Wiz: Everybody wants to rule the world. No one could’ve described it better then Tears For Fears. The sadistic desire for power, control and to have everyone suffering beneath your heels
Boomstick: And not many people radiate that idea than these two psychopaths
Wiz: Like Chara Dreemurr, The Genocidal Force Of Evil
Boomstick: And Dio Brando, The Vampiric Time Stopper Bent On World Domination.
Wiz: I’m Wiz and he’s Boomstick
Boomstick: And it’s our job to analyze their weapons. armour and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.
Chara[]
Wiz: Long ago two races ruled the Earth, humans and monsters. Both lived together peacefully until one day they went to war.
Boomstick: The War was more of a one-sided massacre as countless monsters were slain with not a single human falling. Hey kinda like some of AceOfSpace3709’s death battles!
Wiz: Nonetheless with no hope left the remaining monsters surrendered and retreated underground beneath the summit of Mount Ebott where they were sealed there by seven human magicians.
Boomstick: Several years after the battle somewhere between 2010 and 2019, a child thought it would be a good idea to scale the mountain but unfortunately the kid was a klutz because as they entered through a cave they tripped and fell down a pit landing face flat in the underground. That child’s name was Chara.
(Popup: Chara’s gender has never been revealed and is regarded as ambiguous meaning for this episode Chara will be referred to by the pronouns: They/Them)
Wiz: Fortunately for Chara they were found by a young monster named Asriel who happened to be the prince of the royal Dreemur Family. Compassionate for the human, Asriel took them back to his home where they were adopted.
Boomstick: Asriel and Chara would remain close siblings as well as best friends for ages. It was even said that Chara’s very presence filled all the monsters trapped underground with hope.
Wiz: However one day Chara fell deathly ill and with their last request they asked Asriel to take their body outside the barrier and back to their village to see the flowers that grew there.
Boomstick: Also upon their request Asriel fused his soul with Chara’s becoming a powerful being controlled by the two siblings. The plan was going smoothly but once they arrived at the village the inhabitants mistook the fusion for killing the child and they immediately attacked it out of anger and fear.
Wiz: Despite having the power to kill them in one fell swoop, the fusion refused and just took the full offense of the humans resulting in it becoming fatally injured. With the last of its strength the fusion returned to the castle where it succumbed to it’s injuries killing both Chara and Asriel.
Boomstick: However after a few years another child fell down to the underground where this time they were found by Chara’s goat mom Toriel who happily put the deja vu kid under her wing.
Wiz: But this happiness would not last long as this fallen child hid an immense level of determination as well as a desire to become strong. The strength this kid emitted was so powerful it literally awakened Chara from death where they would slowly take over the kid’s body.
Boomstick: With a new body to call home Chara mercilessly slaughtered ever monster they could get their tiny hands on including their poor goat mom.
Wiz: Though they’re just a child, Chara is alarmingly skilled in terms of combat whether their wielding a frying pan, boxing gloves or just an ordinary stick but Their preferred weapon is the knife which can cut monsters to bits in just a single hit.
Boomstick: For defense Chara wears their signature heart shaped locket which allows her to tank almost any damage coming their way and if they do take damage they can easily heal up with several snacks such as butterscotch pie, Legendary sandwiches and even Dreams!
Wiz: But Chara’s most powerful weapon is their save file. With this they can resurrect themselves from the dead and they can even manipulate the very timeline of the universe they’re in.
Boomstick: Woah so you’re saying the universe is just one big game to them?
Wiz: Pretty much. With the save file Chara can reset, create as well as erase timelines at a whim.
Boomstick: Dang I wish life was that easy. As we’ve already mention Chara is far from a normal child as they’re strong enough to contend with Undyne who can suplex boulders, Fast enough to dodge literal sound and tough enough to continue fighting after having their soul destroyed.
Wiz: Chara was also strong enough to slaughter some of the toughest monsters in the underground like Papyrus, Mettaton, Asgore Dreemurr and Sans not to mention their presence was so menacing that they made Flowey, an evil flower that’s incapable of feeling emotion, cry for his life. That is insane.
Boomstick: As impressive as they are Chara is not perfect. Their existence is reliant on the desire to get stronger and their save file can be destroyed or sabotaged by beings possessing the same abilities.
Wiz: but despite their flaws. In the end Chara succeeded in their plan. They were able to cause a monster genocide, surpass Frisk and were able to become an abstract force that now permanently resides in the reality that is Undertale.
“You must have misunderstood”
Chara’s eyes widen
“SINCE WHEN WERE YOU THE ONE IN CONTROL?!”
Chara charges at Frisk laughing maniacally before ultimately killing them.
Dio Brando[]
Wiz: Born on the gutters of 18th century England, Dio Brando was bound for a tough life. He was the only child to an abusive father and a deceased overworked mother.
Boomstick: Not to mention his father Dario was also an alcoholic who’d punish his son by throwing booze bottles at him for the most petty reasons. Hey I feel you buddy, my daddy Boomstick used to do the exact same thing when I was a kid. Except instead of whisky bottles he’d shoot shotgun bullets at me.
Wiz: Years of this abuse caused Dio to develop a deep hatred for his father to the point of poisoning him. But little did Dio know, on his father’s deathbed Dario revealed to him that he had a debt that was yet to be paid.
Boomstick: Yeah it turns out that a long time ago Dario came across a crashed horse carriage and decided to scavenge for some easy loot, as he was investigating he came across one of the survivors, George Joestar who turned out to be pretty gullible as Daddy Brando was able to convince George that he was actually saving and not robbing him. Despite just taking the latter’s ring.
Wiz: Because of this Misunderstanding George took in Dio as his adoptive son to honor his fallen “savior”. Once apart of the Joestar Family Dio took it upon himself to steal their fortune but wasn’t gonna be able to do it considering that his adoptive brother Jonathan Joestar stood in his way.
Boomstick: And in just a short time Dio made Jonathan’s life hell. he socially isolated him, brutally pummeled him, stole a first kiss from his girl and locked his dog in an incinerator. Despite his name literally meaning God, Dio was the complete devil.
Wiz: But after seven years Dio changed his approach and acted more amiable and brotherly to Jonathan in order to calm any suspicion towards him but this wouldn’t last long as Jonathan became distrustful of Dio once his dad got sick with symptoms strikingly similar to Dario’s.
Boomstick: While Johnny went investigating Dio found a neat stone mask that stabbed it’s wearer whenever blood made contact with it. Mistaking this for some sort of torture device he decided to test it out on a random drunk guy but to his shock the mask didn’t kill him but instead-
Wiz: It turned him into a creature of the night, a vampire. Barely making it out of the encounter Dio decided to take the mask’s power for himself, throwing away his humanity in the process.
Boomstick: As a Vampire he had super strength, surface scaling, hypnosis, can drain blood through his finger tips, freeze enemies solid and can fire cool lasers from his eyes!
Wiz: Dio could also fuse beings together, heal from almost any wound, mind control people and can turn them into zombies by inserting his essence into their systems.
Boomstick: EEEEWWW! That’s disgusting!
Wiz: But after a Climatic final battle with Jonathan, Dio was defeated and reduced to a disembodied head. Seeking vengeance Dio crashed a cruise ship party being Jonathan’s honeymoon
Boomstick: And what was Dio’s wedding gift you may ask? Why it was fusing his head to the groom’s body! Aw bro you shouldn’t have!
Wiz: Unfortunately for Dio, Jonathan sacrificed himself by exploding the ship they were on locking him down underwater. but a century later Dio’s watery grave was found and opened where he’d then escape to travel the world and eventually set up shop in Egypt.
Boomstick: However due to wearing a new body most of Dio’s powers were greatly suppressed. But after getting shot by a strange arrow. Dio developed a power that would put the rest of his former abilities to shame.
Wiz: Dio would obtain a stand called The World. A Non-Corporeal being generated by Dio’s life force which he can summon and control at will.
(Popup: Stands are both invisible and intangible in the outside world. Only other stand users and even ghosts can touch and see stands.)
Boomstick: Like it’s user The World is very strong and fast. It can fly, phase through people and make donuts out of them but it’s most well known ability is the power to Stop Time!
Wiz: With The World Dio can completely stop time for a duration of 9 seconds, while using the ability he can’t be seen or heard by anyone and he’s free to do almost anything he wishes.
Boomstick: Despite Za Warudo’s incredible powers it performs poorly when it comes to range. The World can only stay within a few meters away from Dio, any distance further than 10 meters will render it useless. No pun intended.
Wiz: But luckily Dio found a way to make up for it as he possesses a large array of throwing knives that he can easily create a barrage out of.
Boomstick: But If Dio finds God or absorbs a lot of souls he’ll take on an almighty form called Heaven Ascension.
Wiz: With The World Over Heaven Dio can rewrite reality in anyway he chooses excluding his range. He can create pocket dimensions, steal souls, bestow power onto overs, travel dimensions and can even distort fate itself with just the World’s hands.
Boomstick: Yeah Dio has accomplished many impressive things in his 100 year life. He’s strong enough to lift a 60 ton steamroller, fast enough to blitz the stand Silver Chariot which can intercept beams of light and is durable enough to potentially regenerate from being blown to pieces.
(Popup: Considering that The World is the same type of of stand as another called Star Platinum this would mean The World could likely replicate some of the latter’s strength feats as Star Platinum was capable of lifting a giant diamond tooth weighing 140 tons and was once able to yank a dangling car over a cliff)
Wiz: Dio is also a charismatic genius as he was able to sway dozens of people to be his agents. He single handedly defeated the likes of Noriaki Kakyoin, Jean Pierre Polnareff and Joseph Joestar and even orchestrated the reset of the entire JoJo Universe!
Boomstick: Even though he kinda lost most of his previous abilities Italian God is still very much a vampire as he will disintegrate if he’s exposed to sunlight or violet rays.
Wiz: Not to mention any damage done to The World directly reflects to Dio, Vice versa. Dio also tends to be overconfident, arrogant and has a bit of a god complex. Which can be taken advantage of by opponents stronger than him like Jotaro Kujo for example
Boomstick: Though He’s now dust. Dio has proven that even after death his legacy and influence will continue to forever haunt the Joestar Bloodline.
Dio flexes his muscles
“Immortality! Eternal Youth! And Stand Power!”
He laughs maniacally atop a steamroller
“This proves that no one can surpass Dio! Puny Humans! I shall rule you all! Bow before my knowledge and might!”
He poses
“Ten seconds have passed!”
Intermission[]
Wiz: Alright the combatants are set and we’ve run the data through all possibilities.
Boomstick: Enough talk! No Ads, No Sponsors and no more wasting time! Let’s start a Death Battle!!!
Intro[]
The night was cool and quiet over the city of Cairo. Shops were closing up and there was a small traffic of cars making their way home. However somewhere on a silent street a fresh body hit the ground, a large gash symmetrically covered its upper body. The culprit of this murder wore dark pants and a green striped shirt, it was the abstract force of evil Chara. They licked their blood covered blade with sadistic enjoyment of having added another body to their kill count.
“9 million left” they whispered to themselves.
They began to continue walking down the gloomy street, revealing a small cluttering of human corpses behind them, their footsteps echoed through the city block as the child strolled peacefully but out the corner of their ears they could hear what sounded like another echo of footsteps pacing behind them.
Quickly Chara turned around to confront the source of the sound only to find there was no one there. Somewhat relieved they turned back but right in front of them, they saw a flamboyantly dressed man. The stranger’s face was all covered in darkness excluding his golden locks that were flowing in the cool breeze, It was Dio.
“You’re name is Chara, right? Don’t be afraid, I am not your enemy but instead your friend” he spoke. His tone and voice were sickeningly soothing almost as if it could calm the tensest of hearts.
The first child did not react nor respond to his words. Instead, the child blankly began to walk up to the vampire.
“I’ve heard you have special abilities. Would you please show them to me?” He calmly asked
Still, there was no response from Chara as they were getting closer to Dio.
“Ah, you’re that eager to show me? Well then don’t hesitate, come here” he said almost as if he was expecting a hug.
Strands of Dio’s hair began to elongate and squirm in a snake-like manner. During the time this was happening Chara had stopped only several meters away from the Vampire. Sharp appendages began to protrude from Dio’s strands, revealing themselves to be flesh buds. In no less than a heartbeat the vampire’s hair lunged at Chara but before they could burrow into their skull, all of Dio’s tendrils were sliced in one perfect slash from the child’s knife.
“Impossible! How could you possibly resist me?!” He shouted in surprise, his hypnotic persona falling off in the process.
Chara chuckled as they gave a sarcastic smile, “Sorry mister, I’m not interested in joining your playgroup. The only thing on my mind is killing and you sir-“ They pointed at the Dio. “Have become my next target!” They announced.
The vampire’s surprise quickly faded to arrogance as he laughed at this threat. “Ho, You think you can kill me? The mighty Dio? Ha! Just try to hit me child!” He retorted.
The fallen child readied their knife and got into position, they maniacally grinned “Challenge accepted”
FIGHT![]
Chara leapt at Dio with subsonic speed, they were about to slash at the charismatic vampire’s face when all of a sudden Chara appeared to be standing back in their original spot. Confused, the fallen child tried again and again but to no avail. Despite clearly moving towards Dio, for some reason they kept landing in the same spot they once stood, almost as if they were being teleported. Dio snickered at the child’s confusion.
“What’s the matter? Didn’t you say something about wanting to kill me just now? You haven’t even moved towards me! Have I perhaps paralyzed you with fear?” He said mockingly.
This situation felt all too familiar to Chara. How were they constantly ending up in the same spot despite clearly moving away from it. Unlike an annoying skeleton, they weren’t being thrown around with telekinesis or pinned with gravity instead it felt almost as if they were being picked up and put back physically in the same space. Was Dio moving faster than their eyes could track? There was only one way for the fallen child to find out. And that was to attack.
Changing their stance, they ran at Dio intending to slash apart the vampire horizontally. Just when they were about to connect a golden yellow fist suddenly emerged out of thin air and countered the blade. The fallen child was taken aback at this sudden discovery, Dio wasn’t far from the same boat.
“How can this be!? You can both see and touch my world? This can’t be possible, I got nothing about you being a stand user!” He exclaimed.
“A stand user? I don’t know what you’re on about nor do I care! Killing you and everything here is the only thing in my interest!” Chara replied, still pushing back against The World’s arm.
Their clash broke and Dio began attacking first with a signature rush attack. “MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA!” Cried Dio as his stand delivered a high speed flurry of punches.
Chara was dashing backwards desperately trying to dodge The World’s attacks. They were almost successfully but the last punch connected sending The child flying back. The vampire walked up to the fallen Chara and lifted them by their shirt collar.
“Hmph, since you won’t join me. I’ll just take your blood instead!” Declared the charismatic vampire. He dug his right fingers into Chara’s neck and began to absorb blood from their body. The fallen child tried to break out of Dio’s grip but his physical strength greatly overshadowed their’s. Chara was in great danger, if they didn’t get out of this soon they’ll be reduced to the human equivalent of a raisin.
With a few remaining ounces of strength they gripped their knife and lacerated Dio’s right arm in one fell swoop. The vampire yelled in pain and through one enraged jab at Chara with The World’s left arm “MUDA!” The fallen child was shot back by a few meters, viciously tumbling upon hitting the ground.
Dio groaned as he picked up his cut arm and started reattaching it to its socket. Meanwhile Chara was slowly getting to their feet, their skin was wrinkly and blood was still leaking out the puncture marks in their neck. Chara reached into their inventory and pulled out A Legendary MTT-Brand Hero. They quickly wolfed the sandwich down and in a matter of seconds, there skin returned to normal and their wound was healed near instantly.
The abstract force quickly activated their save file. They were getting a bad feeling that they’d need to. That they were in for a difficult time. Chara instinctively saved their progress, making a small checkpoint for themselves in case anything bad happened.
“I see you enjoy using a knife” commented Dio. “I have a confession-“ he reached behind his back and pulled out a dozen of throwing knives, sparking a look of surprise from Chara. “I find enjoyment in using them too” revealed the vampire.
“You have seen and invaded my world but can you move through it?” questioned Dio. The fallen child readied themselves, Dio posed “THE WORLD! STOP TIME!” Immediately a wave of distortion emitted from the vampire freezing the universe in place.
Dio stared at the now frozen Chara and smirked. “Heh, just as I thought. You can’t move in my stopped time!” He declared. The vampire took his rows of knives and threw them all at the fallen child. The knives shoot like arrows towards Chara only to freeze just centimeters from their body. “Time will resume” said Dio with a smug look on his face.
And With that, time returned to normal again, the knives drove right into Chara’s whole body. They had no time to react as another knife pierced their skull killing them instantly. The now pin cushioned child collapsed onto the street where a puddle of blood crawled from under them.
FILE 1 SAVED
Chara suddenly sat back up like a mummy leaving its coffin. All their wounds were miraculously healed. The fallen child then casually removed the knife lodged in their forehead without any reaction. Dio was appalled “What!? How are you still alive?! I killed you!” He yelled. Chara got to their feet pulling several more knives pegged to their body, they waved the weapons in front of the vampire “Want to try again?” Asked Chara flashing an innocent smile.
Dio grimaced at the question and prowled towards Chara. Deciding to put the leftover knives to good use, they began shooting them like darts at the vampire. But no knife came close to Dio as The World backhanded them one by one. The child started throwing the weapons faster but Dio was way too quick as he made it to Chara and punched a large hole in their chest killing them once again.
FILE 2 SAVED
Not even a second passed and Chara already sprang back to life, they then stabbed Dio’s Larynx with their remaining knife. The vampire gripped his throat yelling in both shock and pain with only a choking splutter following to describe it due to his vocal cords being impaled. Dio summoned The World again who then launched the abstract child into the air with a hypersonic uppercut.
Thanks to his potent regeneration, Dio’s wound quickly healed. Psychotic with rage he took to the sky after Chara “WWRRRRRRYYYYYYY! How dare you do this to me! Me! Dio! I’ll make you pay dearly for this!” He shrieked as he caught up to the child.
Now in range, the vampire manifested The World who proceeded to give another beatdown “MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA!” The Stand shot Chara downward towards a nearby highway of nighttime traffic.
The fallen child collided with in oncoming car, scraping apart it’s windshield. Chara continued to bounce over the car and onto the freeway where several incoming vehicles uncontrollably drove over them, crushing limbs, ribs and their neck rendering them dead.
This sudden event caused a stir in the Egyptian traffic causing panicked drivers to swerve their cars off course causing many speedwagons to form a roadblock upon the highway. The charismatic vampire descended onto the street to survey the situation.
FILE 3 SAVED
The once battered child immediately awoke from their short slumber. They began to slowly get up only to have their head slammed back into the concrete by The World’s hand. The stand started ruthlessly punching Chara over and over again. With each throw, the cracks in the road began to grow larger and larger around the child.
“Why. Won’t. You. Die!?” Shouted Dio between punches. The fallen child only laughed weakly at Dio’s crippling insanity. They staggered to their feet, even after all they’ve been through everything still felt as nothing more than a game to them. “You don’t understand mister, I can’t die, you see I’m not some ordinary child. I am mercy. I am vengeance. I AM DETERMINATION!” They proclaimed.
Dio stared at the child, his face still twitching with anger. There was silence in the road for what felt like minutes until the vampire slowly burst into a fit of maniacal laughter. There was no way this kid was serious. “Ha! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! Big words for a little brat! Even at a time like this you still persist on mocking me! This is it Chara, my final attack, My final timestop. THE WORLD!”
Once more The World appeared in front of it’s user and froze time in place. Dio looked around to get his bearings and manifested an idea for his assault. He took to the sky and flew over some of the wrecked cars where he came across a Semi-Truck towing a large silver tank behind it. Dio ripped the container from the Truck and carried it back to the battlefield.
Holding the tanker, Dio loomed over the frozen Chara. With a small smirk on his face Dio dived down towards the fallen child. “Take this as a parting gift! An Oil Tanker! Just for you!” He called as he slammed the container onto his opponent. The vampire leapt atop of structure and began punching it with his stand’s fists. “MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA! GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!” He shouted upon hitting the tanker one last time.
The beaten tanker exploded from the light speed impact, flames spread out onto the freeway frozen in place. Admiring his handiwork Dio tiredly but satisfyingly said “Time will now move again”, and with that the whole time continuum resumes. The deafening noise from the explosion covered the highway following by the crackling of The now moving flames, Chara was nowhere in sight.
“I did it. I have Wo-“ FILE 4 SAVED
Before Dio could finish his sentence, his face as well as his whole body were split in half. Standing behind him was Chara, completely unharmed by the explosion. “Bu-But Th-That’s Impo-ssible!” Spluttered the vampire, blood leaking from both sides of his sliced body. “Was that really the best you could do? For a final attack, that was pretty weak” Said The Fallen Child.
Groaning in pain and frustration, Dio placed both his hands on opposing sides of his body and pressed himself back together fully regenerating in seconds. Chara was actually surprised at the vampire’s persistence. They thought his determination could rival some of the strong monsters they’ve previously faced in the underground.
“This can’t be possible. After all the critical hits I’ve given, you still refuse to die. You know what? I no longer see the fun in fighting you anymore. I was really enjoying myself killing everyone slowly in this big village until you came along and spoilt it!” Said Chara grouchily. “Oh well, I’ll just erase this world and move on to the next.” The child spawned their save file in their left hand “Goodbye Mister! Thanks for the little play date!” They cheerfully spoke as they waved to the vampire.
ERASE
With the press of a button, the world behind Chara turned a void-like black that started consuming Cairo at an alarming rate. The erasure was moving towards the two psychopaths, Chara had seemingly disappeared, leaving Dio all alone on the ruined highway.
The vampire clenched his fist “No! I can’t die like this, I am Dio! I must- I WILL go to Heaven!” He didn’t have much time left, if his final plan didn’t work he’d be erased along with his entire universe. Dio hunched over, the ground began to quake beneath him. Immediately multi-colored orbs appeared above the remaining sky and shot into the vampire, a blinding white flash of light exploded from within him.
Chara opened their eyes. The world they appeared in was nothing what they were expecting. The ground they stood on was a deep shape of purplish-pink and the sky above them glowed with many bright stars. There was nothing else in this world except Chara themselves.
Before they could manifest a thought, they were a familiar laugh echo from all around them. Chara looked in every direction vigilantly but they could not figure out where the laughter was coming from. This was feeling an awful lot like Déjà vu. Just then Dio appeared before Chara, seemingly from thin air.
But the vampire’s appearance had drastically since the last time they fought. His whole body was covered in a complexion of ghostly white adorned with golden accessories hanging on the sides, his hair had grown longer and his eyes had turned a shining yellow, his name narcissistically branded beneath them.
“Yes Chara, what you see is indeed reality. Because of you, I have reached Heaven. I’ve become much stronger than I have ever been in my immortal life” he said with triumph. “Now, as you would put it. Shall we try this again?” He beckoned.
Chara lunged at Dio, Real Knife in hand. The latter happily bent his head forward where Chara created a large gash northwest of his skull. The charismatic vampire threw his head back chuckling. He placed his right hand on the wound, healing it instantly. “USELESS!” He barked. “Your attacks do literally nothing to me!” He boasted.
This angered the Fallen Child causing them to begin slashing at Dio in a more vigorous pace, but the Heaven Ascended Vampire kept dodging seconds before Chara would connect. Dio began moving at blinding speeds, attacking the child from all directions like a pin ball. No matter how hard and how aggressively they tried, Chara could no longer hit Dio.
“Too Slow! Too Slow! You’re just way too slow!” said Dio tauntingly. The fallen child retaliated with a straight forward thrust of their blade but the vampire avoided it by vanishing behind Chara and hitting them with a back shot. Dio appeared in front of his opponent and jabbed them in the gut, bursting their abdomen. Blood spewed out of the abstract force’s mouth with Dio than delivering a fierce hook to their left temple, cracking their skull and sending them shooting back.
(“When did this guy get so strong? I can’t keep up with him! My determination might not be enough to defeat him. I have no choice, I will reset this world and erase it before I face him”) thought Chara trying to think up a solution to this difficult obstacle.
Keeping a distance Chara spawned their save file in their right hand. A wide screen appeared before them displaying their name, LV, time spent as well as two options, SAVE and RESET. Sticking to the plan, Chara activated the latter.
RESET? USELESS!
All of a sudden the screen cracked, those cracks began to grow and fall apart revealing The World Over Heaven relentlessly punching away at the file “It’s USELESS! USELESS USELESS USELESS USELESS USELESS USELESS USELESS USELESS USELESS USELESS USELESS USELESS USELESS USELESS USELESS USELESS USELESS USELESS, USE-LEEEESSSSS!” And with a punch, the shattered screen along with the star shaped item in the child’s hand disappeared

Chara was in utter shock “My save file! What did you- How did you-“ they spluttered. The ascended stand returned to it’s user’s side. “This is The World Over Heaven’s ability; Reality Overwrite. With it I can simply overwrite anything I desire in anyway I want. Your “Save File” won’t protect you anymore because I overwrote it from existence” explained Dio.
“To tell the truth, you gave me a bit of trouble back in Egypt but now I’m far above. Between us I am God and you Chara; are just a puny little flea!” He taunted, laughing at his own comparison. The fallen child stayed silent, his words echoed all throughout inside their head. “I’m... A... Puny... Little... Flea? No... You are misunderstood. This is not how it’s suppose to be. I was the first and I will be the last! No one is above me! NOBODY!” They screamed. Their face no longer resembled that of an innocent child.
In it’s place was a contorted, demonic snarl. Chara now looked more like a monster than a human being. They blindly sprinted towards Dio screaming incoherent sounds the that didn’t resemble that of a living creature of any kind. “I WILL CHOP YOU UP INTO LITTLE PIECES AND DEVOUR YOUR SOUL WHILE IT’S STILL SCREAMING FROM YOUR WRETCHED BODY!!!” They roared.

The World’s last punch thunderously connected. Like a synchronized chain reaction, Every version of Chara across every multiverse, across every battle and across all possible plains of reality vanished without a trace.
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo-“ Chara screamed before being erased from obscurity. The World Over Heaven retracted it’s arm before it returned to it’s master’s side. “It’s over. I did it... I have won” spoke Dio in a somewhat relieved tone. He remained still in his pocket dimension where he folded his arms and turned to watch the shooting stars in the sky.

Boomstick: Wow. Safe to say that was ‘Made In Heaven’
Wiz: This matchup was truly an interesting one, it was close but also complex that could’ve gone in many ways and ended with many different outcomes.
Boomstick: Due to the “Soulecular” Nature of both Undertale and JoJo, we believe it’s very likely that Chara would be capable of both seeing and harming The World without needing to touch Dio.
Wiz: Dio was a much more efficient fighter and had many more ways of directing the battle thanks to his stand, weapons and Vampiric Physiology. Not to mention Chara surprisingly had no reliable method to defend against The World’s Time Stop.
Boomstick: Even more surprisingly, it was nearly impossible for these two to actually kill each other as Dio’s healing factor was too potent for Chara to do any lasting damage and the latter could always respawn and continue the fight thanks to their determination if the vampire ever struck a fatal blow.
Wiz: When it came to Lifting Strength, The World should be Comparable to a similar stand called Star Platinum who was once able to hold up and shatter a giant diamond tooth that weighed around 140 Tons.
Boomstick: Chara’s Strength is a bit tricky as the best idea we could get was if we scaled them to Undyne who suplexed boulder but the problem is we don’t how big this boulder was in question but what we do know is that sheshould be far superior to this swole wolf monster who could toss giant blocks of ice like a champ.
Wiz: Based on my calculations, by measuring the size of the ice block compared to the player I’ve deduced that this block must weigh 2.4 Tons. Making Dio over 58 times stronger.
(Popup: Ironically It’s possible that Dio is even stronger as he should be physically superior to one of his former minions Tarkus, who lifted a large boulder with his thumb which has been calculated to weigh 511 Tons.)
Boomstick: Speed-wise Chara is at least capable of moving and reacting at Supersonic speed when scaled to Greater Dog who can bark literally waves of sound.
Wiz: However there are some cases that they could be faster as they’ve reacted to attacks resembling lightning and lasers. Even if we assumed Asriel’s Chaos Buster And San’s Gaster Blasters are light based, Chara would have to be capable of moving at speeds of at least 539 million km/h in order to dodge them.
Boomstick: Dio on the other hand can casually blitz Silver Chariot who once intercepted a beam of light! Using my big brain, by analyzing the panel I’ve deduced that chariot must have moved at 393 billion km/h. Over 365 times faster than light as well as 729 times faster than Chara!
(Popup: Dio should also be Comparable to Kars and Joseph Joestar who also have light dodging]/Intercepting feats of their own. Even without scaling Dio would still be automatically FTL thanks to his time stop ability)
Wiz: Now onto Attack Potency, Once again there’s not a clear indicator at how hard Chara can hit. But here at Death Battle we believe “One can give as much as one can take” meaning their offense should be equal to their defense.
Boomstick: Like the time Chara and Undyne were once in the epicenter of an MTT Brand oven explosion that left her entire house engulfed in flames and they were completely fine!
Wiz: By measuring the size of the house as well as the temperature of the flames this explosion must of been equivalent to 24 Kilograms of TNT! Just Enough to destroy small works of construction like houses for example which fits this calculation.
Boomstick: Having been around for more than a hundred years, Dio should be much stronger than to one of his former zombies called Tarkus who once split a massive hill made of bedrock that was equivalent to nearly a Ton of TNT! Over 31 times greater than Chara’s oven feat.
Wiz: Now that the basics are out of the way it’s time to answer what everyone wants to know. What was stronger? Chara’s determination? Or Dio’s World Over Heaven?
Boomstick: Now this is where all that complexity comes in. Chara’s Determination was indeed both a powerful and very useful tool but Dio’s Heaven Ascension Abilities were way stronger.
Wiz: You must be wondering “Why couldn’t Chara just simply reset or erase the battle with their determination?” Well to our discovery Dio actually had several perfect counters to this. The World Over Heaven is much more powerful than a stand called D4C who has the ability to travel and access over an infinite number of dimensions.
Boomstick: This means that if Chara ever tried using their save file, Dio could just pull a Darkseid and take the battle to a different universe effectively canceling their attempts but technically Chara could also do the exact same thing putting their universe Erasing/Creating Abilities on equal footing.
(Popup: It’s unlikely that Chara is as powerful as Flowey and Asriel as there are several stat and LV implications that indicate Chara is much weaker compared to both variations of their brother. Even when scaled Frisk, the latter was unable to defeat yet even harm the two without assistance.)
Wiz: Not to mention Heaven Ascended Dio could also technically copy Chara’s reset ability as he should be superior to a stand called Made In Heaven who was responsible for rebooting the entire JoJo Universe, And Considering that Reality Overwrite grants Dio pretty much anything he wants excluding his range. It’s without a doubt he could essentially do the same thing.
Boomstick: And Dio has had experience with loops and resets before as he once rescued the Italian Mob Boss Diavolo from a time loop created by his cinnamon roll son that caused him to die an infinite number of times. Hey Kinda like the omega sanction.
Wiz: Speaking of his son, Dio was also able to resist the powers of his Amplified Stand Golden Experience Requiem And was able sucker punch him before he could react and GER is capable of moving in both stopped and erased time! Essentially Giving Heaven Ascension Dio Infinite speed!
Boomstick: But what about Chara’s save file itself? Surely Dio wouldn’t be able to overwrite that?
Wiz: Actually he can considering that many monsters that are far from Gods have been seen being able to affect and even nullify Chara’s files and mechanics without any issues meaning Dio could possibly do the same, not to mention stands have been seen able to affect things like sound, sight and even emotions like willpower. Basically one of the many sources determination stems from.
(Popup: Considering that Chara doesn’t have any known resistances against mind control, Dio could’ve easily corrupted and/or turned them into one of his minions/zombies)
Boomstick: Ah, but hang on a sec didn’t you say earlier that Chara became apart of the Undertale Multiverse? If Chara is literally linked to it then how would Dio ever be able to kill them?
Wiz: That’s a good question Boomstick but do you remember me talking about the stand D4C?
Boomstick: The dimension hopping stand used by The President Of The United States?!! Yeah I remember.
Wiz: We found that the president, Funny Valentine is actually somewhat similar to Chara as not only can his stand access infinite universes but Valentine himself exists in pretty much all of them, which is useful considering he can transfer his mind, soul, stand and memories to another version of himself should he be fatally injured.
Boomstick: Which is kinda similar to how Chara possessed Frisk’s body
Wiz: On one fateful day, While universe hopping, Valentine was trying desperately to escape an attack called the Infinite Spin when he came across Dio in his Over Heaven Area.
Boomstick: However after a disagreement, they duked it out across several dimensions with Dio ultimately coming out victorious. And he won the fight by- I kid you not, erasing all trace of our funny POTUS and his filthy acts at a reasonable price across the entire infinite multiverse!
Wiz: This shows that no matter how many save files Chara creates, resets or destroys their determination will always stop at a limited number while Dio on the other hand has proven that his powers are LIMITLESS.
Boomstick: So you’re saying that your verdict for Chara and Dio is pretty much the same for your verdict with Goku and Superman?
Wiz: Precisely Boomstick! Chara may have been a ridiculously persistent fighter but Dio overall was stronger, faster and had much more powerful abilities.
Boomstick: You thought the winner would be Chara but it was he, DIO!

- The connections between Chara and Dio is that they’re both sadistic antagonists with a hatred of a certain race. (With Chara having hatred for monsters and Dio possessing hatred for Humans), they both had rough lives and were orphans who were adopted by rich families (With Chara being adopted by The Royal Dreemurr Family and Dio being adopted by the Joestar Family), Both poisoned/killed their fathers, Both formed friendships and took over the bodies of their adoptive siblings (With Chara possessing one half of their adoptive brother Asriel Dreemurr and Dio stealing the body of his adoptive brother Jonathan Joestar) They both use knives and have Time based Abilities.
