Tabashi: Godzilla is one of the most famous Kaiju in history, no doubt about it.
Angel: But today, we're going to go more in depth as to which Godzilla is the most powerful.
Tabashi: Burning Godzilla, the ultimate form of the Heisei era Goji.
Angel: And Super Godzilla, the coolest looking videogame Godzilla ever.
Tabashi: She's Angel and I'm Tabashi!
Angel: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skill sets to determine who's winning this Godzilla vs himself Death Battle!
Burning Godzilla[]
Tabashi: It's World War II. The nations were at each other's throats. In a small island, appropriately named Lagos Island, some Japanese and American soldiers were fighting. However, in the middle of the fight emerged a dinosaur.
Angel: But this was not any ORDINARY dinosaur! No sir! It was the Kaiju-saurus known as Godzillasaurus!
Tabashi: A 39-foot (12-meter) tall Godzillasaurus, to be exact.
Angel: The G-saurus defended the Japanese soldiers, but it was heavily injured by some battleships. Close to dying, the dinosaur was taken underwater by... time travelers... where an irradiated submarine crashed against the dinosaur, turning him into Godzilla, the King of the Monsters.
Tabashi: Base 2, to be exact. Originally, Base 1 invaded Japan, attacked and left. Then he fought a plant monster. As Base 2, he fought a three-headed dragon, and then two giant moths.
Angel: And then he fought a robot version of himself and... a crystallized, alien version of himself. What is it with all these versions of himself?
Tabashi: Hey, the Heisei era is quite complex, but still good. Anyways, after he fought SpaceGodzilla, he was suddenly filled with too much radiation. That overflow turned him into-
Angel: Burning Godzilla, the Heisei era's HOTHEAD!
Tabashi: Burning Godzilla is the Heisei Godzilla at his full power, because he reached the limit of how much radiation he can absorb.
Angel: Burning Godzilla weighs 60,000 metric tons, and stands at an impressive 328 feet (100 meters) tall. His main abilities are his Atomic Breaths; He can send regular atomic breath from his mouth (with a temperature of 500,000°C, or 900,032°F), Red Spiral Ray (which is stronger and can reach up to 900,000°C, or 1,620,032°F), and the Uranium Atomic Heat Ray, which is his hottest, most powerful attack at base form, reaching 2,160,032°F (1,200,000°C).
Tabashi: His Red Spiral Heat Ray is usually a finalizing attack, and most of the time it one-shots the target! Now, at his Burning form, he can fire a Burning Heat Ray, and his strongest attack of all his forms (and possibly all incarnations, period) is the Infinite Heat Ray!
Angel: Possibly the strongest version of the atomic breath to date, the IHR has been said to increase infinitely in power every time ol' Burnie uses it. However, this ultimate breath attack can only be usable when he... approaches meltdown.
Tabashi: Yes, which is Burning Godzilla's biggest weakness. When Godzilla Heisei has too much radiation in his body, he slowly melts, and if it's too unstable, he explodes, taking the planet with him.
Angel: Anyways, besides having empowered breaths, Heisei Godzilla also can send nuclear shockwaves from his body, regenerate pretty fast, and his skin can take attacks from meteor-destroying moths and his alien clone, who destroyed multiple planets! And since Burning Godzilla is stronger than before, that means he should be able to do all that and more!
Tabashi: Base 2 can carry and throw around his MechaGodzilla clone, who can weigh up to 150,482 metric tons. And his physical striking force allows him to destroy concrete buildings on mere contact.
Angel: By just consuming radiation, his stopped heart began beating again, and he survived his second brain (which is located near his butt) being completely destroyed (though it took Fire Rodan's energy being absorbed to be able to regenerate the brain). He can even rest in volcanoes and come out without a single scratch.
Tabashi: One of Godzilla's most impressive feats is, in fact, that when he was fighting his Space version, he defeated it with difficulty, even with the help of a weird, insect-like robot. And might I say, his Crystalline Clone has destroyed multiple planets and stars!
Angel: However, Godzilla doesn't have a very good physical fighting record. He mostly just uses his beams to prevent the enemies from touching him. You know why? Because he has those really tiny arms, and that really doesn't help things.
Tabashi: And he may be durable, and may regenerate fast, but he's not immortal. When he's in his Burning Godzilla form, he gains a significant power boost, but he's just a time bomb. In a matter of time, he could explode or have a meltdown. And if he explodes, he takes the world with him.
Angel: Still, though, Burning Godzilla is too hot to handle, and I wouldn't cross his path for a second!
Super Godzilla[]
Tabashi: In a world where invading aliens threaten all life, the fate of the planet lies in the hands of two things. One, a small group of humans-
Angel: And two, the most famous Kaiju in history: Godzilla, the King of the Monsters.
Tabashi: By controlling Godzilla via a transmitter on the Super X2, the humans led Godzilla through several cities, facing tanks, electrical towers, UFOs, and even other monsters. Those included King Ghidorah (and later Mecha-King Ghidorah), Super MechaGodzilla, Biollante, and even Battra.
Angel: Hey, when is Battra ever going to be in one of our Death Battles?
Tabashi: When the time is right.
Angel: Oh, okay. Anyways, after King Ghidorah was resurrected as Mecha-King Ghidorah, Godzilla collected three energy capsules marked "S" to go SUPER SAYAN!
(Tabashi smacks Angel upside the head)
Tabashi: Wrong character!
Angel: (rubs her head) Sorry. I meant, to enter Super Godzilla!
Tabashi: In his base form, Godzilla was able to tank the monster Bagan's energy pod form exploding at point-blank range, which ended up destroying Tokyo (big surprise). A feat like that would require 2.3-5 Gigatons of TNT in energy!
Angel: And guess what? In Super mode, Godzilla's stats get enhanced to be 2,000x greater than his base form! So that means Super G can tank hits yielding 5-9.3 Teratons of TNT in energy!
Tabashi: And also, as a side note, since Super Godzilla and Bagan's final form fought on par with each other (and Bagan's final form basically creams Super Godzilla's base form), this means Bagan's final form is 2,000x more powerful than his energy pod form.
Angel: But Bagan's a story for another day!
Tabashi: Right. Anyways, in his base form, Godzilla has the usual stuff: tail swipe, claws, teeth, Atomic Breath, you know you know. But as Super Godzilla, he's got an arsenal of abilities (that may or may not have inspired the Heisei Gamera). Like the Energy Tail, an attack that channels Super G's energy into a Tail Swipe.
Angel: Or the Explosive Shoulder Ram, which makes his opponents explode on contact with those broad ass shoulders! And of course, he has the trademark Atomic Breath, but now it's been upgraded to the orange-yellow Nova Breath!
Tabashi: In addition, the damage dealt to Super Godzilla (by bosses) is cut in half. So basically, an attack worth 2 Gigatons of TNT would actually hit Super Godzilla with only 1 Gigaton of TNT!? What a dirty trick!!! But still, we haven't even covered Super Godzilla's two toughest trump tactics yet.
Angel: And they DEFINITELY inspired the Heisei Gamera! First up is the Super Punch, which is basically Gamera's Vanishing/Banishing Fist, except Super G uses blue, atomic energy instead of orange, fiery plasma, like Gamera.
Tabashi: And if I had to guess, that Super Sockin' is probably at least twice as strong as Super G's normal attacks (which translates to 10-19 Teratons of TNT in energy). But undoubtedly, Super Godzilla's most powerful attack is his Navel Blast.
Angel: Basically, Super G's navel core (the dot on his stomach) shines as energy swirls around it. Then, Super G unleashes an amazingly powerful blast of energy that morphs into his own head and blazes through just about anything until it reaches his opponent. And it should be a LOT stronger than the Super Punch!
Tabashi: Super Godzilla's (base form) feats include tanking Bagan's energy pod form exploding at point-blank range, and defeating King Ghidorah, Super MechaGodzilla, Biollante, and Battra. (And depending on the player's choice, Mecha-King Ghidorah.)
Angel: And as Super Godzilla, he defeated Mecha-King Ghidorah (again, depending on the player's choice) and Bagan. Now, let's move on to Super G's weaknesses, because we all know that's where this is heading.
Tabashi: Well, actually, Super Godzilla doesn't really have any exploitable weaknesses.
Angel: Really? Awesome!
Tabashi: Well, except for the fact that Super G's base form is 2,000x weaker than his Super form.
Angel: Well, still, don't screw with Super Godzilla unless you want to get Super Punched into oblivion!
Death Battle![]
Tabashi: All righty then. The combatants are set, and we’ve ran the data through all possible outcomes, so let’s end this debate once and for all.
Angel: It’s time for a Death Battle!
Pre-Fight[]
Boston, Massachusetts
Burning Godzilla was having a bad day. He had killed an opponent that was very similar to him in nature, not once, but TWICE. And now he was LITERALLY stuck in this form until he died! How can this day get any worse? Burning thought to himself. But, as we all know, you should never say something like that, for it just so happened to be that there was yet ANOTHER opponent Burning was to face.
Super Godzilla was in Asia when he detected the giant explosion that created the last battle. He had just collected the three boxes marked "S", and so he transformed into Super Godzilla. Super had spent the entirety of the last fight travelling to Boston, and now that he was gazing upon Burning, Super realized that this creature was a MAJOR threat to the planet. That energy, Super thought to himself, is off the charts! It could destroy the planet! Well, unless I kill him first!
Burning suddenly detected a presence. It was similar to him and the other one, but different as well. Burning grunted to himself as he walked. Well, maybe if I leave it alone, it’ll leave me alone. But Super wasn’t going to do that. Thus, Super revealed himself to Burning, and got into a fighting stance. Burning narrowed his eyes, roared, and did the same.
Super made the first move, using the Energy Tail to stun Burning for just a moment. In that moment, Super charged Burning, using the Explosive Shoulder Ram to make Burning explode.
K.O.!
Tabashi: Just kidding! That’s not the end yet!
Angel: Yeah, this fight would be way too short anyway.
Super thought the job was done, so he was surprised to find Burning still standing, and very pissed off at Super. Burning charged up a Burning Heat Ray, which hit Super square in the left shoulder. Super roared in pain, accidentally stepping on a Red Orb.
Suddenly, Super began to change. His fighting spirit rose higher than that of the Tenacious Titans. I won’t be beaten!!! Super screamed in his head. Super Godzilla used his Nova Breath and Energy Tail at the same time, which actually seemed to hurt Burning. Super, fighting spirit still sky high, was starting to feel slightly drained of power (and Super knew he needed to be at his maximum potential in order to beat this look-alike), so he started looking for some other orbs.
Just as Super spotted a Yellow and Green Orb (both just a few hundred feet away), Burning suddenly sprang out from the smoke, tackling Super to the ground. Wasting no time, Burning started pummeling Super, clawing and punching at the poor Godzilla's chest and face. Super could feel his only chance (or was it his consciousness?) starting to fade away. Super had just enough left in him, however, to charge up one last blast of Nova Breath, which ended up hitting Burning square in the eyes. Burning screamed in pain, stumbling off Super in the process. Taking full advantage of this, Super touched the Yellow Orb, and could feel his energy being restored.
Burning was mad. Not just his usual "I'm pissed that I'm on death row" kind of mad. No, this was his "I'M GOING TO KILL THIS BASTARD EVEN IF I GO INTO MELTDOWN AND TAKE THE PLANET WITH ME!!!!!" kind of mad. Thus, Burning felt not the slightest bit of remorse when he charged up the most powerful Burning Heat Ray yet, and fired. The BHR hit Super in his chest, and he roared before an explosion engulfed the 8-bit Godzilla. Burning, upon hearing silence from the cloud of smoke, was satisfied that he had finally killed his opponent, and walked off.

Angel: Gotcha again!
Tabashi: Yeah we did!
Suddenly, a SUPER all-too-familiar roar caused Burning to turn around in shock. Super was not only alive, but he didn't have a SINGLE scratch on him! You see, before the Burning Heat Ray had hit him, Super stepped on the Green Orb, which made him invincible for a short time. Super, noticing Burning hadn't recovered from his shock yet, decided to charge up his Super Punch. Once that was done, Super blitzed towards Burning, and the Super Punch exploded on contact.
But Super knew full well that the Super Punch wouldn't kill Burning, so he charged up his Navel Blast. By now, Burning had recovered from his shock, but it was too late. The Navel Blast fired from Super's Navel Core, and it hit Burning square in the center of the chest. Burning screamed in pain before the size of the blast enveloped him. Super stood there now, drained of energy, the Green Orb's effects having worn off. He was breathing heavily, but was satisfied with the kill.
K.O.!
Angel: Wait, that's actually the end?
Tabashi: No, estupido. Just wait.
Until Burning blasted a Burning Heat Ray that BLEW RIGHT THROUGH SUPER'S NAVEL CORE, killing him before he could even process the fact that he was dead!!
Results[]
Angel: Holy God damn, that was awesome! But why'd we do all those fake KOs?
Tabashi: Entertainment. Anyways, as powerful as Super Godzilla was, he was completely outclassed by Burning in basically every category except arsenal.
Angel: Yeah, turns out Super has some orbs that can boost his stats a little bit, like the Red Orb, which increases his fighting spirit constantly. An the madder he is, the stronger he gets. Kinda like the strongest one there is....
Tabashi: Or the Green one, which makes him invulnerable for a short time. But all that didn't even matter, because while 5-9.3 Teratons of TNT is impressive, it absolutely PALES in comparison to the 268 Zettatons of TNT needed to fight against Mothra AND Battra at the same time!
Angel: And Burning is stronger than that, because his base form fought those two! Wait, 268 Zettatons, 5-9.3 Teratons… that means that Burning is at least-
Tabashi: Eh, about 28,778,817,204.3-53,528,600,000x more powerful, give or take. But that's the lowest possible outcome.
Angel: Mother Fuck! How was this a good idea!?
Tabashi: In hindsight, it really was a terrible idea. These two were indeed powerful Godzillas, but Super was just far, far too weak to do anything that would actually kill Burning. Or even HURT him, for that matter.
Angel: Well, I guess this battle was SUPER one-sided!
Tabashi: The winner is Burning Godzilla.

Tabashi: Next time on Death Battle!
On a distant planet by the name of the "Land of Light", a familiar-looking spaceship could be seen landing. Some Ultras went and hid in their homes, while some others hid and watched. From the rocket came the Teen, who then enlarged his size to 164 feet (50 meters) tall. The Teen looked around, eyeing the different structures until he found what he was looking for: the Ultra Colosseum. The Teen went inside it, and eventually found just the Ultra he was looking for. The class was scared, but the teacher didn't seem to be.
Teen: Taro, my old friend! How the hell are you?
The teacher was then revealed to be the Ultramate Ultra, Ultraman Taro.
Taro: Pretty well, T! How have you been holding up on Earth?
The two shake hands and do a fistbump, all while the class watches, rather confused at the sight of the Teen.
Taro: Class, I'd like you to meet an old friend of mine. This is the Teen.
The class exchanges handshakes with the Teen, and then the two get down to business.
Taro: Well, I assume you didn't just cause a big ruckus just to say hi to little old me, did you?
Teen: No, I didn't. Remember that time Ultraman fought that Kaiju everyone called the "King of the Monsters"?
Taro: Vaguely. Why, is that Kaiju on the loose again?
Teen: Yup, and in the form he's in, he'll destroy the planet when he goes into meltdown! Think you could help us out?
Taro: Sure, but you're gonna owe me one after this.
Teen: Deal. Just tell your class and we'll get outta here!
Taro: Class, I've got to leave for a little while. Be nice to Ultraman while he substitutes for me, okay?
Class: Sure, Mr. Taro!
Taro: Good. (to the Teen) Now, where's this planet-busting Kaiju?
