Description[]
These two spiked-hair swordsmen with huge, broken swords go head-to-head! (Or sword-to-sword in this case.)
Interlude[]
(Cues: Wiz and Boomstick)
Boomstick: Way back in 3300 BC, Ancient Egyptians got the idea to invent something that was eerily similar to a p**** and then it was just called swords.
Wiz: Boomstick!
Boomstick: What? They do look like p****es. Excuse me if I'm speaking the truth. ***hole.
Wiz: Ugh! Anyways, these two anime swordsmen really take swordfighting to a another level.
Boomstick: Ragna, the "grim reaper".
Wiz: And Cloud Strife, the guardian of the lifestream.
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.

Fan-made Score[]
The track for this fight is "Final Calamity" by Brandon Yates. It is a dark and epic primarily rock with hints of orchestra and electronic drums.
The title references the name of the combatants' video games they debuted in (Final Fantasy VII and BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger). The track also references how they're fighting world-destroying threats in the plots of their games.
The cover image features Cloud and Ragna's swords, the Buster Sword and the Aramasa, clashing in a cinematic shot. Behind the two swords, is a green meteor from the Final Fantasy VII video game and Ragna's glove holding the meteor while activating the Azure Grimoire.
(Thanks to SoMaShadow for the name idea and to Y3p owo for half of the image.)
