History[]

Long ago, before Galar as we know it came to be, Calyrex ruled over the region and its inhabitants, flourishing farmland and bringing lush vegetation to its people. It once commanded two horses known as Spectrier and Glaistrier, using them as mounts. However, over time, the people of Galar forgot about their ancient king, and even its steeds abandoned it, and it was left forgotten for centuries, save for a few rumors located around a small town called Freezington, which was in a remote corner of the Crown Tundra. However, with the help of Victor/Gloria, it was able to reunite with one of its steeds and regain its power, choosing to travel with the player as a token of gratitude.

Powers and Abilities[]

  • Plant Growth/Control
    • It has the power to grow plants in any and all forms, as plentifully as it likes (at full power)
    • The actual "control" part may just be its telekinesis, and not a separate power
  • Mind Control
    • Calyrex, even in its severely weakened form, is able to take over someone's mind with relative ease
    • The controlled individual has no recollection of ever having been controlled, believing it fell asleep or something similar for the duration
  • Precognition
    • Has the ability to see all events, past and future
  • Healing
    • Can heal anyone of near any damage or ailment
  • Dynamax
    • Based on the fact that Eternatus' Galar Particles heavily saturated the land during the Darkest Day, Calyrex is able to use its land-manipulating abilities to draw forth Dynamax Power, enabling it to Dynamax itself of its own accord, without the necessity of a trainer, Wishing Star, or Dynamax Band
    • Using this power, its Dynamaxed form glows blue, not red.
      • Obviously, it still needs to be in a spot with a high concentration of Galar Particles in order to do so.
  • Steeds' abilities
    • Glastrier's ice armour is 100 times harder than diamond - meaning it can be as wild and careless as it wants without ever being harmed
    • Spectrier can:
      • absorb the life force of any and all sleeping creatures within a certain range
      • separate soul from body with a kick
      • probe its surroundings with all of its senses (minus sight) in a Spider-sense-like fashion, more than making up for the fact that it's blind

Feats[]

  • Once ruled over all of Galar in ancient times.
  • Easily brought lush vegetation and harvests to its subjects.
  • Tamed the previously volatile Spectier and Glaistrier.
  • It can see into the past, present, and future.
  • It once moved a forest and every Pokémon living in it to a new location to save them all from a meteor strike.

Faults[]

  • After being forgotten, Calyrex lost its power
  • When without one of its steeds, it is very weak
