Dante VS Ichigo

Description

Two badass, sword wielding demon hunters go head to head in a battle to the death. Who will win, who will prosper!

Interlude

Talon: When you're a badass with women begging at your feet for a chance in the bedroom, you know you're amazing at what you do. And if you're a badass who hunts demons with an awesome blade, you're double amazing, just like today's combatants.

Rush: I'm Rush and I'll be researching Dante, the Demon Hunter and all-around badass.

Raven: I'm Raven and I'll be researching Ichigo Kurosaki, teenage Hollow Hunter and the one who made Bankai famous.

Talon: And I'm Talon, I'm here to make sure these two don't kill each other. Welcome, to Death Battle.

Dante The Demon Hunter

Rush: In Slum Avenue, there are multiple things. It's a fucked up city with scum of the Underworld. You can find bars, strip clubs, but most relavent to the current situation, a run-down service shop that is known for beating the stinky shit out of demons called Devil May Cry.

Raven: Did they seriously name the shop after the series?

Rush: You don't play the game so you won't understand.

Raven: It's still stupid.

Talon: Let your brother talk, Raven. Rush, continue.

Rush: Thank you. Anyway, the man who runs this shop is an all-around badass, he graduated from the college of One-Liners and got a diploma in Not Giving A Fuck, and his name was DANTE!

Dante (Stats)

Rush: Dante is the son of Sparda, as well as his brother, Vergil. Sparda is basically Badass. Sr. He was so strong, he overthrew the underworld and imprisoned it's ruler, Mundus, and then knocked up this random chick named Eva.

Talon: Sounds like me on a Friday night.

Raven: No. Talon, just no. TMI.

Rush: Ugh. Anyway, when Dante and Vergil were little, and Sparda went out for some cigarettes, Mundus's demon decided it was time for some sweet, sweet revenge, so they went and killed his mother. But not before his mom managed to hide Dante, but Vergil was no where to be found. OOOOH! CONVINIENT FUTURE VILLAIN FORESHADOWING!

Raven: Where was Vergil?

Rush: On his own power-hungry journey. You can basically call him Sasuke 2.0. Anyway, Dante grew up and learned how to use his half demon heritage to beat demon ass.

Dante (Abilities)

• Superhuman Strength: He possesses strength pass a normal human and lesser demons, even some stronger demons, or even some boss material enemies.
• Superhuman Speed: He is very fast, faster then lower class demons, fast enough to to catch fire.
• Superhuman Stamina: He can fight and stay awake for many hours, even days.
• Superhuman Durability: Can survive quite a bunch of beating and recover fast.
• Healing Factor: Has an excellent healing factor that can save him from basically everything.
• Telekinesis: Has shown Telekinesis by stopping a motorcycle mid-air and summoning Rebellion back to him.

Rush: Dante gains Superhuman Strength, Speed, Stamina, and Durability through his half demon heritage, and also some form of telekinesis, but there is something that every demon has to get through if they want to put even a dent on Dante. That damn healing factor! This can let Dante survive through basically anything, being shot in the dome, getting impaled with a hand, getting impaled with spikes, getting impaled with swords, anything you can impale with, he has survived it.

Talon: *quietly snickers*

Rush: What? What's funny? *pauses for a few seconds* OH, Talon, stop with the adult humor.

Talon: Can't help it.

Rush: Hey, where did Raven go?

Talon: She went to go get some "me time".

Rush: But aren't we....okay then. Anyway, Dante has all these abilities, but is most known for his massive collection of weapons that we are going to go over right now.

Dante (Weapons)

• Devil Sword Dante: The newly formed legendary devil sword of Dante, forged through employing the newfound power of his Sin Devil Trigger, which he awakened after impaling himself with his broken demonic sword Rebellion and merging himself with it along with his father's legendary blade, Sparda. The sword can summon spectral swords and it's the most powerful Devil Arm on Dante's arsenal.
• Ebony and Ivory: Dante's most popular guns. These can rapid fire shots upon a single target on top of getting their bullets amped up by Dante's devil powers. Each was also custom build with their own specialties, with Ivory being made for rapid-fire shots and fast draw times while Ebony was made for long-distance comfort and targeting.
• Agni and Rudra: Agni and Rudra were former guardians of Temen-Ni-Gru until Dante managed to defeat them both. Impressed, they wanted Dante to wield their weapons due to him being a worthy fighter. Agni is a sword of fire while Rudra is a sword of wind; Dante fights with both simultaneously for the best results. The swords also talk frequently, in spite of Dante forbidding them to.
• Nevan: Dante managed to get this from Nevan, the Lightning Bat Witch. This weapon shows off Dante's radical guitar skills and general knowledge on being able to use scythe-like weapons. Dante can also manipulate bats and lightning with this guitar.
• Beowulf: Dante manages to obtain these gauntlets after fighting Vergil for a second time. These gauntlets mostly show of Dante's hand to hand skills and powerful attacks.
• Yamato: An extremely powerful weapon. It ignores conventional durability due to it being able to cut through dimensional walls and barriers. Dante has also showcased expertise in using it by cutting a Hellgate in half from seven hundred meters away.
• Gilgamesh: Dante obtains this weapon from defeating Echidna. This weapon also showcases Dante's hand to hand combat skills where he manages to break down a Hell Gate with a one-inch punch.
• Lucifer: Dante manages to obtain this from defeating Berial. This allows Dante to fire of an infinite number of bladed projectiles similar to his brother Vergil's Summoned Swords. They also resemble Mundus' red energy beams in DMC1.
• Pandora: The Pandora is a briefcase which is said to hold 666 forms. Forms it has taken include a bowgun, a bazooka, a laser cannon, a Gatling gun, a mobile missile battery, a boomerang and if he opens the case some bad thing happens and takes out anything around it. Also busted one of the hell gates and a family of huge demons to boot. Packs enough firepower to send several large toads flying and blow them to pieces.
• Balrog: Balrog is a set of gauntlets, grieves, and shoulder pads, created with the sealed power of the king of Fire Hell, it has two different modes, the Kick Mode lets Dante perform powerful kicks on enemies, while Blow Mode focuses on boxing-like punching and allows Dante to execute short dodges.
• Dr. Faust: A curious hat given to Dante by Nico. It uses demon blood to attack and make demons drop more of their own blood, it also showcases Dante's moves in dancing.
• Cavaliere: A Devil Arm created by fusing parts of Cavaliere's armor to a motorcycle. It also can be split up into two twin-clubbed buzz saws. These attacks are slow but deal high amounts of damage while covering a wide area.
• King Cerberus: A more powerful version of the classic Cerberus, obtained after defeating the King of the Cerberus tribe, retains the ice powers from the other ones, but can also attack with Fire and Electricity, changing its style with two additional modes: a fire bō staff and lightning chain forms.

Rush: Dante turns the souls of his demon fighters into weapons, but his most known weapons are his bread and butter Rebellion and Ebony and Ivory, then in the 5th, and best, installment of the series, Rebellion kind of...broke. But that's alright, cause he got a bigger and cooler sword called the Devil Sword Dante. Devil Sword Dante can astral project energy swords behind each slash. But he also has his large collection of elemental weapons. He has a pair of fire and wind swords named Agni and Rudra, an electricity guitar named Nevan, light gauntlets called Beowulf, a dimension cutting katana called Yamato, a sword-summoning backpack called Lucifer, a mechanical shape-shifting briefcase called Pandora, fire gauntlets called Balrog, a demon blood utilizing hat called Dr. Faust, a pair of motorcycle buzzsaws called Cavaliere, and finally, nunchucks that hold 3 elements called King Cerberus.

Talon: Whoa, looks like someone's a collector.

Rush: Yeah, a collector of demon blood! He also has these things called styles, which are like mastery of arts. Swordmaster gives him super sword mode, Gunslinger makes him better with his guns, Trickster allows him to teleport, Royalguard allows him to auto-block, Quicksilver allows him to time-stop, Doppelganger is basically shadow clone jutsu, and Sword Formation is a quadruple pair of red energy swords.

Talon: I wonder where he keeps all this stuff.

Rush: I don't even know.

Raven: I'm back.

Talon: Where were you?

Raven: None of your buisness.

Rush: Ehh, doesn't matter, she came back in time for Dante's trump card, Devil Trigger. After Dante got stabbed with the Rebellion by his brother, he unlocked the ultimate supermode, Devil Trigger. He unleashes his demon power and becomes a demon himself, increasing his physical attributes. And he can fly and his attacks get a massive buff. His real power though lies in Sin Devil Trigger. In this mode, he's basically a god, he can turn himself into a demon drill, shoot balls of blue fire, shoot fireballs out of his wings, go crazy with blades all around him and even Hakai his enemies to death!

Raven: Alright, can we get to my guy now?!

Rush: Nope, feats.

Raven: Dang it!

Dante (Feats)

• Forced the Mouth of Echidna Open from the Inside
• Destroyed a Stone Statue by simply Banging his Fist against it and sending a Shockwave through it
• Has Overpowered Demons Much Larger than Himself
• Can swing Rebellion with enough force to Cut-Through Large Metal Dice
• Swung Rebellion hard enough to Create a Large fissure in the Ceiling
• Effortlessly smacked away a Demon capable of splitting open a Stone/Brick Wall
• Easily sent a Mega Scarecrow away with a Swing of Rebellion launching it into Two Others
• Blocked a Punch from the Savior Utilizing Rebellion
  • Has been Impaled by Various Demons and Weapons only to Shrug them off
  • Shot Point-Blank in the head by Lady and got back up annoyed
  • Punched by Beowulf with enough force to be embedded into the ground only to be fine
  • Remained Unfazed by a Lady's Motorcycle exploding and being caught in the Explosion
  • Beaten down rapidly and violently by Nero with the Devil Bringer directly in the head
  • Survived being Impaled Twice by Mundus and having Multiple Meteors bombard him
  • Sat down on the Tail of Berial while he was Engulfed in Hellfire and was perfectly fine with only his Jacket being scorched
  • Was impaled by Alastor and removed the Blade by having it move through and out of him

Raven: We'll see who the bitch is after Ichigo turns Dante into a splatter of blood.

Ichigo Kurosaki, Hollow's Worst Nightmare

Raven: Shinigami, meaning death to all the Death Note fans, but it also the name of a ginger with a sword. You see, Ichigo was a normal kid until he figured out that he could see ghosts, ooooooooh, scary! One day, when he was walking home with his mother, he saw a girl he thought was in trouble, so being the anime protagonist he is, he ran after her, but she went all catfish on him and turned into a hollow before killing his mother. Hey Rush, you know a *snickers* thing or two about catfishing right?

Rush: We don't talk about Maria!!

Talon: Oh my god, what happened?

Raven: Rush met this girl online and they talked, but when they went on a date, it wasn't a girl, it was a clown! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Talon: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Rush: This is why I didn't want to do this.

Raven: Alright, Alright, we need to move on. Anyway, Ichigo remained unknowing of the truth until years later,when he met a girl named Rukia, who held the title of Shinigami, or Soul Reaper, basically a ghost hunter with a sword.

Rush: So like Samurai Ghost Busters?

Raven: The official show already made that joke.

Rush: Still funny.

Raven: No it's not. Anyway, the two of them got into some trouble and Rukia had to give Ichigo some power, but Ichigo took way more than she gave him, revealing himself as a Soul Reaper, with some awesome powers. He has an enhanced condition and a lot of strength, able to swing that giant sword like a simple knife. This sword is a Zanpakuto, a blade connected to it's user's soul. And Ichigo isn't just a Soul Reaper, but I'm not about to get into that skull-fuck of an anatomy.
