Description

DC VS Marvel! Two African-American cyborgs with powerful weapons and vast arsenals clash in a fight to the death! Who will come on top as the top man in the machines?! Stay tuned to find out!

Interlude

Boomstick: We’ve already established that Cyborgs are fucking badass and today we’re going to pit some more of them against each other!

Wiz: Right, these two heroic African-American Cyborgs may not be strongest heroes in their respective universes, but that doesn’t mean they can’t do their part in keeping the world safe from evil!

Boomstick: Like Victor Stone, a.k.a Cyborg.

Wiz: And James Rhodes, the War Machine.

Boomstick: He’s Wiz and I’m Boomstick!

Wiz: And it’s our job to analyse their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win a DEATH BATTLE!

Cyborg charged up in DEATH BATTLE

(Cue Justice League - End Credit)

Wiz: The Justice League, One of the most powerful legion of the galaxy most mightiest of heroes. Like the smart and always prepared Batman, The lovely and heavily skilled Wonder Woman and of course the unstoppable man of steel himself, Superman.

Boomstick: But every team need a good set of brains in order to solve all the tech problem and where there are some that know how to work around a machine on how it work, None other was more of a machine then the man literally named Cyborg.

Cyborg

-Real Name: Victor "Vic" Stone

-Job: Football Star (Formally), Member of Justice League & Teen Titans

-Son of Silas Stone

-Fused with the Mother Box

-Part of the Regime in the Injustice Universe

(Cue Lego Batman 3 - Virtual Reality)

Wiz: Victor "Vic" Stone started off as your normal human being who originally was a football star to the public eyes.

Boomstick: With some of course daddy issue as his dad was a doctor who never did care for the old pigskin tossing. So much so that Victor decide screw it and head over to his father work.

Wiz: The timing couldn't gone smoothly as his father was working on something that was given to him by The Flash. This was the Mother Box.

Boomstick: Which is basically like a super virus that can control every tech around, oh and can also be a multi-dimensional portal where demon fly out. Which is why it probably wasn't the best idea to grab it and have it blow up on you.

Wiz: Most of Victor body was blown apart, however his flesh was also covered by some of the Mother Box that would start eating through his flesh.

Boomstick: Lucky his father wasn't all bad as after some robotic surgery, Victor would now become the Half-Man Half-Machine we all known....Right after he die.

Wiz: Yeah the project wasn't really a success. However the Mother Box decided to allow Victor to stay alive along with his mind and free will and fuse his body with the device that was suppose to save him. Allowing him to become Cyborg.

Boomstick: Wiz, Even I find that too confusing.

Wiz: Well it complicated, It involve an alien race of half-creature half-machine that serve Darkseid. The Mother Box was originally used to convert any capture lifeform to turn them into half-cybernetic being made to serve Darkseid in the invasion. However Victor was lucky to be the only one that kept his free-will to fight against Darkseid army.

Boomstick: I....still don't follow.

Wiz: You not easy to listen.

(Cue Teen Titans - Smugglers/Dock Duel)

Weapon/Abilities

-Superhuman Strength, Agility and IQ

-Plasma Cannon

-Teleportation

-Homing Missiles

-Sound Blaster

Boomstick: Regardless, This mother box is more of an improvement to Cyborg in every way. He's now 10x smarter then a normal human being, Allow him to scan through technology with ease and allow him to teleport.

Wiz: Thou Victor rarely have use for Teleportation, As he tend to stick around for a fight instead of leaving the battle. After all, He is a powerhouse member of the team giving his newly superhuman strength from the Mother Box and the device he fused with.

Boomstick: And boy does he have enough heat to pack for more beastly foes. He can charge up and fire plasma from his arm cannon, blast laser out of his robotic eyes, grow his fist for extra pack in punch with the Power Fist, Fire homing missle from his back and blast Hyper Sonic sound.

Wiz: This Hyper Sonic blaster is surprisingly strong enough, it able to push any opponent back regardless of how big they are or how strong they tend to be. He also equipped with a Sensor Systems to track hidden foes, change his shape to enhance his weapon, absorb power from device and hold a very effective healing factor.

Boomstick: And for the most damage to destroy all form of threat into ashes, Cyborg can combine his arms together to fire a Plasma beam so large, It can leave more then some scars.

Feats

-Defeated Toyman, Steppenwolf, Lex Luthor, GRID and his Regime self

-Tank out multiple blasts with no damages

-Push Darkseid to his own world

-Graduated from the Teen Titans to Justice League

-Hold 170 IQ, Making him smarter than a normal human

Wiz: He's able to tank out multiple form of fire power without a scratch, Outwit the Toyman in a virtual video game world and even took out the likes of Lex Luthor, Bane and even GRID who was created by Brainiac using some of the mechanic from Cyborg body.

Boomstick: Not to mention he even beat his Regime self up at one point as well. And he was even able to bring down the likes of Darkseid and that horn guy that no one remember.

Wiz: He did this by pushing Darkseid at full force using the portal to send him back to his own world.

Boomstick: Truly Cyborg really know how to work his way to bringing down someone like Darkseid.

Wiz: True but under that robotic suit is still human, and as such does have it faults that give Victor some disadvantage.

Flaws

-Defeated by Hal Jordan, Firestorm and Blue Beetle

-Killed by Aquaman in Flashpoint

-Weaker compare to Wonder Woman and Darkseid

-Sometime Lazy in his Teen Titans era

-Still human inside the metal armor

Boomstick: Like even thou he's a superhuman with a cyber body, He does have a kid-like nature at heart during his Teen Titans years, which can lead him to being off his game in some battle.

Wiz: Not to mention that he does have his fair share of loses, Not just from the Injustice Universe but from the Flashpoint Universe that Flash accidently made as well, such as the time he was actually killed by Aquaman in that universe.

Boomstick: Thou while he have his flaws

Wiz: 35 of them at that.

Boomstick: Oof, Rough time. Still, Cyborg is not one to back down from a fight and will keep his gadget in tach for whenever he needed.

War Machine take flight in DEATH BATTLE

(Cue Iron Man - Mark II)

Wiz: Every military stars have their start somewhere and for James Rhodes, it was to fit in with a crowd of his own and to make something of himself.

War Machine

-Real Name: James Rupert Rhodes

-Job: Military Pilot & Member of the Avengers

-Best Friends of Tony Stark

-Nickname: The Iron Patriot

-Formally a Cyborg

Boomstick: And it shown that James did have everything he need. Knowing his way on machinery and became an ace in piloting. He was a master of aviation and take flight like nothing.

Wiz: However his plane took some damages and he crashed stranded in a middle of a jungle. And all seem lost until he met a metal man. This was Tony Stark and his Mark I of his Iron Man suit. The first of it kind. Needing power for his suit to take flight, James offer to help Tony out. Since then they been the closest of friends.

Boomstick: And when you friends with Tony Stark, You get the best kind of present from his suit collections. And being the man who know the suit, Get to wear the suit and become the hero American loved. War Machine

(Cue Marvel vs Capcom - War Machine/Iron Man Mashup Theme)

Boomstick: And I'm glad to see a suit so full of weapon, It like a Michael Bay dream come true.

Wiz: With this suit, James Rhodes finally made something useful, aiding Iron Man as a side kick whenever Tony Stark needed him.

Weapons

-Repulsor Beam and Unibeam

Boomstick: And of course he can do so much more than Tony being a multi-gun super soldier, able to shoot in multiple directions thanks to his training in the army. He can fly at top speed and is nearly bullet proof.

Wiz: The suit is the Model 11 in Tony long line of suit. With it made for Offensive Combat and Heavy use of Firepower.

Boomstick: So much guns. Machine Guns, Flamethrowers, Even a Unibeam for the chest and Repulsor Beam for the Hands.

Wiz: He can also absorb energy from anything he touch, scan area like light and magnetic signals and for his latest upgrade include a Chameleon Mode, allowing him to not only cloak himself but also phase through solid object like walls and when his suit get place in the wrong hands, he can also self destruct it at will.

Boomstick: He even got a special weapon for finishing his foes in combat, The Proton Cannon.

Wiz: Originally it was used as Iron Man special move in the MvC universe, Which charge up to fire a beam so powerful. It can obliviate a person down to maximum amount of damage. And War Machine would of course share this weaponry as a last resort.

Feats

-Withstand a Nuke with 22 Kiloton of TNT

-Destroyed a massively sized rock

-Took out a drunk Tony Stark in his suit

-Defeated Magma, Ultimo and Storm

-Flew into orbit in seconds

Boomstick: War Machine is strong enough to break a large rock the size of an entire state, Defeated the likes of Magma and Ultimo and even flew so fast into orbit in a almost blink of an eye.

Wiz: He manage to withstand a nuke worth of 22 Kiloton of TNT giving on the size between the impactive blast and James himself.

Boomstick: And was even good enough to outmatch Iron Man himself, While he was drunk off his ass in his own party.

Wiz: Due James Rhodes have his weakness both inside and outside the suit.

Flaws

-Still human inside the suit

-Hold a bad case of PTSD

-Outside of the armor, Hold no real superhuman ability

-Was killed by Thanos outside the Cinematic Universe

Wiz: After all, Giving the role of being a superhero and even in the army can lead to some unstable mentle issue in James head, to the point where he would keep on thinking he be unworthy to use the suit time again.

Boomstick: Not to mention that outside of that suit, He might be skilled as a soldier but he doesn't hold any superhuman ability like a healing factor or anything, which is why he would have a really bad time against someone like Thanos, who blast straight through his suit.

Wiz: Despite this, It haven't slow him down before and doesn't slow him down at all. And James willing to do his best to ensure that as an American hero, He will fight for justice with his friends by his side.

Boomstick: All thanks to his large collections of guns. Guns galore.

Ready

Wiz: Alright the combatants are set, time to end this once and for all.

Boomstick: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!

DEATH BATTLE!!!

(At the Avengers Facility)

(Cue Metal Gear Solid - Intruder)

Cyborg break through the vent into the armory as he look around.

Cyborg: Man, This place really does not do security well.

Cyborg continue wondering until he stumble Iron Man suit.

Cyborg: Man, Wonder who would have a suit like this? And what with this ugly ketchup and mustard scheme?

As Cyborg finish that, The roof break as another Iron Man in Grey appear behind Cyborg

(Cue F-Zero GX - Fire Field)

War Machine: I'll have you know that suit belong to a friend of mine. And I don't take kindly to trespasser, Even if their right about the colors.

FIGHT!

Cyborg: Oh good, Trouble. Just what I need.

Cyborg turn his arm into a blaster cannon and begin firing at War Machine as James Rhodes begin dodging before charging at Cyborg. With an ! appearing next to Victor Stones as he get rammed through the Facility before getting toss to the roof where Victor land on his feet.

Cyborg: Man, That some state of the art tech. Too bad I am gonna turn it to scrap.

War Machine: Funny, I was gonna say the same thing.

War Machine begin firing his machine gun at Cyborg while Cyborg grab some debris and use it as a shield. War Machine then fly over Cyborg and land on him, pinning Cyborg down before Cyborg grab War Machine legs.

Cyborg: Get your rust bucket suit off me.

Cyborg toss War Machine off him and fire his homing missiles at War Machine that lock on to him. War Machine quickly fire Repulsor Beams at the missiles to destroy them.

War Machine: You think that really gonna stop me. I'm faster than you ever be.

War Machine fire his Unibeam at Cyborg slam the floor to quickly teleport away from the beam. War Machine then begin scanning the area for any sign of Cyborg.

War Machine: Where did that tin-man go?

Cyborg appear behind War Machine and begin blasting his Sound Blaster at War Machine as War Machine skid backward, covering his ears while his suit taking some damages.

Cyborg: I have more surprises then you believe.

Cyborg blast a portal behind War Machine and fire stronger, Pushing War Machine into the Apokolips, Giving Cyborg time to scan through War Machine suit as War Machine notice Darkseid's servant flying at War Machine.

War Machine: !!!

War Machine quickly regain his air-time and start blasting through the servant of Darkseid with his minigun and repulsor beams and even kick one of them straight down before flying back into the portal back to his own world.

Cyborg: I got you now!

Cyborg finish scanning begin firing everything he got from his missiles and his energy blast as War Machine quickly turn on his Chameleon form to dodge through all of it, phasing through Cyborg and flying high in the air.

Cyborg: GAHH!!!

War Machine: Time to finish this metal trouble maker.

War Machine quickly get out his Proton Cannon and begin firing at Cyborg.

Cyborg: I am far from done!

Cyborg change and fuse his arms, firing his strongest and largest Plasma Beam at War Machine as both beams cross each other, trying to push each other as War Machine use his Unibeam to boost his blast as Cyborg fire his eye beam. Both fighters giving it their all.

Cyborg: Admit it, I'm smarter and stronger then you.

War Machine: But you more machine than me.

War Machine quickly fly down as both beam reach the sky as War Machine slam down, shocking the ground with his Electromagnetic Pulse, sending a wave of energy at Cyborg, shocking him.

Cyborg: AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

War Machine fly and grab Cyborg, flying him high in the air again and firing his Unibeam through Cyborg chest, enhancing the beam as Cyborg scream in pain before exploding from the blast. War Machine stop his blast and land back on the ground.

War Machine: Not as smart as he say he is.

K.O.!

James Rhodes place his suit away, heading out to get some fast food with Rocket Raccoon and Peter Parker while Martian Manhunter and Superman try to look for Cyborg remains.

Results

(Cue The Avengers - Theme Song)

Boomstick: Now how's that for a firework show.

Wiz: This was quite a difficult battle to choose from, As both had quite a very great amount of experience over their history. Both were skilled in term of combat and both have fought off against interdimensional being like Thanos and Darkseid.

Boomstick: And you think that Cyborg would have quiet a higher edge, He is after all superhuman compare to James Rhodes outside the suit and his scanning for weakness should be something to out rank.

Wiz: However James Rhodes was pretty much more skilled compare to Victor Stone in term of past experience. While being a football star does have it perk in term of strength, James is much more improved thanks to his military training, Giving him a higher edge in aim and even strategy.

Boomstick: Cyborg was advance enough to defeat GRID who had Cyborg every move and was powerful enough to bring down Lex Luthor who machine were as powerful enough to take out Superman, but War Machine was even more skilled to take down Ultimo, who can self regenerate and control metal. But I know what you thinking, What about the Mother Box, The all mighty power source to Cyborg power. Couldn't it heal his body like before.

Wiz: Yes it can but even that have it limitation and doesn't tend to save Cyborg all the time, Such as the time that his suit withstand some heavy damages during his fight with Aquaman. In which Aquaman threw his trident at such an extreme force that it damage Cyborg arm cannon.

Boomstick: And he was able to rip off his cybernetic armor with ease. While War Machine suit was strong enough to withstand 22 Kiloton Nuke that is pretty much as powerful compare to Aquaman throw. Hell he was powerful enough to destroy a rock the size of the state with atleast 286.53 of TNT.

Wiz: Cyborg might have withstand many form of bullet, explosive and energy blast before, But when it come to the size and how much they both can withstands, War Machine proven he have the higher edge against Cyborg himself.

Boomstick: In the end, This wasn't much of a Victory for Victor Stones.

Wiz: The Winner is War Machine

Trivia

• The connection between Cyborg and War Machine is that their both African Americans who bounded by machine, Often serving as the side-character to the main hero (The Justice League and The Avengers) and powerful enough to take out some powerful being (Such as Darkseid and Thanos). The big different being that James Rhodes is still human and can leave his iron suit while Victor Stone is permanently attached to his cybernetic body to survive.
• This was one of many adopted Death Battle by The Saints Jigglypuff. As well as being the first Adopted Death Battle for Season 2 along with Clayface vs. Sandman.
