Crazy Dave vs Clash King is a What-If? Death Battle written by BigShark81913, featuring Crazy Dave from Plants vs Zombies and the King from Clash Royale.
Description[]
Plants vs Zombies vs Clash Royale! Zombies and skeletons are nothing when you have a magical army on your side! When these two titans of comedic warfare collide, which army will take home the crown?
Interlude[]
Wiz: Crazy Dave, the insane hobo who loves fighting zombies almost as much as he loves tacos.
Boomstick: The King, the elixir-farming, mad-laughing, cannon-firing warmonger.
Wiz: When put against all odds, these two masters of defense and offense always have their versatile armies of odd creatures on their sides.
Boomstick: So, what’ll happen when we take away their usual opponents and put them against each other? He’s Wiz and I’m Boomstick!
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who will win... a DEATH BATTLE!
Crazy Dave eats food off the floor in DEATH BATTLE![]
(Cue: Daytime in Your Front Yard)
Wiz: The sun is shining. Plants are thriving. Everything is perfect today.
Boomstick: Except, due to a crazed zombie scientist, humans are on the brink of extinction due to a flood of hungry brain-eating zombies! Welcome to Suburbia, bitches.
Wiz: Amidst this chaos, one brave man rose above the shut-ins and cowards. With his infamous pan, dirty beard, and love for tacos, Crazetopher David Blazing the Third made it his responsibility to end the zombie invasion.
Popup: You can just call him Crazy Dave.
Boomstick: Crazy Dave went around town, giving his seed packs to the citizens of Suburbia, including us, the Player. He’d then go back in time to get a second taste of the best taco he ever had! Crazy…
Wiz: Unfortunately, going back in time would put him back in danger of the maniacal Doctor Zomboss, leader of the zombie forces, meaning that Dave was thrusted back into the war of plants against zombies.
Boomstick: But knowing he’s in a never-ending war never brings his spirits down, because Dave has a massive arsenal of troopers and gadgets to help him fight off these brain-eating fiends!
Wiz: Crazy Dave’s biggest factor is his army made completely of sentient plants, which are all powered by sunlight. Let’s start off with his Peashooters, the most iconic plant of the game.
Boomstick: He has normal Peashooters, Repeaters that fire double the peas, Gatling Peas that fire quadruple the peas, and so forth. He also has multiple-headed Peashooters, like the Twopeater and the Threepeater.
Wiz: There are also ice-based Peashooters, including the Snow Pea, the Ice Queen Pea, and the Frostbolt Shooter. Other elemental Peashooters include Fire Peashooters, Electric Peashooters, Shadow Peashooters, Droplet Shooters, and Goo Peashooters.
Boomstick: Some of Dave’s Peashooters are crossbreeds with other plants, like the super durable Pea-nut and the chomping Snap Pea. Wait, does this mean-
Wiz: Beeshooters fire stinging bees, Primal Peashooters stun opponents, Sling Peas target the closest five enemies, Podfathers buff the power of all nearby Peashooters, and the Cosmic Pea summons a second Peashooter with faster attack speed.
Boomstick: Next, we have the metal as hell Chompers! These snapping plants with massive maws are capable of tearing through zombies, but they need time to chew. Alternate Chompers include the more powerful Super Chomper and the Three-Headed Chomper.
Wiz: Dave also has the Cacti on his side. These desert beauties fire spiked balls that reach the furthest enemy in the row of zombies and can extend to pop balloons. There are other types of Cacti, like the Ball Cacti that shoot spiked balls, the Tree Cacti that fire lightning, the Galacta-Cacti that go berserk and fire spikes everywhere on the screen, and the Prickly Pears that inflict counter damage.
Boomstick: The Starfruit are cutesy little stars that fling damaging stars in five directions, with alternate forms like the Angel Starfruit that fires in 10 directions and the Sea Starfruit that rolls down the lane.
Wiz: Dave’s Snapdragons are beastly plants that shoot fire from their mouths. There are electrifying Zapdragons, fear-inducing Twin-Headed Snapdragons, and chilling Cold Snapdragons.
Boomstick: Let’s move on to Dave’s personal Batmen, the Mushrooms! These plants are only active during the night, so they just sit around and sleep during the day.
Wiz: The mushrooms include Puff-shrooms, long range Scaredy-Shrooms, bubble-firing Fume-Shrooms, slime-firing Goop-Shrooms, parasitic Spore-Shrooms that turn fallen foes into shrooms, Magic-Shrooms that damage zombies in different directions, and Vamporcinis that absorb zombie health.
Popup: Other Shrooms include Pyro-Shrooms, Cyro-Shrooms, poisonous Nightcaps, power-distributing Mushroom Ringleaders, and many more less important ones. Why are there so many? Ask Dave.
Boomstick: Crazy Dave also has my favorite things in the world: explosives! His explosive plants are double-headed Cherry Bombs, contact-activated Potato Mines, mass zombie-freezing Ice-Shrooms, flaming Irascible Mushrooms, fireballing Jalapeños, explosive Popcorn, Bombegranates that leave explosive seeds behind, Hot Dates that attract lovesick zombies and explode, Puffballs that create poisonous explosions, Heath Seakers that fire piercing darts, Bud’uh Booms that fire stunning butter, and Landlord Bamboos that explode whenever a zombie touches it.
Wiz: He also has an array of catapults, like Cabbage-pults, Kernel-pults, Melon Slice-pults, Carrotilleries, Coconut Snipers, Pepper-pults, Banana Launchers, Dusk Lobbers, Sap-flings, Apple Tossers, Turkey-pults, Stickybomb Rice, Bearberry Mortars, Bud-mintons, Pomegranate-pults, and Pineapple-pults, which all fire their namesake fruits and veggies.
Boomstick: Dave’s personal boxing troupe comes in the form of melee plants, like the zombie-squishing Squashes, heatbutting Beets, boxing Bonk Choys, suplexing Strong Broccolis, surprise attacking Celery Stalkers, snapping Parsnips, whiplashing Wasabi Whips, and so much more!
Popup: Others include Pokras, Tumbleweeds, Tornacorns, Chest-nuts, Bramble Bushes, Tiger Grass, Cran Jelly, Rhubarbians, Bun Chi, Sword Disciples, Guerrequilas, Hammer Flowers, Burdock Batters, and multiple types of deadly grass.
Wiz: His plant army can attack from above with airborne plants like zombie-grabbing Loquats, Asparagus Fighters, flying Saucer Squashes, pea-shooting Horsebeans, missile-firing Egret Flower Planes, flying Skyshooters, pea-powered Pod Fighters, zombie-thrasing Apple Saucers, bouncing Leaf Blowers, and Wingnuts that can nullify zombie attacks.
Boomstick: A key (but kinda lame) part of Dave’s troops are his Sunflowers. These smiling flowers generate sunlight faster, giving his plant army more energy to rumble. Other Sunflowers include Twin Sunflowers, Power Flowers, Mega Flowers, Cosmic Flowers, and Primal Sunflowers that can actually strike back against zombies!
Popup: There are non-Sunflower sunlight producers, like Sun-beans, Solar Tomatos, Sun-shrooms, Solar Sages, and Gold Blooms.
Wiz: Dave’s defense is mostly built up of tough Wall-Nuts. Although strong, most of the nuts can be eating by zombies over time. There are Tall-Nuts, Explode-o-Nuts, Giant Wall-Nuts, Infi-nuts, Primal Wall-Nuts, Cosmic Nuts, Mirror-Nuts, and Mixed-Nuts. There are other defense-based plants, like Pumpkin Shells and Blockoli, and some flinging defense plants, like Garlic and Iceberg Lettuce.
Boomstick: There are also plants that can hypnotize a foe, like Beauty-shrooms, Hypno-shrooms, Perfume-shrooms, Caulipowers, and Pea-Pharmacists.
Wiz: Some plants can modify the environment, like Lily Pads that allows plants to thrive on water, Hot Potatoes that can thaw frozen plants, Oily Olives that make the ground slippery, and Oxygen Algae that lets plants grow underwater.
Boomstick: One special plant Dave has up his sleeve is the Imitater. This special ‘tater can change into any other plant, making it the most versatile thing on the board!
Wiz: Weeds, although harmful to our grass in real life, are pretty handy for fighting zombies. They can smack zombies, fire seeds, and due to their high numbers, they’re really handy as expendables.
Boomstick: Dave’s Mints are pretty handy too. These little guys can buff plants around them depending on their categories. They can also affect the battlefield, like lighting it on fire and freezing it!
Wiz: There are healing plants too, like Coffee Beans that wake mushrooms up, Heal Flowers, and Pistachios that heal and attack.
Boomstick: Vines are plants that wrap around other plants and give them power boosts, like Pea Vines and Gloom Vines. There are some Vines that are used purely for defense, like Pyre Vines and Explode-O-Vines.
Wiz: When all else fails, Dave has his Boss Plants by his side. These are giant, deadlier versions of classic plants, with updated abilities. There’s the Sunflower Queen who can turn sunlight into a weapon, hit opponents with vines, and fire a blazing solar cannon.
Boomstick: The Spooky Squash is a big fatass who can melt zombies with fire and squish zombies by jumping on them! Plus, it’s all decorated for Halloween. Spooky!
Wiz: The Super Bean is a giant Bean that can fire lasers, soar through the skies, teleport, and create defensive forcefields that can absorb massive amounts of damage.
Boomstick: The Big Stump is a big ol’ tree that crushes anything that tries to go near it. Although it can’t move, this big tree can toss stumps at opponents to make up for range.
Wiz: The Marigold is a Sunflower made up of diamonds and gold. She can summon an army of Weeds to fight for her and she drops treasure when she is defeated.
Boomstick: The Royal Hypno-Flower is a humungous pink Sunflower that can mind control foes with her spores, create a Hypno-shroom army, and turn fields of zombies into hungry goats!
Wiz: Bitter Dill and Brian are giant pickles that shoot poisonous goop at foes, throw zombies around, fire mints, and…
Boomstick: Oil themselves up.
Wiz: …become briney.
Boomstick: Blight Cap is a massive Nightcap who can un-zombify zombies, throw clusters of shrooms, shoot purple fire, and create a Doom-shrooms army! When her health is low, she creates shields by covering herself with spores, but it can be destroyed by really bad smells.
Wiz: Finally, Dreadwood is an entire forest that can use its roots to attack zombies, shoot large balls of sap, and even fire lasers from its eye.
Boomstick: Some plants from the awesome shooter game Garden Warfare are part of Dave’s army too! There’s the flaming Torchwood, laser-firing Citron, patriotic Kernel Corn, thorn-flinging Rose, ninja-like Nightcap, expendable Wildflowers, sap-firing Oak, and his little buddy Acorn. Oh, and he also has a literal nuke on his side!
Wiz: The Tactical Cuke is a giant, exploding cucumber shaped like a literal nuclear bomb.
Boomstick: Yikes.
Wiz: There are many more plants than we listed, so we’ll just give you a list of the rest of them.
Popup: Aspearagus, Shamrock, Frisbee Shooter, Water Gun Grass, Electric Anemone, Pomegunate, Oak Archer, Thyme Warp, Lightning Reed, Dandelion, Laser Bean, Small Kumquat, Red Stinger, Tulip Trumpeter, Bowling Bulb, Guacodile, Moonflower, Missile Toe, Electric Currant, Homing Thistle, Lava Guava, Electric Blueberry, Jack O’ Lantern, Ghost Pepper, Kiwibeast, Electrici-tea, Ice Bloom, Dartichoke, Ultomato, Meteor Flower, Inferno, Boom Berry, Bzzz Button, SeaFlora, MayBee, Fire Gourd, Venomous Flower, Acidic Citrus, Ampthurium, R.A.D. Missiles, Monkeyfruit, Pretty Plum, Dragonfruit, Auberninja, Passionflower Apprentice, Lotus Shooter, Vanilla, Banana Tree, Dual Pistol Pinecone, Narcissus Shooter, Alarm Arrowhead, Jeweler Pomegranate, Water Lotus, Splitting Stephania, Orchid Chef, Kunai Tupistra, Boophone Geigi, Earthstar Nuclear Silo, Zapricot, Whipvine, Pismashio, Pinecone, Wildberry, Strawberrian, and so forth.
Wiz: …more than I thought.
Boomstick: Outside of his plants, Dave has some other tricks up his dirty sleeve. He has multiple Tricks, to be exact, which can change the environment and help the plants take home the gold. These tricks include Guardian Tricks, Kabloom Tricks, Smarty Tricks, Mega-Grow Tricks, and Solar Tricks.
Wiz: He also has Lawnmowers, that are used as a failsafe if a zombie reaches his front door. There are a multitude of mowers, like ones that can go underwater, ones that go on the roof, and robot mowers that can swap their positions.
Boomstick: Shovels, flower pots, garden gloves, and wheelbarrows are used to move plants around town, and watering cans are used to help plants live long lives!
Wiz: Dave also has a knack for inventing his own gadgets, like debris-destroying Dynamite, stunning Zombie Zappers, plant-boosting Mega-Perks, freezing ZombiFreeze, fog-destroying Fog-a-majigs, fireworks, mousefly-attracting harmonicas, Bat-Zappers, never-melting ice cream, flamethrowers, banana cannons, umbrella shields, Dave Bots, and his very own fire-breathing T-Rex Mech.
Boomstick: Dave’s best friend is his RV, Penny. This is where he stores all of his junk, and this magic rustbucket can fly and even time travel! He also has an airship used in sky levels, a teleporting Junkasaurus, and a peanut butter and jelly firing parade float called the Cramtoggle.
Wiz: He has multiple power-ups, like the Power Zap, Power Toss, Power Snow, Power Flame, etcetera. They should all be pretty self explanatory.
Boomstick: Crazy Dave and his plants also pack a punch with what they’ve done in the past. The Boom Boom Mushroom itself could create a city wide explosion! And that’s just one of them.
Wiz: The Meteor Flower’s meteors accordingly caused the extinction of the dinosaurs, and the Tactic Cuke could create an explosion visible from outer space.
Popup: Although superpowered plants like the Plasma Pea are said to contain entire universes, we’re really not sure how to work that into a versus sense.
Boomstick: They’re pretty durable too. Super Bean could survive being punched off the moon by Super Brainz, and they can survive being frozen by Brain Freeze who could freeze an entire water park.
Wiz: Plants can all react to missiles, lightning, and some of them can even fly across space in mere seconds!
Boomstick: As you could probably tell with his appearance, Dave has some weaknesses too. He has no proper battle training, sucks ass at paying attention, and he also requires a lotta sunlight to keep his plants alive.
Wiz: Arguably his most hindering weakness is his craziness. While it can be an advantage due to how unpredictable he is, he’s also just… plain insane.
Boomstick: Most of his army also relies on the time of day. When the sun is out, most plants thrive! When it’s nighttime, most of them fall asleep and put most responsibility on the poor shrooms!
Wiz: Despite his flaws, Crazy Dave is fearless nonetheless, and will stop at nothing to defeat the zombies and get his beloved taco.
Boomstick: Why? BECAUSE HE’S CRAAAAAAAAZY!!!
Crazy Dave: “Greetings, neighbor! The name's Crazy Dave. But you can just call me Crazy Dave. Listen, I've got a surprise for you. But first, I'll need you to clear your lawn. Use your shovel and dig up those plants! LET THE DIGGING COMMENCE!”
The King towers over DEATH BATTLE![]
Wiz: In the far away land of… well, it really has no name, war is extremely common. Skeleton attacks, village raids, and other catastrophes are the way of life.
Boomstick: One day, the people decided it was time to move on from pillaging each other’s villages and lead armies into battle in giant arenas! Armies of card-summoned warriors were gathered, but not under the influence of another fighter. Instead, their leaders sat in towers all day and fired cannonballs.
Wiz: Meet the Kings, crowned leaders of their own little clans. These charismatic royals start in the Training Camp, and over time, level up and go further up the battle hierarchy.
Boomstick: And, during their whole corporate takeover, Kings gather a whole lotta troops and weapons, eventually becoming an Ultimate Champion! Let’s dive into the King’s collection of cards.
Wiz: The King’s power source for his troops is an energizing purple liquid called Elixir. Literally everything runs on it, and usually, the King can only hold ten Elixir at a time. He can gain Elixir at a faster rate, however, with some modifications.
Boomstick: King’s first trooper is the Knight. These armed, mustachioed soldiers wield powerful swords and are pretty good for combat.
Wiz: An upgraded version of the Knight, the Mega Knight, is stronger, more durable, and uses powerful spiked gauntlets instead of swords for combat.
Boomstick: The Archers come in pairs. They’re lightly armored, quick on their feet, and can fire from distances, even hitting airborne forces.
Wiz: There are multiple versions of the Archers, like Super Archers who knock the target back a few meters, Firecrackers that fire powerful explosive shots, Princesses with incredible aim and flaming arrows, Magic Archers that fire piercing arrows, and Super Magic Archers that can bring opponents to their team for a short amount of time.
Boomstick: He has rowdy little Goblins on his side too! These little shits come in many different shapes and sizes, like the main Goblins that come in groups of four and stab foes with knives like they’re walking down an alley in the dark. They’re really fast too, but they have low health.
Wiz: Spear Goblins are a group of three Goblins who throw sharp spears from a long distance. Just like the other Goblins, they’re fast, but very fragile.
Boomstick: The Goblin Gang, really good name for a motorcycle troupe by the way, are groups of Goblins made up of three normal Goblins and two Spear Goblins, giving them both melee and range potential.
Wiz: Dart Goblins are Goblins who are summoned by themselves. They fire fast-moving darts with lingering poisonous properties.
Boomstick: The Goblin Giant is a massive Goblin, who, unlike his little counterparts, is extremely durable. It only targets buildings, but not to worry, he has two little Spear Goblins riding on his back to keep him covered!
Wiz: Next up, we have the Minions. These flying gargoyles throw pellets at foes no matter where they are and, despite their low health, they make it up with their ability to fly over hazards and rivers.
Boomstick: The Minion Horde doesn’t change much, it just adds two more Minions for the price of one. Kinda lame…
Wiz: The Mega Minion is a giant, armored Minion with double the durability and double the damage. However, the clunky armor makes the Mega Minion move at a slower pace.
Boomstick: Now, we have the King’s little undead army: Skeletons! Although they don’t seem that brainy, they’re really handy.
Wiz: The normal Skeleton spawn is a group of four low-health Skeletons that dish out medium damage. Usually, their only purpose is to distract big troops, so they only cost one Elixir.
Boomstick: The Skeleton Army is a group of fifteen skellies who still have low health but patch that hole with their humungous numbers! Quantity over quality, right Wiz?
Wiz: …Bombers are more durable Skeletons who toss powerful exploding bombs to disperse large hordes. However, these bombs can only hit ground units, so they’re useless against airborne troops like Minions.
Popup: There are more bomber Skeletons, like Wall Breakers that move in groups of two and Balloon Bombers that throw bombs from aircrafts held up by balloons.
Boomstick: The Skeleton Barrels are groups of Skeletons shoved down a rinky-dinky wooden barrel that busts on impact and drops the eight Skeletons inside. You can get all of this for only three Elixir!
Wiz: Skeleton Guards are a group of three Skeletons who wear armor and use spears instead of swords for longer range.
Boomstick: Finally, the Giant Skeleton is a much bigger skelly who clobbers foes with its bare hands and drops giant bombs on the ground after being killed! Why does Clash Royale have its own terrorists?
Wiz: Next up, we have the iconic Barbarians. Usually summoned in groups of five, these battle-ready swordsmen are used purely to overwhelm larger foes and tear apart anything in their way.
Boomstick: Elite Barbarians come in pairs of two, and are upgraded in literally everything, like armor, health, speed, and strength.
Wiz: The Battle Ram is an armored log carried by two Barbarians that is used to drop the health of buildings in seconds. Once the Battle Ram is dropped, the Barbarians grab their swords and get ready to attack.
Boomstick: The Lumberjack is an ax-wielding Barbarians who dishes out more damage, moves faster, and has more health. When defeated, he drops a Rage spell that deals damage to any foes that walk by.
Wiz: The King also has more magical foes, namely Spirits. These small ghosts harbor elements, like Fire Spirits, that deal large damage by jumping onto troops but they are very fragile otherwise.
Boomstick: Ice Spirits are chilling Spirits that deal small freezing damage by suicide bombing onto opponents. Like their “hotter” siblings, they are very fragile.
Wiz: Heal Spirits are another form of Spirit that pounce on foes to create a circle around them that gradually heals any nearby allies.
Boomstick: Finally, the Electro Spirit is a shocking little fella who pounces on foes and stuns them by using electricity. This electricity can chain between nine opponents, electrocuting them all!
Wiz: The King’s best units for building destruction are the Giants. These bearded behemoths don’t attack other troops and usually need backup to defend themselves, but once they reach a tower, it’s as good as gone.
Boomstick: The Royal Giant wields a cannon and hits buildings from a long distance, and unlike the other Giants, the Electro Giant zaps and stuns units that hit him. Shocking.
Wiz: The King’s P.E.K.K.A.s are massive armor robots with high health and power that rip and tear through any opposing units that cross its path. However, they’re pretty costly at seven Elixir.
Boomstick: The Mini P.E.K.K.A.s are little version of the same robot that still pack an incredible punch, and even though they’re weaker, these versions are much faster and cost less Elixir than the big one.
Popup: Another version of the Mini P.E.K.K.A. is the Super Mini P.E.K.K.A., which can oneshot foes by turning them into pancakes. Mmm, pancakes!
Wiz: There are also the King’s Musketeers, which can either come as a single unit or a group of three, depending on which card he uses.
Boomstick: There’s also the Hunter, a unit with a killer moustache and an even more killer shotgun. The closer the enemy is, the more damage his blicky does. Only drawback is that he can’t shoot airborne foes.
Wiz: The King also has his very own Wizards, who throw blazing fireballs to explode hordes.
Popup: He also has an awesome afro.
Boomstick: Other Wizards include Ice Wizards, who slow foes down and do damage with icy attacks, and Electro Wizards, who stun enemies with electricity and can attack two troops at once.
Wiz: Parallel to the Wizards are the magical Witches, who have ranged attacks and resurrective abilities, being capable of summoning four Skeletons from the ground.
Boomstick: The Night Witch can summon two Bats for air damage and also use a badass battle axe for ground damage. Once she dies, a Bat will pop in from thin air to take her place.
Wiz: The Mother Witch is an old Witch who can curse any foe so that when they die, they are turned into fighting pigs to continue the war. There’s also an upgraded version of the Witch, the Super Witch, who can use all the powers of every Witch listed above.
Boomstick: The King can place his own flying machines, like flying barrels that shoot cannonballs, Sparkies that electrocute opponents, and Cannon Carts that chase down foes with their own set of wheels!
Wiz: There are also Animal Riders, like the… oh no.
Boomstick: Is that what I think it is?
Wiz: …
Boomstick: HOG RIIIIDAAAAAAA!!!
Wiz: …the Hog Rider is, well, exactly what it sounds like. This warrior rides into battle on his very own hog, wielding a smashing hammer and can also hop over long distances like rivers.
Boomstick: There’s also the Ram Rider, who is like the Hog Rider but less awesome. I mean, who’d pick a ram over a hog?
Wiz: The Royal Hogs are a group of pigs that act as homing missiles towards the nearest building, even hopping over rivers to do so.
Boomstick: The Prince is a jouster who rides into battle on a mighty stallion, and can attack from a fair distance with his lance, basically making an enemy kabob. There’s also the Dark Prince, who is just the Prince with a cooler color scheme and a durable shield.
Wiz: Another big part of the King’s forces are the Golems. Like the Giants, the Golems only target buildings and have high health and strength. However, when they are destroyed, the enemies around them will be damaged also and two Golemites are summoned. Other types of Golem include the Ice Golem, who when destroyed, deals ice damage to foes.
Boomstick: There’s also the Super Ice Golem, the Elixir Golem, and the Lava Hound that shoots fire from the skies.
Popup: Oh, and there’s also a Super Lava Hound.
Wiz: Another aerial force are the King’s very own Dragons. There are multiple types like the Inferno Dragons, Electro Dragons, and Skeleton Dragons, who all attack with their namesake. Basic dragons, called Baby Dragons, just shoot fire from above.
Boomstick: Other troops of the King’s army include Bats that spawn in groups of five and attack from above, Valkyries that swing battle axes, Battle Healers that heal other troops, Bowlers that roll giant boulders, Executioners that throw axes, Miners that can dig out of the ground and appear anywhere, Bandits that hit foes with clubs, Royal Ghosts that roam and attack, Fishermen that slap enemies with fish, and Phoenixes that can reform. There’s also the Rascals, a trio of bandits that can shoot arrows and attack close-up, and Royal Recruits, that spawn in groups of six and use their shields to block attacks.
Wiz: The King also has special units called Champions, like the sword-swinging Golden Knight, army-creating Skeleton King, bombing and digging Mighty Miner, immovable Monk, the arrow-firing Little Prince and his giant guardian, and the Archer Queen who can become invisible.
Popup: Alongside his Champions, the King’s normal troops can be Evolved, giving them stat boosts.
Boomstick: When all else fails, the good ol’ King has his own Spells he can utilize! He can shoot arrows, call down lightning, launch fireballs, cause an earthquake, activate a rocket, freeze foes, induce poison, summon a tornado, roll a log, heal allies, clone cards, increase unit power, and thaw troops!
Wiz: The King also has multiple buildings he can place, like cannons, electric towers called Teslas, Bomb Towers, Inferno Towers, X-Bows, Mortars, Goblin Huts, Goblin Cages, Goblin Drills, Barbarian Huts, Tombstones, Furnaces, and Elixir Collectors.
Boomstick: Even though he’s pretty lazy, the King is no sucker when it comes to fighting. By training under the Goblin Grandmaster, he can levitate and even predict attacks!
Wiz: In one advertisement, the King had a lever that when pulled could turn him into a randomized unit, giving him the same abilities and weaknesses as that unit. He also has his very own cannon on the top of his tower, used for attacking opponents who get too close.
Boomstick: Speaking of Towers, there are four different Tower Troops as of now: Tower Princess, Baby Goblins, Cannoneer, and the Dagger Duchess.
Wiz: The King and his troops have displayed feats of strength too. Every troop can tear down buildings, even weaker ones like Skeletons.
Boomstick: The Wizard’s fireball can tear apart a massive town hall with one blast, and the Ice Wizard could freeze entire Inferno Towers! Not to mention, a Lava Pup could turn the moon to ash with a really big blast!
Wiz: The King himself can survive every spell in the game, including giant fireballs and literal rockets. Plus, his Electro Wizard could survive the meteor summoned by the Elixir Golem.
Boomstick: All troops can dodge the Electro Wizard’s lightning, musket fire, and specifically the Dark Prince could catch an arrow before it hit him. However, he and his troops do have their own Achilles’ heel.
Wiz: Once a King’s tower is destroyed, he can’t really fight back due to his cannon and level being gone. They also don’t have an infinite amount of Elixir, meaning there are sometimes pauses between troops being placed.
Popup: If there is too much Elixir in storage, an Elixir Spill will occur, getting rid of some Elixir.
Boomstick: As we mentioned before, some troops can only hit ground foes while some can only hit airborne foes, with a lucky few being able to attack both.
Wiz: No matter what he’s up against, the King will lead his crew into battle, because victory is his favorite flavor.
The King: “Heheheha!”
Intermission[]
Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set! We've run the data through all possibilities.
Boomstick: IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLE!!!
DEATH BATTLE![]
“Welcome one and all to another round of Clash Royale!”
Inside of a massive arena, the crowds were booming with excitement. The seats were filed with goblins, skeletons, and a huge assortment of other mythical creatures. At the top of the arena sat a normal goblin, working as the announcer of the match.
“On the left side of the arena, we have our reigning champion, the Blue King!” the goblin shouted. A bearded man with a shiny crown and blue garments stood on top of a tower in the middle of two other towers. He raised his hands into the air to accept the applause from the spectators, before grabbing a deck of cards and holding them tight in his clenched fist.
“And on the right side of the arena, we have the Red King!”
Adjacent to the Blue King was a nearly identical setup, only for the fact that it was red instead of blue. The Red King gritted his teeth, and clenched his hand on the cannon lever. However, a great shadow loomed over him, and he screamed in terror as he and his buildings were instantly smashed by a flying RV.
The crowd went silent, as the RV was perfectly fine from the explosion. After a few seconds, the door slammed open, and a strange man walked out. With a dirty beard and a pan on his head, Crazy Dave was thrust into battle.
“My taco should be somewhere around here.” the hobo muttered. He looked towards the top of the arena, and caught a glimpse of his beloved taco sitting on top of a pile of other treasures. However, when he looked down, he noticed the King and his towers.
The entire crowd just stared at the strange man, until a Barbarian began to shout. “Fight! Fight! Fight!”
Realizing he had to fight to retrieve his meal, Dave pulled the back of his truck open and pulled out multiple bags of seeds. From the top of his tower, the King laughed, and as soon as the trumpets sounded, he cranked the lever on his cannon and sent a cannonball towards Crazy Dave!

Trivia[]
- The connections between Crazy Dave and the King are:
- Both are bearded icons from free mobile games who lead an army to fight against opposing forces.
- Their troops require a special form of energy to charge and be created (Sunlight and Elixir).
