Redshock: Carnage, the serial killer Symbiote of Cletus Kasady
Mortician: Tomura Shigaraki, Leader of the League of Villains.
Redshock: Villains come in all shapes and sizes with motivations ranging from Money, Power, Acceptance, Betrayal
Mortician: Or they could be mentally unstable killing machines and our two combatants are real experts in that
Carnage rips and tears into DEATH BATTLE![]
Redshock: During Spider-Man's career as a hero, he's attained a large number of foes, Green Goblin, Electro. Rhino, Kraven and only a few could even match the Spider-Man of New York City in a fight.
Mortician: And one of those people is Eddie Brock, who would join with an alien parasite known as a symbiote to become Venom. But little did Eddie know that his symbiote carried a secret...
Redshock: It was pregnant! Eventually oozing out the spawn after he and the symbiote reunited after being separated for a while. Ah, the miracle of birth.
Mortician: But what wasn't a miracle, but a terrible turn of events, this Offshoot Symbiote, as it can be called, ended up bonding to the worst possible person. The serial killer Cletus Kasady.
Redshock: Convicted for over 11 murders, or at least the ones they found out about, Cletus was sentenced to a large number of life sentences in prison when he got Eddie Brock as a cellmate. Luckily Venom returned to Brock and helped him escape prison
Mortician: But Cletus was cut during the breakout and the symbiote’s baby attached itself to Cletus bonding to his bloodstream, constructing for the serial killer a suit made of his own blood. And turning Cletus Kasady into the infamous Carnage.
Redshock: Thanks to the symbiote, Carnage has a wide array of powers to use for his killing sprees kind of like Venom's own capabilities, but on a far more increased scale, considering that younger Symbiotes are stronger than their predecessors.
Mortician: Carnage has way more speed and strength than Venom, and makes way more usage of his shapeshifting abilities than he does. Like how he mimics Spider-Man's web swinging ability by creating tendrils to stick to buildings.
Redshock: Carnage is capable of creating blades and tendrils from his own body, perfect for stabbing and dicing anything that cuts too close to him. Even if they aren't, he can always hurl these organically generated blades at them, which will break down on the chance they will miss.
Mortician: And chances are pretty low of this happening away, since Carnage possesses 180 degree field of vision, meaning he can see whatever is happening around him. This 360 degree vision appears to be Carnage’s answer to the Spider-Sense, although he still lacks its early-warning feature.
Redshock: In a twisted reflection of how a Symbiote is able to possess other beings, Carnage can use this effect to corrupt and torture others for his own sick amusement. Finally, he possesses an incredibly fast healing factor, allowing him to regenerate just as fast as he is damaged
Mortician: He's also very fast, like most serial killers, able to keep pace with Spider-Man. According to our research, Spider-Man was able to react at Mach 7500+ to break a flying piece of building.
Redshock: Carnage is a pretty messed up dude and the whole of the Marvel universe knows this, having battled against the Avengers, Doctor Doom, Iron Man, Deadpool and both Spider-Man and Venom at the same time. But It's a good thing Carnage has some weaknesses to exploit
Mortician: Like all Symbiotes, Carnage is extremely vulnerable to heat and sound, although he was able to trade the sound-weakness for a weakness to dark magic.
Redshock: But whenever the unholy combination of the Offshoot Symbiote and Cletus Kasady rears its ugly head, expect nothing but maximum carnage
Carnage: “All I ever wanted in this circus of hell is carnage”.
Shigaraki gives his All For One in DEATH BATTLE![]
Mortician: In a world where 80% of the Earth’s population possesses some supernatural ability or Quirk, as they’re called, you shouldn’t be surprised that many would use their powers to become heroes to protect the innocent with smiles on their faces
Redshock: But as the responsibilities of a hero becomes more clear, the harsh reality makes everyone remember that even heroes aren’t capable of saving everyone. Such was the tragic history of Tenko Shimura.
Mortician: Though Tenko always wanted to be a hero, he grew up in constant pain due to severe itches from an unknown allergy, and abuse from his hero-hating father, who blamed the profession for his mother abandoning him.
Redshock: One fateful day, during a particularly vicious incident, Tenko developed his own Quirk. Within an instant, he unintentionally murdered his entire family, leaving him as an orphan, wandering the streets in search of help.
Mortician: No matter where he went, however, his pleas were always ignored, until he met a mysterious man named All For One. He sympathized with Tenko, convincing him that society was to blame for his suffering, and taking him under his tutelage to become his successor.
Redshock: It was then that All For One gifted Tenko the disembodied hands of not only his victims, but also his family. Forever after, Tenko Shimura died and was reborn as Tomura Shigaraki.
Mortician: The Quirk Shigaraki was born with, Decay is one of the most dangerous Quirks to ever exist. By placing all five of his fingers into contact with an object, Shigaraki can cause said object to decay and eventually be reduced into nothing
Redshock: Tomura can use this Quirk to get in close and all he needs is to touch someone and their a goner, but after getting his memories back he had gotten way stronger, he can even extend his Quirk to the ground to the point where it can coat entire cities in destruction at a rapid speed.
Mortician: Shigaraki can even decay a target without needing to put all five fingers on them, he also unlocked a Fear Aura, where his mere presence has been shown capable of stirring incredible amounts of fear in the people around him.
Redshock: As part of the effort to make Shigaraki the strongest villain ever, Dr. Garaki put Tomura through a living hell, constantly tearing him apart and even putting him in a state of suspended death at times. The result was a body on par with All Might, granting Shigaraki enhanced strength, speed, and durability. His body would be further perfected, reaching the statistics All Might demonstrated in his prime.
Mortician: After merging with All For One, Shigaraki can generate hundreds of large arms and fingers from his body capable of grabbing opponents, and can even transfer Decay from each hand for a much larger area of effect. These arms can also manifest mouths to hold down opponents or bite their limbs off, or to remove things such as toxins from Shigaraki’s body.
Redshock: One of the strongest Quirks to ever exist alongside its “brother” One For All, All For One allows Shigaraki to absorb the Quirks of others and take them for himself. The Quirk also allows him to give Quirks he himself has absorbed to other people. He can combine Decay with this Quirk to immediately kill the victim he drains the quirks of.
Mortician: He can use all kinds of Quirks like Air Walk, Explosion, Black Lightning, Air Cannon, Radio Waves becoming a Quirk Powerhouse with a ton of Quirks for him to use on any occasion.
Redshock: There’s a reason why Shigaraki is a huge threat to Japan, he is so strong he can create explosions with the last of One For All’s strength and that can equal to almost 60 Tons of TNT. He has defeated well known Pro Heroes like Endeavor, Best Jeanist, Mirko, and the UA Big 3. And started the League of Villains, which sent Japan spiraling into chaos for many months.
Mortician: Despite his gained maturity and absurd power, Shigaraki is still not unbeatable. Even with the increase in power bestowed on him by All For One. Shigaraki also has an aggressive and chaotic fighting style, meaning a fast and smart enough opponent could exploit that and get some hits in.
Redshock: Shigaraki is not going to be able to use all of his Quirks at once. All For One himself has even forgotten some of the minor specifics of some of the Quirks he has stolen
Mortician: But Shigaraki is no one to mess with, if you see this creepy man with the hands of his family on his body, don’t let him touch you.
Shigaraki: “"I'll carve a path through the world… even if it means destroying everything in my way."
DEATH BATTLE![]
Prologue[]
Shigaraki woke up from a nap, it was still dark but he was in the mood for something exciting, he put on his suit and headed outside, he saw someone alone, a man with red hair was walkin on the street behind another man, suddenly he shoved him in an alley and Shigaraki followed behind, he soon witnessed the art of Carnage, Carnage had appeared and brutally murdered the man while laughing horrifically.
“Huh, what an interesting Quirk you have their?”, Carnage turned around “oh another toy for me to play with, hope I don’t break you!” and laughed again. “Trust me you can try to break me, but you’ll rot before you do”. “Oh I like to see that!”.
FIGHT![]
Carnage would make the first move as he attempted to stab Shigaraki with his tendrils, but speed was on Shigaraki's side as he dodged them quickly, before using Air Cannon to send Carnage flying through a building and landing in the middle of the street. Carnage screeched as he ran at him again, shooting tendrils that were dodged with ease, one did manage to cut his shoulder Carnage said”Blood, it tastes delicious!”
Carnage would lick the blood up as Shigaraki activated Springlike Limbs, allowing him to jump back to create distance, Carnage makes 2 small clones and sends them after him Shigaraki would rush both of the clones and slammed them down, decaying them, he would then use Air Cannon again, causing Carnage to dodge.
Shigaraki uses Springlike Limb putting it in his fist, Carnage would make a Scythe out of his arm, running towards Shigaraki “Let's see if you keep up with this!” Carnage would deliver cuts all over Shigaraki, but he just smiled and took blow after blow, he decays his clothes leaving nothing but his shorts as he delivers a sidekick to Carnage. Shigaraki laughs “Now, the Symbol of Fear, is really ready to play!”.
Carnage was getting irritated and started slicing Shigaraki’s body but Shigaraki could only laugh instead of crying out in pain. Carnage flew into the air with his wings and hid from Shigaraki. Until Shigaraki activated Search and saw Carnage in the air, Carnage would shoot tendrils and webs that Shigaraki dodged and disappeared from Carnage’s line of sight.
“How are you not dead!” Carnage screeched, “You can’t kill for what’s already dying!”, Shigaraki then shot several Black Tendrils from his Quirk Rivet Stab and tied Carnage up and lifted him in the air, Carnage managed to break free and fly again, only Shigaraki had Air Walked and jumped on Carnage’s back and touched his wings causing them to decay and started to fall, only Carnage three Shigaraki off of him as he webbed a tree and landed on his feet to safety. But Shigaraki was nowhere to be found.
Shigaraki spoke as his voice echoed around Carnage in the dark empty city “I told you this before, I am the symbol of Fear, and you are ash!”. Shigaraki then used Rivet Stab again and sliced both of Carnage’s arms, but he quickly healed from them and turned his arms into scythe’s and swung in the air with his tendrils and sliced at Shigaraki but he quickly dodged his attack.
Carnage shot several of his webbing but Shigaraki then used Scatter and redirected the wedding at Carnage and wrapped him up in his own webs. But Carnage managed to get out and rushed at Shigaraki in full force with his Axe hands until Shigaraki activated Radio Waves, hitting Carnage, causing the Symbiote to yell and reveal some of Cletus's real body.
The symbol of fear would smile and had gotten the opportunity to run at Carnage and grab his exposed face and chest, and Cletus along with Symbiote decayed, and the ashes blew away in the wind. The fight ends with Shigaraki laughing as he looks up in the sky seeing the ashes of Cletus and Carnage.
Conclusion[]
Redshock: WHAT?! CARNAGE TOTALLY HAD THAT IN THE BAG?!
Mortician: Here me out, sure Carnage had a better Healing Factor, Better Range Abilities and was Faster but Shigaraki was too much for Cletus to handle.
Redshock: With 13 different quirks, Shigaraki had many ways to weaken down Carnage to where he could get his Decaying Touch which ended the fight.
Mortician: Even some of his other Quirks helped him out like Radio Waves could stun Carnage long enough for Shigaraki to touch him.
Redshock: Carnage put up a good fight but with Shigaraki’s Durability, Strength, and Variety with many Quirks had dusted Carnage in a snap.
Mortician: The winner is Tomura Shigaraki!
