Description

Tangled VS Star Wars! Its time for a battle between redeemed villains who died when going up against their dark masters to save the world. Who will come out on top? Cassandra, the manipulated pawn of Zhan Tiri, or Kylo Ren, the apprentice of Snoke and Palpatine? Let’s find out if the moonstones black rocks can take on the dark side of the force.

Intro

Wiz: Insecurities are something everyone have. Some people let these things ruin their lives while others try to live with them.

Boomstick: This is especially evident if you have issues in your childhood that shape who you are in the future. I know I have enough issues to fill an entire book in my case.

Wiz: Throughout fiction, evil masterminds of great powers has preyed on these kinds of people to turn them to the dark side to use them for their own ends. Today’s combatants are no exception to this rule as they were manipulated into attacking their former friends and being a huge threat to their respective worlds.

Boomstick: Luckily for them, they eventually turned on their respective dark masters to save the world. I would say good for them if it had not been for the fact that they both died in the process as well. I do guess redemption does equal death huh?

Wiz: Cassandra, The Former Lady-In-Waiting Of Rapunzel.

Boomstick: and Kylo Ren, The Supreme Leader Of The First Order. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!

Wiz: And it’s our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

Cassandra

Wiz: Long ago, a cosmic event in the heaven separated an ancient power in two causing them to descend onto the earth. A drop of sunlight landed near where the Kingdom of Corona would form centuries later while a drop moonlight landed where the Dark Kingdom would eventually be formed. While the sundrop created a flower which could any kinds of injuries and keep oneself young, the drop of moonlight created the moonstone. This opal which had the ability destroy and decay anything around it was kept from the world by the kings of the newly formed Dark Kingdom to protect the world from its power. The two objects however longed to reunite with each other and the event which set this all into motion was when the flower was used to heal the queen of Corona. This caused the powers of the sundrop to be transferred to the queen’s newborn daughter who was born not much later. Her name was Rapunzel.

Boomstick: Are you sure you got the right backstory Wiz? I have seen Tangled and I definitely don’t remember this crazy backstory.

Wiz: Not surprising since the world of Disney’s Tangled got hugely expanded upon in the sequel TV-series Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure.

Boomstick: I have heard of that show now that I think of it. I do recall the show having a different name before though. TV-series changing its name just makes them more annoying to find on streaming sites.

Wiz: Getting back on track, Rapunzel was eventually kidnaped by the with Mother Gothel and kept in a tower for 18 years where she was kept under the pretense that the witch was her actual mother. The witch’s use of Rapunzel’s hair to keep herself young eventually ended when the thief Flynn Rider freed her and took the long-lost princes back to her parents. Due to a couple of life changing events, Rapunzel left her kingdom and journeyed towards the Dark Kingdom with a couple of her friends to seek out her destiny. One person however took that destiny away from her and prevented the sundrop and moonstone from being reunited. That person was Cassandra, Rapunzel’s best friend and one of her closest confidants.

Boomstick: This princess does not have any luck at all. First her “mother” turns out to be an evil witch and then her best friend betrays her trust? That’s not even mentioning this isn’t even the first time a friend of hers has betrayed and tried to kill her. This girl need therapy.

Wiz: Before betraying her best friend and bonding with the moonstone, Cassandra was Rapunzel’s lady-in-waiting having been assigned to the princess side once she returned to her kingdom and reunited with her parents. Being a lady-in-waiting however wasn’t exactly Cassandras favorite assignment.

Boomstick: Having been raised by the captain of the royal guards and therefore been training with the castle guards since she was 6 definitely makes being assigned as the personal handmaiden of a hyperactive princess not exactly one’s dream job. The fact that the two managed to become best friends despite being almost opposite in attitude is most impressive.

Wiz: Couldn’t have said it any better Boomstick. Before the betrayal, Cassandra was very sarcastic and cynical person with a dry sense of humor who dreamed to join the royal guards of Corona. While Rapunzel’s attempts to become friends with her at first failed, the two eventually bonded due both being free-spirits and finding joy in adventure. The fact that she was willing to risk her job to sneak Rapunzel out of the kingdom to explore the outside and her enjoying herself as much as Rapunzel makes this very evident.

Boomstick: Doesn’t make her stop teasing Flynn Rid…..I mean Eugene Fitzherbert AKA Rapunzel’s boyfriend all the time due to seeing him a selfish freeloader. What monster names their kid Eugene Fitzherbert anyway?

Wiz: No one did since that’s not really his name either. His real name is Horace

Boomstick: That’s even worse. Anyway, having been trained by the captain of the guards makes her extremely efficient when it comes to combat scenarios. The lady-in-waiting is sufficient with multiple different kinds of weaponry from Halberds, maces, axes, and more. Havin a wardrobe full of medieval weaponry is proof of this and something I really want to get my hands on.

Wiz: The weapon Cassandra is most comfortable with in battle is a sword however. Whenever she is adventuring with Rapunzel and Eugene, she always has a sword with her as well as a knife which she keeps in one of her boots. She does not need a weapon all the time though as she is also known to use martial arts at times or using the environment to her advantage like when she used a large candelabra to defeat a couple of thugs. Other areas Cassandra is skilled in is horseback riding, fencing, archery, and athletics. She is also very agile as she is known to easily perform flips in the air over people and large objects.

Boomstick: Some notable feats of this badass lady-in-waiting is defeating a large group of Corona guards with ease, beating 23 people in a row in wrestling, easily disarming a sneak attacker, flipping a person over her shoulder with ease, walking across 50 yards of cable in heavy armor, and hitting three bullseyes at once with a bow before doing the same thing with spinning targets. She has even impressed the queen of Ingvarr, which is a country of kick-ass warrior women, and was actually offered a spot in her army after the two fought each other.

Wiz: Cassandra did lose the battle due to not being as experienced and this has happened plenty of other times with warriors who has trained for longer than herself like Adira and King Edmund of the Dark brotherhood. Speaking of Edmund, this king is strong enough easily slice through a support beam and throw his axe so hard that it can pierce armor. Cassandra took a punch from this guy and got up not long after.

Boomstick: Speaking of the one member of the brotherhood Cassandra has defeated after first being stomped by, Hector is probably the scariest seeing as he can casually chop down an gargantuan tree in a single sword swing and OWNS A FREAKING RHINO. I know a lot of characters in Disney have animal companions but this is a bit too much. The Owl companion of Cassandras make much more sense than a rhino especially in a fairytale setting.

Wiz: Other significant opponents which she have actually defeated is Andrew, who is powerful to stab into metal with ease who Cassandra fought and overpowered, a sneezeweasel alongside Rapunzel, whose sneeze which is powerful enough send itself flying into the air Cassandra endured, and a couple of Automatons. This same kind of automaton has survived being bombarded with explosives and Cassandra managed to cut one so deep into it that it fell over and exploded with her sword. Another one she defeated with Rapunzel and Eugene’s help by climbing it and wrapping it up with ribbon in the process before then helping her two companions to push it out of a window.

Boomstick: Speaking of mechanical monstrosities, don’t forget the time she took on a large mechanical lion in some weird capture the flag game. Being sent flying backwards by large mechanical paws multiple times courtesy of a mechanical kittycat and still getting up on her feet like a boss is not something you see every day. I should not be surprised through seeing as she has taken lots of punishment like being sent flying by superior opponents or falling down cliffs due Rapunzel being a magnet for trouble. Hey Wiz can you build me something like that?

Wiz: Of course I can. Why should I though? The last time I built you something I had to pay several peoples medical bill.

Boomstick: It is not my fault that they were tax collectors and me “misfiring” that awesome flamethrower you made me. Those tax collectors should know better not to approach my house.

Wiz: I can understand that attitude but it’s not exactly an intelligent way to deal with it. Cassandra on the other hand is intelligent enough to understand many of Rapunzel's clues during her and Eugene’s escape game and spotting the mistakes in letters from a suspicious character who wanted to befriend her and then use her to steal and important artifact. In response, she tricked him into thinking she had feeling for him to trick him to come to Corona so she could uncover his intentions.

Boomstick: With a lady-in-waiting like this, it’s no wonder Rapunzel comes out on top in her adventures. This kick-ass 22-year old is strong enough stun and throw Wreck Marauder hard enough to smash the spectator dividing wall. Large wooden cartoonlike hammers which can send people flying shatter upon making contact with this guy. That’s not even mentioning the stone piercing vines of Zan Tiri's Tree whose power Cassandra managed to match momentarily and being able to play tug and war with Rapunzel after her hair got stuck on a collapsing bridge.

Wiz: Cassandra was indeed impressive and very capable even before taking the moonstone. With strength feats like knocking over a tree by repeatedly kicking it, sending a large criminal in armor flying, pulling a rowboat with two horses on it across a river, lifting a gigantic axe, hitting Rapunzel’s unbreakable hair so hard that all the weapons used shattered, and more; Cassandra is more like a bodyguard than a handmaiden.

Boomstick: The girl is also pretty quick on her feet seeing as she is able to outrun Wolves and Horses whose fastest running speed respectively is 50 – 60 km/h and 88 km/h. Being able to catch a knife in midair, dodge swords, throwing apples into the air and cutting them into several pieces before falling, and walking through a line of swinging hammers and dodging all of them is impressive. Why this girl not been allowed to join the royal guards yet is beyond me.

Wiz: Probably due to her father being overprotective. Speaking of the captain of the royal guards of corona, that man is in fact only Cassandras foster father. Her real mother ironically enough is the witch that kept Rapunzel trapped for 18 years and abandoned her own 4-year old daughter; Mother Gothel.

Boomstick: Definitely winner for the worst mother of all-time award. She is basically ruined both her daughter’s lives. I think I can see why the lady-in-waiting betrayed Rapunzel. Childhood trauma and jealousy can make people do crazy things.

Wiz: It is part of it yes but it’s not the whole reason. Cassandra has some insecurities about how she is seen just like a handmaiden of Rapunzel instead of a capable warrior. The desire to prove herself has driven Cassandra to act selfishly and grown rather resentful of Rapunzel for upstaging her several times. This eventually boiled to a breaking point when she found out her mother abandoned her for Rapunzel which prompted her to take the Moonstone and Rapunzels destiny for herself.

Boomstick: The fact that one of her hand was freaking burnt to a crisp accidentally by Rapunzel using a decay incantation didn’t make things any better. Even with a hand looking like it been in the oven for too long and being forced to learn everything with her other hand, she is still a badass in combat. Doesn’t make her anger any less understandable though.

Wiz: We should probably also mention Cassandras feeling of resentment being strengthened by the ancient demon Zhan Tiri manipulating her so that she could be freed from her prison and get the sundrop and moonstone for herself. Cassandras habit of not liking to share her feelings, keeping secrets to herself, and not accepting help at critical times as well as having trust issues made her the perfect pawn to manipulate.

Boomstick: Being a pawn of an ancient demon unknowingly sucks but at least she gained tons of awesome abilities with the main one being able to use the energy of the moonstone to generate indestructible black rocks sparking with blue energy wherever she wants. These rocks are basically immune to everything and can’t be destroyed ranging from assaults from all kinds of medieval weaponry to being covered in lava. They are also sharp enough to turn pierce through houses, cut down trees with ease, crack the ground and create sinkholes, and even turn automatons into swiss-cheese.

Wiz: Cassandra even used these black rocks to create an armor that covers her entire body except for her head. This armor is some way is much stronger than the usual black rocks she can generate as it was able to withstand Adiras shadow blade colliding with it as well as energy blasts from Rapunzel’s hair. This same blade and energy attacks can cut and shatter the black rocks with no effort at all.

Boomstick: The shadow blade is an extremely impressive weapon. It is no gun but it is still a weapon I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on. It is made from the black rocks and is sharp enough cut through a black rock formation as big as a bridge as well as metal. It is even said to be strong enough to cut the moonstone thingy with relative ease. I very much would steal this if Cassandra hadn’t stolen it first from Adira making it her new primary weapon.

Wiz: Being a skilled swordswoman, Cassandra can use the shadow blade to maximum capacity. She can swing and throw it with such strength to cause large structures like gigantic stone statues and the Demanitus device to crack and collapse. Her throwing accuracy is also just as good as her accuracy with a bow and arrow and her speed can be used to twirl the sword around so fast to block energy projectiles from Rapunzel. If she ever loses it, she can use the black rocks to return it to her hand or use her armor to create a blade from the part covering her hurt hand.

Boomstick: As indestructible as the rocks and shadow blade is, they do have their limits. They can’t cut Rapunzel’s hair which is powered by the sundrop and has characteristics of the black rocks. That makes sense unlike a stupid enchanted puny box which the black rocks could also not pierce. The blade also was eventually broken by a powerful hit from Rapunzel’s hair glowing with full of power.

Wiz: Don’t make these shortcomings fool you however as they are definitely still very impressive. The black rocks for example can pierce and destroy an amber substance as strong as the rocks. It also helps that Cassandra create multiple at once very quickly if she wants that can range in size from small to gigantic.

Boomstick: Notable uses of the rocks in combat by the fallen handmaiden are creating cages and stone hands to ensnare opponents, generating black rocks handcuffs, use the rocks to shield from attacks or pin enemies, encase a person in rock cocoon in no time at all which can be used to squish the opponent to death, create rock pillars to ascend or descend herself or the enemy, attack by slamming the rocks into people, and…………create wolf/dog formations to attack by creating several rocks at once?

Wiz: That’s certainly strange but something even more important than how she uses the rocks is how they react to her emotions. For example; the rocks starts to grow sporadically on their own if Cassandra feel extremely angry or frustrated as happened when she covered the castle courtyard of Corona full of rocks almost instantly. According to Zhan Tiri, hate and anger is needed to use the rocks effectively.

Boomstick: Emotions huh? You certainly do not want to scare this girl as red fear rocks will grow out of the ground in retaliation and cause nearby people to see their worst fear. Might not seem very dangerous at all but you won’t see me getting any closer to those things as being under the spell for too long will get one frozen in fear and turned into a red glowing statue.

Wiz: It does seem that Cassandra has full control of the rocks but she didn’t actually at first. It was only after learning the third incantation of the Demanitus scroll which gives the wielder full control of the rocks that she managed to use them to the fullest of her ability. The first thing she did after gaining full control was………..

Boomstick: ……….CREATING A  AWESOME TOWER HIDEOUT THAT ECLIPSE THE CLOUDS IN LESS THEN A MINUTE. Now that is what I call being in full control of one’s abilities.

Wiz: For once I agree with you completely Boomstick. I would very much like to study the composition of these rocks to see what makes them tick.

Boomstick: Enough of boring science talk Wiz! Let’s speak of the moonstone’s other abilities besides the black rocks like the burst of blue energy she can emit from her body like a shockwave to send people flying or the one time she used Pyrokinesis. Cassandra has even survived such a shockwave at close range alongside Rapunzel in the past before her heel turn.

Wiz: The pyrokinesis feat is rather dubious as she only used it once to create blue flames illuminating her throne room. Her ability to use the Decay incantation can also be argued

Boomstick: The Decay Incantation? You mean the same thing which basically fried one of Cassandras hands and drains the life force of all living things in the vicinity until they have withered away?

Wiz: This incantation is designed for the moonstone and the only reason Rapunzel could use it was because of her having been given attributes of the black rocks. While Cassandra has never used this incantation, she does know how it works thanks to seeing Rapunzel using it.

Boomstick: Other than being given OP abilities, being bonded to the moonstone also increased her strength and durability. Her fists being covered with black rock armor certainly makes her punches much stronger and the black armor makes it possible to survive explosions of green magical fire and being hit with a projectile weapon powerful enough to break the black rocks and immobilize her in a cocoon of the previously mentioned amber structure which she broke out of moments later.

Wiz: The best durability feat of the armor however is when both Raps and Cass used the full power of the sundrop and moonstone to collide with each other which resulted in an explosion powerful enough to blow the entire throne room of black rocks into dust. Both girls survived the explosion though it should be noted the force behind the attack made Cassandra fall out of her own tower and chipping the moonstone somewhat. Luckily for her, she was able to catch herself by creating a black rock from the side of the tower to fall onto.

Boomstick: The sweet boost in durability and strength made it possible for Cassandra to lay the smackdown on people who once stomped her with ease in the past like the captain of the guards and Adira. Seems pure strength won over skill this time. Beating up her own father is kind of wrong if you ask me. She should be happy she at least had a father figure in her life that care that didn’t run away…….Why I am suddenly reminded by that sarge guy we meet a couple of years ago?

Wiz: The moonstone and shadow blade proved to be great tools in seeking her revenge on Rapunzel and stealing the sundrop from her. Cassandra did have two more things in her arsenal however.

Boomstick: First up is the Cloak of Retudnus which allow the fallen handmaiden to shapeshift into whoever she wants once worn. Would be a good thing for parties and sneak attacks if not for the fact that it can be easily removed seeing as a freaking gopher once managed to steal if off her once.

Wiz: The last thing in Cassandras arsenal is the Mind Trap which allows the holder to take control of the Dark Brotherhood. Edmund, Adira, and Hector have their minds dominated and forced to comply to the whims of the holder of the mind trap.  

Boomstick: Having a group of skilled warriors basically at your beck and call makes this girl is even more terrifying. Her being extremely aggressive and ruthless in combat once gaining full control of the moonstone is scary enough thank you very much. To think this person was once one of the good guys is kind of hard to believe right now. Her claiming she is not a villain or a bad person rings very hollow.

Wiz: Despite her fall to the dark, there has been several instances where Cassandra has questioned her way of doing things and nearly been convinced to turn her back on her pursuit of power and rejoin her friends.  Unfortunately, Zhan Tiri was there each time to make sure this did not come to pass. It was only once Zhan Tiri stole the sundrop and moonstone from their respective wielders that Cassandra realized the error of her ways and rejoined the side of light

Boomstick: Kind of too late to realize that having you mind clouded with rage and attacking you best friend because of that is wrong if you ask me. At least she helped to save the day in the end even if it cost her life in the process. She even got some sweet revenge by slamming the demon so hard from behind with a frying pan that it was knocked out for a couple of seconds. A frying pan really is the strongest weapon in this universe.

Wiz: She did get revived by Rapunzel not long afterwards, so I suppose even she got her happy ending in the end.

Boomstick: Why am I not surprised? This is Disney after all. The only ones allowed to die in Disney properties is the parents of the main characters for some reason.

Wiz: Even with her redeeming herself, her actions will probably haunt her for the rest of her life.  She is free to find her own destiny now and having reconnected with her friends and overcome her own insecurities hopefully will help alleviate any thoughts of falling and becoming one of Coronas worst villains once again.

Cassandra: It means that I'm Gothel's daughter and your destiny belongs to me!

Kylo Ren

Wiz: When Darth Vader killed Emperor Palpatine during the battle of Endor at the cost of his own life to save his own son, the chosen one finally put a balance to the force and defeated the sith once and for all. This created a period of peace in the galaxy that………

Boomstick:….didn’t last very long at all because Palpatine apparently survived by transporting his essence into a clone and created an artificial creature by the name of Snoke who basically created the First order and went right back to trying to conquer the galaxy. He even created an even bigger death star-like weapon that can destroy multiple planets at once. Talk about faulty prophecy and unoriginal superweapon. Who can we thank all this for? The mouse himself and his desire for money.

Wiz: Let’s not spend the rest of the episode bashing the sequel trilogy thank you very much. Let’s focus on something more important like todays second combatant.  

Boomstick: Sorry Wiz. The failure of the new trilogy still stings even if there were parts that were actually kind of awesome.

Wiz: In his quest to become the supreme leader of the entire galaxy, Snoke needed an apprentice that he could cultivate into one of his greatest warriors just like how Palpatine turned Anakin. The one he found who would take this position was Kylo Ren; the grandson of Darth Vader himself.

Boomstick: Mask? Check. Dark clothing? Check. Red lightsaber? Check. They are definitely related.

Wiz: Ben Solo is the son of Leia Organa and Han Solo as well as the nephew of Luke Skywalker. Being a skywalker by blood meant Ben was force sensitive and able to learn the ways of the force. Luke therefore took him to his newly created jedi temple where he and others would be taught how to become a Jedi. Also like his uncle and grandfather, Ben was an ace pilot which would prove useful once he joined the First Order

Boomstick: Unfortunately for Luke, Snoky also found out about Ben and felt the raw untamed power sleeping within him and planned to make him his own apprentice. Luke also senses this potential power and he was so frightened that he considered killing his own nephew for a short second and even ignited his own lightsaber to do the deed before realizing what he was doing was wrong. Doing this standing over the sleeping form of Ben was not the smartest choice. Ben probably had nightmares of his master standing over for years to come when he woke up and saw this.

Wiz: Believing his uncle was about to kill him, Ben immediately went on the offensive and caused the hut around them to fall onto Skywalker. With Luke incapacitated, Ben slaughtered a majority of Luke’s other students proving himself the best student trained by his uncle and recruited the rest. His massacre of the jedi students earned him the nickname Jedi Killer among the members of the First Order as he joined and became Smoke’s apprentice.

Boomstick: Wanting to cut himself away from his past, the name Ben Solo was abandoned and Kylo Ren took its place to serve the First Order. Kylo Ren is a much better name anyway so he made a good choice I guess.

Wiz: Snoke’s choice of apprentice eventually proved to be the wrong one. Ren did become a highly skilled tactician and capable leader with good enough memory to memorize every Stormtrooper by number. Ren also leading several successful attacks on the resistance proving him to be a great asset to the First Order. As much as he believed Ren was under his control however, the fact that Ren killed him and became the new Supreme Leader of the First Order proved to be his undoing. As the new supreme Leader, the First Order managed get tons of worlds to submit and swear fealty to Ren.

Boomstick: Having been trained in both the Jedi and sith ways of the force has given Ren a huge variety of force powers to play with like Force push and Pull, which can be used send people flying away or towards him, Force Throw, which can be used to levitate object and people to throw them around, Force Choke, Vaders favorite which allows one to throttle his targets, and Force sense, which allows Ren to sense other force sensitives and sense people’s emotions among other things. His most famous force powers however would be force stasis and telepathy.

Wiz: Force stasis allows one to completely halt the motion of a target, holding them in place with a paralyzing grip. Ren is fluent in this skill seeing as he can both immobilize Poe and the blaster bolt he sent at him at the same time. The laser bolt remained in stasis for a minute before being released. He is also known to use force stasis during lightsaber duels on the opponent’s lightsaber to prevent incoming attacks.

Boomstick: Seeing that this force ability is a kind of telekinesis, Ren can use his telekinetic power to anchor himself to resist outside forces as he did when the Millennium Falcon's engines were used to make an hangar of stormtroopers sent flailing backwards, play tug of war with medium sized starship against Rey, or control movements of people as he demonstrated on the like of Agent Tierny and Commander Pyre who were forced to point their blasters at each other. Know what’s even crazier? He did it through a freaking hologram as he was located on the other end of the galaxy. As long as he knows where his target is located, he can use the force on them.

Wiz: Telepathy is the other kind of force power that Kylo excels in seeing as he can use this skill to torture and probe into people’s minds to forcibly shift through thoughts and memories. He used this on Poe to get the location of the droid he was looking for but failed with Rey due to her own force powers. He can also cause targets to fall asleep and use the mind trick to control the mind of those with weaker will.

Boomstick: Two other notable force powers used is Force barrier, to create wall of force energy to protect himself which protected him when he crashed his shuttle onto a planet once, and Force Repulse. This skill allows not-Darth Vader to generate a telekinetic explosion that repel opponents and destroy obstacles. This was used to turn the dark side cave on Dagobah into a large crater in the ground. He really must not have liked what he saw in there.

Wiz: When it comes to durability, Ren uses combat armor based on the battle gear worn by the other Knights of Ren and Vaders's armor. This allowed him to survive his ship crashing and exploding with him in it without much of a scratch. He has shown himself able to crush his helmet into piece by furiously slamming it into a wall if pure strength is needed.

Boomstick: Not bad for a Darth Vader fanboy. Vader would certainly be proud of these accomplishments while Anakin wouldn’t. While Kylo didn’t respect Snokey, he did hold his grandfather’s Vader person in high regards. His greatest fear is the light side of him will make it impossible for him to become as powerful as Vader was in his prime. His ideology is certainly different than Vader as he is opposed the Jedi, the Sith, the Rebels, and everything that has come before him and seeks to create the galaxy in his own image.

Wiz: The two are similar enough seeing as they are both extremely ruthless, confident, and manipulative. Kylo also shares similarities with how irresponsible, short-tempered, and conflicted Anakin used to be before becoming Vader. He is less able to control his temper and remain calm and level-headed when faced with adversity than both Anakin and Vader however.

Boomstick: No need to sugarcoat it Wiz. This Vader fan is famous for his temper tantrums

Kylo is approached by an officer that tells him that the droid managed to escape them on a cargo ship with help from Finn. In rage, Kylo ignites his lightsaber and slices the control panel in front of him into pieces while officer watches in fear.

Kylo finds out that Rey has escaped her cell and in response starts to scream in rage and slash his lightsaber around wildly. The two stormtroopers who are about to walk past take a few steps backwards before turning around and walking back the way they came

Boomstick: That never stops being funny. Let’s next talk about that weird lightsaber of his.

Wiz: Ren’s red crossguard lightsaber is crudely designed off an ancient design dating back to an event known as the Scourge of Malachor and operates using a cracked Kyber crystal. It thus has an unstable blade, necessitating the use of exhaust ports to channel and vent the weapon's excess energy so that it would not overload. The excess energy served as the lightsaber's crossguards. It is said that a lightsaber can cut any materials even though there are things lightsabers cant cut or are resistant to them.

Boomstick: Because of legends cannon being discontinued COUGHsomething I am still upset aboutCOUGH, a lot of things which can resist a lightsaber to a degree no longer exist. A couple of metals like Phrik, Cortosis, Neuranium, Beskar, and Armorweave however do exist in cannon.

Wiz: Weapons like a Z-6 Riot Control Baton have also been known to deflect lightsaber due to conducting energy which allows them to do so.

Boomstick: Speaking lightsaber resistant materials, do you think materials such as vibranium or adamantium could be cut by a lightsaber?

Wiz: I am surprised you am actually interested in things other than how to blow stuff up for a change. It is an interesting question but it is hardly relevant right now.

Boomstick: With this awesome lightsaber, Kylo has fought multiple powerful foes like Finn, Rey, and Snoke's Praetorian Guards as well as easily deflecting multiple blaster bolts through his career.

Wiz: Before continuing further, we need to make something clear and that is the events surrounding the battle of starkiller base between Kylo and Rey and Finn. The Kylo we saw here was not at his full potential because of Chewbecca's blaster and being weakened after killing his father.

Boomstick: Yeah it is kind of unfair not to take this into consideration when analyzing this moment. The blaster of Chewbecca's caused him to double over in pain for example while armored Stormtroopers have been sent blasted through air and killed instantly by it in the past and Snoke himself stated the reason he lost to Rey is due to becoming unbalanced after killing his father. Even Luke agreed that Ren's prowess was far greater than Rey's. That the Vader fanboy managed to do so much during this battle makes it clear that he is still highly skilled even when being in a weakened state. It also proves he has a high pain tolerance.

Wiz: His dark side powers certainly helped him stay alive in this battle as he was able to use the dark side to increase his physical abilities to the point that he managed to cut ahead of Rey and Finn despite there being a considerable distance between them. Using the pain as fuel, he managed to use his connection to the dark side to amplify his prowess.

Boomstick: Even with a couple of handicaps, Ren dominated Finn in a lightsaber duel receiving only a hit to his shoulder in the process. He also dominated the majority of his and Reys first battle until the girl got her second wind and managed to force him on the defensive resulting him being sliced several times by a lightsaber. Not shabby for a handicapped badass.

Wiz: When taking this battle as well as their last fight located on the ruins of the death star, it paints a rather clear picture. Ren won that fight and would have killed Rey if it hadn’t been for Leia contacting him through the force distracting him long enough for Rey to stab him with his own lightsaber. His high pain tolerance can be seen her also as he was able to stay alive long enough for Rey to force heal him.

Boomstick: His track record during this fight is far more impressive than their first fight as he managed to doge several of Reys lightsaber slashes before activating his own. He also used his force abilities here to do a force jump to leap over a great distance. Another example of him being the better fighter is during his and Reys battle with the Praetorian Guards.

Wiz: Snoke’s Praetorian Guards have been trained kill force sensitives and the fact that he managed fight off 4 of them at once and kill them all speaks of his skill. It should be noted that he was eventually caught off-guard and would have been killed if it hadn’t been for Rey’s assistance. Kylo Ren is powerful but not invincible.

Boomstick: Luke Skywalker for example is still leagues above Kylo. He might have been trained by the man but that does not mean he is even close to his former master both in the force and lightsaber skills. His experience trumps Darth Vader Juniors. Luke might have been a projection during their fight but he still managed to dodge all of Kylos lightsaber swings legitimately like a boss.

Wiz: Him being able to momentarily knock Luke out during the attempted murder attempt causing the hut to collapse onto him as they clashed blades is impressive though.

Boomstick: Another opponent who far outclasses him is Snoky whose force lightning took him completely by surprise. Kylo killed him when his full attention was on Rey and didn’t notice that the lightsaber besides him activated on his own and bisected him. Kylo defeated him with a surprise attack; not in a duel of force powers or lightsabers unfortunately.

Wiz: The main reason for this is because the internal conflicts inside his head with the light he wants to so get rid that does not want to leave. Because of this, Ren has a harder time to use his force powers when under pressure. As he is, Kylo Ren is less powerful than Vader, Luke, Leia, and Snoke when it comes to the force in many ways.

Boomstick: He did outperform Vader in aspect though; killing a gigantic Zillo Beast something which not even Darth Vader as Anakin was able to accomplish from due to the scales of the beast being able to repel lightsabers. How did he do it you ask? Basically allowed himself to be eaten and cut his way out from the inside. Talk about dying from indigestion.

Wiz: Awesome? More like disgusting.

Boomstick: You have no taste Wiz. Anyway, Kylo is still about equal with Rey though due to their force bond. This was given to them by Snoke which Palpatine seemed surprised by as if the bond between the two was extremely rare and had nothing to do with Snoke? This force bond is really confusing once you look into it. At least it gives them the ability to use force video messaging.

Wiz: It doesn’t make much sense but it is powerful enough to power up Palpatine to ridiculous levels once he stole it from Ren and Rey.

Boomstick: Ridiculous is too nice of a word. Being able to use force lightning strong enough take down multiple ships flying above is stupidly overpowered.

Wiz: Speaking of Palpatine, Kylo eventually joined Rey in her fight against the emperor after having sensed Leia death and spoken to the memory of his father resulting in him reclaiming the name of Ben Solo for the final fight.

Boomstick: Again a bit too late to change sides but whatever.

Wiz: Fighting the knight of ren with no weapon and managing to keep his own until Rey teleported a lightsaber into his hand allowing him to easily kill them all and being forced push so hard by Palpatine that he slammed into a cliff and down into large gap in the floor made it so it was really Rey who defeated the emperor in the end. Him surviving the fall and climbing back up to use Force heal to revive Rey at the expense of his own life contributed greatly to Rey walking away from the battle unscratched however.

Boomstick: He basically sacrificed his own life for Rey while his current opponent for this death battle was brought back to life by Rapunzel? With them both being dressed in dark armors and having parental issues as well, is it just me or anybody else seeing a lot of parallels between these two other than the two being manipulated pawns?

Wiz: Regardless of how many parallels there are between todays combatants, one thing is clear. Kylo Ren might have perished alongside Ben Solo but both names will certainly become legends in a galaxy far far away,

Kylo Ren: Show me Grandfather. And I will finish what you started.

Intermission

Wiz: All right, the combatants are set, it's time to end this debate once and for all!

Boomstick: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!

Death Battle!

Kingdom of Corona:

The eclipse was slowly approaching and once it did; both the sundrop and moonstone would be hers.

Zhan Tiri, former companion of Lord Lord Demanitus and demon who once almost destroyed Corona with a magical blizzard, should be happy that she would soon receive what was rightfully hers in a couple weeks’ time as she looked out of Cassandras tower hideout onto the kingdom below.

The man in black walking around the forest towards the bridge connecting to the main town of Corona was currently souring her mood. There was something about the man that she did not like.

As if sensing he was being watched, Kylo Ren turned around and narrowed his eyes at the strange tower in the background. He could not see anyone but he could feel someone watching from the top of that tower. It did not matter anyway. One of his targets resided in that tower and once he had gotten his hand on the one in the castle on the island in the middle of the lake; whoever was watching him would be next. If the person watching wanted to confront him, the supreme leader of the First Order would gladly show them the power of the dark side of the force.

This world was primitive. It was not really worth conquering. It had not even developed space travel. If it had not been for the for the fact that coordinates of this planet had been found in Snoke’s private data vault, he would never have traveled to this pitiful world. Now that he was here however, he could feel it. The huge ripples in the force surrounding two areas on this part of the planet.

One was located on the island with castle located on it.

Another was located near the gigantic black tower.

Whatever was causing these disruptions would soon be his.

Kylo Ren: Today the First Order will receive a power that will crush any resistance. Next time we meet Rey; you will be join me or be destroyed by this power.

Zhan Tiri narrowed her eyes as Kylo started to walk towards the bridge again. This man felt wrong somehow. Who was he and why was he here? Would he be a threat to her in the future? These questions rolled around her head until one specific question caused her eyes to widen

Was he going to try and steal the sundrop?

No unknown black dressed man in a mask was going to steal what was rightfully hers. As she was sending daggers Kylos way, she did not realize that she was no longer alone.

Rising out of the ground on a pillar of black rocks was Cassandra, current holder of the moonstone, in her armor entered the room. She walked towards her throne and sat down on. Immediately her mind started to work overtime to come up with the best way to ger revenge on Rapunzel. The events of what happened between them in the caves beneath Gothels house from a few days was still clear in her mind.

The sound of someone sitting down on the throne alerted Zhan Tiri that she was no longer alone. Seeing Cassandra deep in thought gave the demon an idea. It was risky but it had to be done. The time spent being trapped in the lost realm had done more than just change her appearance into this child form and therefore Cassandra was the best alternative to deal with this new pest.

Zhan Tiri: I don’t want to disturb you Cassandra but your destiny is about to be stolen from you.

At the mention of her destiny about to be taken away, Cassandra gave the demon child a long hard look. Rocks started to grow out the floor when she got up from her throne and walked towards her associate.

Cassandra: What did you just say?

Zhan Tiri: I said your destiny is about come undone. Someone is heading towards Corona to kill the sundrop.

The image of Rapunzel’s dead body in her mind caused Cassandra face to change slightly. If one was fast enough, one would have seen the fearful expression on her face before returning to her usual angry scowl. She did not care about Rapunzel’s wellbeing. It was her fault that her mother was dead. Why did she suddenly feel scared though at the thought of Rapunzel being killed?

More importantly however; someone was about to try to steal the sundrop? Not on her watch!

Cassandra: No they won’t. Whatever happens to Rapunzel will done by my hand and no one else.

With that she jumped out of the tower and landed on a large spike generated from the side of the tower that acted as a elevator that slowly started to descend her down from the clouds.

Cassandra: No one is going to steal my destiny. I won’t be waiting in the wings ever again.

Zhan Tiri watched the whole thing amusement. Whatever was going to happen, she had perfect seat to watch it from afar. This was going to be fun.

Zhan Tiri: Whoever that man is, he won’t stand a chance against the full powers of the moon stone.

Down on the ground, Kylo Ren was deep in thought as he neared the bridge. He had considered bringing a couple of stormtroopers with him or alerting anyone where he was going. Seeing as he was about confront something powerful with the force, maybe he should have brought some backup. It was impervious however that this information did not fall into the hands of resistance and with him starting to suspect Hux of having ulterior motives; this was indeed the smartest course of action

Sounds of something behind him approaching alerted him of incoming danger and in response; he force jumped into the air and landed on the branch of nearby. A large black spike grew up out of the ground just as his feet left the ground. A smile appeared on his face under the mask as he realized the disruption from the tower felt closer than before.

Kylo Ren: Interesting. So it seems one of the sources has come for me.

The next spike generated right below the tree cleaving it in two as Kylo leapt off to the ground only meet the gaze of Cassandra stepping out of the shadows of the forest.

Kylo Ren: I can sense great amounts of anger in you. That won’t save you however. Give me what I desire and I might spare your life.

Cassandra: You want me to give my destiny to you? I don’t follow anyone’s orders anymore. Especially a loser dressed like the grim reaper of all things.

The supreme leader narrowed his eyes at the woman in front of her. His opponent was making fun of him. That would cost her. She was powerful and would therefore be a worthy opponent for someone trying to live up to the legacy of Darth Vader.

The bearer of the moonstone gave her opponent an analyzing look. Something was off about this guy though she could not tell exactly why. It did not matter however. Anyone trying to steal her destiny would suffer at the end of her shadow blade.

With those thoughts in their minds, Kylo ignited his lightsaber and Cassandra removed the shadow blade from its sheath on her back.

Cassandra: You made a mistake coming here!

Kylo Ren: I will show you the dark side!

FIGHT!

As their blades clashed, both fighters noticed something that made them inwardly scream. Their faces however remained neutral as they realized what was going.

How had that primitive blade not been sliced in two by his lightsaber?

How did that saber of light block a strike from her shadow blade?

Kylo canceled their clash by jumping backward and sent a force push towards his opponent at the same time. The attacks hit Cassandra who was knocked into the side of a tree. Kylo had no time to capitalize on the opportunity to continue his attack as two black rock formation in the shape of hands appeared besides him.

Cassandra: Was that your best attempt? Raps has hit me harder than this.

The fact that his opponent got up on her feet without even a scratch made Kylo angry but he had no time to worry about it as the hands tried to grab him. His lightsaber proved to be useless against these rocks so he tried another tactic. Using force stasis, he was able to slow down the hands long enough to escape their reach.

Didn’t make much difference however as black rocks started generated from the ground and tried to impale him almost immediately afterwards. Kylos speed allowed him to dodge them as he charged Cassandra.

The lightsaber never reached its target as a black rock sprung up from the ground and parried the lightsaber swing. Cassandra couldn’t help but let out a chuckle as a spike grew out of the rocks and managed to pierce the supreme leader’s shoulder even though he tried to dodge.

Cassandra: That sword of yours might be able to parry the black rocks but it is not powerful enough to cut them. Too bad for you.

The shock of her blade being parried had worn off. Maybe this guy was not as dangerous as she had though. She would give no mercy though. Killing Rapunz…..stealing the sundrop was a huge offense

Gritting his teeth in pain, Kylo force jumped into the air and grabbed a couple of trees in the vicinity and threw them at the bearer of the moonstone. A couple of black rocks immediately sprung out of the ground and impaled the trees in midair. Cassandras momentary change of focus allowed her opponent however to quickly close the distance between the two once he landed on the ground. It was not enough however as Cassandra noticed him at the last second and parried with the shadow blade. Once again, the two blades clashed.

If this girl though stabbing him in the shoulder was enough to defeat him, Kylo Ren would show just how insignificant she was compared to him. Her abilities were impressive but not enough to match him in skill.

Kylo Ren: You are strong but……

By canceling the clash and putting up a force barrier around him momentarily, Cassandra was sent sliding backwards as Kylo then went on the offensive and forced her on the defensive. Kylo Ren’s slashes were so ferocious that Cassandra could not even attempt to try and strike back at him. Cassandra might have been trained by the captain of Coronas royal guards but this guy’s swordsmanship was on another level.

Kylo Ren: I am the one who shall be the supreme ruler of the entire Galaxy.

Cassandra bit back a curse as her sword was sent flying out of her hand and was forced to create another blade from the armor covering her hurt hand to parry the next strike.

Kylo Ren: Do not underestimate me or the dark side.

A force push followed up by using telekinesis to grab the shadow blade and throw it at her resulted in his opponent being only dazed somewhat to his disappointment. The blade colliding with the armor didn’t dent it in the slightest.

Kylo was about force pull her towards him but Cassandra had other ideas as the ground started to shake around her

Cassandra: Now that's more like it. Can you handle this though?

Two large pillars of black rocks shot out from underneath both combatants ascending Cassandra into the air while the one underneath Kylo hit him so hard that he was launched into the air. The Pillar Cassandra was standing on immediately started to produce spikes to impale Kylo on. The supreme leader managed to dodge by grabbing the nearest one and used force jump to land on the top of the pillar besides his opponent.

The pillar staring to descend rapidly once his feet touched the top of it caused Kylo to lose his balance somewhat giving the bearer of the moonstone time to duck under his lightsaber swing with ease and counterattack with a punch to the face cracking his mask.

Before he could react, Cassandra grabbed Kylo by the neck and flipped him over her shoulder off the pillar towards the ground. She however was also sent falling to the ground as a force pull was used to sent her down to the ground as well. They both managed to soften their landings though with force barrier and black armor respectively dampening the impact.

This girl was more skilled than he had given her credit for. Maybe taking the power from someone so experienced with using it was a bad idea when he had no idea how it works. Trying to recruit her would have been a much smarter idea.

Kylo Ren: Impressive display. I could use someone like you on my side. Join the First Order and together we could do great things

Cassandra did not know what this First Order was but it sounded suspicious and she was not about to share her destiny with some else. It belonged to her and only her. Not Rapunzel and not certainly him and his weird mask.

Cassandra: Did I not tell you before. No one is allowed to tell me what to do anymore

Kylo could not help but sight heavily; why did all the people he offered to serve besides him as equals reject him? First Rey and now this girl. Did they not understand. The old ways of the galaxy needs to be destroyed to create something new and much better world.  He would do what his grandfather could not.

Kylo ren: Have it your way then. You would have made a good ally.

A barrage of black rock heading his way made it even more clear what Cassandra thought of that idea. Seeing that he had lost his lightsaber in the fall, Kylo quickly used the force to have his weapon fly back into his grip as he rolled to the side. His attempt to do the same with the shadow blade ended with failure as the ground suddenly disappeared below him.

The creation of a giant sinkhole gave Cassandra a chance to reclaim her weapon. A black rock from bellow the blade caused it to be sent twirling through the air into Cassandras good hand. Knowing that falling into a sinkhole would not be enough to take down her opponent, black rocks started to converse together to block the entrance.

As Kylo came force jumping out the sinkhole just in time to avoid being trapped, Cassandra sent a couple of black rock pillars his way while Kylo sent a force push towards her. Both combatants avoided the respective attacks by dodging to the side before running towards one another about to clash their blades once again.

Kylo won the clash pushing Cassandra backwards slightly but that didn’t really faze his opponent as she had a smile on her face. She was up to something and he didn’t like it. He did not get the chance to follow with an attack as he was forced to retreat due spikes once again trying to impale him from below.

Cassandra: Time to try a little trick you once taught me Raps. Wither and decay, End this destiny, Break thes….

Sensing the danger, Kylo immediately went into action and used his telekinesis to slam Cassandra into the ground several times before using force stasis to keep her from moving. Cassandra was too dizzy to continue the incantation after that. She was trying to move her body furiously to use her powers but it simply did not want to listen to her.

Kylo Ren: I don’t know what you were trying to do. Let me find out through by opening your mind to me.

She could feel it. She did not know how but her opponent had somehow managed to infiltrate her head. She saw all her memories from her childhood. She saw her memories of Rapunzel. She saw the memories of her betraying her friends. She saw her memories of her doubts and insecurities about her dark path. She saw her greatest fear. Cassandra did not like this one bit and with a loud furious scream; hundreds of rocks started to grow sporadically throughout the area.

Cassandra: GET OUT OF MY HEAD.

The huge amount of rocks that came out of nowhere took Kylo by surprise as he felt one pierce his right leg disrupting his concentration. He was cursing behind his cracked mask. The supreme leader had been sure he had immobilized her enough to prevent any more rocks from being created.

To avoid any fatal injuries, Kylo dodged to the best of his ability until the bombardment stopped and the area was filled with hundreds of black rocks. At their epicenter stood Cassandra with a murderous look on her face with her shadow blade ready to strike. No one invades her mind and gets away with it.

Kylo Ren was about to charge into the fray not about to be intimidated by this display of when he noticed something weird. Some of the rocks had changed color.

Kylo Ren: Red Rocks? Fascinating but do not think that will sav…..

?????: Ben!

A very familiar voice coming from behind him made Kylo for a moment to forget about everything around him. He all but forgot the reason for traveling to this planet and the opponent he was currently facing as he turned around to look at the source of the voice.

The only thing on his mind now was the fact his dead father Han Solo was standing in front of him with a sad smile on his face.

Kylo Ren:  How? This cant be possible. This is a trick. You can’t be here. I killed you alongside the light within me.

Han Solo said nothing as Kylo continued to rant on about how this should not be happening.

Kylo Ren: Whoever you are is not my father. I won’t be seduced back to the light side of the force.

With a scream, Kylo Ren swung his lightsaber at Han only to stop a millimeter from his face as he started to speak.

Han Solo: It is still not too late to give up this dark path. Your mother is waiting for you.

Kylos brain was starting overload as one part of him wanted to strike this imposter down while the other did not. Why was he hesitating? He had already killed his father once. He could do it again right?

Cassandra was looking at her enemy who was screaming like a madman and probably having a terrified expression under his mask with a devious look in her eyes. She had not meant to create the fear rocks but this was what he deserved for forcing her to relive her memories. Sweet revenge indeed.

Mental torture wasn’t enough however. He deserves a painful death. No one gets to try and steal her destiny without some serious repercussions.

Cassandra: It seems you have forgotten one of most important rules of combat; don’t ever loose sight of your opponent.

With a malicious laugh courtesy of Cassandra, a large spike appeared in front of Kylo and pierced him right through the stomach. The attack hit so suddenly that Kylo coughed up blood. It wasn’t the end of his opponent’s assault however as she threw her shadow blade in the direction of his head

While still disoriented from the fact that his father was standing in front of and the pain from having his stomach pierced, he sensed the attack coming and moved his head slightly to dodge the thrown sword. The sword failed to pierce his head but it did hit the side of the mask with such force that it crumbled to the ground in pieces.

At the sight of her opponent’s real face, Cassandra could not help but raise an eyebrow.

Casssandra: That’s what your mask hides? I don’t know what I was expecting but not something as lame as this. That scar on your face is not even that bad.

This woman dares make fun of the supreme leader of First Order? She dares to toy with his emotions by showing Han Solo alive? She dares make a mockery of the force by besting him like this? If it had been her intention to make him angry, Kylo Ren would show her anger in its most raw form.

Flailing his lightsaber around like a maniac, the supreme leader charged the bearer of the moonstone with a furious look in his face. The swings were more predictable now but also much more ferocious than before. How could this guy even fight anymore? He had a freaking hole in his chest.

Cassandra managed to dodge most the swings though some did manage to strike her. Luckily for her, the armor withstood the blows from the lightsaber. The impacts were strong enough though to send her sliding backwards.

Cassandra: You are more skilled than me that I will concede. You still however pale compared to the power of the moonstone.

As Kylo went in for another furious barrage of lightsaber swings, the moonstone embedded in her armor started to glow and released a shockwave of blue energy which sent him flailing into one of the many black rocks covering the battlefield.

The black rocks closest to Kylo suddenly changed shape into that of a wolfs heads as they moved towards him at fast speed. Using a force barrier to keep them away, he didn’t notice until it was too late that he had walked into a trap as large cage had formed around him. The wolf heads had been a diversion  

Not caring that his lightsaber had not managed to cut them before, swing after swing of the lightsaber assaulted the cage with no result. Kylo Ren was too full of rage to comprehend his situation as the wall of the cage remained unbroken.

Kylo Ren: I won’t accept this. I killed Snoke. I am the supreme leader. I won’t lose here.

Cassandra: Your time is up. You were destined to lose from the beginning. The black rocks are completely under my control.

In his desperation and anger, Kylo Ren stretched out his hand to force choke his opponent to death only for him to lose focus immediately as the cage started to fill up with black rocks from the ground. He desperately again tried to perform the force choke only for a spike to pierce his arm.

Deep in his mind, he knew the battle was over. He was going to lose. The supreme leader wasn’t about to accept this however in his furious state.

He still had one more ace in the hole left after all.

Cassandra narrowed her eyes as her opponent had seemingly calmed down a little now and was looking out of the cage with neutral look on his face.

Kylo Ren: You really should have accepted my offer.  

The explosive force that suddenly burst out of the cage and throughout the battlefield was powerful that the ground started to crack, trees were splintered into many different pieces, and a part the bridge over the water crumbled. Cassandra herself was sent flying through the air before she crash landed straight into the lake.

This was all the work of Kylo Rens Force Repulson.

The supreme leader himself was laying on the ground unable to move a single muscle. He was still in the cage as the black rocks had all survived the assault. Kylo Ren did not care about that however. Their mistress was currently drowning at the bottom of the lake. He had won. Of course, he was too weak to go diving at the moment so activating his distress beacon might be in order. Black rocks suddenly sprouted from the ground and encased Kylo in a cocoon head to toe. Darkness soon clouded his vision and while he could not see her, He could hear the bearer of the moonstone in the distance

Cassandra: You lost the game. Now die! That’s your destiny.

Rising out of the water on a giant pillar of black rocks, Cassandra looked down on the battlefield soaked with malicious expression on her face. As she started to make as squishing motion with her hand, Kylo could feel himself being crushed into nothingness as the cocoon closed in on him.

A couple more seconds and her opponent would be dead. One part of her was seriously reconsidering squishing the person down below. The part of Cassandra that still had some doubts if this was right way to take her destiny. Cassandra dismissed these thoughts at once. Regardless of what happens, she had gone too far anyway. Her opponent would die regardless because of his injuries so why not just finish him right her and now.

Cassandra: Goodbye masked man!

As he felt his life coming to an end, he could see his father clearly in his mind offering him his hand. It seems like he was about to join the light after. The thought of both pleased and frightened him

Kylo Ren: Father I….

That was the last think Kylo Ren AKA Ben Solo uttered before being frozen in fear turning into a red glowing statue. He didn’t remain that way for long as his entire body was turned to mush

KO!

The battle was over but unfortunately it had attracted some attention. Cassandra could see out of the corner of her eyes that citizens of Corona was slowly making their way over the broken bridge to see what all the commotion was about. She really didn’t feel like taking on Rapunzel in combat or listening to her former friend trying to convince her to abandon her path. She was tired enough as it was right now. What made her even more annoyed is that at that moment; Hector and Adira came running out of the forest with their weapons raised.

Cassandra: You’re late. Just my luck that you arrive once the battle is finished. Go back to what you were doing before.

Both of the brainwashed minions bowed before disappearing back from whence they came. The bearer of the moonstone however went and reclaimed her shadow blade before using some of her remaining strength to push the cocoon filled with what remained of her opponent into the lake. The thought of Rapunzel thinking her a murder did not sit well with Cassandra for some reason.

As she was about to leave however, Cassandra saw the lightsaber laying damaged but still functional on the ground.

Cassandra: The guy might have been annoying but he definitely had a good taste in swords

Results

Boomstick: There is one upside with him dying; he will finally meet his idol. I don’t think old bucket breath would approve of his grandsons actions though.

Wiz: Kylo Ren might have been unable to come out on top but he did have plenty of advantages going into this fight like training, intelligence, and agility.

Boomstick: The fact that the Darth Vader wannabe has superior training is no surprise. Having been trained by one the greatest jedi and the creation of one most powerful sith lords in existence very much trumps the training regime of a captain hailing from a small kingdom. That’s not saying that the former lady-in-waiting is not well-trained. She certainly has feats that prove this as well as being fluent in more weaponry.

Wiz: This is true for intelligence and agility as well. While Cassandra has shown plenty of great feats in these areas, Kylo Ren’s are more impressive. His experiences with leading the First Order to victory automatically makes him a better tactician while his force powers increasing his physical abilities combined with his training trumps her agility. Being able to react to a blaster bolt in midair makes Kylo superior in speed as well especially reaction speed.

Boomstick: Since we are talking about speed and agility, lets mention that the two poor unfortunate paws are rather similar in terms of durability and strength. Cassandra has been known to take a lot of punishment with her own natural durability and keep on going while Kylos pain tolerance is pretty incredulously high. Playing tug of war with a collapsing bridge and cutting huge automatons trumps being able to cut a control panel to pieces in a funny temper tantrum. Having a lightsaber makes up for the lack of strength in theory though.

Wiz: If this had been just a battle without their powers, Cassandra would have lost to Kylo Ren after a very well fought battle. With their abilities however included, Cassandras moonstone powers proved far more efficient than the dark side of the force. The black rocks in particular basically nullified a majority of Kylo Ren’s Force Powers.

Boomstick: Don’t believe us? Then we will just have to prove you wrong. Her sweet black armor for example basically makes throwing her around with telekinesis either using force pull or force throw basically useless. That armor is just too tough for conventional means to get though its defenses. It can’t even be scratched by the shadow blade. Force repulson would be equally useless against it as well. Let’s not freaking forget the fact the armor is tougher than those rocks which are almost impervious to damage already. Tanking a full blast of sun at the maximum capacity of Rapunzel’s power proves this for a fact. There were no way any force power could even crack that armor.

Wiz: Now probably a lot of you will say that her head would a huge weak spot and you would be correct to an extent. She has her head exposed all the time and that includes the time the combined effort of sun and moon pulverizing the entire throne room of black rocks. Cassandras did not lose her head that day so the moonstone powers must give her a durability boost even without the armor.

Boomstick: As for Force stasis and force choke, remember that the black rock reacts to emotions so being immobilized wont really stop the rocks from generating out of the ground. Force choke in fact would probably be the worst thing Kylo could do in this situation. It takes some time to be choked out giving the girls emotions enough time to turn the entire area into a pincushion and turn everything into Swiss cheese.  

Wiz: Telepathy and mind probe would also be highly advisable to avoid as this would likely cause similar incident as with force choke but with tons of red fear rocks instead. Cassandra has not used the red rocks in combat but having someone invading her mind to look for fears and weaknesses would activate them automatically.

Boomstick: Basically using one of his favorite pastimes of mental torture will really bite him the ass as he already has parental issues to fill a starship. The probability of him being weakened from this like he was at the end of The Force Awakens is very likely. Regardless of being in a weakened state or not, him being able to use the force at all is questionable due to the sheer speed and ferocity of the black rocks disrupting his focus.

Wiz: The force VS black rocks however was not the tipping point in Cassandras favor. That would be this question; Could a lightsaber cut through the black rocks?

Boomstick: The answer is…….complicated. Very Complicated

Wiz: In order to find out if a lightsaber could cut through the black rocks, we first had to analyze the materials that has blocked or resisted the weapon in the past. Most of these were first introduced in the legends cannon and while a lot of them has appeared in regular cannon; some have not been proven as of this moment to be able to block lightsaber as they did in the old cannon. Weapons capable of blocking lightsabers are more common though like Electrostaffs and Z-6 Riot Control Batons. This proves that there are things which can block lightsabers.

Boomstick: Next let’s compare the blade to the black rocks. Seeing as they are the creations of one half of an ancient power, it makes very much sense why these things are so hard to get rid off. The world of Tangled has never really seem anything like a lightsaber before though and I can guarantee that the blade of plasma could cut through any medieval weapon thrown at it with ease. Lava also pales compared to plasma. We still can’t however rule out the fact that despite never seeing the black rocks being able to handle something as hot as a lightsaber; it does not mean it wouldn’t be able to happen

Wiz: Believe us when we say that researching the answer to this question was nightmare. The breaking point however came with the realization that the moonstone can produce energy. Remember that weapons like the Z-6 Riot Control Baton can conduct enough energy to block a lightsaber? The black rocks which have known time to time to spark with blue energy when created is likely much tougher than this weapon and the energy given to them by the moonstone is probably much greater as well. This is more evident once you realize they can produce blue shockwaves of energy just like the moonstone as like the time when the rocks enveloped both Rapunzel and Cassandra in an explosion and transmitted some of their powers into Rapunzel’s hair.

Boomstick: Him not being able cut these rocks into pieces basically sealed this battle. Even if the black rocks could somehow be affected by our favorite space sword, it would take some incredible strength to slice them in half. Liam Neeson had a hard time cutting through a couple of blast doors once so Kylo would have a similar time if he could cut them to pieces. Regardless of how fast he is or how proficient he is with op force abilities; he would not be able to dodge and fight back forever without a way to cut himself loose if trapped. Pinning him down or trapping him in a cage was basically game over for Darth Ren.

Wiz: They might have both redeemed themselves but Cassandra didn’t just get revived in the end; she also came out victorious in this death battle due to superior abilities.

Boomstick: Cassandra just rocked Kylo Ren into pieces.

Wiz: The Winner is Cassandra.
