Crash Bandicoot vs Yang Xiao Long is a What-if? death battle made by Ultmswag, it is also Ultmswag's season 2 premiere.
Description[]
Crash Bandicoot vs RWBY! Two main stars that are in bright colors and also have really good physical prowess will fight it out to prove who is stronger! Will Crash spin another Victory by putting Yang's fire out, or will Yang give the bandicoot a bandi-beating of his own?!
Interlude[]
Ken: Being physical is something a lot of people start out as in the world of fiction but these two light-colored characters are pure experts in their field and sometimes it's just best to stay physical.
John: One of our defending champions: Crash Bandicoot, the blunder from Down Under.
Ken: And Yang Xiao Long, the Sunny Little Dragon from RWBY and to ensure a fair fight as always there will be no Aku Aku or Quantum Masks involved in this fight or any outside vehicles in this fight.
John: He's Ken & I'm John.
Ken: And it's our job to analyze their weapon, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.
Crash Bandicoot[]
John: Yup he's back again, in case if any of you forgot who Crash Bandicoot is, he was created by his arch-nemesis Dr.Neo Cortex who tried to use him to take over the world with the Evolv-O-Ray but when Cortex tried to brainwash the creature with the Cortex Vortex he ultimately failed to create his fear-some general and instead got his own arch-nemesis.
Ken: And thanks to being mutated he was able to gain some awesome strength, speed & durability. An example of his strength was him being able to throw a metal object so hard with good precision that it made the cage Aku Aku was in fall to the ground, not good enough for you? Well, another example was that his spin attack his is so strong that it has hurt Mr.Crumb who is a ghost.
John: Spooky! But there's more, he can throw Wumpa fruit so hard that it can damage mechs and he has also beaten baddies that were twice his size, other evil scientists like N.Tropy who has some attacks that bypass durability completely, he can double jump in midair, slide incredible distances, and of course use his favorite move the Cyclone Spin but this can leave him dizzy and open to counter-attacks and even give the move a boost for the death tornado technique which can let him glide.
Ken: In terms of speed he was fast enough to outrun boulders, giant polar bears, and even some triceratops but he really shines in durability being able to tank a massive explosion of 27 crates full of TNT which launched him on to a small floating ice piece and was completely fine, he can also tank over 100 wooden crates falling on him and also excessive electrocution, but let's not forget his reaction speed, he was quick enough to react to sound waves from giant speakers, fire from a flamethrower, lasers, and even gunfire. But some of these attacks were charge-up attacks but even then that's still very impressive. His stamina is also really impressive too since he very rarely shows himself being tired after a fight
John: Now, let's get to the good stuff the equipment. He has a Wumpa Bazooka which can constantly shoot Wumpa fruit with enough force to damage to hurt enemies like futuristic robots, and it can also shoot out rockets if Crash wants to. A yo-yo which can allow him to ensnare enemies or even damage them like the time he damaged a music-like battle suit robot controlled by his arch-rival Fake Crash. He also has a jet-pack and copter-pack too.
Ken: Even with all of this stuff he isn't perfect, due to his immaturity it's really easy for him to walk into traps without fully thinking so sure he isn't perfect but time and time again he proves to be the hero the Earth needs.
Crash: "WHOA!"
Yang Xiao Long[]
Ken: After losing her mother at a young age and being trained and raised by her uncle Qrow, Yang Xiao Long was accepted into Beacon Academy where she was a member of team RWBY which is lead by her younger sister: Ruby.
John: Because that's not confusing at all. Anyway, Yang is unique unlike her teammates because she is more physical based which include punching & kicking, and see those gauntlets? Those aren't normal gauntlets people, they extend to form a weapon called the Ember Celica which are basically shotgun-like gauntlets.
Ken: But after a certain incident which involved Blake's ex-boyfriend Adam Taurus her arm was sliced off and was later replaced with a cybernetic arm, don't worry she got her revenge later. Cybernetic Arm aside for now Yang is easily the most impressive member, she was able to obliterate a robot after tanking just two attacks thanks to her semblance which is being able to absorb attacks and send them back. She was able to beat an entire gang single handedly, fought beowolves for a whole day without rest and was able to hit some random person with her ENTIRE MOTORCYCLE with 1 hand!!!
John: WHAT?! THAT'S CRAZY!!! Not crazy enough for you though? Then how about the time she punched a car end over end, or the time she punched a floor so hard it EXPLODED, still not crazy for you then how about the time she punched a bandit so hard, the bandit bounced around the shop.
Ken: Excitement of that aside let's get to the best part about Yang: her semblance. Her semblance is called Burn which basically powers her up in both speed & attack wise. Her speed is comparable to Blake who can run on walls briefly & dodged a Sea Dragon's lightning breath putting her at Hypersonic Speeds.
John: Now on to the Cybernetic Arm & her durability, her cybernetic arm was durable enough to tank attacks from Blake's Crazy Ex, but she's durable herself too she got hit so hard that she crashed and flew through the ceiling, then a few seconds later crashed back down into the same lunch room and then stood right back up like it was nothing or the one time she was thrown into a brick wall smashing it.
Ken: Well those are just some examples, but of course she does have her faults like she has an extremely short temper which was the reason her arm was sliced off in the first place, she really likes her hair too much as a bonus so if you see a strand fall in front of her, let's just say you made a huge mistake.
John: Getting back to weaknesses, she can be a bit hard-headed and cocky and after the arm slicing incident before it was, she overly relied on her semblance but now she eventually learned to not constantly use her semblance and instead use it as a last resort or when the time is right. Also her aura does have limits, an example of that would be in extreme temperatures and also the more damage she takes the more likely her aura would drop and her anger also makes her a bit more predictable to more experienced opponents. But still, this is one chick I would not anger.
Yang: I always kick my semester off with a Yang!!!
Pre-Death Battle[]
Ken: Alright the combatants are set, let's end this debate once & FOR ALL!!!
John: IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLE!!!
Death Battle![]
Somewhere in a town, Yang Xiao Long is heading to a gym to work out on increasing her physicality on her motorcycle the bumblebee and gain a free life-time membership, but behind her is a 3-wheeled orange car driven by Crash Bandicoot who pulls out his Fruit Bazooka and launches a wumpa fruit at Bumblebee, destroying it then sending Yang Xiao Long a few feet from where the explosion of her bike was. Then the bandicoot who is still silhouetted starts driving, but Yang fires a bullet at Crash's trikee destroying it but this doesn't stop as the bandicoot survived the explosion and then walks out of the smoke unharmed and he throws the steering wheel to the side then gets in a fighting pose.
Crash: Trying to get that life-time membership eh, mate? Sorry but it's mine.
After hearing what the bandicoot said, Yang herself got into a fighting pose and is ready to fight for the life-time membership.
Yang: We'll see about that, you're going out with a Yang.
FIGHT!!
Both combatants charge at each other trading blows with their fists for a bit, before Yang switches her Ember Celicas to shotgun mode and starts firing at the bandicoot but Crash starts dodging the bullets while closing in on Yang, then the bandicoot delivers some quick blows to Yang's belly which ended up pushing her back. The blonde fighter then retaliates by delivering some punches back to the bandicoot, sending him face first into a wall but the bandicoot quickly got back up and started rushing towards Yang delivering a series of counter attacks knocking her back into a brick wall.
Crash: Impressed?
Yang: A bit, but I'm just warming up.
Yang begins to charge at Crash again, but Crash pulls out his Fruit Bazooka and starts firing at Yang but the blonde bombshell is dodging the shots left and right before jumping in the air and is getting ready to destroy the ground with a punch but Crash notices this and jumps to the side but some of the debris hits him in the face. Crash then retaliates by attacking Yang with the Death Tornado Spin but Yang uses her forearms to defend herself against the rapid spinning attack then counters by sending Crash high into the air, giving Crash an idea and automatically goes into his belly flop pose, but Yang prepares herself and slowly takes a step back to have Crash fall face first onto the concrete, Crash then slowly gets up but quickly realized that Yang's hair was standing up, her eyes turning red meaning that Yang has activated her semblance.
Yang: Now it's time to get serious.
Crash: Fine with me, mate. Let's finish this!!!
Both combatants then charge at each other constantly delivering blows with both of their hands but Crash is slowly showing signs of tiredness leaving Yang the opening she was waiting for. Yang then proceeds to deliver a really big beatdown on the bandicoot without giving Crash a chance to fight back and then proceeds to launch the bandicoot into his own bike, destroying it in the process. Crash gets up and is now furious that his motorcycle is destroyed, and only says a few words to show how furious he is.
Crash: And now... it's personal mate.
Yang: Now what would you think it wasn't- *notices a small piece of her hair fall onto the ground* oh... it's personal alright.
Both Crash & Yang then clash again trading blows again but Yang knocked Crash into a circle of sticky grenades that Yang left earlier exploding around the bandicoot causing the bandicoot to scream in pain before evaporating into dust leaving Yang to say only a few things
Yang: Nailed it, and I told you that you were going out with a YANG!!!

Results[]
John: Well I'm gonna go hide from Haters now.
Ken: Ok then, but can we explain why that happened first?
John: Fine with me. This was possibly the closest fight ever in the history of the Death Battle fanon history and I'm not kidding so before you ask how, please hear us out on this alright?
Ken: Crash and Yang were pretty evenly matched in a lot of things but unfortunately for Crash, Yang had a few things in her favor that allowed her to take the dub.
John: First off Crash was definitely strong at first but once he landed an attack on Yang she was basically the stronger combatant in a fight, and not to mention once she activates her Burn it grants her a double, triple, or quadruple boost in power. In terms of speed Yang definitely had an advantage since she can be compared to her friends and fellow team-mates like Blake who was able to dodge missiles and was able to dodge the Sea Feilong's lightning which given the appropriate estimates was around Mach 254 and Yang was also able to keep with the Ace Ops.
Ken: Crash on the other hand was able to pilot vehicles that were able to also dodge lightning and keep up with Oxide's hovercraft which was Mach 1587, but since we said there would be no feats with vehicles feats in this fight meaning that his best speed feats are dodging bullets from a Tommy gun, a blunderbuss, lasers and even some lighting attacks from... Voodoo Enemies? Eh I guess they'll turn anything into a Crash enemy these days.
John: Don't blame you for thinking that, but ultimately it came down to one important question: "Could Yang's Aura and Semblance overcome Crash's amazing durability?"
Ken: And to answer this would be in one simple word: Yes. Sure both Crash and Yang have taken down baddies bigger than them, however when it came to analyzing the enemies they fought Yang won in that area as she has tanked attacks from opponents far stronger than her and won meaning that Crash had no chance of taking Yang down for good.
John: I guess you can say Crash was really BURNED out.
The winner is Yang Xiao Long.
