BFR is short for Battlefield Removal

This covers combatants who can forcibly remove opponents from their area of battle, so that said opponents aren't able to return and continue the fight for an unprecedented amount of time. While the exact methods of BFR vary, common examples include teleporting an opponent far away, stranding them in another time, marooning them in a different dimension, knocking them over the horizon or simply sending them into outer space.
