History

Chompers are mutant Venus Flytraps grown and created by Crazy Dave, who has also created many other plants like the Peashooters and Sunflowers. Chompers enjoy feasting on Zombies and have a dog-like behavior and slobbish nature. It is quite capable of doing many things as basic as it looks, such as fighting in a crazy war against zombies from throughout time and space. 

Powers and Abilities

• Able to enlarge its mouth to swallow multiple and large objects.
• Can burrow through the ground to sneak up and ambush enemies.
  • The Sprint Burrow is a much faster version of the normal burrow.
• Able to spit out four different types of Spikeweeds, which act as camouflaged traps.
  • Spikeweeds: Constrict, damage, and hold an enemy completely still. He can also spit them out as projectiles.
  • Spiky Spikeweeds: Deal much more damage than a normal Spikeweed.
  • Vampweeds: Heals the Chomper when an enemy is trapped in it.
  • Chesterweeds: Enemies trapped in it will be swallowed faster.
• Goop: Slows down enemies when splashed onto them.
  • Super Sticky Goop: A stronger version of the Goop and will completely immobilize an enemy on contact.
  • Grody Goop: Immobilizes and disarms enemies by covering them in a toxic cloud.
  • Cheesy Goop: Deals high damage.
• Plant Food is an edible substance that unleashes a plant's full power.
  • The Chomper will unleash a high intense wind that will pull everything in front of it straight into its mouth.
  • Burps will knock enemies away.
• Slobber Shot: A long ranged weapon where the Chomper fires its spit.
• Chomp Cannon: Charges up for a few seconds, then fires an exploding goop shot that does a lot of damage.

Variants

• Armor Chomper: The strongest and most durable class, however it is very slow.
• Hot Rod Chomper: The fastest Chomper and gets a speed boost when it swallows an enemy.
• Fire Chomper: Can breathe hot flames that will burn enemies.
• Toxic Chomper: Can spit toxins from its mouth that will do poison damage.
• Count Chompula: Regenerates health when swallowing an enemy.
• Chester Chomper: Can swallow enemies slightly faster.
• Chomp Thing: Has faster regeneration compared to the other Chompers.
• Power Chomper: Can spit up electricity that will link to other enemies for damage all around.
• Yeti Chomper: Shoots ice that will slow and freeze enemies.
• Disco Chomper: After swallowing five enemies, it gains a speed and attack boost for 30 seconds.
• Unicorn Chomper: Uses the power of Rainbow Warp, which basically teleports it across short distances
• Twilight Chomper: Uses the power of Twilight Warp, which is basically the same thing as Rainbow Warp but a further distance.

Feats

• Can easily kill zombies who have tanked thunderbolts.
  • Swallows them whole.
• With the Plant Food it can suck in and swallow an entire group of zombies instantly.
• Able to fight in a war without any eyes.
• Spikeweeds are strong enough to lift All-Star zombies and Engineer zombies, who has crushed a car with his weight.
• Comparable to the Bonk Choys who are strong enough to stop tanks and breaks boulders with their punches.
• Can kill Gargantuars who have tanked Doom Shroom explosions.
• Able to go up against Super Brainz who has punched Super Bean to another planet.
• Survived an explosion that could be seen from space.
• Survived the space-time continuum collapsing.

Weaknesses

• Needs several seconds to fully digest an enemy before attacking again.
• Can be stunned from sonic like weapons.
• While the Chomper does have long range abilities, it is mostly a close ranged fighter.
• Only three Spikeweeds can be placed down.
• Only two Spiky Spikeweeds can be placed down.
• Only two Vampweeds can be placed down.
• Only two Chesterweeds can be placed down.
