water army. Red Death perceives most things in slow motion, Merciless and Murder Machine's armor would make them useless, Dawnbreaker can use his flight to avoid them, while Devastator is too durable to let bullets harm him.
Boomstick: Hey wait a minute, we forgot how he killed his world off and defeated many members of the Justice League on Prime Earth!
Wiz: All of these feats were only accomplished thanks to his preparation time, which isn't allowed here. This is one of the main reasons why he lost.
Boomstick: Thanks to his lack of superhuman powers and reliance on prep time, all in all, Laughs was like a bad pun: a complete JOKE.
Wiz: Drowned was next to go down. Having slightly more arnesal, range, and superpowers compared to the leader of Dark Knights, Drowned has a small advantage over Laughs. Her trident and Dead Water army can prove troublesome to the Merciless, but like the other Knights, Red Death would be too fast for the attack to work, Murder Machine, Merciless, and Devastator's durability wouldn't make it very effective, while Dawnbreaker's flight makes the attack useless as well.
Boomstick: While Merciless has an army of Amazon soldiers that could be summoned in a few seconds, Drowned's Dead Water can be used instantly with her trident! Also, it can even corrupt people! Though it probably won't work on people like the people Wiz said from above. Sadly, her feats get DROWNED by every category with the other Dark Knights.
Wiz: Speaking of the God of War, he had the most balanced stats out of all the Dark Knights. Above average durability, strength, and experience helped keep him in the game. However, the primary tool that earned him this spot was his versatility. Since his God Killer sword generates a shockwave that damages and knocks back opponents, he can keep away attacks from close quarters.
Boomstick: These positive qualities sliced Laughs and Drowned's chances, and even contended with Red Death. The sad parts, though, were his slow speed, inability to fly, large frame, and advantages shadowed by the other Dark Knights. This didn't give him the chance to bring him any higher. Nothing more, nothing MerciLESS.
Wiz: Red Death has the best chances to beat opponents that utilize the ground. Because he fused with Barry to go into the Speed Force, he outclasses everybody in speed. Whenever he leaves a trail, his bats swarm around, which can cause trouble to even fighters like Devastator who aren't careful. Red Death's inconsistent movements requires opponents to be very precise in their aiming.
Boomstick: Why couldn't he go any higher? If he can tag people like Murder Machine and Devastator, why is he stuck in the middle? I was rooting for him for those reasons! Look, he took out Merciless from earlier!
Wiz: Speed, while Red Death greatly outclasses everybody in speed, and would be able to take out Laughs, Drowned, and maybe Merciless, he doesn't fare well to people who fly. Flight users can place themselves from a high distance and wait for Red Death to tire out. This way, they can punish him by using a ranged attack, as with the case of Murder Machine firing his energy beams. Dawnbreaker can fire off dark constructs, or can use his blackout.
Boomstick: Wait a minute! No talk about Devastator? He uses the ground! Red Death can hurt him!
Wiz: While this is true, Red Death won't be able to land direct hits Devastator, since the Doomsday spores will leave him infected and helpless. Thus, he's forced to leave a trail of bats behind, the only other attack besides hand-to-hand combat and speed. Therefore, he has a limited arnesal.
Boomstick: What about his weapons from Earth -52? What about the Flashmobiles? They could make Red Death's chances better!
Wiz: Even though Bruce used the Rogues' weapons against the Flash of Earth -52, Red Death discarded them after leaving his dying world, and the Flashmobiles are never heard of after the battle against Prime Earth Flash. In addition to a limited arnesal, his strength and durability are comparable to only peak-human strength, which is around the Batman Who Laughs' level. While Red Death is clearly superior to the other Knights in terms of speed, his faults come in the terms of everywhere else.
Boomstick: Third goes to the Green Lantern. Guess his WILL wasn't POWERful enough to take out the Doomsday and robot. I'm still GREEN with envy Red didn't beat Green.
Wiz: That's enough with the puns... Dawnbreaker's flight, powerful attacks, and humungous versatility can only be contended by Murder Machine and Devastator. With the use of the dark constructs, he can one-shot most of his opponents. Flight allowed Bruce to evade most of the attacks mentioned from above. The problems are his durability being on par with a human at peak level, and his recklessness as a young teenager.
Boomstick: Finally! The classic man versus machine! The machine finally loses!
Wiz: Murder Machine's durability was excellent, and his metallic body (which can be considered his versatility) being able to transform into weapons proved himself to be a grueling opponent with his cybernetics. If the Murder Machine was given the Alfred Protocol, he would have beaten everybody else in short order due to its mass replication and extremely high power.
Boomstick: More durable than Cyborg, intelligence exceeding most, strength stronger than a stupendous superhero, it's the Murder Machine!
(Boomstick starts snapping his fingers to the Spider-Man theme while Wiz gives him a glare)
Boomstick: Sorry. All right, but most of his feats fall short to Devastator.
Wiz: Devastator outclasses everybody in strength, as shown when he was able to throw Lobo 150000000 kilometers into the sun. He also outclasses everybody in adaptation, as he was able to defeat Superman from Earth -1 easily thanks to captializing the Kryptonite weakness Superman had.
Boomstick: Devastator's also contagious, as he's able to infect people with his virus and render themselves helpless. He did this to Lois without her ever noticing! This Bruce's durability is probably much stronger than regular Doomsday - Prime Earth's Superman's punches looked like a joke to the Destroyer!
Wiz: While Devastator's intelligence has been diminished thanks to the Doomsday virus, he's shown to be very focused in battle, not letting his guard down until his opponent is defeated. Bruce's aggression is more of a virtue rather than vice, as he can quickly end the battle thanks to his incredible power.
Boomstick: Defeating several other tough opponents, such as Flash, Firestorm, and even Lobo allows Devastator have the most victories compared to the Dark Knights.
Wiz: All in all, while Murder Machine and Dawnbreaker gave Devastator a tough challenge, the Doomsday Batman emerged victorious by outclassing people via strength, adaptation, and raw durability.
Boomstick: Looks like Devastator told the other six Batmen to say good KNIGHT that DARK day.
Wiz: The winner is Devastator.
