Wiz: Throughout the history of literature these two canine combatants have always been debated by their fans on who is the true Top Dog.
Boomstick: Buck , the former house pet turned leader of the pack
Wiz: and White Fang , the half dog half wolf that was tamed by man.
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick
Wiz: and its our job to analysis their weapons, armors, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle
Buck Answers the Call for Death Battle[]
Boomstick: Once upon a time in the sunny hills of California in 1896, there lived a very large dog named Buck.
Wiz: Growing up in the sunny hills of Santa Clara Valley, California, Buck seemed to have everything a dog could ever want. A loving home, a nice family, and always being the top dog of the neighborhood.
Boomstick: Yo ain't kidding, this 140 lbs Saint Bernard & Scotch Shepherd mix was the biggest and most admired dog in his hometown. Always dwarfing all the small and toy breeds of dogs in his neighborhood. However he dreamt there was more to live than just warm grass and belly rubs.
Wiz: But all that change when he was kidnapped by the family gardener, and sold to smugglers to be a sled dog, to pay off a gambling debt. This was during the time of the Klondike Gold Rush, and what people need most during that time were big strong dogs to haul sleds.

Boomstick: Well what can we say, desperate times call for desperate measures. But in his new life, Buck soon realized how cruel and abusive we humans can be. Heck he nearly got beaten to death with a club.
Wiz: Although Buck may have been beaten several times, he was never truly broken. And that life is much more dangerous and harder than any dog could have imagined. One of the main things he learned was that once you went down, that was the end of you.
Boomstick: He learned this after seeing his only dog buddy Curly get ripped apart by a pack of huskies and getting mocked by his new rival Spitz.
Wiz: But Buck swore he would never go down, and from that point on, he began to discover his true potential as a worker and a fighter, and he eventually discovered the true Call of the Wild.
Boomstick: Which in this case means killing an old black bear, scaring off a bunch of wolverines, attacking a bunch of Indians, saying goodbye to only human friend and joining a pack of wolves.
Wiz: But not before being trained on how to be a sled dog from his new owners Francoise and Perrault. Though he had to through trail and error, Buck learned that he was not only good at pulling heavy loads through the snowing landscape, he actually enjoyed it.
Boomstick: Before he knew it, Buck was pulling those mail sleds like a pro dog. He also picked up a few new survival traits from his fellow sled buddies, like how to build snow forts and how steal food from right under his owners noises.
Wiz: Buck is a strong and calculating fighter who only attacks in self-defense and to protect those he has bonded with. He is 140lbs of pure canine muscle, which he received from his Saint Bernard father. His success in pulling sleds and surviving in the wild gave him a proud and unbreakable spirit.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssEYQbdvhOM&t=2s
Boomstick: He's always on the lookout for new challenges for him to face so he can push his limits even further. Heck he pulled a sled weighing a thousand pound in a bet his last master made.
Wiz: Buck developed his own wolfish fighting style which involves a fast, decisive strike and jumping away to evade retribution and counter attacks. But before he fights, he also tries observe his opponents strengths and weaknesses to his advantage. But if he can't, he tries to tire out his foe until they are in a weakened state for him to attack. Usually, just one bite is sufficient enough to cripple his opponents.
Boomstick: He once broke three of the legs of his rival Spitz even in a bloody state while surrounded by hungry sled dogs.
Wiz: Shepherd dogs are know to have a powerful bite and needle sharp teeth that can inflict serious damage. A German Shepherd has a biting pressure of 238 measured bite force. Plus combined with the strength and weight of a Saint Bernard, Buck was true force to reckon with. He also has the thick fur of both breeds, he can handle the harsh winters of his new home.
Boomstick: He's also fast enough to out run an avalanche which is faster than 320 kilometers per hour.
Wiz: He once pulled a sled filled with grain over a hundred yards, which weighed over a thousand, by himself
Boomsitck: Man that is one Badass Dog, I like him.
Wiz: Though he was pushed to the brink of death by his abusive new owner Hal, Mercedes, and Charles. These three stooges had no experience in the outdoors and spent more nights arguing and complaining to actually care for the their dogs. Several of their dogs were starved and worked to death and Buck would have joined them if not for the arrival of John Thorton.
Boomstick: And perfect timing to, since those dummies eventually meet their icy fate. Under John's care, Buck not only made a full recovery physically, but also emotionally. It had been years since Buck had felt actual love and companionship like this before.
Wiz: But deep down, Buck had a feeling a of emptiness and found himself venturing out of John's camp and into the nearby forest, exploring the new landscape and challenging all forms of wildlife and emerging victorious.
Boomstick: After John got murdered by a tribe of Indians, Buck avenged his fallen master and soon realized that he was not only free, but he had killed the most unbeatable beast in his life, MAN. He soon became friends with a wolf and ran off to become leader of his wolf pack and start his own family
Wiz: However, he rarely fights to kill, just to beat his opponents enough to get the message across that he is not to be messed with. He boasts an impressive fight record, with surprisingly few losses.
Boomstick: Buck survived an ambush from a pack of starved and rabid Indian dogs, defeated the ferocious and skilled husky Spitz, killed a blind black bear, brought down a wounded bull moose, slaughtered the hunting party of Indians that killed his last human master, and crippling a group of wolves single pawed.

Wiz: Yes it seems that no matter what life throws at him, Buck will always find a way to take the heat and keep on going.
Narrator: Doing the work of a sled dog brought Buck confidence and joy. Now, he belonged to a pack
Perrault: You're a real sled dog now Buck
White Fang will not be Tamed for Death Battle[]
Wiz: White Fang was born in Yukon, Canada and was the sole survivor of a wise one-eyed male wolf and fearless half dog half wolf mother.
Boomstick: Out of all the pups in her litter, White Fang not only looked like an original wolf, but also had the temper and rage to back it up.
Wiz: After the death of her mate and seeing that she could care for him by herself, White Fang's mom took her only child to the Indian village she was raised at. Over the years, White Fang grew up to be a skilled fighter, beating all the dogs in his new Indian on land
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOS4u4Io_LA
Boomstick: White Fang's life was filled with many hardships, but it never stopped him from rising to the top and following the code of the wild "EAT OR BE EATEN". HMMM say Wiz...
Wiz: Boomstick cut it out.
Boomstick: What, i'm just saying you are looking pretty tasty.
Wiz: Under the care of the Native Americans, White Fang not only learned how to defend himself, but also that he enjoyed racing with the other sled dogs and desired to be one of them. Unfortunately, no many of the other dogs were trilled with the idea of having a wolf among their ranks.
Boomstick: But after whooping their tails to prove his authority, White Fang was soon leading his new packmates across the tough terrain of the Alaskan Wilderness.
Wiz: However, White Fang was eventually sold to a dog fighting ring by his Indian master Grey Beaver, after a man named Beauty Smith tricked him into selling him the dog by getting him hooked onto whisky and wasting all of his money.
Boomstick: Aw Grey Beaver, what some people do for a bottle of whisky. Also Beauty Smith, what kind of stupid name is that anyway, what kind of mom gives her kid a name like that.
Wiz: Since then White Fangs life was lived with endless fighting and cruel treatment from his new owner. Eventually, after several horrific fights, one of which that nearly cost him his life, White Fang was rescued by a kind American named Wedon Scott, who took him back to his cabin to nurse him back to health.
Boomstick: Unfortunately, all those time in the fighting ring had left White Fang untrustworthy of humans, no matter how nice they were to him.
Wiz: But Scott was patience with White Fang and saw that instead of a wild beast, he saw a gentle creature in need of saving. In no time, White Fang befriended the man and became his most loyal companion. He even choose to go live with him and his family in California, the same hometown of Buck.
Boomstick: Well what are the odds.
Wiz: At 110 lbs and being three-quarters wolf, White Fang is the aggressive product of a traumatic puppyhood. He despises other dogs whom he hates or sees as a potential threat and kills them for the sport or it or if his owner tells him to.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaYQefVA-hE
Boomstick: Also he is so strong he capable of pulling a small mine crate filled with rocks and jumping through a sloid window and without being dazzled.
Wiz: He dislikes being laughed by humans and being bullied by other dogs even more. He used to fight and care only for himself, since he believed that the world such a tough place that in end you just have to look out for yourself, but soon found some exceptions beings to care for and protect. If White Fang sees that one of his loved ones are in danger he will do everything in his power to help them.
Boomstick: And for any man or animal who dare threatens the ones close to this wolf-dog, may God have mercy on their souls.
Wiz: You can say that again Boomstick. Being part wolf and part husky, White Fang has a biting pressure of 320 measured bite force. And being part wolf means he can run up to 31 to 37 miles per hour.
Boomstick: White Fang has been fighting since he was puppy, from lynxes to wild Indian dogs, taking one fight after another on a regular basis. He once killed an armed criminal that almost killed him in the process, but eventually he showed everyone the true eternal fighting spirit within him and survived his ordeal.
Wiz: In the fighting ring, White Fang was notorious for his near impressive agility and speed, using these skills to his advantage. Since Wolves are known for their indurance, the will wear their prey down before going in for the kill. He wasted no time in bluffing and immediately went for the kill, mainly the throat, and swiftly leaving his opponent bleeding to death. He was so good, that Smith decided to match him against multiple opponents seemed like a fair fight. He has taken on a 200 lbs mastiff, three street dogs, a vicious lynx that nearly killed him, and other human opponents like Smith himself.
Boomstick: Vengeance is served and it felt great
Wiz: After returning to California, White Fang adjusted quite fell to the new environment, and soon warmed up to the rest of Weedon Scotts's family, including the family collie who used to hate him.
Boosmtick: Even after killing over 50 of his dad's chickens, White Fang once again proved his loyalty when Weedon placed him in the chicken coop and ordered him not to kill the chickens. He was locked in that pen for over an hour and didn't lay a paw on those birds. Now that's true loyalty.
Wi: But White Fang's moment of glory came when he defended his owner's father from a murderous criminal named Jim Hall, who almost killed him before the wolf dog tore him to shreds. Even after the vet gave him a one in a thousand chance of survival, White Fang fought back with all his might and made a full recovery.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jg6-osNxoMg
Boomstick: Just in time to meet his new puppies he had with collie. He's even strong enough to pull a 200 pound long by himself (with some help from another human). The only time he faced defeat was to a Bulldog bred for the sole purpose of countering the attacks White Fang was specialized in.
Wiz: But despite all this, White fang stilled proved that he is a fighter both inside and out and that he is always the dog you would want by you side.
Maggie Scott: Weedon Scott, meet White Fang. White Fang, meet Weedon Scott.
Weedon Scott. White Fang. It was on the flyer. But...how do you know?
Maggie Scott: I found it in your coat. From when they brought you home. It turns out he's the terror of the Yukon, aren't you, boy?
Pre-Death Battle[]
Wiz: All right the combatens are set lets end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fight[]
One night, in the wilderness of Canada, White Fang is outside his owner's cabin standing guard while his owner, Weedon Scott is fast asleep in bed. Not sensing any danger, White Fang slowly begins to settle down for the night. Suddenly, White Fang hears the strange howl of a wolf, but no wolf he has ever heard before and walks in the bushes to investigate. Walking through the forest, White Fang eventually finds the culprit, who is Buck howling on a hill peak to honor his fallen master.
White Fang growls a warning to Buck to leave now, thinking he is a threat to his master. Buck, unwilling to leave or return to his wolf pack, comes down from his hill and faces White Fang, growling right back at him. Both dogs stand their ground and circle each other at the ready, unwilling to back down.
Buck lunges at White Fang, but he uses his speed to dodge the attack and Buck misses. Buck turns around and uses his paw to deliver a glancing blow across White Fang's cheek, his claws leaving three bloody scratches. Buck then headbutts White Fang into a bile of snow. Buck then manages to get White on her back with him on top of the Wolf dog. He tries to go for a bite to the throat, but the Wolf dog continues to scratch and kick his paws wildly, preventing Buck from attacking him even further. White Fang then splashes some snow in Buck's face, temporally blinding the wild dog and allowing him to get back on his feet.
White Fang takes advantage of his distracted enemy and lunges to bite onto Buck's shoulder. Almost simultaneously, Buck’s paw slammed into the side of White Fang’s head, sending him flying to the side. As the wolf dog lies motionless, Buck goes over to sniff at his opponent. But this all turned out to be a trick, and White Fang was only faking it and lunges up to bite down on the wild dog’s shoulder.
Buck growls in pains spins around to use his strength to shake off White Fang. White Fang recovers and then goes for Bucks throat. When he saw White Fang preparing to leap, Buck pulled himself back, and leaped at the same time. The two massive dogs collided in midair, but Buck’s leap has more power since he weighs more than the wolf dog, and he pushes his opponent back into the snow. However, White Fang grabs onto Buck’s ear and pulls his face down to the ground, while he is able to pull himself up. He grabs the wild dog’s neck, and began to squeeze, hoping to break the neck of the interloper. To his surprise, all he grabs is a mouthful of fur, and Buck gets to his feet and begins kick like a horse before he shakes off the wolf dog.
The Two dogs then begin circling each other, barking and growling at each other, waiting for one to make the first move. White Fang attempts to charge at Buck, but it’s only a mock charge to frighten the wild dog into thinking he was going to attack. He does this several times as he circles Buck, but the last one is for real as he lunges for his enemies throat.
But Buck is ready as well rears up on his hind legs legs causing White Fang to miss his throat but he still is able rear up on his hind legs and engage in a brawl with the wild dog. The two dogs begin to slug at each other like boxers. Using both their paws, the two dogs start pawing at each other, but neither can land a blow to inflict serious damage. Buck then uses his additional weight to push White Fang to the ground and begin to wrestle in the snow.
The two dogs start to roll around in the snow, snarling and barking at each other. Buck pushes with his hind legs, knocking the wolf dog off him and then jumps onto the down White Fang’s back. He bites into the back of the wolf dog’s neck with all his strength, but due to the shear strength of the wolf dog’s muscular neck, it only bleeds up doesn’t break.
Despite being in pain, White Fang rolls under the wild dog, painfully breaking his lock on his neck. He slides under his feet and gets back up to deliver a powerful blow, which knocks the wild dog back. As White Fang licks his wounded neck, Buck gets back up and rushes at his opponent. Buck bites onto White Fang's ear and pulls on it hard, causing White Fang to push him away and back to a stand still.
He pulls off a chunk of White Fang's ear, which only enrages the wolf-dog. White the starts to run around the MUCH bigger dog, barking and nipping at different parts of his body. Buck tries to bite at the wolf dog, but White Fang is much faster than him and dodges the attack and taking a small bite on the leg of the wild dog. Though Buck tries to jump away and bite from a different angle, White Fang is able to use his speed and agility to outmaneuver the much larger enemy until he is bleeding and begins to slow down.
Seeing and opening, White Fang lungs at the tired out Buck, knocking him on his back and goes for his throat, but Buck gets to his feet upright and is able to hold White Fang at bay. While Buck is standing up, White Fang dives for his lower legs and nips them slightly. While this does makes Buck fall down, he ends up landing on White Fang, flattening him. As the wolf dog struggles to free himself under the massive dog's weight, he is too heavy to move on his own. Buck then jumps off White Fang, but not before grabbing him by the neck, tossing him into the air, and slamming him to the snowy ground, knocking him unconscious.
As White Fang regains consciousness, he gets to his feet, he sees Buck sitting a few feet away, waiting patiently for his opponent to wake up and continues the fight. He lunges as Buck, but Buck Stands his ground as the wolf dog rams into him, causing them both to get up on their hind legs and wrestle with each other. As the dance around in the snow, the wild dog headbutts White fang, while the wolf dog tries to wrap his teeth around Buck throat. Buck uses his paws to push him off before it's too late and shove him into the snow. Buck then charges at him and headbutts White Fang again, knocking him into a tree and causing the snow to fall on him.
Thinking the battle is over, Buck turns and starts to walk away, only to turn around when he hears a noise, as see White Fang dig his way out of the snow, his eyes glaring at him in rage. Fearful, Buck then runs into the forest to get to a better spot for fighting, and White Fang chases after him. The two dogs run through the forest, leaping over logs and fallen branches and through snowy bushes at top speed until Buck gets to a cliff near a frozen river.
As Buck looks over the cliff to see if his wolf pack is near him, White Fang catches up to him and hides in the bushes to prevent Buck from seeing him. When the wild dog turns his head away, White Fang slowly begins to creep up behind him, slowly inching closer and not making heavy move movements in the snow. When the wolf dog is close enough, he lunges at Buck and bites his tail.
Buck howls in pain before turns around and bites his shoulder, forcing the wolf dog to let go and step backwards out of striking range. As his tail drips with blood, Buck growls at White Fang and inches closer to him warning him to stay away. Unfazed and unwilling to back down, White Fang makes another attempt to bite Buck's throat, but Buck anticipated this and dodges his attack by jumping to the side and chomps down onto White Fang's front leg.
White Fang howls in pain and then uses his free paw to strike at Buck's face repeatedly before biting him on the neck. Buck lets go and two dogs begin to circle each other again growling and panting. While Buck stops and barks viciously at the wolf dog, White Fang sees an opening for Bucks throat and charges at him. Buck tries to dodge it, but White Fang is too fats for him and tackles him to the ground and goes for his throat. However, thanks to Buck's long fur, it protects him from White Fang's bite. Using his front paws, Buck is able to push White Fang off of him and get back on his feet.
The Two dogs circle each other growling and painting with exhaustion. Buck lets out a loud howl to alert his packmates to his location. Off in the far distance, the wolves hear their leaders howl and they run to investigate. White Fang lets out a howl of his own to alert his master back the cabin. The lights in the cabin turn on and the master comes out with a rifle and lantern and follows the bloody trail to their location.
Knowing that his opponent also called for reinforcements, Buck resume the fight and goes for White Fang's front right leg again and bites down hard. White Fang howls in pain and goes for Buck's shoulder, chomping down with force. The two dogs struggle to stay balanced and push their adversary back, but both struggle to stand while they continue to bite at their opponent.
Using all his remaining strength, Buck bites down hard and is able to break White Fang's leg before he is forced to back off. Although limping, White Fang doesn't give up, growling at the wild dog, showing that he is not going down without at fight. Buck makes another dive for his oppenent's left leg, but White Fang is ready and jumps out of the way and uses his other leg to whack Buck in the face. This cause Buck to tumble and fall down next to the edge of the cliff.
White Fang uses all of his remaining strength to get back on his feet and charges for Buck's neck, knocking him to the ground, and bites down hard. Although dazed, Buck is able to get to his feet and throw White Fang off him. As he lands om the ground with a thump, White weakly gets to his feet after having the wind knocked out of him. As he turns around, he sees Buck barreling straight at him. He tries to limp away, but the wild dog is too fast and goes for White Fang's left back leg and breaks it.
White Fang tries to stand on his two remaining legs, but can't find his balance. Seeing his opportunity, Buck steps back a few feet before he uses his remaining strength charge with all his might and headbutts White Fang in the chest. The force of the charge sends in the lame wolf dog tumbling off the cliff, hitting several rocks as he fall before crashing down on the bottom, killing him.
Buck walks to the edge of the cliff to confirm that the wolf dog is dead. Satisfied, the wild dog howls in victory and limbs off to rejoin his pack, right when the master arrived to see the snow covered in blood and the Ghost Dog gone.
Results[]
BoomStick: OH boy, something tells me PETA going to have a few words with us
Wiz: Anyway, both dogs we pretty equaily matched when it came to strength,
Boomstick: and White Fang may have beat Buck in the speed factor, but only one of them had a harder fighting history.
Wiz: The Biggest foes white fang ever fought was a 200 Mastiff and an almost 200 pound human serial killer, while Buck has faced a bear, moose, and multiple humans, taking them all down with both brains and brawn.
Boomstick: Not only that, Buck was way more smarter than white fang. Although white fang's signature throat attack almost always did the trick, a calculated fighter like Buck could figured that out and found a way around it.
Wiz: Although white fang had fought more larger opponents in his life, he rarely ever changed his fighting style, unlike Buck, who learned from his fighter used his experience to his advantage.
Boomstick: Look's like White Fang could not answer the Call of the Wild
Wiz: The Winner is Buck
