D'Vorah Vs Krypt King is a What-If? Death Battle between D'Vorah from Mortal Kombat and Krypt King from Skylanders.Template:Battle Template

Description[]

D'Vorah Vs Krypt King is a fight between two bug filled opponents. Which will be superior? The Mother of many insects, or the suit of many diseases?

Intro[]

Skel: As we have said many times before, bugs are gross...

Skunk: Sometimes when put in the right hands, or thing they can be weapons of mass death.

Skel: D'Vorah, Mortal Kombat's Mother Maggot.

Skunk: And Krypt King, Undead Sword Wielding Trap Master from the Skylanders.

Skel: He's Skunk and I'm Skel!

Skunk: And it's our job to research their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win, a Death Battle!

D'Vorah Bugs Us All In Death Battle![]

Skunk: Shao Kahn, was the ruler of Outworld, and when his thirst for power, he attempted something nobody should do.

Skel: He tried breaking the rules of Mortal Kombat, attempting to merge the realms without winning the tournament against Earth.

Skunk: This resulted in his death, and this allowed a new threat to finally emerge, Shinnok.

Skel: But we already went over him, so we are going over one of his accomplices, D'Vorah.

Skunk: She was assigned to be Kotal Kahn's helper, but she had betrayed him, taking Shinnok's Amulet that he was imprisoned in, and bringing it to Quan Chi, which allowed Shinnok to return.

Skel: This did come at a cost of Quan Chi's life, but, who the hell cared about that dude anyways?

Skunk: Eh, I actually agree, not many liked him really. Anyways, Shinnok got D'Vorah to take Johnny with them to the Sky Temple.

Skel: That doesn't make sense to me, since he could just kill Johnny right then and there.

Skunk: Story reasons Skel, Story reasons...

Skel: Plot Armour more like...

Skunk: While this didn't sit well with any of the heroes, they did get through, beating D'Vorah and Shinnok.

Skel: But that was just the first appearance. D'Vorah comes back in the 11th game.

Skunk: She became a servant of Kronika, and was protected by her, much to the rage of Shao Kahn, and Mileena fans...

Skel: She killed one of the best characters!

Skunk: We really don't want to drag this on for too long, so let us get to her powers.

D'Vorah's Powers[]

  • Bug Creation
    • Can summon many different bugs
      • Explosive Maggots
      • Fire Flies
  • Poison Manipulation
    • Can poison people through various methods
      • Spikes can inject poison
      • Can vomit poison liquids
  • Wings
    • Allows her to grow bug wings to fly
  • Weapon Creation
    • Spiked Spider like legs

Skel: She has the ability to make her "children" attack and explode on enemies, even going as far as producing massive maggots from her belly.

Skunk: She can use large spider like limbs that grow out her back and impale people, even injecting poison into them.

Skel: She has wings to fly around like a, well... bug... also letting her look creepy as hell in addition...

Skunk: She also has the ability to release strange liquids, poisoning people it touches.

Skel: She has done... horribly impressive stuff...

D'Vorah's Feats[]

  • Killed Mileena
  • Killed Hanzo (Scorpion's Human Form)
  • Killed Baraka
  • Can create an unlimited amount of her bugs
  • Can tear the skin off people with her spider limbs
  • Her swarm can make holes in people easily
  • Her goo can restrain people with ease

Skunk: She has killed everyone's most beloved characters, including Ha-

Skel: I want her to die badly! She killed Hanzo and Mileena!

Skunk: Skel, clam down... she can make a practically unlimited amount of bugs, have her bugs tear through a person easily, and can tear people apart with her spider limbs.

Skel: Yeah, yeah, but she like has many weaknesses!

D'Vorah's Flaws[]

  • Some attacks are really slow
  • Has been beaten by relatively weak characters
  • Had to sneak up on Hanzo to kill him
  • Mileena was restrained while D'Vorah killed her

Skunk: Yeah, ok, she did have to sneak behind Hanzo to kill him, and also had to get Mileena while she was being restrained, making the kills really easy.

Skel: Not to mention most of her attacks are rather slow and rely on the opponent being far away, meaning a melee opponent could deal with her pretty easy, and she has been beaten by pretty weak characters, like Cassie Cage.

Skunk: She is certainly a traitor we all really dislike, and are hellbent on her death, but still, you must admit, she is impressive for a bug lady...

D'Vorah is shown killing Mileena

Krypt King Has The Edge In Death Battle![]

Skel: The undead are my favourite types of dead, because I love how they are so weird and creepy.

Skunk: Just like you are, right?

Skel: You know, that's actually one thing I will agree with you on, I am kinda creepy and weird.

Skunk: Oh, ok, well when an undead warrior is made, it isn't always on purpose, or for evil, sometimes it was an accident, and they decide to use their powers for good.

Skel: Meet Krypt King, he was just a wandering spirit of a knight, till one day he went into an Arkeyan Weapon Vault.

Skunk: This Vault contained various, well, weapons of the Arkeyans, including a powerful suit of armour, which Krypt King had decided to inhabit and use as his own.

Skel: Turns out it had a defense system linked to it, releasing a large army of war machines. The only thing Krypt King could think of? Charge into them and swing his new sword at them, decimating every last one!

Skunk: When he realized the power he held in this suit, he thought it could serve a broader purpose, and the set out to find the Skylanders, and after he did, was deemed one of the Trap Masters by Master Eon, using his large traptanium blade to slice up evil.

Skel: He was granted awesome powers to use against his foes, he used them to their fullest potential.

Krypt King's Powers & Equipment[]

Equipment[]

  • Traptanium Sword
    • Can preform combos with it
    • If it deals a critical hit, it rains down swords
    • Can control it and make it float around
  • Arkeyan Armour
    • When defeating an enemy, he gains extra armour

Powers[]

  • Swarm Control
    • Can control a swarm from inside himself
    • Gets healed when they expire
    • Can be charged up to make the swarm larger
    • Seek out foes themselves
  • Stat Buffing
    • Deals more damage after beating an enemy
  • De-buffing
    • Slows foes hit by his sword when it is floating
    • Stuns foes hit by his swarm
  • Super Strength
  • Super Durability
  • Super Speed
  • Direct Buff
    • Deals more damage against villains

Skunk: His armour is powerful, and gets more powerful when beating an enemy, as well as his sword increasing in power as well.

Skel: He can use the swarm inside himself to stun foes, not even needing to aim, letting them go after the enemy themselves. He can even charge them up to make them bigger, not to mention they heal him when they are done.

Skunk: He can make his Traptanium Sword fly around, slowing anybody hit by it, as well as being able to deal extra damage against anybody who is a villain.

Skel: He also, like pretty much every Skylander, has increased durability, strength and speed, taking on the toughest foes, like Golden Queen, Wolfgang and even Kaos.

Skunk: His achievements show how powerful he really is, and being a Trap Master, just how superior he is to the others too.

Krypt King's Feats[]

  • Fought his way through an army of war robots
  • Can face the Doom Raiders
    • The Doom Raiders survived Cloud Craker Prison exploding while they were inside it
  • Can face Kaos in a ultra powerful traptanium form
  • Can fight villains that can boil oceans
  • Became a Trap Master
  • Defended Skylands various times

Skel: He can fight the Doom Raiders, who survived their traptanium prison exploding, and some of which can boil oceans.

Skunk: Being a Trap Master, he should be more powerful than the original Skylanders, who survived things like the Core of Light blowing up, and some of which are able to survive volcanic eruptions.

Skel: We also mentioned before that he fought his way through a whole army of war machines, A WHOLE ARMY! That isn't exactly just 100, it could be over like 1,000 or more, and I am probably wrong about that too!

Skunk: He is certainly not one to be taken lightly, but his training and power isn't exactly what we would call "perfect" given his reliance on his allies.

Krypt King's Flaws[]

  • Needs help defending Skylands
  • Still can be beaten with enough damage
  • Anything effective against undead beings will do more harm to him
  • His damage buff against Villains only works on them

Skel: His damage boost only works against a villain, meaning any hero fighting him will take normal damage, leaving Krypt King with lower damage output.

Skunk: He is still like any other Skylander, able to be taken out through enough damage, and he does need help from his team. And as he is part of the undead element, he also is likely weak to attacks that are effective against that element.

Skel: Though his training as a knight and willpower to keep going and save Skylands will make sure he always has the advantage, or, as he says.

Krypt King: I've got the Edge!

Intermission[]

Skunk: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all!

Skel: It's time for a Death Battle!!!

Fight[]

Location: Kytin's Hive

D'Vorah is seen in her hive, looking at the eggs.

D'Vorah: Soon my children, we will yet again betray someone else, like we did 2 previous times, because we are all super evil.

A rumble is heard, as D'Vorah looks around in confusion. Rocks start falling down, and a hole collapses in, making a big dust cloud. D'Vorah looks at the dust, and out of it comes Krypt King, wielding his large sword.

Krypt King: What is this I hear about betraying?

D'Vorah: What do you want, foul dark knight?

Krypt King: Your evil days are over, I'm going to take you out!

D'Vorah grows her spider limbs out her back, while Krypt King gets into a stance with his sword.

Fight!!!

D'Vorah flies forward and swings her spiked legs, hitting Krypt King several times, making him stumble back. Krypt King falls down onto his butt, and sits up, looking around. D'Vorah is coming around to hit him again, but this time Krypt King slices off the spider limbs, then catches D'Vorah's leg while she flies by, swinging her into the ground.

Krypt King: This is no way to treat a king!

Krypt King then tosses D'Vorah up, and clutches his sword with both his hands, making it glow. Krypt King slams his sword into D'Vorah, sending her flying into a large pile of her eggs. D'Vorah rises from them and they hatch.

D'Vorah: Feed my children!

Krypt King sees all of the bugs awakening and rushing at him, but he is unphased by such a minor threat, and he lets out his own swarm, having both of them fight it out. Krypt King lets the bugs fight, as he rushes through them, cutting up ones in his way with his large sword. D'Vorah angrily flies towards him, growing another spider limb.

D'Vorah: Your heroic deeds end here!

Krypt King swings his sword, while D'Vorah swings her spider legs into it, and a bright flash happens, with an explosion heard. The outside is shown, and both Krypt King and D'Vorah are shown flying out the hive, and landing on a rocky mountain. Krypt King yanks his sword from the rocks beside him, and twirls it around.

Krypt King: You are nothing to a Trap Master!

D'Vorah shoots her sticky goo at Krypt King, and it hits his sword, sticking it to the rocky wall beside him. Krypt King looks back, and while distracted, D'Vorah slams her feet at Krypt King, sending him into the ground. D'Vorah looks down into the hole Krypt King went in, but he isn't anywhere to be seen.

D'Vorah: Where did he...

Suddenly. Krypt King smashes through the mountain wall, and retrieves his sword. D'Vorah is caught off guard, and gets her side cut, spilling some of her blue blood. Krypt King then makes his sword float towards D'Vorah. D'Vorah attempts to block it, but her torso gets cut up.

Krypt King: Your tricks can't work on me!

D'Vorah then flies up and shoots webs at Krypt King, restraining his arms. D'Vorah lands in front of Krypt King, and grabs his arms.

D'Vorah: Your death has arrived.

Krypt King: Oh, I'll show you how wrong you are!

Krypt King then opens his front up, and his swarm attacks D'Vorah, making her stumble around as she swats at the bugs. Krypt King breaks out of the webs, and his sword flies back to his hands. When D'Vorah finally gets the bugs away, they return to Krypt King, healing him. D'Vorah looks over and is too slow to react, and gets cut by Krypt King's sword right across her chest, leaving a large blue blood splat.

Krypt King: This is the end for you!

Krypt King takes out a life trap, and uses it on D'Vorah. She tries to get away, but is sucked in.

D'Vorah: Hey, what's going on?! Where am I?! What have you do-!

Krypt King "accidentally" drops the trap, which shatters, killing D'Vorah inside it.

Krypt King: Oh, well, guess I just won't say this happened... better get back to Master Eon.

K.O!

Conclusion[]

Skel: Yes, yes! He did it! But, how?

Skunk: This fight was certainly full of different arguments, given just how overwhelming each combatant's powers were, but even so, Krypt King just took everything and then some more.

Skel: First of all, Krypt King was way superior in skill, having beaten a whole army of war robots, and that was just the moment he got into the armour. He can take on the likes of the Doom Raiders and various other villains, one of which boiled a whole ocean!

Skunk: Krypt King's sword was a big ace in the hole, as he could use it to easily harm D'Vorah, not to mention Traptanium weapons deal extra damage to Villains, and D'Vorah certainly fits the bill of being a Villain. He could even kill some of her children to power himself up, meaning D'Vorah using her kids against him was a bad idea, as it would just power him up more.

Skel: Krypt King has also faced much more powerful foes, like Golden Queen, Wolfgang and Kaos while he was in a super traptanium form.

Skunk: Overall, D'Vorah's versatility could keep her in the fight for a bit, but Krypt King held every advantage against her, meaning literally, Krypt King had the edge.

Skel: Guess D'Vorah's hopes of escaping that trap, were shattered.

Skunk: The Winner is Krypt King!

Trivia[]
