Total Drama vs Danganronpa! Money can either be used for good or evil and these two show both sides of the opposing sides. Which wealthy character from a deadly survival game will buy themselves some sweet victory?
Intro[]
Wiz: Chris McLean, the sadistic host of Total Drama.
Boomstick: Sonia Nevermind, Class 77B's Ultimate Princess of Danganronpa. Why did I agree to making this a thing?
Wiz: These two rich combatants use their wealth for completely different reasons but we'll see if using it for good is better or it using it for villainous acts makes them far more superior in a fight.
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weaponry, armour and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle!

Wiz: If you've ever watched the TV series Survivor, you'd probably figure out that Total Drama has the exact same way the show works.
Boomstick: Except instead of fully grown adults competing in challenges in order to save themselves from being eliminated, it's a bunch of teenagers doing it.
Wiz: However, the host of this show is not your typical Jeff Probst. His actions and rules for his show are far more dangerous than what you see in Survivor.
Boomstick: Total Drama is hosted by one of, if not, the most diabolical TV celebrities out there. The host with the most himself, Chris McLean.

Wiz: Now Chris doesn't really have much of a background but one thing's for certain, he only has one goal on his mind: to become the most successful man on TV.
Boomstick: And his way of doing this, he tries to reach this goal by almost killing a bunch of teenagers. Just imagine Chris of all people as the host of Squid Game. Things are gonna go downhill really f*cking fast for all 456 contestants there.
Wiz: Let me point this out real quick, that smile of his is not a friendly one at all. Don't think winning Total Drama is gonna be easy because he's gonna make things as difficult and brutal as possible just for his amusement.
Boomstick: Trust us. This man's smile isn't as pleasant as it seems. Even so, this guy just seems like nothing more but a completely average middle aged man.
Wiz: Surprisingly, that's not entirely the case. Chris has a lot of arsenal to back him up.

Wiz: Yep. Chris' most notable items would easily be explosives, particularly dynamite which have been used to blow a yacht which took about 49 megajoules to destroy. However, when he gets into physical combat he equips his boxing gloves which are...well, not that interesting.
Boomstick: What's really interesting is that he wields a water gun but wait for it. The water is literally strong enough to push a fully grown adult extremely far from its user. Good way to keep everyone social distancing during these screwed up times.
Wiz: With his Meatball Cannon, Chris can trap his foes in a gigantic ball of meat which is sticky enough to keep them still until they finally break free.
Boomstick: It's gonna take a while to get out though. Chris even trolled the remaining contestants of Total Drama Action into thinking he was actually dead. However, it turns out that it was just a fake rubber statue of a deceased version of him. Well played.
Wiz: The seagull machine gun fires many seagulls which travel fast enough to gain enough strength to knock down his targets with some medium difficulty.
Boomstick: That's not all. His Tennis Menace is a robotic tennis ball launcher which is stated to be the world's toughest tennis launcher which servers tennis balls at his foes with a lot of strength...and that's it. Oh yeah. He has a normal paintball gun too but what really stands out from the rest of Chris' arsenal is his army of robot doppelgangers.
Wiz: The Robot Chris army may all look exactly like Chris himself but it's easy to tell it's not him once their eyes turn red. Though, they all may have been easily destroyed by Shaun before they could pull an attack on him or his friends.
Boomstick: Too bad those Chris Bots easily got their asses kicked by Shawn. Good thing that no regular human would be smart enough to take on the Total Drama Machine...guess he couldn't think of a better name for that one.
Wiz: While we don't get much of the Total Drama Machine but it's a gigantic robot taller than a regular sized building. Again, not much is shown but it did seem to have destroyed some random kid's house.
Boomstick: That doesn't matter since he's pretty tough even without any of his items. After all, Chris fought off Ezekiel at the top of a Hawaiian volcano before he could be the one to fall into the lava. Plus, he caused a bear to break free from Ella's singing manipulation.
Wiz: Surprisingly enough, Chris has shown to react to lasers, can hack into the PA system of Area 51 and can lift and throw a fully grown human.
Boomstick: He was also strong enough to knock out Owen with a frying pan twice, stood near a plane explosion which he and a few remaining contestants survived and even took some hits from Eva and even Chef.

Wiz: The things that really make Chris not all that great is that he's not much of a fighter and is better at manipulating others rather than getting into hand to hand combat with them. He also worries too much about his looks and is practically a coward.
Boomstick: All it took for Chef to take down Chris was just a single punch to the face and he had to rely on others to set him free after being kidnapped by Ezekiel.
Wiz: With the views for Total Drama continuously rising, Chris still tries to become reality TV's most successful host by doing what he does best.
Boomstick: By starting the one thing Squid Game is known best for: creating deadly challenges. This grinning monster for a human rarely shows any mercy to his foes.
Sonia Nevermind[]
Wiz: Located in the middle of Japan is none other than Hope's Peak Academy, the school where the Ultimates of what they do attend.
Boomstick: Trust me. This isn't one of those schools where you can just enroll in. It was for all of those deserving and were believed to have a good future in the things these students.
Wiz: While there were Ultimate Baseball Stars, Ultimate Mechanics and even two Ultimate Lucky Students, Class 77B ended up being the class with a royal student. The royal I'm talking about is the Ultimate Princess, Sonia Nevermind.
Boomstick: The Ulimate Princess? More like the Ultimate Nirvana Reference. I'm not kidding. Her last name and the name of her kingdom are associated with Nirvana.
Wiz: That's...actually true. Sonia's last name is in fact named after the band's first album while the name of her kingdom came from the last name of Nirvana's bassist Krist Novoselic. Anyways, before travelling to Japan Sonia lived in the Kingdom of Novoselic. As you could guess, her life was comfortable yet pretty sheltered.
Boomstick: Not to mention that she was lonely since she didn't have any friends equal to her. Sonia did eventually travel to Japan and attended Utero School to study the country's culture when she started to get interested in it.

Boomstick: Wait! Really? Awesome! Now we're talking!
Wiz: I'm not making it up. Somehow, Sonia has access and experience with using rocket launchers, tanks, RPGs and all of the gunfire and explosives you can think of. Plus, she was able to survive a massive destruction caused by Nekomaru Nidai which would've been 58.89 kilotons.
Boomstick: Guess there really is something good out of being the Ultimate Princess after all.

Wiz: But that doesn't change her lack of killer instinct and the fact that she rarely gets into any physical combat. However, she does make up for it with her incredible intelligence.
Boomstick: I mean, Sonia is capable of leading her entire country and knows most languages across the Earth. Overall, she's a exceptional scholar. Though none of that came to use when she, along with the rest of Class 77B, were brainwashed by Junko into becoming one of the Remnants of Despair.
Wiz: Much like Junko herself, this caused Class 77B, excluding Chiaki who was killed in order to have them brainwashed, to have the same obsession of despair much like the Ultimate Despair herself.
Boomstick: Regardless of the brainwashing, they were still aware of their actions and knew about it but their desire to see all of the human race in despair had an effect and made a change to how they usually are.
Wiz: During the "graduation" before contributing to The Tragedy, Sonia, her classmates and the class' teacher Chisa Yukizome survived the explosion of Hope's Peak Academy unharmed.
Boomstick: Not only that it was implied that after that, she used Novoselic's weaponry to trigger a nuclear war that literally destroyed the entire country. That is some pretty messed up sh*t to start.
Wiz: If that isn't even to prove that Corrupted Sonia is more deadly than her usual self, then the fact that she'll get her army to do her bidding and that she owns an armored car would say other wise. She even has access to a flying machine gun made by the Ultimate Mechanic Kazuichi Soda.
Boomstick: Aka, the guy with the most ridiculous last name in all of Danganronpa and the biggest simp for Sonia. I'm not kidding about the last part. This guy is a literal stalker.

Wiz: As mentioned before, Sonia's biggest weakness is that she would be considered very weak fighter in terms of hand of hand combat. Makes sense considering she is a princess. Plus, she would be really sympathetic for those who are in serious pain. This could possibly let her guard down and despite being fairly intelligent, Sonia has shown to being close to being manipulated and almost tricked before.
Boomstick: While Sonia doesn't really like people such as Monomi, Nagito, or even Kazuichi for that matter, she doesn't show her hatred to them at all and acts very kindly towards them and without any weaponry or her army to help her in a battle against someone with more physical power over her, she's practically got no way of defending herself.
Wiz: But even if those weaknesses won't help her, she still does her best to keep her title as the Ultimate Princess no matter the cost.
Intermission[]
Wiz: Alright! The combatants are set and we've run the data through all possibilities!
Boomstick: IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLE!!!
Death Battle[]
The sun slowly rose above an abandoned film set, the same one where the new season of Total Drama was taking place. The show’s host Chris McLean was setting up the cameras for the next episode of Total Drama and he had just finished doing so.
Chris: Alright! Everything's set for the next challenge. Time to wake up the campers. Can't wait to see the look on their face when-
To his surprise, Chris hears a crashing noise from behind him right after walking from the set. He turns around and sees that some of his cameras have fallen down, smashed on the ground.
(Music Stops)
Chris: My cameras!
Chris looks around for who destroyed the cameras. He then finds out that the one who did it. The victim of this was none other than Sonia Nevermind. All Sonia could do was stare at him in fear.
(Danganronpa 3: Bli Bli Buchibuchi)
Chris: Hey! You just destroyed some valuable pieces of equipment here.
Sonia: I-I swear it was an accident. I didn't mean it. I'm sorry.
Chris was not letting that slide though.
Chris: I'd also like to point out that we don't like having any intruders here whilst we're filming my show. I'm not the kind of guy that's okay with anyone who comes by and ruins my show. I think it's time for you to get out and I'll be happy to do it my way.
Sonia: Well as the princess of my country, it'll be my honor-
Chris: Hang on a sec! Princess…of your country?!
Sonia: That’s correct.
(Music Fades)
Chris then takes out his phone and searches up ‘List of Princesses’. No doubt that he sees Sonia there. He then puts it away, showing a smile that symbolizes a psychopatic idea in his mind.
Chris: I guess you weren’t kidding, Miss Nevermind. Well I guess you could say it’s your turn for an execution after the trouble you’ve caused.
Chris grabs out a single stick of dynamite already lit up and tosses it at Sonia who quickly dodges it. Running towards her at superhuman speeds, he then grabs Sonia’s blonde hair and throws her on the ground before tossing her across the film set. The princess surprisingly lands safely on her feet at the Walk of Shame. She lets out a sigh knowing that she’s going to have to put her kindness aside and defend herself.
Sonia: This is not how I wanted to start my morning at all.
Before Chris could throw a punch, Sonia grabs his wrist before giving him a knee to the stomach which would then be followed up with a punch to the face. After this, Sonia swings Chris to the other side and slams him on to the concreted floor. Chris slowly gets up despite the pain he felt after the impact.
Chris: Not cool, Princess.
Chris wastes no time and takes out his baseball bat and swings it towards his foe who quickly slides out of the way, surprising him. Chris goes for a hit again but Sonia dodges yet again. Chris then immediately takes countless swings yet Sonia continues to dodge until Chris eventually lands a few hits. To the sadistic host's surprise, Sonia grabs out an RPG and fires away. Chris jumps and runs behind a building, hoping he doesn't end up getting shot.
Sonia: Perhaps you underestimate me. I've succeeded in military combat you know?
Next to him however was his Seagull Machine Gun. Chris steps back into Sonia's vision and fires as many rubber seagulls as the gun contained. Bullets and seagulls were flying across the film set. At last, Sonia lands a bullet into Chris who was now bleeding in the arm. At the same time, Sonia takes a rubber seagull to the head which makes her fall on her back and drop the RPG. It no longer mattered once Sonia takes out a rocket launcher and fires away. The missile soon hits two of the building props which eventually come falling down. As the smoke clears, Chris was seen laying dead on the floor. All Sonia could do was look at the corpse in horror, her hands covering her mouth.
Sonia: My goodness! What have I done?! I'm so sorry!
Chris: (off-screen) Ha! Got you good! Knew that fake body would fool you.
(Danganronpa 3- Invitation to Despair)
Chris pops out out of nowhere, alive and completely fine minus the bleeding arm. He proceeds to pick up the dead Chris dummy and toss it to the side. He then stands still with his hands behind his back as the area slightly shook. Behind Chris was none other than his very own robotic clones which took Sonia by surprise.
Chris: Alright me bots! Your task is to kill Sonia Nevermind who is standing in front of you!
With their commands given, the Chris Bots slowly surround Sonia and start apporaching her like mindless zombies repeating the two words "Total" and "Drama" over and over. Sonia grabs two of the Chris Bots and clashes their heads together, causing them to break down. She then proceeds to throw one of them towards a few others which also begins to malfunction. She then starts spinning the other around with some nearby Chris Bots also getting broken in the process. Eventually, the robot which Sonia had a hold of finally broke into pieces.
Sonia did unfortunately leave herself vulnerable enough for the many remaining Chris Bots to throw some punches, two of them grabbing ahold of her arms so she couldn't throw any more attacks to defend herself. While continuously getting hurt, the real Chris is seen flying above in a jetpack.
Chris: Now this is entertainment! Guess all hope is lost now Miss Nevermind. Not that it's my problem anyways.
(Music Fades)
Chris begins to chuckle to himself as the Chris Bots continue with attacking Sonia in an attempt to kill her. Unfortunately, something could be heard in the distance. Almost like something else was flying across the air.
Appearing above the abandoned film set was a flying machine gun which began firing at all of the Chris Bots, blowing up in front of Sonia who fell backwards, free from the robotic army's wrath.
Sonia: Bow down McLean or you shall continue to face the wrath of Novoselic!
Chris: Wait a sec? Your country is named after a member of Nirvana-
A bullet from the machine gun fired at Chris who had just dodged at the right time. Another had been fired as Chris dodged a second time, causing him to get irritated but not for the reason Sonia thinks.
Chris: Woah! Watch the looks!
The machine gun starts chasing Chris around, firing bullets continuously. Not wanting another bullet hiting him, Chris did his best to avoid the flying weapon. Eventually, the machine gun hits one of the rockets on Chris' jetpack causing it to go haywire. Chris tries to gain control of the jetpack but doesn't succeed as it quickly aims for the ground. During the impact, the jetpack explodes and sends Chris spinning in midair before smacking down on the ground face first. Chris slowly gets up just in time for Sonia to stand face to face with him, a not so charming look being seen on her face.
(Music Fades)
Chris: Okay. Maybe that wasn't my greatest task but it was still worth it.
Sonia: Silence, maniac! It's over. Give up your antics.
Chris: Over?
The sadistic TV host slowly chuckles under his breath as Sonia continues to frown at him before giving a confused look as slow and faint shakes began to occur.
Chris: You think that was the last of it?! You've still got one final challenge to succeed. I mean, I'm still standing tall you know?
The shaking continues to grow progressively faster and louder as Chris gives the princess a menacing smile.
Chris: Sonia Nevermind...no Prince Charming is here to save you! You've got one very last challenge! That being to ultimately defeat me but I'm not making it easy in any way.
Fearing for her own life with a singular drop of sweat falling from her face, Sonia commands her machine gun to fire away from behind her foe but her plan came to a halt as a giant robotic claw grabbed the flying machine gun, crushing it into tiny pieces.
The claw belonged to none other than Chris' very own Total Drama Machine.
Chris: Total Drama Machine, get to work and anniliate the girl!
The Total Drama Machine slowly started chasing its target. As the princess began running from the terrors, Chris begins laughing like the complete psychopath he truly is. Breathing heavily, Sonia continues to run away before getting blocked off by some building props, resulting in her taking an alternative path.
Sonia: Gotta get to a safespot right away and fast.
Eventually, Sonia would make her way to the alien movie set. She came to a halt to catch her breath after running for a while. Something would then catch her eye: a pile of bullet proof vests. Sonia grabs one and puts it on before making her way out of the set which would soon be crushed by the Total Drama Machine. While continuing to run, Sonia spots a bag containing an RPG and a rocket launcher and immediately grabs both. She would soon have to come to a stop once even more ChrisBots came crashing out of some of the film lot's studios. Behind the robots was the real Chris, giving the princess a sinister grin.
Sonia: Well you know what they say? Strike first and strike hard.
Sonia immediately fired bullets from her RPG which hit some nearby ChrisBots, causing them to fall and shut down. With every bullet, one robot after another were shot down. At last, the RPG had no more bullets remaining and there were still ChrisBots progressively making their way to her chanting "Total Drama" repeatidly. All she knew was that the gigantic enemy had to be destroyed eventually so she dropped the gun in exchange of grabbing the rocket launcher. Her idea was put to a stop when the Host with the Most finally got himself involved in the battle again by punching her in the face while having some boxing gloves equipped.
Chris: Never said I couldn't still fight myself.
Worn about from the running and fighting, Sonia slowly tried throwing some punches herself but Chris was able to dodge and continue to attack. Chris would then pull his right arm back and give Sonia a hook-punch hard enough for her to start coughing up blood that was...pink (or at least that's what the viewer would see). That wasn't it though. Chris would soon take a nearby bowling ball and throw it into her left knee, causing the princess to scream in agony.
Chris: Strike!
After all of the pain she's been feeling since the start of this fight, Sonia finally lets her exhaustion get the better of her and kneels on her undamaged knee. With that, she coughs up some more blood which hits the ground.
Sonia: I feel so shameful of my own failure.
From behind, one of the robots accidentally grab the rocket launcher's trigger. It not only sends many of them flying back and break them apart after getting stuck down by the only rocket it had, it even hits the centre of the Total Drama Machine which begins to let some sparks fly out before spinning around countless times.
(Music Changes)
Chris: Oh that's not cool.
Chris notices this and begins sprinting away with Sonia slowly limping behind. Not wanting any evidence of their conflict behind, Chris tosses three bombs towards some of the nearby film sets he was positive on likely not using for the rest of the season of his show. He then takes a small remote with only one red button on it and presses his thumb down on it, causing the bombs to activate. With Sonia making her way towards him, Chris proceeds to push her back just in time for the cliff prop as well as a few bigger props to crash on top. The props however didn't kill her but had her trapped underneath.
Chris: Sorry Ms. Nevermind. Can't have my reputation ruined this way. However, it seems you have lost the challenge and it seems like elimination is about to make its way and it seems a lot worse than taking a trip down the Walk of Shame.
The chuckle from Chris would soon be the last thing Sonia would hear and the incoming Total Drama Machine would be the last thing she would see before it landed right on top, crushing her under it's flat metallic body.
(Music Stops)
Blood started running from underneath the robot with Sonia's red shoes floating above. The Princess of Novoselic was now dead. Chris stands there and looks at his now deceased opponent.
Chris: Not really how I expected the fight to end but at least no one else here knows since there were no cameras recording.
The area was now silent with Chris looking at the damaged film lot with a concerned look.
Chris: So now I've got to come up with an excuse about the mess here.

Boomstick: What a wicked punishment! Monokuma and Junko should really take notes from this. I did come up with a great pun if Sonia had this in the bag but Nevermind.
Wiz: Surprisingly enough, this was a close one to call. However, it seems like Chris had more edges over Sonia.
Boomstick: It's a big downfall if you don't have any feats in strength when you're going up against someone who can throw fully grown humans and knock out someone as big as Owen who took one hell of a fall from a cliff, there isn't a lot to say here.
Wiz: Chris was also faster due to dodging lasers and boarding up a room in seconds and could react a lot faster. Now there were mainly two debatable categories, one of them being intelligence.
Boomstick: Chris is incredibly smart espeically in terms of his skills in hacking but it wouldn't be that simple. Sonia is an exceptional scholar which makes her smart in some way. Regardless, it's fair to say that she was ever so slightly smarter. That wouldn't help her against Chris' manipulation considering she seems to be easy to trick.
Wiz: Needless to say that Sonia did have an advantage in having much better weaponry and at least having some form of training in combat. Most of Chris' arsenal probably wouldn't have been something for quick kills.
Boomstick: It would take a lot of patience to kill someone with some rubber seagulls and tennis balls.
Wiz: However, they were a lot more unpredictable for someone like Sonia who's main weaponry were basic military weapons but the other debatable stat wasn't arsenal but more so durability.
Boomstick: Sonia did survive two explosions unharmed, somehow, but that's the best she gets out of this. Chris has taken hits from not just his own contestants but mostly from Chef who's comparable to both Izzy and Owen who tanked a plane falling on top of them and survived a few explosions themselves. Needless to say is that Chris should scale to Chef and at least a few of his own contestants.
Wiz: What really helped Chris here was his many ChrisBots and the Total Drama Machine. While yes, Sonia could have sent in her country's military to compete with her foe's army although she may not be able to get the chance to get any form of contact with them before the ChrisBots get the better of her.
Boomstick: There are countless amounts of robotic dopplegangers of Chris so once she runs out of bullets, there's going to be a chance where she'll be outnumbered. Might take them awhile for her army to arrive before she gets brutally eliminated.
Wiz: Chris is a mastermind and oftens plans ahead to give his victims a surprise. Not to mention that he has a far better killer instinct in comparison to Sonia who's more kind-hearted and often doesn't try to kill anyone. Well when we're not talking about her being brainwashed.
Boomstick: Sooner or later, it would be the end of the Ultimate Nirvana Reference.
Wiz: While Sonia had some advantages such as being smarter and having more deadlier weapons, which all of that sounds weird saying, Chris was stronger, faster, more tactical and had better experience in physical damage, making him safe from being eliminated from this challenge.
Boomstick: So what about these two not particularly being experienced in physical combat? This battle ended up being more Totally insane than I expected. I guess you could also say that Something Got In The Way of Sonia's chances of winning. Get it? The song "Something in the Way" by Nirvana?
Wiz: The winner is Chris McLean.
