History[]

Cut Man was created by Dr. Thomas Light for the purposes of timber-felling, and was part of the first line-up of Robot Masters. His Special Weapon, the Rolling Cutter, was designed for this purpose - a giant pair of shears on his head constructed from "ceramic titanium" that can be thrown at objects to slice right through them. Cut Man was kidnapped along with five (seven in Powered Up) other Robot Masters by Light's old partner, Dr. Albert Wily, and reprogrammed to serve him. He attacked a lumberjacking facility where he was defeated by Mega Man.
