JoJo's Bizarre Adventure VS Mortal Kombat! Which one of these knife-throwing fighters who sacrificed their humanity to gain huge power with stories of betrayal and ambition would win in a fight? Both characters will be in a composited state, excluding DIO's EOH and JORGE JOESTAR incarnations.
Introduction[]
ROB: Ice has been a living staple, sometimes for characters who betray friends for a sake of power.
Game and Watch: Actual examples are characters such as DIO, the stand user of The World!
ROB: And Frost, the cold, ambitious, and robotic woman of Mortal Kombat, and we'll be researching about both to find out who would win a DEATH BATTLE.
DIO[]
Que: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven - DIO Battle BGM
ROB: DIO, formerly Dio Brando, was a son of a thief of the name Dario Brando, who, after attempting to steal from George Joestar as his wife died from a carriage collapse. Living in London in the 19th century was really tough, you know? So, obviously, while trying to steal, George Joestar assumed the thief saved his life, allowing him to get anything in thanks for saving him.
Game and Watch: What did he do? Get alcohol? No. Despite being an alcoholic, he used it, after being poisoned by Dio Brando, obviously, Dio was sent to George's house with a note saying "adopt my son, please". Obviously, it worked, and Dio now became a large nuisance to Jonathan, even killing his dog! Damn, that was really rude and an asshole move, huh.
You thought it was Jonathan who was going to be your first kiss...
ROB: But, Dio was retaliated by Jonathan after he found a love, which Dio kissed. Because if you thought it was Jonathan... It was I, Dio!
Game and Watch: Despite.... This, he pissed off Jonathan, who beat him into a pulp, before Dio realized something, which was the Stone Mask. Dio assumed it was a death trap, as he planned a way to kill George and Jonathan. Obviously, he'd then find out that, instead of it being a trap, it made people into vampires! Obviously, DIO uses this newfound mask to, instead of assassinate Jonathan with the mask, he'd poison George the same way he did with his dad, and used the mask after his plot was figured out, easily.

ROB: Anyways, this newfound power allowed him to become a vampire, becoming one of the strongest, ever!
Game and Watch: To emphasize on this, there has only been one race shown to be over vampires, specifically the Pillarmen. Other than that, Hamon is usually to combat vampires and zombies, but doesn't have a species advantage due to them just being humans. Pillarmen though... are a different story. But, let's get to listing DIO's abilities as a vampire.
- Inhuman Strength: Dio could climb up pillars with his feet and break through walls of the Joestar Mansion with no harm.
- Inhuman Speed: Could scale to Jonathan who can dodge his SRSE and should scale to Antonio Zeppeli. Is also compared to a cheetah by Speedwagon.
- Enhanced Sense: Dio seems to have multiple things above humans, likely a sense of smell and hearing.
- Bloodsucking: Unlike usual vampires in stories and fanfiction, vampires like Dio suck blood through tentacles in his fingers which allows faster regeneration.
- Regeneration: Can regenerate his body faster than fire can consume it and can still live while having no body and only a head, although this could be an immortality.
- Immortality: Due to being dead, Dio has an immortality that allows him to *technically* not die.
- Space Ripper Stingy Eyes: Fires pressurized liquids out of his eyes, which can easily tear through skin and is fast enough to travel to if not past clouds.
- Vaporizing Freeze Technique: By lowering the temperature of his own body drastically, Dio can freeze people and bypass their durability as well as energy such as Hamon. It is fast enough to freeze Dire from the neck down in mere seconds, who should be a full-grown man.
- Fusion: Capable of grafting parts of different creatures together to create fusions, having used it to create half-human pets and his head with Jonathan's body.
- Hypnosis: Hypnotized Jack the Ripper and a village boy into doing his bidding.
- Stealth Mastery: Shows the ability to disappear by fading into darkness.
- Healing: Can heal other people's wounds, such as Pucci's.
ROB: But that's not where it stops. Dio, after he decapitates Jonathan and takes over his body, he lives in a coffin under the sea for one hundred years! Despite this, he didn't kill Erina, for some reason, which allowed this long complicated story to happen which, well, lead up to Stardust Crusaders, where he awakens, and makes an entire fucking league to kill Jotaro Kujo, some random delinquet who got a stand the same as The World.
Game and Watch: But, the World's ability is stopping time. It can stop time, likely within a range, for 5+ seconds! To compensate, it's got a C in range and a B, but has an A in durability and power, for some reason.
ROB: Well, yeah, despite it being very strong and overpowered, DIO is very... calm, for how strong it is. He can think of a strategy and such in seconds, but that ends with The Greatest High.
THIS IS THE GREATEST HIGH!
Game and Watch: Well, DIO isn't mentally stable while he contains the blood of Joseph Joestar, despite it upgrading his time stop to 9 seconds and allowing him to lift a roadroller, this is his main weakness and why he lost to Jotaro.
ROB: Overall, DIO is not a mentally stable opponent when he's overhyped with energy, but otherwise is very intelligent and can outsmart the opposing easily.
Frost[]
Que: Polar Vortex (Original Frost Theme) Game and Watch: Cold is a, well, cool element, but Frost, well, uses it in a cool way.
ROB: Despite what she seems, the cyborg might look cool, but is truly hot. In a rude way-
Game and Watch: Damn, ROB, you like her that way? I know she's a cyborg but you're a robot.
ROB: I didn't mean that, god. Anyways, Frost is a villain, specifically the apprentice-of-Sub-Zero-later-betraying-him type. She's just power-hungry.
Game and Watch: She probably starved as a kid. I mean, she was an orphan, for crying out loud. She was exiled from the Lin Kuei, and even lead an army of cyborgs, like hot damn, she's badass.
ROB: But she's more than just that, she could even fight Sub-Zero, who can freeze way lower than below zero, and has a record of zero losses and 34 wins.
Popup: She actually has a record of 13 flawless victories, which was fights she won without taking harm.
Game and Watch: But the true thing is her powers. She can create many ice weaponry and has some great skill, like beating several Lui Kuei ninjas and can create ice grenades.
ROB: Other than that, she can create ice scythes, knives, drills, projectiles, walls, and swords. She can even freeze herself with ice, although it might be negative.
Game and Watch: She can fire a chest beam, fire her head like a mortar which, yes, explodes, create ice skates, rotate her entire body, can fly, and has a shield for safety.
ROB: In fact, her strongest attacks usually freeze her opponents completely solid, where she can one-shot them, explode them into puddles of ice, and her beam can freeze opponents solid, which allows her to rip out spines while destroying them completely.
Game and Watch: She could even fight Raiden and Scorpion, both of which can casually create thunderstorms, which would have to make them output energy equivalent to that of 14 megatons at best! Even at that, she could even dominate a Cassie Cage even without her cyborg power.
ROB: This makes Frost a very strong opponent, even with her superior potency and strength. But without that, she's still not the smartest person ever and could likely lose to anything she can't freeze.
Fight[]
DIO watches over a mountain he'd previously climb, the challenge being nothing for the power of his stand. He'd mutter under his breath as he'd withdraw knives. As he did, he'd feel icicles pierce his back, as he'd kneel, as he cursed quietly. He'd look over, his eyes glowing as Frost stood there, pointing at him.
`` Who are you? `` She says, looking intently at the unknown face, ice forming in her hand. `` You thought it was an enemy... `` DIO spoke calmly as he got up.
`` BUT IT WAS I, DIO! `` He screeched, grabbing Frost, heaving her over his back, as they fell down the cliff to the path of snow below.
Fight![]
Que: Sonic and the Black Knight - With Me
As they fell, Frost, in an enraged state, drilled into DIO, who screeched. `` WRRRRRYYYYYY! `` He spoke, kicking Frost, before his Stand was summoned. As he fell, he grabbed Frost once again, who'd counter, freezing DIO, who directly followed with a punch from his The World.
`` Hmph... `` Frost was unphased by the hit, although confused on what hit her. As she thought for a moment, DIO's foot would directly hit her face as he jumped upwards using his The World, as Frost was thrown into the snow. DIO glided above, spotting a small village, smirking.
Frost would create a slide for her to slide over, as a large beam hit DIO, immediately freezing his body. Frost walked over, shaking her head, as she fired ice knives. `` THE WORLD! `` was heard, as the plane turned gray, with DIO getting up, as he broke from the ice, and knocking away the weak ice projectiles.
He'd raised a few knives over his head. `` Muda, muda, muda, muda, muda... `` He threw the knives, at a fast speed, as it split into multiple. `` MUDA! `` As he spoke this, he allowed time to resume, as Frost was then thrown back, DIO shaking his head, staring at her.
As she saw DIO attempting to blitz her, she'd put up her shield, which, unironically, seemed useless. `` It's USELESS! `` DIO stated, his stand going right through the shield and knocking Frost back, who'd fly into the air using boosters. As she did, she'd create a blade of ice, slashing through DIO, cutting in him half.
Que: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Dark Rebirth
DIO smirked, sliding his now-half cut body back into it's previous position, as he began to laugh. He'd immediately blitz Frost, as he grabbed her head, with it slowly being crushed, just due to her body being slowly crushed by the power of The World, who'd then begin pummeling Frost.
Frost, now angered, began flying into the air, and while having no defense against The World, would fire her beam again, freezing DIO, as she punched his head cleanly off. This caused the head to land, as she flew over, and grabbed it, aiming her head towards it, and firing it at the head.
`` WRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! `` is what Frost heard, as her head was thrown, as veins began to control her body. DIO took control of the body, as the World grabbed the head of Frost. `` Too slow, too slow. `` He spoke. `` The World! `` He stated, stopping time, reducing the colors, as he rushed over, denting the head with one swift hit, as he then phased immediately through it, destroying the brain of Frost, as he introduced multiple knives into the mix.
DIO began to walk away while controlling Frost's body, as he muttered. `` And time resumes again. ``, with the grayscale reversing.
Frost's head explodes, as the only true remnant left being her eyeball, which lands directly into DIO's hand.
K.O![]
DIO is seen gone, his presence gone entirely, as the only other piece left of Frost, her other eyeball, is seen landing onto her sword, piercing it.
Post-Analysis[]
Que: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven - Heaven Ascension DIO Battle BGM
ROB: Well, damn, that's another loss for Frost.
Game and Watch: Well, yeah. The only thing Frost had going was her arsenal and strength, both of which being things DIO could counter.
ROB: Frost couldn't see The World due to lacking any way to harm abstracts and such, and was terribly blitzed, as she only scaled to Raiden, a Hypersonic+, whereas DIO was an MFTL.
Game and Watch: Also, Frost having better durability was easily outclassed not only by DIO's regeneration and speed, but DIO's phasing. The World should not only scale and have the same abilities of Star Platinum, we know Star Platinum's phasing is more than just creating pulses, like when he deflected knives by phasing through Jotaro, and Jotaro could do this even when he just got his stand.
ROB: So, DIO should be able to bypass Frost's durability, and he could likely take over her body.
Popup: DIO could decapitate people whilst as a head, so it would make sense if he could directly pull off Frost's head. He could also likely control Frost's body, and leave Frost vulnerable as a head.
Game and Watch: DIO also had his time stop, which would make his chances of bypassing Frost's abilities, rendering her vulnerable, or outright destroying her entire body with phasing made this fight very unfair.
ROB: I guess Frost was the one really frozen in time.
Game and Watch: The winner is DIO.
