X-Men vs Metal Gear Rising! War is one of the earliest struggles humankind has ever faced. Man vs man. Man vs monster. Man vs self. Man vs nature. The list goes on, but it all starts with humanity. Some seek to change that however, whether it be for their own benefit or for others. Building a stronger world could truly control this constant, and make it something we could manipulate at our own fingertips. But not every will agree with this, and so, the war between ideologies commences. A man hated for his birth-given powers trying to end war for a better world, against a man given powerful enhancements trying to make war a weapon for a new world. Who will win between these two nigh-indestructible war-affiliated powerhouses? Will Colossus unite the world with the defeat of Armstrong and his cybernetic army? Or will Armstrong fulfill his dream at the cost of mutantkind and the rest of the world?

Interlude[]

Boomstick: The world is constantly changing. Nations constantly at war, with no sign of it ending any time soon.

Wiz: But man has attempted time and time again to change this viscous cycle. Has it ever truly worked though?

Boomstick: Well, you can’t just stop violence, whether you like it or not, it’s a human constant. And with humans being humans, some people have differing views on how we should deal with this violence.

Wiz: Like the Russian muscle of the X-Men, Colossus.

Boomstick: And the pure-blooded American veteran, Senator Armstrong.

Wiz: These differences are what makes us human. But these issues can affect some people who are beyond the normal limits of humanity, something…different.

Boomstick: He’s Wiz and I’m Boomstick!

Wiz: And it’s our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win…a Death Battle.
