History[]
Albrecht Krieger was born in the late German Empire of the early 1910s. His mother was a prostitute, and his father was her pimp. Unfortunately, he was also an abusive alcoholic who used to beat Albrecht and his brother nearly every day.
He came of age during the chaos years of the 1920s and 30s, and felt himself drawn to the National Socialist (NAZI) Party. His natural ruthlessness attracted attention, and he was eventually noticed by Adolf Hitler himself. Hitler had a super soldier program underway, so he selected Krieger to be the first Nazi superman. Thus was born Captain Nazi.
As World War 2 ground to its inevitable conclusion, a plot was hatched to spirit Hitler out of Germany in a cryogenic pod, along with a few other select Party members, including Krieger. Captain Nazi was awoken in 1995, but was appalled to find that Hitler had not survived the intervening years. He became an enemy of Captain Marvel, and later the Justice Society of America (JSA).
Captain Nazi has survived many potentially fatal attacks, but has only grown stronger over the years. Even Wonder Woman has commented on Nazi’s increasing power. Once he lost his eyes, and had to wear cybernetic goggles to allow him to see, but later his eyes regenerated themselves, and he now claims to have superhuman senses. It does seem that each any attack that does him great harm, but does not kill him, makes him even stronger than before.

Captain Nazi appears to be in his early thirties, though he is a great deal older. He is tall, and heavily muscled, with blond hair and blue eyes. His original supersite was green and yellow with epaulettes, a red cape and a large swastika on his chest. Over the years, his suit became all green, and then all black, with the epaulettes, cape and swastika remaining. His most recent suit is an austere black, without the epaulettes and cape, and the swastika is much smaller.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Flight – He can fly very fast, apparently faster than the speed of sound.
- Superhuman strength - He was able to use a large stone obelisk as a club, when fighting the Justice Society of America.
- Superhuman speed – He can move very fast, shifting the fight from opponent to opponent in rapid succession.
- Superhuman stamina - He can take large amounts of damage, get up and keep fighting.
- Invulnerability - He has withstood bullets and high temperatures. It took Damage, Hourman and Liberty Belle to bring him down.
- Hand-to-hand combat ability - An expert in hand-to-hand combat, he has taken on many different opponents, include many of the heavy hitters of the JSA and JLA.
