Bowser Jr. VS Sage is a collab battle between the users Duragoji123 and Thebeeghungry.

Description[]

Mario VS Sonic! The two beloved children of two egotistical emperors cross paths today! Who will win this playdate of doom?

Interlude[]

Triangle: Bowser.

Featherine: Eggman.

Dura: These two are the pinnacles of villains in video games. Countless plans hatched to conquer the world - nay - the universe, kidnapping princesses, and beefing with someone they really have no business fighting; there hasn't been a time where they've succeeded yet.

Monke: However they've never, and I mean NEVER given up the good- er, bad fight. And that's in no small part thanks to their most adored minions, their children. .....Hey wait wouldn't they literally just be child soldie-

Triangle: Like Bowser Junior, the prince of the Koopas.

Featherine: And Sage, the ultimate Cyberspace artificial intelligence.

Image - 2024-11-11T184918

Featherine: I'm Lady Aurora.

Dura: Dura here.

Triangle: Tri is Triangle.

Monke: And I'm Monke! It's our job to see who would win a DEATH BATTLE!

Is Bowser Jr. the ultimate nepo-baby? (Beeg)[]

Bowser Junior Preview

(Cue - New Super Mario Bros. Wii Music - Airship)

Triangle: Picture something in your head, a magical kingdom full of mushroom people is ruled by a non-mushroom women, who constantly gets kidnapped by a big dragon turtle and his army of brown mushrooms and less draconic turtles, only to be rescued by an Italian plumber and his cowardly brother. You got all that?

Monke: Yeah... sounds... weird.

Triangle: Well that's the world of Super Mario! It's a... strange land, to say the least. With so many different races and cultures, all equally out-there, but hey, that's fantasy for ya.

Monke: But one of those races stands above the rest: The Koopa Troop! This is a kingdom of outcasts who have nowhere else to go, ruled by King Koopa, otherwise known as Bowser!

Triangle: But Bowser isn't the only one in control of this empire, every throne needs an heir, after all. And the throne of King Koopa is no different. But who could this child be, you may ask? Well, say hello to Prince Koopa, Bowser Jr.!

Monke: Wow, real creative with the naming there. Granted, Bowser's probably too busy with kidnapping Princess Peach and getting his ass kicked by Mario to really worry about names.

Bowser Jr.'s background[]

  • Full Name: Bowser Junior.
  • Height/Weight: Unknown
  • Likes: Art, his dad, robots, drumsticks.
  • Dislikes: Mario, Luigi, F.L.U.D.D, losing.

(Cue - Enter Bowser Jr.!)

Triangle: However, just because Junior is younger than Bowser doesn't mean he's a pushover, far from it! HIs old man has taught him in the ways of dark magic, which Jr. has used to pull off a ton of different things!

Monke: Such as shrinking you with his own roar, creating a barrier to protect himself from any status ailments, slicing a foe's health in half, and more!

Triangle: But the real meat of the prince's trickery comes in the form of his Junior Clown Car, a flying machine fitted with boxing gloves, Bob-Ombs, a submarine mode, a torpedo launcher, a giant arm, a kart mode, and there's even a giant version with massive claw arms that Jr. can plug the original into!

Monke: There is no way he's legally allowed to drive that. I mean, he's about a teenager, maybe. Anywho, questionably legal flying machines aren't the only thing Jr. likes driving, he's piloted a decent amount of mechs in the past!

Triangle: Such as the mighty Megahammer, a ginormous robot fitted with giant hammers and Bullet Bill launchers. Or Mecha-Bowser, a robotic version of his father fitted with Bullet Bill launchers (Again) and a giant flamethrower. Or perhaps you'd be interested in his own personal airship? While not exactly a mech, this can fire both cannonballs and fireballs, along with having an escape mode if things go wrong. We also offer Megaleg, a giant spider-like robot powered by a grand star, this bad boy has it's own gravitational pull, and also has... bullet bill launchers AGAIN.

Monke: But we can't mention Jr's mechs without going over the Boomsday Machine! This is an insane tower-tank with a giant turret, huge treads, an electric cockpit, a vacuum function, and giant firebars. All of this for three easy payments of 7.99!

Triangle: But we can't discuss Jr's tech and not mention the magic paintbrush! Possibly stolen from Professor E. Gadd, this special brush can create goop that acts like acid (With electric and burning versions), graffiti that can work like portals, and even entire living organisms made of the goop! Such as Petey Piranha, Proto-Piranhas, Gooper Blooper, the Phantamanta, and more! Heck, Jr. can even create shadow clones and turn himself into a clone of Mario with the stuff! Of course, the main weakness of this goop and his Shadow Mario form is water, which brings into question why he decided to use it... in Isle Delfino, a TROPICAL island.

Monke: But watch out for the black version of the goop, that stuff is wild! It can negate invincibility, seal away powerful objects, and corrupt beings into mindless, furious versions of their old selves, seen with... dear old dad, of all people!

Triangle: But what about that time Jr. and Bowser took a nice trip to the Flower Kingdom... where they attempted to take control of the universe via music. Y'know, typical father and son bonding stuff. However, while here Jr. got special Wonder abilities, which can provide a multitude of different effects!

Monke: Transmutation, summoning, inverting gravity, swapping the location of air and water, and even, as shown with Bowser, fusing with objects! Pretty much anything that would be considered "weird", Jr can make happen.

Triangle: Now, Jr has a LOT more. But we want to actually finish this analysis so... yeah. I do want to add one more notable thing though, and that is the various bosses Jr. commands! Such as Gobblegut, a giant dragon-like creature, or King Kaliente, a giant octopus creature. And let's not ignore the fleet of airships that Jr also has at his command!

Jr's Arsenal and abilities[]

  • Dark Magic
  • Junior Clown Car
  • Mechabowser
  • Megaleg
  • Megahammer
  • Airship
  • Boomsday Machine
  • Magic Paintbrush
  • Goop
  • Shadow Mario
  • Wonder Jr.
  • Airship Fleet
  • Mario Galaxy bosses

(Cue - Bowser Jr's Mad!)

Monke: Of course, no dark prince of fire would be complete without feats to back his power up! And boy, does Jr. have feats.

Triangle: Starting out, Jr. has consistently survived massive explosions, such as the flagship of Bowser's fleet crashing, or being blasted into the cosmos after one of his mechs fail.

Monke: Furthermore, he's also survived having the snot beaten out of him by good ol' Red and Green Stache, and he even has managed to stalemate his father across hundreds of battles!

Triangle: Keep in mind, those are the same Mario, Luigi, and Bowser who punted castles, survived universe-ending supernovas and black holes, a similar universe-destroying void, traveled across the universe in seconds, and the Mario and Luigi in question even defeated Dreamy Bowser, who was powered by thousands of dreams, and dreams in the Mario multiverse are universes!

Monke: The little man's also pretty smart for his age. Being able to hack complex tech, and he seemingly built all of his mechs by himself, and he even managed to lead entire armies well enough to match his old man!

Bowser Jr's feats[]

  • Survived massive explosions
  • Has fought with Mario and Luigi multiple times
  • Stalemated Bowser
  • Developed huge mechs
  • Got one of the best written arcs in the Mario series

Triangle: Many of you may well know the quote "With great power, comes great responsibility."... But Jr. clearly didn't! For the longest time, he was nothing more than an immature and spoiled brat. But then, something changed.

Monke: You see, after going on an adventure that resulted in most of the Koopalings abandoning Jr. due to his immaturity, he had a moment of reflection, assisted by Kamek. And eventually, he realized what it truly meant to be a leader, to put your life at risk for your subjects, and Jr. began to follow this habit, leading the Koopa Troop across the Mushroom Kingdom in various battles, and earning back the trust of the Koopalings.

Triangle: After all of these adventures and battles, I think it's safe to say that Jr. is a worthy heir to the Koopa Throne, and will... likely continue to fail to kidnap Princesses, just like his dad. But hey, isn't that the legacy he'd want?

"Good and evil are old, simplistic terms! Everything is relative! Is it wrong for me to try to help my dad take over the Mushroom Kingdom!?"

Can Sage avenge her father? (Dura)[]

Sage Preview

(Cue E.G.G.M.A.N.)

Featherine: Doctor Ivo Robotnik - that is a name that needs no introduction.

Dura: Guy's been a mainstay in fiction for a long time now, you all know the story. Mad scientist builds a robot army to conquer the world for his dream of attention, and subjects countless animals to cruel, horrible fates. Perhaps you would know him as the one and only Eggman.

(Cue I'm With You)

Featherine: However, for this child of man, nothing ever seemed to work. A certain blue hedgehog always came in to save the day, and though Robotnik at times nearly succeeded, he would always be bested by the blue blur, Sonic the Hedgehog.

Dura: But one day, he hatched a plan that would be practically guaranteed to work. Recently, the good doctor had stumbled across the Starfall Islands and discovered the existence of a mysterious alien race that used to populate the islands: the Ancients. More specifically, he took an interest in their bizarre technology, so he quickly got to work to construct an artificial intelligence. Y'know, like he didn't have enough of that already.

Featherine: Hardly, for you see, none of Ivo's current mechanical contraptions could truly grasp the might of the Ancient's. This new AI would have to be revolutionary, powerful, and extremely knowledgeable. It would have to be nothing less than... a Sage.

Background[]

  • Name: Sage
  • Age: Unknown
  • Admires Sonic's friendships
  • Eggman's daughter
  • Family: Eggman, Orbot, Cubot, Metal Sonic
  • Likes: Eggman, Sonic's care for his friends, serving her father, making Eggman proud
  • Dislikes: When her father is placed in danger

Dura: And surprise surprise, Eggman decided to name the AI exactly that.

(Cue Rejection)

Featherine: Befitting her role, Sage is incredibly calculating and intelligent. Her 'brain' is a supercomputer which can run millions of calculations in short timeframes, planning out any scenario a battle can take incredibly quickly. Ivo also made her with experience of his countless previous loses against Sonic in mind, as he gave her access to his entire previous history with the blue blur. With those two abilities paired together, it's no wonder why the doctor thought so highly of her.

Abilities[]

  • Flight
  • Telekinesis
  • Extreme intelligence
  • Energy Manipulation
  • Abstract Existence
  • Sealing/BFR
  • Data Manipulation
  • Teleportation
  • Possession/Hacking
  • Reality Warping
  • Summoning (of the Titans)
  • Control over the Egg Fleet

Dura: But perhaps my favorite of her powers is how she can float around and levitate like a ghooooooooosssttt!~ Well, she isn't exactly a ghost, she's just a digital program, but-

Featherine: Sonic does call her a "ghost girl", yes. Not only that, but she can pass through any physical object and teleport around.

Dura: And although she's not necessarily a combat program, one of her prime directives was to protect Egghead at all cost. So, if she ever needs to throw down, Sage definitely has the power to do so.

Featherine: Whether that be pointing forward and firing huge energy blasts or lifting and throwing objects with telekinesis, this artificial child of man has shown she can dish out as much pain as I go through on the daily cleaning after one of Bern and Lambda's playdates. Ufufu...

(Cue Gun Culture)

Dura: But her main purpose was, of course, to hack into and control the technology of the Ancients. Gotta say, that's quite the feat since these water alien creatures who appear identical to a certain enemy from the series could create giant robots to defend their land, and even create portals to an entire alternate digital universe!

Featherine: This "Cyberspace" was a realm created by the Ancients, used to store all of their memories, dreams, and history. It is completely abstract, with the contents held within only existing as thoughtforms, and as if to further back-up its abstract nature, Cyberspace is even referred to as a "Digital Dream".

Dura: And our AI ghost girl sure did hack into it alright... but at a cost. Y'see, Sage's entire conscious, if you could call it that, was irreparably changed when she entered Cyberspace - in a way, fusing with it. Her code was altered and her abilities were heightened, but in return her personality shifted from the obedient AI Eggman had constructed her as. I hate to say it, but Sage had become one of the most terrifying creatures imaginable... a teenager.

(Cue Ferro Ignique)

Featherine: More importantly, she detected the presence of an ancient entity that served as the pure concept of death: a being very aptly named "The End". And in a rather cruel sense of irony, Sage decided that the only way to protect her creator from The End's inevitable return would be to seal him within Cyberspace, which she promptly did.

Dura: Woah woah woah, so... if Eggman can just build technology that can seal others into alternate dimensions, why didn't he do this from the start and just... trap Sonic somewhere he could never escape from?

Featherine: Ego and pride, Dura, ego and pride... and in any case, it was likely a power Sage gathered from fusing with Cyberspace.

Dura: Yeah, so, turns out that enhancing her already existing powers and giving her the mentality of a teen wasn't ALL that the fancy robo-universe did for her. Not only can she trap foes in digital bodies in other universes, but essentially, her control of technology extends to Cyberspace itself. She can freely move between it and the real world, essentially warp reality, and is even aware of everything stored in Cyberspace.

Featherine: She can trap others in Cyber Cages, which will slowly drain their sense of self and memories the longer they remain inside through a process called Cyber Corruption. At worst, symptoms can even include hallucinations and the heightening of negative emotions.

(Cue Break Through It All)

Dura: But when her creator's stupidly persistent rival arrived to the islands, Sage knew she had to bring out the big guns. So, remember those giant ass robots that the Ancients had built to defend themselves? Well, they're actually called Titans and were made to hold back The End, and the AI lady can just call them out of Cyberspace willy-nilly! Granted she does need to influence their minds in order to get them to attack Sonic, but the results are well worth it!

Featherine: There's Giganto, the standard hand-to-hand fighter, though it also is able to shoot energy lasers. Then there's Wyvern, which can fly and... also shoot energy.

Dura: Then there's Knight, which is by far one of the coolest ones. It even comes equipped with a sword that it can contract and expand at will, and a shield which can be thrown like a boomerang!

Featherine: However, with the undefeatable power of Super Sonic and his own determination to save his friends, Sonic managed to break through it all and find his flame. Sage... took notice of this, seeing how Sonic put everything on the line for the friends he cared so much for. No, they weren't really friends, they were more like... a family.

(Cue I'm Here)

Dura: The kind of relationship that Sage desperately, desperately wanted to have with her creator- no, her father. Gone was the simple AI program meant to hack ancient tech and be just another means to an end for Eggman, in its place was a real being. A person with real emotions, real feelings, and a desire to have a family.

Featherine: And for Robotnik, Sage had started to rub off on him too, even entrusting the entire Eggman Empire's machinery to her control. For the first time, Eggman had something that he was afraid to lose... and perhaps its even more tragic that even this moment of humanity was also deprived from him.

Dura: The End had escaped, and things were bleak. Though Sonic had freed his friends, it was unlikely that even their combined might with Super Sonic would be able to stop the giant fuck-off planet's power. That is, until Sage offered herself up to stop it, piloting the final totally-not-Evangelion-inspired Titan - Supreme - in order to put an end to things once and for all.

Feats[]

  • Successfully infiltrated Cyberspace
  • Achieved control over the Titans
  • Blocked a barrage of attacks from The End
  • While part of Supreme, she was able to fight against and damage The End
  • Won over Eggman's heart

Featherine: With wings of pure energy and a massive railgun, the Sage-piloted Supreme took to the skies alongside Super Sonic, and together they fought against what would be the strongest enemy Sonic had ever come across - above even the likes of Infinite, Metal Sonic, Chaos, Dark Gaia, even ancient god-like destroyers such as Solaris and Time Eater.

Dura: And having a title like that is no easy feat, as Sonic has fought numerous universe-threatening foes over his history. Hell, the previously mentioned Solaris and Time Eater were going to devour time, space, and reality across the entire MULTIVERSE, which contains many universes comprised of dreams.

Featherine: Super Sonic himself was capable of flying across universal distances in a matter of seconds, but even with all that power it was still nearly impossible to defeat The End.

(Cue Dear Father)

Dura: Luckily, Sonic did the thing he does best; go so fast that reality itself can't even comprehend him, defying all odds and plunging right into the enemy! But even though the primordial god was defeated, it wouldn't be forgotten so easily, so it began self-destruction, planning on taking the planet with it.

Featherine: But, with one last look back to the small blue dot which housed Sonic and his friends, her brothers and sisters, and her father, Sage sacrificed herself by blocking the explosion.

Dura: With one last request for Sonic to look after her father, the AI who learned to love was gone in an instant...

Featherine: ...Though, things would not be all doom and gloom. Eggman gained a newfound appreciation for one of his machines, one which he typically shared with no one else, and even the face of a dark god looming over the horizon wouldn't be enough to keep him from bringing back his daughter for long.

Sage: Please... look after... father.
