- The connections between Dark Danny and Fleetway Super Sonic are both alternate versions of cocky, teenaged heroes (Danny Fenton/Sonic) who were created due to the protagonists' fusion with something (Sonic with Chaos Energy/Danny with Vlad). Unlike their main counterpart, they are sadistic, heartless monsters who take glee in killing others and destroying everything in sight. Despite this, both have moments where they've shown to be humane (Dark Danny states that he sometimes misses Tucker's sense of humor/Fleetway became pacifistic after losing his memories).
