Dark is a character from the Predator series. He is a Yautja from the Elite Clan who was dispatched to BG-386 in order to investigate a distress call sent by the Young Blood Pack. He subsequently became involved in the Xenomorph outbreak on the planet, came into conflict with the United States Colonial Marine Corps, and hunted and killed the BG-386 Predalien.

Bio-Mask
- A Mask-like Helmet that is utilized by all members of Yautja Society
- Dark's Mask has notable scar-like markings on his Bio-Mask
- Allows for the usage of Vocal Mimicry, allowing Dark to replicate words and sentences said by others as a means of communication or as a means of luring targets
- Allows for the use of Thermal vision, allowing for the detection of Humans, Synthetics, and other Yautja even when cloaked

Lord's Bio-Mask
- A Bio-Mask that was utilized by the Ancient Ranked Yautja known as Lord
- Is in possession of all the Functions as Dark's original Bio-Mask
- Allows for the use of EM Vision, which is a vision that allows Dark to identify and see Xenomorphs that would otherwise be invisible to his Thermal Vision
- Allows Dark to see Recordings and Projections left behind by Lord within his Pyramid on BG-386

Wrist Gauntlet
- A Wrist Device utilized by all members of Yautja Society
- Linked directly to Dark's Bio-Masks, it serves as the governing system to all of it's functions
- Is the power source to all of Dark's Equipment that is linked to the Wrist Gauntlet
- Can drain energy from Power Sources such as Junction Boxes, Generators, or similar to recharge itself
- Sat-Com
  - A Communication device that allows Dark to communicate with other Yautja
  - Is capable of creating a Holographic 3D Projection of a Planet, location, or structure.
  - Can be used to locate other targets, other individuals, or other Yautja
- Self-Destruct
  - A Device built into Dark's Wrist Gauntlets and utilized by all members of Yautja Society
  - Releases a blast that is capable of engulfing and obliterating a Large Amount of the Area around it
  - Utilized for honorable suicide in the face of imminent defeat and also to remove any evidence of the Yautja's existence, along with keeping their technology out of the hands of other races.
  - Likely composed of Plasma Energy
  - The self-destruct is capable of being large enough to level and vaporize a section of a rainforest that would cover up to 300 city blocks or small enough to only vaporize the Yautja in question.
- Cloak
  - Alternatively known as the Chameleon Field, Shiftsuit, or Invisibility System
  - Allows for Dark to render himself either Invisible or Nearly Invisible to sight and Electronic Scanning
  - He achieves this by warping light around Dark's body in a way that allows for surfaces behind him to be visible.

Weapons[]

Wristblades
- Blades that are capable of extending out of and retracting into the Wrist Gauntlet's worn by Dark
- Unlike most other Yautja, Dark and other members of the Elite Clan wield two sets of wrist blades on each arm.
- Unlike wristblades wielded by other Yautja, Dark and other members of the Elite Clan are made of a material that is resistant to the Acid Blood of Xenomorphs and thus does not melt or become damaged by it.
- Can be utilized to open doors within the Yautja Ruins on BG-386
Plasmacaster
- Alternatively, it is known as the Plasma Cannon, Laser Cannon, or Shoulder Cannon
- A Shoulder-Mounted firearm that allows Dark to fire either rapid or charged blasts of Plasma Energy at a target for varying levels of damage
  - Fully charged, the Plasma Caster is capable of easily killing a human or Xenomorph by blasting them apart into pieces.
- Is powered by the Wrist Gauntlet worn by Dark and is capable of recharging through the Gauntlet's energy draining capabilities
- A Single shot from a Plasma Caster can otherwise reduce two humans into charred corpse
Combistick
- Alternatively known as a Telescoping Spear
- A Spear-like Weapon that is capable of collapsing by retracting into itself for ease of storage and then extending to it's Spear-Staff form when to be utilized in combat
- Dark's Version of the Combistick was originally wielded by his Ancestor, Lord, and was later obtained by Dark from the Yautja Ruins within BG-386
- Is capable of functioning as a Melee Weapon that can be utilized to perform piercing stabs when combined with Dark's own Strength
- Is capable of being thrown akin to that of a Javelin and capable of piercing through most normal materials as a result of the Force in which Dark throws it
Smart Disc
- Alternatively, it is known as Smart Weapon, Cutting Disk, or Disc'
- Obtained by Dark from one of the fallen Young Bloods on BG-386
- Function as a Boomerang-like Chakram that Dark can either throw as a Projectile or utilize as a Melee weapon in close range combat
- Is in possession of a form of Auto-Guidance that is controlled by the Laser Pointer on Dark's Bio-Mask, allowing it to alter it's course and track down a Target when thrown as a projectile but Smart Discs are also capable of tracking a target through their body heat
- Is capable of ricocheting off surfaces when thrown (Somehow...)
- Capable of tracking through multiple targets in a single throw
- Can have itself returned through a Press of a Button on Dark's Wrist Gauntlet
- Is capable of cleaving through most Objects with relative ease and is capable of even cutting fatally into other Yautja
Proximity Mines
- Mines that can be set and remotely detonated
- Obtained by Dark from one of the fallen Young Bloods on BG-386
- Draws energy from the Wrist Gauntlet similar to that of the Plasmacaster
Health Shards
- Dark's equivalent to the Medicomp utilized by other Yautja for Medical Attention
- Allows Dark to heal himself and treat injuries by stabbing both Shards into his body
- Is EXTREMELY painful to use

Feats[]

Slaughtered countless USCM Marines, Synthetics, and Xenomorphs over the course of his hunt on BG-386
Killed a Xenomorph Praetorian by himself without any assistance
Fought on Equal Footing with the Predalien known as the Abomination, born from the Yautja known as Wolf (BG-386) and eventually killed the creature
The only Yautja that was sent to BG-386 in response to the Distress Signal of the Young Bloods to come out alive
Discovered the Tomb of Lord and obtained his Combistick and Bio-Mask
Discovered the location of Xenomorph Prime
Dark is one of the only three Yautja who can battle a Predalien, the other two being Wolf. He is also among the only two to have successfully killed one, the other being Prince.
Through the use of the self-destruct within Lord's Wrist Gauntlet, he destroyed the entirety of Freya's Prospect and the Yautja Ruins within it.

Faults[]

Individuals with no Body Temperature of any kind are incapable of being seen by the Thermal vision, and it is capable of being hidden from through the use of mud
Plasmacaster and Proximity Mines draw from the same Source of energy, which is Dark's Wrist Gauntlet, so they must be charged regularly or frequently through outside sources of energy
A finite amount of Health Shards to use for Medical Treatment
The Cloak is incapable of being used effectively when within bodies of water and will also short-circuit when exposed to water, resulting in their deactivation until the sources have been removed
Dark, even with the Cloak active, is capable of being "sensed" by Xenomorphs
