Description[]
They are both two robotic characters who started off working for evil masters or organizations until they were freed from control and now fight against their enslavers. The brawn and guns of Team Dark, E-123 Omega faces the cyborg ninja of the Lin Kuei, Cyrax.This is the Eleventh episode of the Third season of Dandyclaw's Death Battle.
Interlude[]
Boomstick: Who doesn't like robots? And who doesn't like cyborgs? And before anyone answers, the answer to both is nobody, because they are AWESOME AS HELL.
Wiz: And today we have a battle between two of the deadliest metallic minions out there.
Boomstick: E-123 Omega, Dr. Eggman's deadly defective Botnix!
Wiz: And Cyrax, Mortal Kombat's ninja cyborg.
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.
Cyrax is Upgraded to Compete in Death Battle[]
Wiz: Hailing from the African country of Botswana, the ninja warrior know as Cyrax was taken from his birth place at a young age by the Lin Kuei ninja clan.
o Boomstick: Yeah because the Lin Kuei get off on the whole “kidnap children and raise them to be their own personal army” thing. Training alongside Sektor, the second-in-command and son of the Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei, Cyrax grew to become a highly skilled and formidable assassin of the Lin Kuei. Okay, Who, names their kids Cyrax and Sektor?! It's like, the day his child was born, he's like, "I'm going to give you this cool cyber name, just in case I ever pull off my CRAZY AS SHIT plan to turn everyone I know into robots."
o Wiz: Boomstick, TMI.
o Boomstick: Oh sorry, I jumped ahead too far, please continue.
o Wiz: Well respected and reputed by his peers, Cyrax was a loyal member of the Lin Kuei, considering them his family, and he would have done anything they asked of him without hesitation. But that all change with the announcement of the Cyber Initiative.
o Boomstick: After the first Mortal Kombat tournament, the Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei believed his warriors couldn’t compete with the likes of monsters and gods more powerful than the Lin Kuei's human masses. So, he hired the finest scientist from all over Earthrelm and ordered all the Lin Kuei warriors undertake experiments to become cybernetic warriors, in an attempt to convert all of its members into unfeeling, cold-hearted, cybernetic assassins, thereby improving their performance and circumventing any possibility of disobedience
o Wiz: Horrified by this discovery, Cyrax was the first of few Lin Kuei members to speak against the Cyber Initiative, believing that this procedure would take away their souls and humanity. Unlike his partner Sektor, who didn’t hesitate to be the first to sign up for the experiment, thinking that these upgrades would improve his frail and weak human body.
o Boomstick: Despite his objections, Cyrax was forced to become a cyborg against his own will, serving as a threat to the defenders of Earthrealm. Wiz just know this, if you ever do this me, I will haunt you for the rest of your life.
o Wiz: Wh-What are you talking about? I would never do that.
o Boomstick: Always watching, Wiz. Always.
o Wiz: The surgery for the experiment was long and painful, and training to master his new body was hardcore and brutal. But in the end, the human Cyrax used to be was gone forever, and now stood the cyborg warrior in his place.
o Boomstick: Cyrax was now designated as unit LK-4D4 and, like his counterparts, was assigned to hunt down the renegade former Lin Kuei member Sub-Zero. Fortunately, he recovered his human soul in the original timeline with the help of Sonya Blade and Jax Briggs, and allied with them from that point onward as hero for Earthrelm.
o Wiz: Cyrax was already an unrivaled assassin, and master of ninjitsu, sambo, and kenpo.
o Boomstick: As a cyborg, he's all that, plus extra armor and a never-ending supply of missiles.
o Wiz: As a cybernetic ninja, Cyrax is well-equipped, both in martial arts involving ninjutsu and weaponry. He houses a number of weapons in his chest cavity designed for both incapacitating and destroying targets. He also as rocket built into his feet and palms to grant him flight or make his kicks and punches extra painful.
o Boomstick: Of the three cyborg ninjas, Cyrax is most associated with bombardment, his arsenal is packed to the core with a seemingly unlimited supply of timed explosives. He also has access to an 'energy net' capable of incapacitating his targets completely.
o Wiz: Cyrax is equipped with a portable device that would allow him to freely teleport across the realms without the need of stationary portals. In addition, his armor is heat-resistant, as he was able to completely submerge himself in molten rock without severely damaging himself in the process.
o Boomstick: He can also replace his arms with buzzsaw-like appendage, using them for Slicing and Dicing up his opponents for mid-range combat. He can throw combatants as large as Jax and Scorpion over his shoulder and send them flying with one powerful punch.
o Wiz: To close a kill, Cyrax finishes foes with a brutal fatality, like the Super Bomb, Buzz Kill, or the Self-Destruct, where he activates a timed self-destruct mechanism, killing both himself and his opponent.
o Boomstick: He’s defeated Reptile, Sheeva, Baraka, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade and Jax Briggs in combat as a cyborg, and kicked Sektor’s ass multiple times as a human
o Wiz: In one alteration, he and Sektor were assigned to hunt down Scorpion and Sub-Zero and use his tentacle like fingers to apparently upload the Cyber Initiative into their brains, which is pretty creepy if you ask me.
o Boomstick: But despite all his fancy upgrades, all Cyrax longed for was his human body and soul freed revived instead of his current machine prison.
o Wiz: In MK11, due to the Timequake caused by Kronika, Cyrax returned as a mind-controlled machine once more, working alongside Frost and Sektor to convert more Lin Kuei members from Sub-Zero's temple into machines.
o Boomstick: While he, Sektor, Noob Saibot and Frost are defeated by Scorpion and Sub-Zero, who were not BNFF (Best Ninja Friends Forever), only Cyrax was spared, free from his programming. o Wiz: Horrified to have become the machine he never wanted to be, Cyrax agreed to help Sub Zero and Scorpion shut down the Cyber Lin Kuei factory, at the cost of his own life, but not before Sub Zero promised to bring him back as a human.
o Boomstick: (crying) What an epic way to go out. If he was going to die, he was going to die a man, not a machine.
o Wiz: However, Cyrax’s transformation was not perfect. While his cybernetics enhanced his body, they had a different effect on his mind. He slowly became to slip into depression, as he observed the actions competed before him, without being able to control his own body.
o Boomstick: Not mention, his robot limbs have been blasted to pieces, ripped apart and reduced to nothing in battle countless time. Although he can reattach his limbs to his body if the come off, this isn’t true if the damage is too serious.
o Wiz: Though Cyrax may have lost his human body, in his heart will always remain the soul of an honorable warrior dedicated to his clan and a just cause.
o Boomstick: MORTAL KOMBAAAAT! (Hums theme)
o Cyrax: Resistance will be met with extreme force.
E-123 Omega is programmed to destroy Death Battle[]
o Wiz: Ever since their first appearance in 1991, the heroic Sonic the hedgehog and the evil Doctor Eggman have been playing the same game of Cat and Mouse for decades through many recreations.
o Boomstick: Sonic plays the noble mouse, speeding his way across the countryside protecting the world from danger, one chilli dog at a time. While Eggman is the wicked Cat, constantly scheming plans of world domination and sending his robot minions to take Sonic and his friends down once and for all. Kind of like Tom and Jerry.
o Wiz: But no matter how many Badniks Eggman would send his way, Sonic and his allies would always find a way to reduce them to nothing but a pile of rubble in the end. So, he decided to kick things up a notch by designing the E-100 Series, a series of powerful Badniks with advanced weaponry whose soul purposes were to be all-purpose weapons of war capable of destroying the strongest beings on the planet.
o Boomstick: Which is what he said about the same other Badnik creations he made several times before these one. And as expected, Sonic and his friends trashed these bots to bits and sent them crawling to the robo-hospital, or better yet the junkyard.
o Dummies: THOSE POOR MACHINES, WHAT DI THEY DO TO DESERVE GETTING DESTOYED BY THE BLUE BLUR.
o Boomstick: However, after suffering a terrible loss in his robot army, Eggman ordered the line to be discontinued and all production for further creations halted, its last model being E-123 Omega.
o Wiz: After the failure of the other E series, Eggman decided to shut down the project and he was deactivated and sealed in an abandoned base to guard the genetically modified clone of Sonic, Shadow the Hedgehog, who was in suspended animation in a stasis capsule.
o Boomstick: Pretty Pissed off for having his power wasted for being a simple guard dog instead of an attack dog, Omega swore that he would blast his creator to kingdom come for his betrayal.
o Wiz: Fortunately for Omega, he was freed by Rouge the Bat who accidentally reactivated him when trying to free Shadow and she soon convinced the two of them to join forces together to form the enforcer unit, Team Dark to track down their mutual enemy, Dr. Eggman.
o Boomstick: Although Omega failed to achieve his ultimate goal to murder Eggman, he has continued to pursue his mission alongside Shadow and Rogue, occasionally coming to the aid of Sonic and other heroes.
o Wiz: Being an elite combat robot with high fighting capabilities, Omega is the most powerful and impressive robot in Dr. Eggman's E-Series, and has even been called one of the world's most powerful robot.
o Boomstick: Outfitted as a battle robot, Omega possesses a number of beautiful weapons that he conceals in his arms which he can switch at will by reconfiguring his forearms or hands.
o Wiz: Some of these ordnances include rapid-fire rotary cannons and missile launchers. Together, these weapons pack enough power to destroy a 50-foot mecha the in one blast.
o Boomstick: And did I mention guns, guns and more guns?! Get a look at that! Machine guns, homing missle guns, laser guns, flamethrowers, the works!
o Wiz: Oemga also possess super human strength, able to destroy large stone blocks and thick doors with just his fists. Omega possesses enough physical strength to throw around Zombots like they were ragdolls.
o Boomstick: He’s got Jet boosters on his back to help him fly or propel himself forward at high speeds. But with those boosters, he’s a slowpoke when it come to walking and running, at least compared to speeders like Shadow and Sonic
o Wiz: His armor is both strong and bulletbroof, not to forget Waterproof and resistance to certain poisons, psychic manipulation and certain electrical currents. His metallic body is also quite durable, but by no means invulnerable, and he is constantly being repaired by Tails after extreme battles.
o Boomstick: With all this heat he’s packing, Omega proved to be a value ally to Shadow and Rogue on their journey to track down and end Eggman’s miserable existence. But this hard-hitting robot is more than just guns.
o Wiz: He is also equipped with scanners to examine machinery and living beings and sensors to locate enemies, life forms and certain objects, such things as the Metal Virus and its rate of infection.
o Boomstick: Boring, let’s get back to the good stuff. This Bad Bot is able to chew through Eggman's other less robots with ease, make him regret shutting these guys down in the first place. He single-handedly held back an army of Zombots while protecting survivors to allow them to escape.
o Wiz: After being repaired, the Omega and fellow robot rebel Gemerl engaged in a sparring match where Omega found Gemerl weak, thinking his affinity for Cream's family turned him soft, with Gemerl losing his edge.
o Boomstick: The last thing anyone wants to do is to come between Gemerl and Creams family, or face this robot’s wrath. During the battle, filled with a lot of missiles and punches, Omega invited Gemerl to join him in his quest to destroy Eggman's forces and restore his honor as a battle robot.
o Wiz: Gemerl would ultimately reject this proposal, as he was created to evolve unlike Omega's purpose for destruction, and that his past objectives didn’t define who he is in the present, and that was to protect Cream and her mother. After their battle, both robots would end up heavily damaged and in need of repairing. Omega would acknowledge Gemerl's current purpose and respect his destructive power, even if he still found himself superior to him.
o Boomstick: Robo-Bromance, cool.
o Wiz: He’s able to keep up with Shadow's speed with his jet boosters and can scan his enemies to gather information them to locate their strengths and weakness.
o Boomstick: He even caused extensive damage to Eggman's abandoned base with only a few seconds worth of gunfire. You go you beautiful piece of machinery.
o Wiz: Despite possessing a highly destructive arsenal, Omega carries a limited amount of ammunition within him. He’s also not much of a strategist, either relying on Shadow or Rogue to come up with the plan of attack, or just following his primary plan: Attack.
o Boomstick: He has been ripped apart by a swarm of Zombots, reducing him to nothing but his head, and took serious damage during his fight with Gemerl. They’d both would be heading to the scrapyard if not for the inventive genius of Tails.
o Wiz: Not to mention when he was captured by Eggman after the end of the Metal Virus crisis, he hardwired Omega into his Giga Omega mech as its core, which he used to attack Spiral Hill Village with.
o Boomstick: Seriously the dude couldn’t wait until after the party, I guess there really is no rest for the wicked. Eventually though, Sonic arrived and released Omega, who unleashed all his ammunition and destroyed Giga Omega before falling partially apart. With only his head remain, Rogue, Amy, and Cream had to go to great lengths to find the necessary part to repair him, since Eggman man tech was hard to come by, at least legally.
o Wiz: But one thing remains certain, Omega is a warlike and direct robot driven by a single-minded, revenge-based desire to hunt down and destroy Dr. Eggman or any robots created by him.
o Boomstick: Look out Eggman, Omega is coming for you, and you’d better say your prays because the last thing Omega will show him or any off his opponents is mercy.
o Omega: Destroy all Eggman robots! Nature and origin are irrelevant!
Pre-Fight:[]
Wiz: all right the combatants are set, lets end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fight:[]
Inside the recently reactivated Cyber Lin Kuei factory, Team Dark (consisting of Shadow, Rouge, and E-123 Omega) blast through the door after defeating the Cyber Lin-Kuei guarding the entrance.
Shadow: Already everyone, we have our orders, so lets get this mission done with. Rogue, you locate and destroy all the Blueprints for this factory, I'll find the person responsible for making these machines and make them pay, and Omega, you destroy as many of these machines as possible before they are activated
Rogue: Sounds like a plan.
E-123 Omega: Orders approved.
As the team parts ways, Omega starts blasting the dormant cyborgs before he is shoot at by an unknown rocket. As the smoke clears, Cyrax appear to confront the robot.
Cyrax: Halt, cease your assault and leave this facility at once
Omega: This facility is forcing creatures into mindless cyborg against their will and must be destroyed.
Cryrax: If you do not leave willingly, you will be removed by force, if necessary.
Omega: Force is always necessary.
Cyrax: So be it then.
Cyrax charges at Omega and starts rapidly punching Omega and knocks him into a wall. Omeg then starts firing bullets from his Arm cannons which hits Cyrax in the chest. Cyrax retaliates by firing several shots from his chest rockets while Omega shoots some lasers to shoot the rocket out of the air. Omega fires a rocket from his hand cannons
Cyrax: I Am more to compare then just my firearms.
Omega: Good, now it will be more interesting.
Omega starts firing his rapid-fire rotary cannon hands, but the cyborg ninja dodges them with ease. Omega slowly walks towards Cyrax, still firing his cannon arms to corner the cyborg ninja and prevent him from escaping. Cyrax then fires a missile from his chest, but Omega shoots it with its gun arms, making it explode. Cyrax then rushes towards the robot, punching him in the head and then moving out of the way to dodge as Omega tries to slash him with his robotic hands. Though he dodge one attack, and is able to land another uppercut to the robot's head, Omega cuts him off guard with a blow to the chest.
Omega then punches up Cyrax with his left hand, using his cannons in his right arm to constantly shoot Cyrax into the air before letting him drop, and turns his right hand into a fist again, punching Cyrax away. Cyrax gets up and fires a green energy net from his chest which ensnares Omega, prevent him from moving.
Cyrax: Target Captured, Proceeding to Terminate.
Cyrax activate his boosters and rockets forward prepares to punch Omega. However, Omega breaks free from his net and catches Cyrax’s fist in his metal hands, and repeatedly bash’s him on the ground before knocking him back against a pile of robot parts and chains.
Omega: Your weaponry is impressive, but mine are better
Cyrax: We Shall See
Cyrax recovered quickly and zooms toawrds his opponent, punching at his opponent's head and hitting him with a dive Kick damaging Omega's plating. However, he was slashed in the arm by a robotic fist and met with an uppercut launched into the air before being slashed again. However the ninja responds by flip kicking Omega in the face, before using his legs in a split position to push the fist of Omega away and teleports behind Omega punching him again numerous times. Omega tries to maintain his balance, but he receives one of Cyrax's rockets to the gut, making him fall to the ground.
Cyrax: Your no pushover but I will defeat you
Omega uses his jets to get back onto his feet, and prepares his Omega Missile in his right arm.
Omega: FIRE!
Six missiles fire at Cyrax, who gets hit by five of them and but uses his teleportation to four of the others. Cyrax then appears on top of a table and catches the last remaining missile and pulls it behind him before throwing it back at Omega. Omega uses his jets to fly over the missile, which explodes behind him, making a hole in the factory that leads outside. He lands back on his feet before he unleashes his Omega Flamethrower, blasting Cyrax with flames. He then gets into the air with his jets and flies out the hole in the wall, but is then perused by Cyrax with his own rocket boosters. The both then unleash their missiles and rockets at each other, witch collide creating a massive explosion
As shots continue to be fired, Cyrax charged straight at at Omega with his buzzsaw blades upfront, slamming into into his opponent. As Cyrax starts cutting into Omega, the robot grabs the cyborg with its arms in a tight grip before he descends down to the ground a the both slam back through the factory walls. Cyrax gets up fired another energy net, which Omega dodges and tries to counter with a punch, only for it to be blocked by the buzz saws again.
Moving his saws out of his own way, Cyrax drop kicks Omega back and then opens his chest to fire another rocket attack at point-blank range. Recognizing the danger, Omega moves his head before the cyborg ninja fires, narrowly avoiding the attack, which flew across the room and damaged the machines it hit. In response, Omega's has a minigun appear from his left arm and aimed at Cyrax. Unlike Omega, Cyrax took some hits to his body before being forced to teleport away from the attack once more and run away. Omega keeps firing at his for his fleeing opponent, but Cyrax kept moving, leaping from one platform to another, avoiding the bullets.
Omega: Stay Still, so I may shoot you
Cyrax: That is a hard no.
Eventually, Omega stop firing since none of his shots landed. He then charges forwards with his jet boosters and headbutts the cyborg as he leaps into the air to escape, knocking them both through the wall. Omega tries to land a punch, but Cyrax holds off the robot's massive arm. Omega, however, then managed to grab and lift up Cyrax and punched him through several crates, causing Cyrax to bleed from the impact of such a powerful punch. Unafraid of the robot and it's incredible strength, Cyrax activates his Buzzsaw blades and use them to strike Omega across the face, knocking him into a control panel. Omega then rips up the damaged control panel and throws it at Cyrax, who uses his teleportation to dodge the incoming projectile. Omega attempts to fire his minigun arms again, but Cyrax prevents this by using is energy net to pin Omega's hands to the ground before jumping on the robots back and trying to choke him out with all of his might while the robots spins around trying to shake the cyborg off. He tries to hold on, Cyrax soon looses his grip and is flung across the room.
Omega: PATHETIC.
Cyrax gets up and charges to Omega, slashing him repeatedly with his Buzzsaw blades, but Omega punches Cyrax before he can do anything else. Cyrax gets to his feet, preparing to launch a bomb from his chest, launching it at Omega who deflected it back at Cyrax who ducks in slow motion to dodge the bombs. He then launching two more Bombs at Omega's feet, launching the robot into the air. As Omega activates his rockets, Cyrax jumped onto Omega's chest, attacking him with quick and deadly blows, hitting him in the chest arm and side. He then pulls out his Buzzsaw blades, prepaing to cut the robot open.
Cyrax: Who's the Pathetic one now?
But in a flash, he sees a the claws of Omega heading right at him, forcing him to jump quickly off the robot, dodging but being cut and slashed on his legs by the claws and knocked onto the floor. As Cyrax stood up, he sees Omega land on the ground, and his plating and chest damaged, along with his own damaged legs. Cyrax had barely dodged another blast from the miniguns and was shot again by the missiles. Managing to move back in time to dodge the rest, he looked around seeing Omega moving towards him with his rockets, and Cyrax flies backwards trying to keep the robot at bay with his bombs. They fly across through the building for several minutes, Cyrax trying to stun Omega with a kick to the chest which didn't do much to Omega. But he lands a teleports just before he hits the wall, causing Omega to crash into it and fall to the ground as he appears behind him.
Cyrax: You will not win robotic Fiend!
Omega: YOU DO NOT SCARE ME.
Omega turns both of his arms into his Omega Gatling Guns, and fires a barrage of bullets the cyborg. Luckily, Cyrax is able to use his speed and fast reflexes to dodge the bullets. Both remain at a stalemate until Omega flies into the air and uses a Homing Attack on Cyrax, knocking him back into the wall of the building. Cyrax gets up and fires two pairs of energy nets that pin Omega tot he wall as well, but Omega is still able to scan him from a distance.
Omega: TARGET IS PREPARING FOR FULL ON ASSAULT. ENGAGING DEFENCE MODE.
Cyrax begins to ruthlessly attack the pinned Omega with his pulse blades, which inadvertently frees Omega, who desperately goes on the defensive. Cyrax continues to land blow after blow, before kicking Omega away and readying another rocket launch. Omega defends himself as the rocket fires, resulting in a huge explosion. As the smoke clears, Cyrax stands in the midst of a massive smoke cloud. Cyrax begins to limb away, until a robotic voice snaps him out of it.
Omega: IT IS NOT OVER UNTIL I SAY IT IS.
The smoke clears to reveal Omega, his armor severely burnt but survived against the rocket blast. He walks forward as he whirs his hands around.
Omega: PREPARE TO BE OBLIDERATED.
Omega then ruthlessly attacks Cyrax, punching him twice, shooting him with both Gatling Guns, burning him with Omega Fire, punching him up into the wall and firing two Omega Missiles at the cyborg at close range. The result of the blast sends Omega back and leaves Cyrax seriously wounded.
Cyrax: I may be finished...BUT I'M TAKING YOU WITH ME TO THE NETHEREALM.
Cyrax then open up his chest and activates his self destruct times. Acting quickly, Omega fires his missiles at the ceiling, creating a large hole that reveals the sky. Omega then grabs Cyrax with his injured arm and throws him upwards . As the cyborg is airborne, Omega fires his mini guns at Cyrax, tearing his one damaged arm apart in the process of being sent further into the air. Omega continues his assault until Cyrax is further enough in the air, right when the countdown end his body explodes. Omega then ceases his firing and collapse to the floor.
Omega: TARGET "CYRAX" COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY DESTROYED.
Results[]
Boomstick: Honestly Wiz, This was so much better than Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots
Wiz: This was a close one. With his ninja abilities, Cyrax could easily outmaneuver Omegas's bulk, but Omega had the edge in every other category. He had more options for defensive, close, and long-range combat.
Boomstick: Though what Omega lacked in size, he made up for in strength and firepower.
Wiz: Omega could go toe to toe with heavy hitters like hordes of Zombots and Gemeral, while Cyrax has been forced to resort to his self-destructed move to get him out of sticky situations. While Cyrax had his energy weapons and rockets, Omega had both those kinds of weapons and more.
Boomstick: And while neither of them have successfully defeated their rivals, Cyrax has been humiliated by Sub-Zero, over and over, and eventually freed by him, ending their feud. But Omega has helped Sonic foil Eggman's and multiple occasions.
Wiz: Cyrax may have been a skilled ninja and a fierce contender in the ranks of Mortal Kombat, his fighting styles and combat history couldn't over come Omega's offensive arsenal and battle ready programming.
Boomstick: 1...2...3...4, Cyrax got ro-blown up right out the door.
Wiz: The winner is E-123 Omega.
