Super Mario vs Star Wars! Which of these two princesses will win in this crazy battle? Will it be the member of the rebel alliance or the princess of Sarasaland?

Wiz: In fiction, princesses are usually depicted as people who have to be saved.

Boomstick: But these two show they're not always the damsel in distress.

Wiz: Leia Organa Solo, one of the leading members in the rebel alliance.

Boomstick: And Daisy, Sarasaland's sporty princess. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.

Wiz: And it's our job to analyse characters' stats, abilities and weapons to see who would win... a Death Battle.

Daisy kicks into DEATH BATTLE![]

Wiz: The world of Super Mario. It's a beautiful place.

Boomstick: Well, until the princess is kidnapped, then Mario has to save them.

Wiz: A devilish monster once decided to kidnap the princess so Mario went on an adventure to save them.

Boomstick: And... also Luigi was there.

Wiz: If you think we're talking about Peach, then you're gravely mistaken.

Boomstick: We're talking about the princess of Sarasaland, Daisy!

Wiz: There is not much known about Daisy's earlier years except she was the princess of Sarasaland, a desert kingdom.

Boomstick: But one day she got kidnapped by this alien called Tatanga and the Mario bros had to save her.

Wiz: The bros defeated Tatanga and freed Daisy.

Boomstick: And since then she's never needed saving from anyone!

Wiz: She stuck with the gang and became more casual, with high energy. She participated in various events, including sports, kart racing and board game-type "parties".

Boomstick: She got a LOT of stuff through these adventures.

Wiz: To start this laundry list of things, she has a lot of sports equipment like tennis rackets, baseball bats and a football.

Boomstick: She also has customisable karts and bikes which she can speed along in.

Wiz: And she has access to some power-ups. She can double her durability with a Super Mushroom, or start shooting fire balls with the Fire Flower.

Boomstick: However, those aren't the crazy power-ups. She can turn into an elephant and smack things away with her trunk as well as absorb water.

Wiz: Using the elephant form or ground pound, she can smash through solid brick.

Boomstick: She also has a cool Drill Mushroom, which attaches a drill to her which can block lethal damage AND attack. AND she can burrow into the ground. That's cool!

Wiz: Her final notable power-up would be the Bubble Flower. once in bubble form, she can shoot bubbles which can be used as temporary platforms or hit the opponent and turn them into a coin floating in a bubble.

Boomstick: Being turned into a coin, it's painful, I would know.

Wiz: What.. do you do on a daily basis?

Boomstick: Do this with you.

Wiz: Then how did you get turned into a coin?

Boomstick: Mario vs Sonic 2018.

Wiz: Oh, uh, right.

Boomstick: Wiz being a criminal out of the way, Daisy had one last power which is her iconic, unique go-to.

Wiz: It's her flower power. It's very versatile, as she can summon daisies (the flower) for various effects.

Boomstick: She can detect where things will fall, with a bit of help can unleash a powerful hyper strike and generally boost her attacks.

Wiz: Speaking of her attacks, she can get pretty powerful.

Feats

Smashed through brick.
Breathed underwater indefinitely.
Slapped Bowser into the horizon.
Won various races and sports matches.
Could swim away from a black hole for at least 30 seconds.
Defeated Bowser, King Boo, Petey Piranha and more.

Boomstick: Daisy is insane. She could out swim a black hole!

Wiz: Considering black holes can absorb light, she would have to move at an incredible amount faster than light.

Boomstick: She's no slouch when it comes to strength either, she could send Bowser into the horizon and he survived a galaxy-wide explosion!

Wiz: It's debatable whether it was actually an explosion or the universe just got reset, but considering Bowser kept his memories and such, the explosion explanation is more likely.

Boomstick: Overall, Daisy became an icon despite her lack of main game appearances.

Wiz: She became an incredibly popular character and even fan ideas like her hitting it off with Luigi became real.

Boomstick: She will always be an amazing character in the Mario hall of fame.

Daisy: "That's right! Woo!"

Leia blasts everyone in DEATH BATTLE![]

Wiz: The age of the Galactic Empire was a dark time.

Boomstick: The good Jedi were extinct and the bad Sith were in control!

Wiz: However, in this dark time, there was a glimmer of hope. The Rebel Alliance.

Boomstick: A bunch of people who wanted to screw the empire over banded together. And possibly the most important one of all of them was Princess Leia.

Wiz: While she wouldn't know for a long time, Leia was born as a part of the Skywalker family, a family at war.

Boomstick: Yeah, her dad Anakin Skywalker used to be a Jedi but he kinda turned evil and became the most feared warrior in the entire galaxy, Darth Vader, who Leia had interacted with not knowing it was her father. *gasps for air* That was a mouthful.

Wiz: The Jedi were able to get the two children of the dying Padme Amidala, Anakin's wife.

Boomstick: The boy, Luke Skywalker, was sent to a desert planet with his uncle and aunt while Leia lucked out! She was adopted by a general and became a princess!

Wiz: Leia became Princess Leia Organa and joined the Rebel Alliance in hopes of destroying the Empire.

Boomstick: Sadly for her though, she was captured by the Empire on one mission while they were on the newly built Death Star, which has a planet destroying laser.

Wiz: She was forced to watch as her planet of Alderaan was blown to pieces by the power of the Empire.

Boomstick: She was also put in prison and on death row. Ouch.

Wiz: Thankfully for her, Luke, accompanied by the pilot Han Solo, came to save her.

Boomstick: They escaped the Death Star and even blew it up with a Rebel attack.

Wiz: The Rebel Alliance fought for years and eventually won but wouldn't have been possible without weaponry

Boomstick: She was some epic blasters, which are like guns but they shoot lasers, with a pistol and rifle! She even has some bombs on her too!

Wiz: Specifically thermal detonators. She also has a dangerous lightsaber (or laser sword) but she doesn't keep it on her.

Boomstick: The coolest thing she has is the force! It's this energy that exists in very living being through these things called Midochlorians.

Wiz: Leia didn't receive training so her abilities with it are limited but she can likely move small objects, react at high speeds and read some thoughts.

Boomstick: Of course, what good would weapons be if they can't do damage?

Wiz: Her blasters should be around small building levels of power and her thermal detonators could blow up skyscrapers.

Boomstick: Also, thanks to the force, she could react to blaster fire.

Wiz: She made a huge contribution to the Rebel Alliance and ended up marrying Han Solo.

Boomstick: In the new Republic, she became a war general, like her half-dad, how cute.

Wiz: Overall, she was tough and truly showed women could fight as well.

Boomstick: It turned out the protagonist relied on the princess instead of the princess relying on the protagonist.

Leia: "Well, someone's gotta save our skins!"

Pre-Battle[]

Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set, we've run the data through all possibilities.

Boomstick: It's time for a Death Battleeee!

Battle[]

Music: Made-up Daisy vs Leia theme - Blooming Rebellion

Set-Up[]

An upbeat Daisy runs through a contrasting barren desert. The shot moves to show she is just outside Sarasaland. Humming a tune, she begins skipping, until she notices something odd. Something is floating... above Sarasaland!

Daisy: Oh no!

It's a spaceship! Tatanaga must be back! Daisy then notices another spaceship flying above the desert she's in. She thinks for a second, and every possibility she thinks of is that this person is either working with Tatanga or Tatanga himself.

Daisy: I have to protect my kingdom!

She sees the ship land next to the entrance to the kingdom. The wall. Daisy approaches the ship and Leia comes out. Leia waves away the ship, preparing to enter thee kingdom.

Leia: This will soon be an ally of us rebels, hopefully.

Daisy hides behind a nearby cactus and eats a Fire Flower. Leia, knowing she may have to use force, gets out her blaster. Daisy jumps out from behind the cactus, starting to form a fireball.

Fight![]

Leia notices the attack but can't dodge it completely. Her clothes are charred. Leia, believing this is a spy of the Empire, fires back. Daisy is hit by 2 consecutive blaster shots, destroying her fire power-up.

Daisy: Waaah!

Leia: No mercy for imperial soldiers.

Daisy thinks for a bit, and comes to the conclusion that Leia wants to overthrow her. Enraged, Daisy eats a drill mushroom and burrows into the ground.

Leia: Oh no, where did she go?

Leia hears rumbling below her. Daisy pops out and begins drilling into her. She grunts but then places a thermal detonator on the now airborne Daisy. Leia jumps off, landing on her feet. Daisy is left in the air with an unknown device strapped to her. She looks curiously at it but then is sent flying with an explosion. Leia sighs and walks toward the gates. Daisy lands in the sand, her head stuck. Daisy gets out of the sand, revealing her drill power-up and her dress had been blown to pieces. Now in her sport outfit, Daisy calls for her bike and rides back towards Sarasaland. Leia barely senses her, but is too slow to react as they break through the gates into the streets of Sarasaland. Leia attempts to shoot Daisy to put her off, but it just annoys Daisy. She whacks Leia with a baseball bat. Leia, still holding onto the bike, quickly thinks of an idea. She places a thermal detonator on the bike, causing it to explode. Both princesses are sent to opposite rooftops. Leia pulls out her blaster again and begins firing, but Daisy eats a Super Mushroom to buy her time. She looks through her item bag.

Daisy: Ok, tennis racket and tennis ball...

She sends a tennis ball at the firing Leia, putting her off.

Daisy:...football...

Daisy prepares to kick it at Leia but she pops it with a blaster shot. She has now shot enough to destroy Daisy's mushroom power-up.

Daisy:...A-ha! Bubble Flower!

Daisy equips the power-up and starts shooting bubbles at Leia. Leia struggles to pop them all with one blaster so she pulls out her rifle. Realising the problem with her plan, Daisy struggles to fire bubbles with the damage Leia had done to her. Daisy was soon overwhelmed and jumped up into the air. Leia looked up, only to see-

Leia: What the...

An elephant with some features of Daisy? The impact of Daisy's landing on her rooftop caused Leia to wobble a bit before getting smacked across 2 rooftops by Daisy's trunk. She crashed through the first one's chimney and knocked over some food on the second one. She devised a plan. Daisy was trying to look for her, but she used the remains of the chimney as cover while she held the food cart. Using her limited knowledge of the force, Leia tossed heaps of food at Daisy. Lots of plumbs, figs, and apples were hurled at Daisy. With her elephant power-up having worn off, Daisy kicked into high gear. Literally, as she put on her gear from Mario strikers. She jumped across a rooftop to find Leia, who had. recalled her rifle. Daisy struggled against the storm of blaster shots.

Daisy: Woooooah! I... I am the princess of Sarasaland! I... No, hi, I.. am Daisy.

Daisy's kart flied at Leia, disarming her. At the edge of the building, the kart entered the air, activating its glider. Leia panicked, but thought of an idea.

Leia: If I can just...

Leia grabbed the steering wheel, spinning the kart so she can enter. Daisy stared her down. Leia accelerated towards Daisy. Daisy aimed and threw a baseball at her glider, causing Leia to move at higher speeds, plummeting down in the direction of Daisy. daisy began to float towards it, channeling her flower power into her foot. Slamming down further on the accelerator, Leia hoped she could win the clash when she crashed into the overconfident Daisy. The screen shows a split-screen of them both preparing for the final clash. Daisy winds up a kick and fires it right into the bumper of the kart, which is moving at top speed. A giant flower-shaped explosion engulfs both of them. Smoke replaces that, as Daisy is shown flying back downward. Daisy is lying down on the rooftop as specs of ash fall around her, some on her face.

Daisy: Oh yeah! That was fun!

The screen zooms out, revealing more heaps of ash falling all around Daisy.

Conclusion[]

KO!

Boomstick: Did she just disintegrate? That's awesome!

Wiz: There's no need to sugarcoat it, this fight just... wasn't close.

Boomstick: Slapping Bowser across the horizon beat out anything Leia did by far. Same in speed with the black hole feat.

Wiz: Though it is reasonable that the force could allow Leia to react faster than Daisy.

Boomstick: But that doesn't matter because with things like the Bubble Flower, Daisy could instantly take Leia out of the battle.

Wiz: Leia was certainly a more skilled fighter and that's helped by Daisy tending to become overconfident but she wasn't skilled in the force, meaning she had no real way to properly take down Daisy without brute force, and that has already been established as impossible.

Boomstick: Leia had some advantages but there was no preventing this was the end of her days-y.

Wiz: The winner is Princess Daisy.
