Poll[]
Roots or bets? Vote on the poll and see who wins.
Interlude[]
Wiz: Danny Phantom, the super powerd ghost halfa from a science experiment gone wrong.

Boomstick: And Shantae, the bellydancing half-genie from the product of human and genie procreation.

Wiz: Though humans have achieved many great things with their time on this earth, never has there been a bigger marvel of science and magic than the resulting fusion of man and mysticism.
Boomstick: So, let's pit 'em together and see who would win in a fight, a super badass ghost hunter against a super badass hair-whippin' genie. He's Wiz, and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.
Danny Fenton is Going Ghost for DEATH BATTLE![]
Wiz: There's a fine line between the natural and the supernatural,. While our generic everyday lives may seem ordinary, underneath it all lies something much otherworldly, something more... Phantasmic.
Boomstick: Well, for 14-year-old Danny Fenton, he luckily, or unluckily depending on who you ask, had two parents who happened to have a knack for unearthing the supernatural, along with having one or two… Or several screws loose.

Wiz: While most parents have normal hobbies like woodworking or collecting old stamps, young Daniel's parents were... To put it bluntly. Completely obsessed with ghost hunting, so much so that they went above and beyond to prove to the world the existence of ghosts, and hopefully prove that they weren't insane.
Boomstick: And all it took was the creation of a very strange machine they designed to view a world unseen to mere mortals.
Wiz: But when the device seemed to be a failure, the young child's parents called it quits, and rather than doing the rational thing and getting the heck out of there. Danny took a look inside of it, and in one great big flash, everything changed.

Boomstick: And his molecules got all rearranged! (rapping) And when he first woke up, he realized he had snow white hair and glowing green eyes!
Wiz: Along with the ability to turn intangible, become completely invisible, and fly through the air, of course.
Boomstick: Aww. Wiz you ruined it… Either way, after getting his entire DNA mixed up with some weird slimy ghost energy. Gross. Danny Fenton was no longer your dorky, awkward, everyday teen boy. With an all-new superhero alter ego, he was now, Danny Phantom… Maybe he should’ve stuck with Invis-O-Bill; at least it’s less obvious.

Wiz: But with the ghost portal wide open, allowing a series of “monster of the week” type ghosts to run loose, Danny took it upon himself to catch 'em all, and defend the citizens of Amity Park from the absurdity of these paranormal visitors.. While the idea of juggling superhero work and everyday human life seemed stressful, Danny appeared to take it in stride. After a few hiccups, of course.
Boomstick: With some much-needed training, along with a catalog of various ghosts to hunt down, Danny became a hunter of the unliving like no other. Ghostbusters, move aside, cause this ghost kid has a whole list of neat abilities needed to take down the most sinister of specters—no proton pack required.

Wiz: While the alteration of his DNA granted him the basic ghost power kit, It also granted Danny super strength, speed, and toughness, and the ability to manipulate “Ecto Energy,” a foreign energy source unique to ghosts and what they use to perform various powers and techniques. Danny can fire lasers, move objects with ghostly telekinesis, unleash flashes of blinding light, bind you with ecto energy rings, create shields or solid surfaces, and even enhance his strength.

Boomstick: And after getting his butt handed to him by an overgrown vegetable, Danny met a weird white wolf fursona named frostbite, who taught him how to harness the icy energy withing his body! You know, shooting ice rays, creating ice structures, making giant snowballs that’ll freeze you solid, sensing other nearby spirits, the basics.
Wiz: And true to his newfound ghostly biology, Danny can stretch, contort, or shape his body in any way he likes, whether it be stretching himself long distances, turning into mist, or even detaching parts of his body, his ghostly regeneration will fix him up in no time.

Boomstick: But when he really wants to teach ghosts what it means to really be dead, he can devastate anything in front of him with his ghostly wail! Where he screams all his problems away like any teenager would.
Wiz: This move is so powerful that it can wipe out weaker enemies with just one use, though it does require a bit of time between uses, as it does leave Danny rather exhausted. Of course, he has gotten stronger over time to the point where he can use it several times before needing to take a breather.

Boomstick: And should Danny feel like he’s in a tight spot, he can “overshadow” another opponent and take control of their body like some kind of sick, twisted, puppetmaster… Which is funny considering he was once mind-controlled by another puppet master named Freakshow, but he got better.
Wiz: The idea of overtaking another person's being and claiming it as your own deeply disturbs me… So I modulated Dummy with the properties of Ecto-Energy, allowing him to mimic the abilities of overshadowing so that I won't have to try it myself.
D.U.M.M.I float into the scene, quickly changing his body light blue and ethereal, while Boomstick waves his hand through him curiously.
Wiz: Though it is worth mentioning that Danny's possession isn't perfect, there have been a few occasions where the affected target forces him out or flat out resits the attempt. This typically only happens if the target has an extreme mental defense, or if Danny's power is diminished, which is prone to happening if he prolongs a fight.
Boomstick: Is that so? Well then, I have nothing to worry about. I don't know about you, Wiz, but my brain is like a steel cage surrounded by a minefield. It's going to take a lot more than some fancy ghost powers to-
Before Boomstick finishes, D.U.M.M.I phased straight into his body. Instantly, Boomstick twitches for a moment before his movements become stiffer and more robotic, along with his voice.
Boomstick/D.U.M.M.I: I have only been in this body for several seconds, and yet I feel a crushing sensation of regret, depression, self-loathing, and severe alcoholism coursing through my mind… This is the most alive I’ve ever felt…
With some effort, Boomstick ejects D.U.M.M.I out of his body, sending the spherical robot flying across the room. Boomstick begins to shiver violently while clutching himself for warmth.
Wiz: Is there a chill you're feeling right now, Boomstick?
Boomstick: No… Just the horrors of having shared a mind with him…
Wiz: You’ll get used to it. Despite his many setbacks, Danny's accomplishments have proven his merit time and time again. He’s fast enough to dodge lasers, strong enough to toss a 120-ton ghost dragon, powerful enough to vaporize a golf course with one blast, and has defeated plenty of equally powerful ghosts, like his older nemesis, Vlad Plasmius, who has a disturbing obsession over his mom… And Undergrowth, who could spread a forest across North America in just a few seconds, a feat that would require over 100 gigatons of TNT to pull off. This vast power even led to him defeating his dark alternative counterpart: Dan Phantom.

Boomstick: Yeah, he went into the future and beat his older, more evil, more powerful version of himself by using his very own technique against him! It took him years to develop it, and Danny just learned it on the spot! Never let it be said that Danny's just some moody teenage boy with emotional issues; I mean, that's exactly what he is, but he’s still a pretty good ghost hunter.
Wiz: After saving the world countless times, Danny's identity would become known to the public. Rather than be taken in and dissected by his parents, as he rightfully assumed for so long, his family and friends would accept Danny’s alter ego and superhero identity with open arms. No longer having to hide himself from the world any longer, Danny would be able to mature and grow into the best hero Amity Park could ask for.
Boomstick: Ghouls and Ghosts alike, beware. If this kid catches you haunting his home town, he won't stop until you're nothing but ectoplasmic goop. He’s always gonna catch 'em all because he’s Danny Phantom!

Intro Theme: He's gonna catch 'em all, 'cause he's Danny Phantom, Gonna catch 'em all, 'cause he's Danny Phantom, Gonna catch 'em all, 'cause he's Danny Phantom!
Shantae is Ret-2-Go for DEATH BATTLE![]
Boomstick: In the past, Sequin Island was a magical paradise, filled with clean water and lush fauna and, of course, magic! All thanks to the protection of the guardian genies. Knowing there were no possible dangers that could ever befall this beautiful land, the folks could kick back, relax, and… Who am I kidding? You all know the trope by now.
Wiz: While the genies’ impressive magical powers made protecting the land nothing more than a small chore, everything would take a turn for the worse when the pirate master came onto the scene, harboring a dangerous supply of dark magic!
Boomstick: Are you seriously going to do that every time we mention dark magic?
Wiz: More than likely.
Boomstick: Well, while the pirate master's immense power drove the genies to extinction, they were able to take him down with a hefty supply of some good old light magic, but using so much at once to take down someone so powerful came with a cost. The genies were no longer in the picture, leaving our realm of existence and leaving the island dry with no protection.

Wiz: Interesting wordplay, Boomstick. Before their departure, the guardian genies had formed some very close relationships with some local human men, resulting in the birth of Half-Genies—a rare breed of half-human, half-magical beings possessing a variety of incredible powers.
Boomstick: And after a particular human and his genie GF decided to spend some time rubbing the ‘ol lamp, their procreation led to the birth of Sequin Islands' newest guardian genie: Shantae. Well, only half a genie, but hey, it's better than nothing.

Wiz: Unfortunately, Shantae would not have the luxury of meeting her parents in full due to her mother being trapped in an entirely separate plane of existence and her father likely dying in search of his daughter, leaving the young half breed parentless.

Boomstick: Hey, it wasnt so bad, she was adopted by the local town cook and scientist named Mimic, who would raise her like a surrogate niece in the village of Scuttle Town, and instead of teaching her our boring and pathetic human values he taught her awesome stuff like how to kick giant monster ass with all sorts of magical attacks!
Wiz: It helps that, thanks to some training under her friend Bolo, Shantae would pick up some handy hand-to-hand combative skills. Not like she’d need it, as her magic biology grants her abilities and skills far more significant than those of an average human, increased strength, improved speed, extreme durability, standard super half-human half-magical anomaly powers basically.

Boomstick: And, inspired by the musical workings of Willow Smith, Shantae can whip her hair back and forth. It may not seem like much, but she can swing it with enough force to move giant limestone blocks and send foes flying with a single hit, and create afterimages from speed alone. I want whatever shampoo this girl uses; it could come in handy next time I'm forced to go to the groomers.
Wiz: You mean barber.
Boomstick: I know what I said.
Wiz: True to her genie nature, Shantae can always rely on her plentiful reservoir of magic should physical means not do the trick. She can shoot fire, heal wounds, control lightning, create impenetrable bubbles, summon an orbiting arsenal of simitars around her, and even fire magically enhanced weapons like boomerangs, missiles, and… Superballs. But if needed, Shantae can exhaust all her magic at once and Obliterate everything around her with a massive explosion of raw magical energy.
Boomstick: And like other Half-Genies, Shantae’s got a special brand of magical abilities exclusive to her: transformation magic! Which you would think she would use to turn into cool stuff like a dragon or a tank, but instead she chooses to turn into dopey stuff like a cute monkey that can dart around like a bullet, a crab that can summon pillars of water, a giant spider to spew venom and shoot ensaring webs, a harpy to fly through the skies at speeds fast enough to outrun an island exploding, or an elephant that can smash foes to pulp or shatter giant stones like glass!
Wiz: Speaking of. After a trip to paradise island, which just so happened to be a trap… Shantae would meet up with other half-genie-like her. To help her with her endeavors, they would grant Shantae their abilities, such as the Seer Dance for uncovering invisible objects, the Refresh Dance for advanced healing and defeating undead eneimes, the Spark Dance to electrify opponents in a wide radius or charge machinery, and the Quake Dance, a spell so powerful it can shift the earth itself!
Boomstick: Crazy to think she does all this hocus pocus malarky by shakin’ her hips. That's right, by busting a move, Shantae can do all this crazy, magical stuff. It may seem like it leaves her wide open, but it helps that she can slow down time to pull it off without interruption. You know, I bet I could do the same thing! Not to brag, but I've taken a few dance lessons in my time.

Boomstick begins to do an odd-looking dance… It's rather unpleasant if Wiz’s reaction is anything to go by.
Wiz: Boomstick, in case you’ve forgotten the “magical” aspect of this analysis, you’d need to have any sort of magic in your system, and no, downing an entire six-pack at once counts as “Magical”
Suddenly, Bomostick begins to glow, and in a puff of magical smoke, he transforms into… A giant can of beer with eyes. Of course…
Wiz: Huh… Well, I can't say I wasnt expecting that to some degree.
Boomstick: Probably helps that I messed around with that purple glowing rock from a while back. Think you could crack me open? I could use a drink.
Wiz: Moving on… Even though Shantae is an exceptional fighter, her defending skills are a bit on the lacking side, if the various times she’s been fired are anything to go by., no thanks to her brash and often immature behavior, yet no matter what she always stays determined to ensure her friends and citizens of Scuttle Town remain safe.

Boomstick: I don't know about her, but after the 3rd time being told that I've been terminated after risking my neck, I'd just leave the place to be pillaged by that purple pirate lady Risky Boots. Who, might I add, can survive her secret volcano base exploding right on top of her, that's at least 3 gigatons of TNT going off all at once. And yet she was fine! In more ways than one, if ya catch my drift.

Wiz: Even with her hot-headed temper and brash nature, Shantae remains one of the most exceptional half genies around.. She's beaten her dark and more powerful counterpart, resisted the widespread mind manipulation of a living memory thanks to her, and I quote “Dumb Genie Brain,” and has taken down hordes of various monsters like Squid Baron, Tinkerbrain and the all mighty Empress Siren.
Boomstick: What's with most of these monsters being shaped like cute anime girls? I’m beginning to notice a theme here… Not that I’m complaining or anything.
Wiz: It's no wonder Shantae was eventually able to defeat the Pirate Master himself, even when stripped of her magic, she stood against this all-powerful dark entity and defeated him once and for all. Ensuring Scuttle town remains peaceful and entirely threat-free… Until the next villain comes along and ruins everything.
Boomstick: Guess that's just the life of a genie protecter. Even still, if Shantae's parents could see her now, they would be more than proud of the young, powerful woman she’s become. Even when stripped of her powers and the odds stacked against her, Shantae will always rise and shine to fight for another day.
Wiz: No matter the threat, so long as magic courses through her veins and her hair remains purple and vigilant, she’ll always dance through the danger until the world is saved. Good luck stopping her, because she is Shantae.

Intro Theme: We will dance through the danger until the world is saved. Can't stop me now 'cause I'm Shantae!
DEATH BATTLE[]
The Ghost Zone. An uncharted parallel dimension filled with swarms of unknown supernatural wonders and various ethereal spirits, as the name suggests. Among the seemingly never-ending depths of pure Ectoplasmic energy, various purple doors litter the realm, some leading to other worlds and points in time, others to various other ghosts' personal lairs. For the most part, things seemed to be as normal as they could be.
Just then, a green blur dashes right past the camera, and following it is a series of various lasers courtesy of a light blue blur tailing it. With a bit of catching up, the camera focuses on the glowing green blur to show that it was none other than Danny Phantom, or as he’s known by his human persona, Danny Fenton, and if the laser blasts weren’t an indicator, he was in the midst of participating in a most dangerous game.
Chasing him was a large, robotic-like ghost riding atop a futuristic hoverboard. This iconic ghost bounty hunter, Skulker, had decided to try his luck yet again at bagging the Halfas bounty. Adjusting his shoulder-mounted blaster, he fired several more shots at the ghost kid.
Skulker: Theres no use in running, welp! Sooner or later, I'll have your pelt hanging on my wall, and your bounty will be as good as mine!
Rolling his eyes, Danny quickly turns and charges his hand with Ecto energy, ready to retaliate as much as he’s prepared to retort.
Danny: Please, if I had a dollar for every time I heard that, I'd be rich enough to make Vlad more of a jealous weirdo than he is.
Firing a beam of green energy from his palm, Danny strikes Skulker right in the chest, staggering the technological bounty hunter long enough for him to high-tail it away. It doesn't take long for Skulker to recover and fire a few missiles from a secret compartment in his hoverboard, all of which Danny avoids.
Danny: Great. It's bad enough that I can’t get away from all the press and fame of being the world-renowned ghost kid, but my rep is just as big in the ghost zone as usual. Can’t a local hero get some peace?
While flying, Danny would eye a nearby open purple door. Though he knew better than to fly into unfamiliar areas, Skulkers' persistence today proved to be more of a headache than usual. With that in mind, he flew straight into the unknown, hoping to ditch his assailant, only for the bounty hunter to quickly follow him through, much to his dismay.
Appearing from the doorways opposite side, Danny found himself in a fair-sized village, filled with various ships, crates, and, of course, villagers. The most noticeable thing about the area was its Arabian-style architecture and aesthetic, much akin to something Danny would have read about in history class. His ghost sense didn't go off, so it was clear that this place wasn’t paranormal in any way, but he was still left confused. Was he in another world? Did he go back in time again? Whatever the case was, he had to get moving before…
BOOM!
That happened… From behind, Skulker had shot Danny in the back with a missile that sent him crashing into one of the buildings, leaving a sizable hole in its roof, scaring some of the locals and causing panic. Pulling himself out from the wreckage while clutching his head, Danny looked up to see Skulker, who seemed to be pretty annoyed and even insulted, if his crossed arms were any indicator.
Skulker: Hello? In case you’ve forgotten, you’re currently in the middle of being hunted by one of the Ghost Zone's best, and I'd appreciate it if prey paid attention and acted accordingly.
Danny: If you say so…
Raising his arms, Danny seemed to admit defeat, much to Skulker's delight. Of course, this was a facade as he was quickly blasted away by two beams of Ecto energy, courtesy of Danny's feint attack. Flying from the rooftop, the ghost kid charges his fists as Skulker recovers and taps a button on his wrist device, conjuring a large laser cannon and pointing the barrel at his prey as the two engage in a back-and-forth that begins to tear up the area around them!
From below, various villagers ran for cover or to evacuate the vicinity, some covering their heads with vases, crates, and barrels to protect themselves from debris or stray lasers. Among the crowd of frightened folk, a particularly rotund individual with a blue vest and a large turban with a single red feather adorned on it stopped his panicking to take a knee and catch his breath, even though he’d only been running for 5 seconds…
Mayor ScuttleButt: (panting) Where… Is… The Guardian Genie? It's only been a month since I rehired her, and we’re still getting attacked! Maybe I need to make another ad for the position…
Immediately after he said that, a tall, tan female in a purple hood and matching tank top ran up behind him and grabbed his shoulder, startling the mayor of ScuttleTown before he could prepare to set up any flyers.
Sky: Hold on! Hold on! I know Shantae doesn't have the best track record with being on time for… Just about anything, but I know she’s not too far from here, just give me a minute to go grab her!
Mayor ScuttleButt: Well… Okay, but not a minute later, and I will be keeping track. 60, 59, 58…
Face palming with an audible sigh, Sky quickly ran into her hatchery where she called her faithful bird companion Wrench, increasing his size and quickly mounting him to search for the Village's Guardian to deal with the ongoing trouble, and hopefully secure her job this time.
Meanwhile, in an area decorated with various waterfalls, ancient pillars, and magical floating platforms, known as Mermaid Falls, the camera focuses on the scenery for a while before quickly moving to a field of blue and white flowers. A slender, deeply tanned female with long purple hair, clothed in red, sat peacefully among the flower fields. Shantae diligently inspected the flowers for parts and other machine pieces, as the flora local to this region is known to contain, of course.
Suddenly, she felt a strong gust of wind behind her that caused her hair to wrap around her head and land in her mouth. Spitting it out, the half-Genie turned to see her friend Sky atop her supersized aviary companion and prepared to greet her.
Shantae: Oh hey Sky! What are you up to-
Sky: SHANTAE! What are you doing? ScuttleTown is under attack by a strange ghost boy and a giant trash can on a flying board, and you're sitting here picking flowers?
Shantae: Well, actually, I wanted to help Uncle run some errands, so I was grabbing some extra parts and… Wait, ScuttleTown is under attack again!? That's the 5th time this month…
Sighing in defeat as if she could never catch a break, Sky quickly grabbed her friend's arm and pulled her aboard Wrench. Time was of the essence, and, more importantly, her job was on the line. Again.
Back in ScuttleTown, Danny's battle with Skulker proved to be intensely destructive. As Various lasers and missiles filled the air, multiple structures were damaged or destroyed as a byproduct, yet neither seemed to show signs of slowing down. It seemed like their destructive back-and-forth was at a stalemate.
However, Danny spotted a mirror that had been dropped from the ensuing and gained an idea, firing an Ecto laser at it, the attack reflected off the mirror's surface and struck Skulkers' hoverboard from behind, damaging it and forcing the bounty hunter to use his jetpack to stay in the air.
Skulker: You’ll have to do better than that, welp.
Danny: Well, since you asked so politely.
Cupping his hands together, Danny fired a large Kamehameha-style beam at Skulker, who tried to counter with his shoulder laser gun, but it had been damaged from the battle, rendering it ineffective as the ghost bounty hunter could only watch in defeat as he was engulfed by the attack, obliterating his body in one shot, and leaving behind the small pint-sized ghost from within to hover harmlessly in the air.
Skulker: Uhh… best 2 out of 3?
Danny: Hmm… Don't think so.
Pulling out the Fenton thermos, Danny opens it, and a light blue laser erupts from it, catching the now puny ghost and trapping him within its depths, despite his attempts to resist. Twirling the thermos and pocketing it, Danny claps his hands for a job well done and turns to head home. It had been a stressful day, and he had plans, and he didn't want to deal with any more…
Shantae: HEY!
The sound of an upset and rather authoritative voice caught Danny's ear. Turning around, he saw that Shantae had entered the scene and was visibly upset, if the various wrecked buildings and green burn marks littering the area indicated why.
Shantae: And just where do you think you’re going? Do you have ANY idea how much damage you’ve caused?
Looking around, Danny took notice of the various amounts of collateral damage his battle with the bounty hunter had caused, causing the half-ghost kid to sheepishly rub the back of his head.
Danny: Oh, right… Sorry about the mess, but hey, as much as I’d love to stay behind and help with clean up, I got this school assignment I really need to study for, so… See ya!
Attempting to fly away, Danny hoped his lie would be a good enough excuse for not fixing the mess he had caused; he had already spent enough time getting chased all day after all and cleanup was the last thing he wanted to deal with. However, he wouldn't get far, as he suddenly felt something snag his leg. Looking back, he saw that Shantae had grabbed his ankle with…Her hair?
Shantae: Oh no, you don't. Get over here!
Reeling her head back and quickly throwing it forward, Shantae violently threw Danny down hard enough to crack the ground, earning a groan of pain from the ghostly halfa. Releasing her hold on the ghost kid, the half-genie made herself clear.
Shantae: How gullible do you think I am? I’ve used excuses like that enough times to tell when someone's lying. Like it or not, you're either fixing this mess or answering for your crimes!
Picking himself up, Danny rubbed the back of his head and floated high into the air, well beyond annoyed. He had already been chased for the duration of the day by an annoyingly persistent ghost; now he was getting hounded by some purple-haired half-naked belly dancer. Passing the point of talking, Danny channeled Ecto energy into his hands and did what he did best: Retort.
Danny: Alright, Lavender locks. You want an answer? Well, here it is… By the way, ever thought about washing your hair before grabbing people with it? I think you left some lice on my ankle.
Shantae took a step back and audibly gasped. There was no other person she knew who took better care of their hair than herself, and Danny was certainly in no position to judge her. With her rage fully justified, she lit her hands ablaze with magical fire, prepared to make the ghost kid pay for mocking her hair care! And the damage to the village, of course.

Danny was the first to attack, pointing his hand out and firing a large Ecto laser at the bellydancer, to which she narrowly, yet gracefully, backflipped to avoid. Clasping her hands together into a finger gun motion, she returned fire with her own, sending out a stream of flames that the ghost kid quickly flew around.
Charging Ecto energy into his fists once more, Danny elevates higher into he air and begins to fly around at blurring speeds, firing various Ecto Energy projectiles, sending out Ecto energy spheres, disks, and stingers. Shantae dodges most of them and counters with her own arsenal, shooting out magically enhanced fireballs, boomerangs, and superballs. The collision of ghostly and magical attacks continues, colliding in bursts of green and purple explosions.
Danny realises that Shanta's agility makes her a target too hard to strike directly, so he changes tactics, charging energy into his hands, creating a medium translucent green sphere, and kicking it down like a soccer ball at the half-genie. Pointing her fingers up, Shantae prepared to shoot the projectile down; however, before she could muster even an ember, the sphere exploded in a burst of bright green light, blinding Shantae and forcing her to cover her now tear-ripped eyes.
With an opening made, Danny quickly flew down towards his equally half-human opponent and grabbed her by her hair. Bringing them both into the sky and quickly released her to land an Ecto-charged punch to her gut, quickly sending her back to earth with a violent crash that destroyed a couple of crates and cratered the ground.

Though the impact left her head pounding, Shantae was quick to go back on the offensive, pointing her fingers out to shoot another spell, but rather than fireballs, she shot a barrage of magic missiles that homed in on the ghost kid. Seeing the oncoming magical ballistic weaponry heading his way, Danny was both surprised and irked, having previously dealt with an explosive-yielding adversary.
Danny: Missiles, what is with every odd character I fight having missiles?
Opting to fly to avoid the oncoming artillery, Danny soared through the skies to try and shake off Shanta's attack, but the magical homing properties of the missiles proved to be harder to shake off than expected. Every turn he took, the explosives were hot on his trail, so he opted to face them head-on, creating a shield of Ecto energy to block a couple of them, and choosing to coat the last one with the same ghostly energy to telekinetically redirect it back to sender.
With a swift yet graceful backflip, Shantae narrowly avoids her rebounded attack, but is quickly struck by an Ecto laser to her side, leaving a noticeable green burn on her skin that she clutches in pain. Noticing he had the upper hand, Danny couldnt help but boast.
Danny: Hope you dont mind, but I thought you could use an extra “tanning”
As the halfa chuckled to himself, Shantae picked herself up, visibly more angry than before; even so, she took a second to think of a plan, eyeing a nearby tarp attached to a market stall and gaining an idea. Aiming her fingers, Shantae fired a few fireballs at the half-ghost kid, all of which he easily dodged, even casually sidestepping one while pretending to yawn from boredom.
What he didn't notice, however, was that Shantae used the aforementioned Market tarp as a trampoline to elevate herself up to his level. Catching the ghost kid off guard, Shantae switches to her flamethrower spell and unleashes a torrent of flames at the hero of Amity Park. Danny quickly pulls up an energy shield, allowing the flames to brush past him, and promptly dispels it to counterattack. However, Shantae began to… Dance?
In the air, Shantae was shaking her hips and dancing in a style akin to Walk Like An Egyptian, and before the Ghost kid could question what the heck she was doing, Shantae seemingly disappeared in a puff of purple smoke, and in her place. A small purple monkey…
Completely dumbfounded, Danny could only float in place, beyond confused as to what he had just seen. His dawdling wouldn't last long, as monkey Shantae suddenly enveloped herself in a blue aura of energy and rocketed toward Danny with the Monkey Bullet move! Like a small fuzzy rocket, Shantae missed Danny by a hair, who had managed to narrowly fly out of the way.
Her assault didn't stop there. Flipping around in the air, Shantae charged at Danny again, and again, and again! Darting around the ghost boy until she resembled a purple blur that circled around him at a dizzying pace. Struggling to keep track of the small primate, Danny attempted to shoot her down with a few Ecto Lasers, but the half genies' newly small stature made that almost impossible. Before he could try to fire another, monkey Shantae suddenly latched onto his face.

Taken by surprise, Danny flails about in the air while attempting to pry the transformed belly dancer off him, lowering down to the streets of Scuttle Town in the process As he flew,, Danny opted to charge Ecto energy into his right fist, waiting for the right opportunity to strike the half genie by surprise, and as quickly as he could... He swung right for his target in hopes of landing a solid hit. But instead wound up striking himself in the face when Shantae opted to hop off at the last minute.
Dazed by his backfired attack, Danny held his aching head. At the same time, Shantae used this chance to transform back to normal, twirling her hair like a lasso and throwing it forward to wrap it around the halfas' torso and slam him across the streets of Scuttle Town, even dragging him across the ground for good measure and further tearing up the terrain.
It didn't take long for Danny to recover, and rather than try to break free, he charged more Ecto energy in his hand, only this time it crackled like electricity. Grabbing the belly dancer's hair, Danny sent an electric charge through it with a ghost stinger, which quickly traveled back to Shantae, giving her a nasty shock that forced her to release the ghost kid. With his opponent stunned, Danny quickly closed the gap and landed a couple of Ecto-charged blows to the half-genie.
Leaning back to avoid another hit, Shantae sent Danny away with a well-placed flip kick, began performing another dance, and transformed into a small purple bat, darting over to Danny with a small burst of speed and flying around him like an oversized bat. In an attempt to show her off to him, Danny tried firing more Ecto lasers to blast her down, attempting to be more precise than before. Firing a well-placed laser, Danny seemingly managed to envelop Bat Shantae and blast her away, giving the ghost kid a bit of ease for seemingly winning the battle.
That's when he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his leg, causing him to grab it while hoping in place with the other, then the same pain came from his side, then his neck, and all over his body. The sharp pain continued until Danny found himself violently scratching all over his body in an attempt to make the sudden itching stop. From the backside of his costume, Shantae craweld out, revealing that she had turned herself into a small mouse, biting down on Danny one last time before hopping off.
As the half-ghost boy continued to itch himself, Shantae used this chance to transform once again, this time turning into a green-skinned mermaid. Before Danny could react, he was suddenly swatted away by her large tail-fin, smashing him into a nearby building. Following up on this, Mer-Shantae leaped into the air and spun like a top, sending out a flurry of explosive bubbles at the halfa, but even when stuck in a wall, Danny wasnt going to allow himself to go out by bubbles of all things.
Forming both his hands into finger guns, Danny shot an array of narrow Ecto lasers that popped all the bubbles one by one, each one exploding with the force of a frag grenade in the air, and further damaging Scuttle Town, much to the dismay of many of the bystanders watching their brawl. Shantae quickly takes notice of this and quickly changes back to normal, realizing that their battle was doing more harm than good; at this rate, her getting fired was bound to be an inevitability…
Refusing to let that become a reality yet again, Shantae knew she had to take this battle somewhere more secluded, and she knew exactly where. Narrowly avoiding Danny's surprise punch by jumping to the side, time seemed to slow to a crawl as she began to dance, rather than changing into another small, cute animal, she transformed into a massive elephant!
Using her trunk, she quickly grabbed the passing half ghost's leg and spun him around, before eventually releasing him out of the village and towards a new location. Swapping transformations, Shantae changed from an elephant to a light blue harpy, flapping her wings and taking off toward the direction of the thrown ghost kid.
-Location: Spider forest
Within the dreary setting of the Spider Forest, darkness filled the area, spiders of various sizes crawled around, some of which were in the middle of preparing their webs to snag dinner for the day. Only for Danny to fly through multiple of them, as he careened through the air, smashing through multiple tree branches as he did, his trajectory was halted by the bark of a tree, cracking it in half as it fell backward from the force.
With his head throbbing, Danny picked himself up, still dazed and confused from Shantaes various transformations.
Danny: Ugh… I thought the monkey was weird; I didn't think she’d have the whole circus act going on at once.
Brushing himself clean of spiderwebs and leaves, Danny inspected his surroundings. He had lost track of how many times he wound up in dark forest-like settings; it's rather par for the course with being a ghost and all. Observing the forest for a little longer, Danny gained another idea and elevated into the air, before suddenly vanishing from view and slinking into the darkness. Almost immediately after, Shantae reverted from her harpy form and scanned her surroundings. She was all too familiar with this setting and how the darkness and shade provided by the trees made it almost impossible to track anything down.
Suddenly, Shantae is blasted away by a burst of green energy, knocking her further into the reaches of the forest and leaving behind a smoldering crater. From the darkness, Danny is only seen through his outline, but the cocky smirk on his face is all too visible.
Tumbling into a tree, Shantae rubbed her aching backside but was quick to get back up. She looked around aimlessly, trying to pinpoint where the origin of the blast came from, or, in other words, where the heck Danny was. Pointing her finger up, Shantae planned to unleash a stream of fire in hopes of striking the ghost boy out of the air. Sure, the forest might get a little burned, but it was all in the name of subduing a criminal, right?
But before she could so much as muster an Ember, she felt a sharp kick to her rear, knocking her into the air. Following this up was what felt like a punch to her gut, a tackle to her back, and finally, a massive green blast of energy that knocked her back down. Struggling to get up, Shantae's searching became more frantic, but Danny's location was nowhere to be seen. It was like he was invisible…
That's when Shantae remembered a spell she had gotten from a fellow half-genie, causing her to facepalm for not remembering it sooner. Clapping her hands together, Shantae began to dance once more, but rather than transform, a large teal-skinned apparition wearing a robe with golden rings manifested behind her, and a bright pink glow emitted from her body.

Danny had watched Shantaes dancing from the treetops above, but was surprised to see that she was glowing instead of transforming... Brushing this off, he began to charge energy into his right hand in preparation for a massive Ecto laser; It's not like Shantaes fancy lightshow would make finding him any easier after all. Almost immediately after that thought, he would be proven wrong when the same glow suddenly enveloped his being as she was, and before he could process what she was doing, he found that he was suddenly visible again!
Shantae: There you are!
With her opponent's position made clear, Shantae acted fast, spotting two tall trees besides Danny and running up to them. Hoping onto the tree on his right, Shantae lept off and did the same to the left, quickly wall-jumping between them to reach Danny and deliver a powerful kick that knocked the ghost boy away. To keep up the pressure, Shantae pulled out a large purple pirate hat to glide over towards Amity Park's guardian to land one more kick that sent him crashing down to the ground. Somehow pocketing the rather large pirate's hat, Shantae switched to a scymtar and aimed it below her, letting gravity do the work to impale Danny with a powerful downward thrust!

Not wanting to be skewered, Danny briefly panicked before quickly recalling he could phase through solid surfaces, which he did, turning himself light blue and slinking into the ground, thankfully avoiding the pointed end of the half-genie's blade.
Stabbing only the ground, Shantae quickly pulled it free and pocketed it for a new weapon: A pistol. Turning around, Shantae fired at the air, suspecting the ghost kid would try another sneak attack. Her suspicions would be correct, as Danny would be made visible yet again to dodge the oncoming bullet.
Danny: Okay, seriously? Where are you keeping these things?
Lowering her weapon, Shantae thought about his quarry for a second.
Shantae: Now that I think about it… No idea, they sort of just appear when I need them.
While hung up on the inquiry about how she can hold so many things despite her light dresswear, her pistol would be blasted out of her hand, courtesy of a small Ecto laser from Danny, who blew the tip of his finger like a gun. Fed up with his taunting gestures, Shantae opted to use her real weapon, swinging her hair and sending it at the half-ghost to grab him.
Danny simply floated in place, his body still light blue, making it obvious he was still intangible, as he expected the half-genie's attack to go right through him. To his surprise, the exact opposite happened; Shantae had grabbed his leg like the last few times and slammed him to the ground with a violent tug.
Perplexed, Danny internally questions how she could work through his phasing, but his train of thought is halted when Shantae pulls him toward her before kicking him away. Repeatedly, Shantae would pull Danny in before, knocking him back with another kick before tossing the ghost kid into a nearby tree and quickly tapping into her transformation magic again, to turn into a large spider girl hybrid.
Turning to point her abdomen at the halfa, Spider-Shantae shot out a large string of webbing from her spinnerets to ensnare him to the tree, binding him in place. Unable to free himself from the strong webbing, Danny could only look up to see Shantae hold her hands together like she was entering a meditative state. Instead, electricity began to surge around her body and hands before firing it at him like a beam!
Forced to take the full force of the Super Mega Stormpuff, Danny yelled in pain as the electricity surged through his body, with the pain growing worse, he could feel himself slowly transform back into his human self from the strain. But no… he wasnt going down now, not while tied up to a tree at least. With some concentration, Danny's body began to glow a deep green as the electricity surrounding him changed color to match. With a powerful flex, followed by a determined yell, he freed himself from his binds and dispelled Shantae's attack in one go!
Shantae staggered back, taken by surprise not only by the ghost kids' sudden second wind, but that he was surrounded by an electric aura like she was. Opening his eyes, Danny revealed them to be glowing a menacing green, raising his electricity-riddled fists to show that he had absorbed the attack from Shantaes Storm Puff!
With her lightning surging through her body, Danny was quick, very quick, to zip around the half-genie. His speed was supercharged from her absorbed attack, giving him the appearance of a green electric blur that kicked up a small green whirlwind. Shantae struggled to track the halfas' movements as she tried to resist the force of the green cyclone while attempting to strike him down with her hair or fire, only to miss every time.
Having thrown her off entirely, Danny flew high into the sky and charged his fists with Ecto and electric energy before hastily flying back down, aiming to ram into the bellydancer at full force.

Turning back, Shantae saw what seemed to be a green meteor careening towards her. Unable to dodge in time, she was forced to take his attack at full force, the impact of which was so great that it smashed both of them through the ground, leaving behind a large hole that revealed the secret entryway to an unknown cavern.
Location: Underground Chamber.
Crashing into an uncharted dungeon, the dust settles to reveal Danny having grabbed Shantae by her hair once again, violently spinning her around and tossing her into one of the pillars holding it up, embedding her in it.
With some struggle, Shantae was quick to free herself, but the continuous impacts of Danny's blows were beginning to take their toll on her, forcing her to take a knee to try and catch her breath. Her attempts at recovery would be cut short as she narrowly dodged another laser from Danny. To her surprise, when the beam made contact with some unsuspecting Tinker Bats that happened to be in the area, they were frozen solid! One of them was even turned into a snowman (with a hat and corncob pipe to match)
Though he missed once, Danny didn't intend to miss again. He built up cryogenic ghost energy within his palms for a freezing blast, whereas Shantae built up as much fire as her injured body would let her to counter it. Without a thought, both half breeds unleashed their thermal attacks, the Bellydancers' fire clashing with the ghost hunters' ice and kicking up a large cloud of steam that obscured the entire underground cavern.
Shielding her eyes, Shantae squinted to try and make out the now misty layout of the cavern, but rather than mindlessly try and make her way through, she used this chance to dance once more, surrounding herself in yet another pink glow that began to stitch up and fix any previous injuries with the revival dance. And to quickly remove the mist, she transformed into an elephant and took a deep breath with her trunk before violently exhaling the mist away like an air duster.
Being able to see again, ScuttleTown's guardian took notice of the ghost boy's disappearance, putting her on the defensive; he had tried the same trick back in the forest, and she was ready for anything this time. From a wall behind her, Danny peeked his head out, having turned intangible again. At first, he opted to blast Shantae in the back with a well-placed Ecto laser, but he had a better idea… Darting from his hiding place, Danny flew straight toward Shantae at full speed, possibly to ram into her.
Feeling a slight chill down her spine, Shanate quickly turned to see the ghost kid flying straight at her, but failed to properly react in time for what happened next. Turning himself light blue once more, Danny phased right into Shantae!
At first, nothing seemed to happen, allowing the half-genie to open her eyes slowly and curiously inspect her body, nothing seemed to happen at first. Suddenly, she began to clutch her head as a voice that wasnt her own began to go off in her mind, and her pupils began to twitch as they turned from their normal cerulean blue color into a bright green. Danny was trying to overshadow her!

Slowly, the half-genie began to succumb to the influence of the ghost residing in her, her movements no longer feeling like her own. But right as it seemed like she lost control. She stopped… Took a took a deep breath and began to focus, clutching her fists with some effort and a strong yell, Shanate ejected the ghost boy from her body with a strong flex!
Taking a breather, Shanate's eyes returned to their normal color, whereas Danny was floored by his possession attempt's rejection and utterly perplexed by his opponent's surprising mental defenses.
Danny: Well… Can’t say I was expecting that to happen…
Getting back up, Danny briefly brushed some dirt off himself and turned to re-engage, only to be caught off guard by Shnataes' talons digging into his costume's collar. She had turned into a harpy and was sporting an upset look that read “Keep your grimy body to yourself!”
With a takeoff strong enough to release a burst of wind below her, Harpy Shantae positioned the hero of Amity Parks' backside to the ceiling, smashing them through several of the underground chambers' layers. Each featuring a brief cameo.
One floor shows a gang of Tinkerbats scrounging for parts before getting distracted by the halfa duo smashing through, almost immediately after a tall purple skill woman in a pirate getup stomped onto the scene to reprimand them.
Risky Boots: Hey! Quite dawdling and get back to scavenging!
Doing so, the gang of small dark creatures got back to it. On another floor, A green-skinned living corpse known as Rottytops was standing next to a spikey-haired, navy blue-haired male with a yellow headband known as Bolo. The latter, having picked up a strongly shaped bottle and rubbing it, from it the ghostly genie Desiree emerged in a cloud of purple smoke.
Desiree: Thank you for freeing me, tell me? What is it you wish for? There is nothing that I can't-
Bolo: Eh… No thanks, I'll pass.
Rottytops: Same here.
Desiree: What? What pair of fools would turn down the opportunity to have any wish granted?
Bolo: Well, we already have a genie for a friend.
Almost on queue, Shantae and Danny smash through the floor before going through the next ceiling, Rotty pointing out her as she left.
Rottytops: See? Told you.
Gaining an annoyed look, Desiree chooses to re-enter her bottle. We then cut over to the last floor, which featured a large, red, yellow-spotted cephalopod seated at a poker table holding a set of cards. Across from him was a light blue ghost in overalls with his own set in hand, the two in an intense game of chance…
Squid Baron: You got any 5s?
Box ghost: Beware… For I have! Go fish.
Once again. Shantae and Danny smash through the last floor before finally reaching the surface of the cavern, of which neither comedic relief paid them much mind, continuing with their game.
Location: A Desert
From the sands below, Shantae and Danny erupted, the former not realizing her grip until they were both high in the air and tossing her fellow half breed away. Tucking her wings in, Shantae fired a volley of razor-sharp feathers at Danny, the thin yet sharp projectiles doing little damage, but stinging just enough to force him to block with his arms, the feathers tearing away bits of his costume.
In retaliation, Danny created three giant ice crystals and fired them like frozen torpedoes, Shanate gracefully flying around to avoid them, but barely dodging the last, which nicked her wing. Changing tactics, Shantae transformed into a crab, conjuring two giant pillars of water between the ghost boy and submerging herself within one before shooting back out like a crabby rocket. Danny dodged her first claw snip, but nearly gets caught when she rockets out of the opposite water pillar at a faster pace.
Repeatedly dodging, Danny opts to point both his hands out and releases two beams of ice-cold ghost energy at the pillars, freezing them both instantly, one of which still had Shantae inside, encasing her in ice! Ready to wrap this battle up, Danny creates a large sphere of Ecto energy to blast the frozen pillar that housed crab Shantae into pieces.
Before he could fire, a smaller, similar crab-like creature emerged from the top of the ice pillar, having dug through the ice thanks to its conveniently drill-shaped shell. In a quick poof of pink smoke, Shante switched from the Drill Crab to the Jet Octo, and launched herself right at Danny's face, her tentacles fully grappling his face and making it much harder to remove her.
Danny attempted to pry her off, but he remembered this having happened last time, rather than try to punch her off like before, he redirected his Ecto energy into his eyes and blasted her away, knocking her out of her transformation.
While she’s stunned, Danny concentrates his energy once more, and from his being, three more identical versions of himself emerge! Meanwhile, rather than transform again, Shantae reaches into her pockets and pulls out a muffin, stuffing it in her mouth, she’s suddenly able to stand on the air as if it were a solid surface, giving her ample time to avoid an Ecto laser from the halfa. Aiming her fingers to return fire, Shantae felt a punch to her side that sent her tumbling, getting back up to see not one, not two, but four Danny clones!
Danny: Up for un-evening the odds, guys?
The Danny clones all nod in agreement as they all fly in on Shantae at once. That half genie can only step back in astonishment as the duplicates all gang up on her! Each one of them takes turns knocking her around in the air and landing various blows to her

.
With a final combined blast of Ecto energy, the group of half ghosts sent Shantae away far across the air, the float muffins' effects causing her to tumble across the skies like a floor. Shanta's injuries were great, but she was still standing, refusing to back down despite the odds. As the Danny’s closed in, ready to deal a final blow, Shantae waited for the right moment, allowing them to close in right… Right before using her super pike ball spell to unleash an arsenal's worth of simitars in a burst of pink smoke.
Taken by surprise, the Danny clones were unable to avoid the sudden outburst of swords, one of which was skewered, while two of them were sliced in half! The original Danny managed to avoid the sudden onslaught of flying swords, allowing the damaged clones to melt into green energy to merge with him and regaining his full strength. Before he could act and do anything, he was suddenly smashed by a large blue shell. Shantae had transformed into the Bumper Tortoise to smash into him, spinning across the air like a large spikey top.
Suddenly, the float muffins' effects wore off, and both Danny and Shantae found themselves falling back to earth. The weight of Shantae's shell still smashed against Danny as they approached closer to the ground. Danny tried to push the heavy shell off him, but it was too late, having been entirely smashed into the ground by the giant Testudinidaes' shell. Transforming back to normal, Shantae hopped off the batter and bruised ghost kid, and without so much as a warning, kicked him across the face! Staggering, Danny didn't bother with a response, instead charging Ecto energy into his fists as he went in for a ghostly right hook, landing a solid hit to Shantaes gut, as the two entered a brutal hand-to-hand!

The two byproducts of humanity and mysticism continued their brawl, and as they fought, it was made apparent which of the two was the superior fighter. Shantae weaved and ducked through most of Danny's wild swings while smoothly landing her own kicks across his face, torso, and elsewhere she deemed worth a good kick, making up for the savage beatdown he had given her from his clones.
With a strong backwards flip kick, Shantae sent the halfa flying across the desert sands, kicking up a cloud of sand and dust. She wasnt done with him yet as she began to chase him to continue her beatdown; however, Danny quickly recovered and surrounded his hand with cryogenic energy. Rather than blast Shantae into a popsicle, he placed it on the ground, freezing the sand before him as it rapidly crept toward the bellydancer.
As she ran, Shantae failed to halt herself before the ice completely froze the ground below her, forcing her to helplessly slide toward Danny while flailing about to not fall on her rear, Danny meanwhile, charged as much energy into his fist as he could for a powerful ghostly haymaker, slugging Shantae right across her face and carrening her toward a nearby sand dune, but not before she quickly fired a magic missile nearly point blank at the ghost kid, setting off an explosion that sent him flying as well.
Both half breeds of science and magic crashed with a rough landing, Danny skidding across the hot sands of the desert while Shantae was nearly buried from colliding with the sand dune. Wobbly Shantae picked herself out of the hill of sand, her bloody nose and injured arm making it clear she was nearing her limit.
Danny, on the other hand, barely manages to pick himself up, wiping a noticeable trail of green blood like fluids from his mouth while clutching a large burn mark left on his chest.
A tense silence filled the air, both fighters either waiting for their opponent to make a move or preparing one themselves. Shantae was the first to try to act, but her injuries and dwindling stamina instead forced her to her knees, having pushed herself too far. Seeing this as a window of opportunity, Danny shakingly got to his feet while clutching his chest wound, this battle was about to end now he thought to himself.
Taking as deep a breath as possible, Danny exhaled it all in one go in the form of a giant green funnel of pure green Ecto energy, using his most devastating technique: The Ghostly Wail! Shantae stared ahead at what was sure to be her demise.
Acting fast, she dug through her pockets for anything useful. A heart squid? Nope, Lobster Tail? She was far too hurt for it to matter, pulling out one last item, continuing to dig through her pockets. She desperately tried to find anything of use, but it was too late; the massive wave of Ecto energy had encompassed her. The half genie screamed in pain as the energy of the ghostly wail burned her body, as it began to fade out of view slowly. Shortly after, Danny let up his attack, falling on his rear as he took deep yet shallow breaths.
Looking over at the spot Shantae was last seen, he saw nothing, no ash, no traces of purple hair, nothing. Picking himself up, Danny held his aching head. He could feel himself slowly shifting between his human and ghost form, but with some effort, he remained as a ghost. Shantae was a tough battle; he had the battle scars to show it, but it was over at least. Choosing to walk to save energy, he made his way back to the village to search for the way back home…
That is, until he suddenly felt something silky yet sticky wrap around his arms and waist. Looking around, Danny searched for the culprit, turning around and seeing that it was none other than Shantae in her spider form. She was alive, albeit covered in various green burn marks, but she was standing either way. Danny could only ponder how she could have survived, let alone sneak up on him.
A brief flashback appears to show that Shantae had pulled out a green tub and rubbed its contents on her skin, causing her to vanish from view, alongside that she had performed another dance that allowed her to teleport without a trace, a close call to be sure, but it worked out in the end.
Danny struggled to free himself; the use of his ghostly wail took a lot out of him, he couldn't even phase out of his restraints, let alone fly. This gave Shantae the opportunity to gran him with her hair once more, spinning him around for a few moments, and finally releasing him into the sky. Transforming into a harpy only for the last time, she took off toward her adversary, grabbing him by the webbing that encased him and flying him higher into the air.
With a violent toss, Shantae tossed the halfa further into the sky until he was just below the clouds themselves, quickly flying up to match his level. Turning back to normal, Shantae performed one last dance, her body glowing a deep purple, allowing the magical energy inside her to rapidly build up until it reached its peak. Grabbing the helpless half-ghost, Shantae unleashed her most powerful spell: Obliterate!
The screen then suddenly goes white as Shantae unleashes every ounce of her magic at once. Shortly after, from the desert, a massive cloud of magical energy explodes outward in a release of purple and pink sparkly smoke, and a powerful shockwave sweeps the area below, kicking up large clouds of sand.
From the magical smoke, a single figure crashes back down to earth, falling flat on their face and burying themselves in sand. The figure picks itself up and shakes off the sand to reveal itself to be none other than Shantae. Looking up, the bellydancer of ScuttleTown shakes sand from her hair and gazes toward the cloud of magical smoke as it fills the air before falling straight on her back, allowing the sun's harsh rays to encompass her body, it's not like it was any worse than that ghost kid's lasers after all.
Opening her eyes, She saw what seemed to be a falling piece of clothing slowly descend toward the ground, the sun's intense rays making it hard to see fully. Positioning herself onto her rear, she held out a hand and allowed it to land in her palms, inspecting it to show that it was a black piece of clothing with the letter “D” imprinted on the front. It didn't take long for Shantae to put two and two together. Getting back to her feet, she couldn't help but jump up and down while waving the once hero of Amity Park remains around like a flag of victory.
Shantae: Oh yeah! That's another threat taken care of! Chalk one up for the Guardian Genie of ScuttleTown!
Her boasting would be cut short as she remembered that she was greatly injured, the various bruises and green burn marks littering her body making that clear as she suddenly winced from too much sudden movement. On top of that, the mention of ScuttleTown reminded her of something very important… Looking across the desert, she saw that ScuttleTown wasnt too far, alongside that she saw the state that she and the ghost boy had left it in.
Wincing once more, Shantae exhaled. She had taken care of one problem, and now an entirely new one was presented before her. Slowly traversing back home, she prepared for the worst: being fired once again as the cloud of magical energy continues to linger above…

Results[]
Boomstick: I guess Danny can finally live up to his name for real, huh? I don't think even an apparition was left behind after that explosion.
Wiz: This result surprised us, to be entirely honest. While Shantaes' varied magic and accomplishments were impressive, they ultimately don't stack up to some of Danny's feats when he’s at his best.
Boomstick: But theres always more to the picture than just who can blow up the most cities, islands, or planets. So we’ll break it down into three categories to explain the outcome.

PHYSICAL STATS
Wiz: Starting off with the simplest, who was stronger? While Shanate may be decently strong in her own right, being able to move 18-ton stone blocks with just a whip of your hair is nothing to scoff at. She ultimately didn't hold much of a candle when compared to Danny.
Boomstick: Even if she doubled her strength by turning into an elephant or drinking some monster milk, Danny's own strength was too far of a gap for her to close. The dude is strong enough to casually carry around entire school buses filled with kids and a ghost dragon weighing 120 tons without needing any forms or weird items. Wait… Is monster milk actually-
Wiz: -Don't think about it, trust me… Even their speed painted a fairly clear picture. While both of them were similar in reactionary speeds, being able to dodge lasers and all. Danny certainly had better movement speed, being able to access his flight and powers simultaneously, which gave him the slight advantage of overall mobility compared to Shantae, who had to change form to keep up continuously.
Boomstick: And in terms of who had more power, I think a giant ghost vegetable monster covering most of North America with vines in seconds, outperforms surviving a volcano exploding, as awesome as that sounds. With so much muscle in that scrawny teen body of his, how could Danny ever lose?
EXPERIENCE
Wiz: Well, as you mentioned before, strength is only one part of the puzzle. While Danny was certainly stronger, Shantae was undoubtedly the more well-rounded protector.
Boomstick: Danny may have been a seasoned fighter in his own right, and certainly had a knack for on-the-fly strategy, but compared to Shantae, who’s fought WAY more monsters, pirates, monster pirates, and an even wider variety of wacky creatures, it was clear who'd been doing this for longer. Just the fact that Shatae is a young adult makes it obvious she’s more proficient at fighting against characters with crazy abilities.
Wiz: Not to mention, Shantae had actual hand-to-hand combat training while Danny usually relies on general blunt force, meaning if the half-genie could close the gap, she’d have no problem showing off her superior fighting skills.
Boomstick: And while Danny being faster on foot makes that seem pointless, you have to remember that Shantae still had similar reactionary speed, so she could certainly keep pace with Danny's own attacks, both up close and at range.
ABILITIES
Boomstick: Which brings us to the real million-dollar question: Whose powers were better suited to finish the job? Genie magic or SpoOooky ghost energy?
Wiz: While Danny's ectoplasmic-based abilities could definitely deal a serious number on Shantae, should he land a solid hit. Shanatae surprisingly had counters to almost all of Danny's skills and abilities.
Boomstick: Both could make shields, but Shantaes had a leg up with being able to reflect Danny's attacks or straight up make her invincible. Even if Danny were to land a solid blow, nothing was stopping her from busting a move and restoring her health with one of her many healing spells. And guess what? Even if she did suffer a fatal blow, her auto-potions would bring her back from death's door, ready for round 2.
Wiz: Well, dont get the wrong idea, this doesnt mean Shantae could instantly come back from say, being reducded to ashes or Danny phasing through her body and removing a vital organ. But even so, while Shanta's typically had a limited pool of magic, items such as the Coral Siren Monster card allow her magic to slowly restore itself over time or she could just equip the tiara to use her spells for as long as she wanted without limit. She could reasonably keep her defenses up indefinitely, while Danny would eventually run low on stamina and depower given enough time.
Boomstick: So, the question was: could Shantae last against Dannys superior fire power to outlast his energy and land a killing blow? Spoiler alert, she could! Having so many ways to heal or defend herself while replenishing her magic to a potentially endless degree made it clear she could keep up with the ghost kid for as long as seen needed.
Wiz: And here's where Shantae most prominent advantages come into play. While Danny ghost powers seemed to be an issue, Shantae surprisingly had counters to a vast majority of them. Being able to resist the village-wide mental effects of a living memory strongly implies Shantae's mind can ward off Danny's possession, her Seer Dance made any invisibility atteml pointless, and she has shown on numerous occasions that she can harm and even kill ghosts, with or without her powers.

Boomstick: And if you think about it, there was technically nothing stopping Shantae from granting herself a wish and poofing Danny's powers away. Wouldn't be the first time he'd gotten screwed over by a genie after all. Sure, she hasn't used it for combative purposes, but being able to revert an entire village back to normal seconds after getting her stolen powers back strongly implies she more than has the potential to do the same to Danny's transformation. Leaving him entirely vulnerable.

Wiz: Danny was for sure one of the most tenacious ghost fighters around, and he could definitely win the day in most cases. But the Bellydancer of ScuttleTown's wider experience, vast array of items, and genie magic that counters his ghostly abilities gave her all that she needed to turn the once half-ghost into a complete ghost.
Boomstick: Danny tried to “Overshadow” the half-genie in this crazy brawl between half breeds, but he couldn't take the heat. I'm sure this bellydancer was “enShantae” to win. Get it? Its like a mix of her name and the French word, its ironic becuase shes Arabic and-
Wiz: -The winner is Shantae.

The fight for this is "Phantom dancing." It would be an Arabic techno hybrid style of techno and Middle Eastern music with emphasis on basslines and synthwave, with an eerie yet eccentric vibe to it. Referencing the tone of both series. A few bits of Danny's and Shantaes theme song sprinkled in
The title refers to the "Phantom" part of Danny's superhero alias, while the dancing refers to Shanta's profession as a belly dancer. It is also a reference to the song "Phantom Dancing," a Luigi's Mansion song created by CG5 on YouTube.
The cover art shows a genie lamp, with the nozzle resembling an elephant trunk and the handle being a monkey tail (A reference to AwesomeEthan48's Genie and the Dragon Track Art!), with the center being painted in black with Danny's logo as two energy rings encompass it. At the same time, a purple mist emits from the ground and a green ghost escapes from the end of the nozzle.
