The two super time travelers of DC and Dragon Ball face off in a no holds barred battle to the absolute death. Yeah, there is definitely gonna be a flame war in the comment section. But I don’t care.
Pre-Episode []
Me: *walks into the studio*
Rouge: So, did we get the job?
Me: Yep! Wow, didn’t think you would make it.
Slade: Nice. Where are Prince and Sentinel?
Me: Uhh, they’re taking a break. Anyway, here is your script. *throws them the script* The battle is Booster Gold vs Trunks Briefs so be careful not to make Back To The Future Jokes.
Slade: Really? Why Not?
Me: If you pass, then you get to keep the job.
Rouge: *sighs as I leave* Fine.
Starting Segment[]
Rouge: Time Traveling is a delicate process, with a price to pay if you f**k it up. You have to make sure you don’t mess up the Universe or something else that might cause you to be born. But these two chrono warriors know what to do with Time Travel.
Slade: Like Booster Gold, DC’s Greatest Hero you’ve probably heard of because of the official Death Battle.
Rouge:And Trunks Brief, son of Prince Vegeta and Bulma Breifs, and the Time Traveling Super Saiyan!
Slade: She’s Rouge and I’m Slade. It’s our job to analyze their strength, weaknesses, and feats to see who would win a Death Battle!
Booster Gold: The Greatest Hero You’ve Never Heard Of[]
Rouge: Born in the 25th Century, Micheal Jon Carter was your almost stereotypical chad, playing football, rocking good looks and betting on his own games to save his mother. Oh, well that’s more of a Jacques from Super move, well except the saving his mother, that guy is an asshole.
Slade: Yeah, this guy soon found out that his mom had a disease that would kill her if she didn’t get the right surgery. So Micheal Chad Carter did what he had to do, bet on his own game so he could get enough money to save dear old mom. Actually, that’s sweet, he’s not a Chad anymore.
Rouge: Yeah, it was sweet until he was caught and arrested. After his sentence, he got a job as a janitor at a museum for 20th Century Items. And these items were pieces of technology that could make the traps of Vietnam look like simple play toys compared to them.
Slade: So Micheal did what any sane man would do. He stole that shit and dipped. An insane man would have left them. Anyway, they turned out to be amazingly real and one of them was even a time machine.
Rouge: *tries intensely not to make a BTTF joke* So he went back in time and started making profit from things he already knew was going to happen and even made his own company called Goldstar! That sounds a little bit cooler than Booster Gold, and would have been his name if the ears of a boomer didn’t troll Micheal and make an old man mishear him.
Slade: Anyway, Micheal stole some pretty useful tech like the Power Suit. This dorky suit enhances his physical capabilities to a Superhuman Level and even has something in it called Time Travel Circuitry.
Rouge: This allows him to travel through timelines with the click of a button. He also has his force field belt which allows him to make near unbreakable force fields, gauntlets that fire energy bolts and also zap the life out of anyone close to him, a ring that allows flight, and a visor that does all your scanning stuff.
Slade: Back to that insane force field belt, he can give it to others to protect them, or crush them into oblivion. Yeah, this guy is dumb op.
Rouge: Like seriously, this force field even survived a blast that could destroy Earth at a subatomic level. Yeah, I don’t know how Trunks is gonna get this guy.
Slade: Just wait till his analysis. Anyway, Booster Gold does have his weaknesses. He is a huge showboat, like how him and best bro, Blue Beetle, who will be in a future episode, invited a bunch of hot wamen onto a living island using Justice League funds.
Rouge: But when it’s necessary, he will destroy any enemy that threatens the Earth, even manages to fight alongside the Justice League and the head honchos of this super team.
Booster Gold: I am Booster Gold! The Greatest Hero You’ve Never Heard Of!
Trunks Briefs: Dragon Ball's Hero of Time[]
Rouge: The Saiyans are a race of extra-terrestrial humanoid beings who strive for battle and you’ve heard this story before. But have you ever seen what happens when one lays back, breeds with a human? You get Trunks, the saddest Dragon Ball Character of all times.
Slade: Trunks is the son of Prince Vegeta of the Saiyans and Bulma, one of the baddest bitches of Dragon Ball, along with 18 and Chi-Chi. Even though he is a hybrid, he is a badass.
Rouge: When Trunks was born, he had a good life, for like, 2 years until plot basically face-f**ked his entire timeline. He grew up against the Gohan we wished we had aka Future Gohan and something happened when he was 14. Gohan wanted him to stay back as he went to fight the androids and knocked him out, but he still got deaded.
Gohan: This isn’t where my story ends!
*shows Gohan being blasted*
Trunks (Narrating): Unfortunately, that was where his story ended.
Slade: He turned into a Super Saiyan! This is where his hair spikes up and turns blond, and he gains a 50x increase to his physical attributes.
Rouge: And it is the most memed thing in Dragon Ball alongside Yamcha. I bet I can go Super Saiyan.
Slade: No, you really can’t.
Rouge: *starts powering up* AAAAAAAAAAH! *items in the room start levitating*
Slade: *hits Rouge with a can full of Red Bull* STOP! None of that! Shame on you!
Rouge: F**k! Fine! Anyway, alongside this crazy transformation, he can fly and manipulate ki, which is an op ass form of energy. This allows him to use his awesome ki techniques such as Burning Attack, which is an explosive Ki Ball, God Breaker, which is counter move.
Slade: Buster Cannon, a two handed energy blast, Masenko, another two handed energy blast, Heat Dome Attack, an upwards energy beam, Solar Flare, a blinding attack, Shining Sword Attack, a sword attack, Final Flash, an energy beam he learned from his father, Galick Gun, another energy beam he learned from his father, and finally, the Evil Containment Wave, a technique which seals enemies in a container. He can also use Sensu Beans, basically a small bean that heals almost any wound.
Rouge: All these attacks are cool, but his forms are even cooler. He has unlocked Super Saiyan 2 and 3, which are basically steps above Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Rage, which is basically Super Saiyan Steroids, and finally, his ultimate form, Super Saiyan God.
Slade: Super Saiyan God is when a Saiyan gains God Ki and enters this form. This gives him an insane power boost. And this dude has done a lot of crazy shit with this power. He was able to completely incinerate First Form Cell who was stronger then Frieza, who could destroy planets with a finger, survive 1 year with Vegeta, and even destroyed the Androids, who were also stronger than Frieza.
Rouge: He even defeated the Immortal Zamasu-
Camera Man: Actually, he didn’t defeat him, Zeno di-
Me: *comes in and smacks the Camera Man with a fish* Continue. *walks out*
Slade: In conclusion, Trunks is a badass Saiyan Swordsman who’s timeline was screwed twice, so he went back in time. His journey is crazy, sad, and tear jerking, but that is the price to pay for badassness.
Trunks: "Goku isn't the only Super Saiyan... There's another one right here!"
Battle For The History Books[]
At Goldstar Company,‘’’Micheal Jon Carter’’’ sat in his chair in his office which is golden for some reason. Micheal was on the phone with his best bud, Blue Beetle. “So, you’re telling me that she punched you through a mountain?” Micheal asked mid-laugh. “Yeah, Wonder Woman does not play!” Suddenly, in a blue flash, a weird looking device appeared in Micheal’s Office. “Hey, I’ll call you back.” Micheal hung up and got up as a purple-haired swordsmen stepped out. This was ‘’’Trunks Briefs’’’.
"Are you Booster Gold?" Trunks asked Micheal with a stern and semi-angry face which kind of intimidated Micheal. "Woah, Woah, dude, calm down. How did you get past security?" Micheal asked. "Do you have any type of idea what damage you're doing to the timeline?" Trunks lectured Micheal.
"I'm not damaging the timeline bu-" Micheal couldn't finish the sentence before being kicked out of through the window behind him. As he was falling, Micheal sighs as he presses a button on his bracelet, equipping his suit. Trunks jumped out of the window and shot down like a meteor as he and Booster Gold clashed fists.
FIGHT!
Booster Gold sped behind Trunks and kicked him in his back, sending Trunks flying to the ground, but Trunks recoiled and threw his sword at Booster Gold, who quickly dodged and charged towards Trunks, who Z-Vanished to dodge Booster Gold's punch. He grabbed his sword and then charged at Booster Gold, unleashing a volley of stabs which sends Booster Gold flying backwards from the last strike.
Booster Gold recoils mid-air as he fires a barrage of Booster Shots. Trunks shoots a barrage of Ki Blasts that clashes with the Booster Shots. Trunks Z-Vanishes behind Booster Gold and hits him with a Shining Slash, sending him flying to the ground. Trunks puts his hands back, charging a ki blast, but Booster Golds proceeds to Stop Time. Booster Gold flies up to Trunks and said, "Alright, Lilaclocks, let's see how far you fly!" Booster Gold hits the frozen Trunks with a barrage of punches, hitting Trunks in the face about 88 times before Time unfreezes and Trunks is sent flying into the air like a meteor.
Booster Gold flew after him before kicking him into a skyscraper, knocking the entire thing down. Booster Gold smirks until he sees a golden glow. He then is punched in the face by a Super Saiyan Trunks. This sends him flying as Trunks flies after him and keeps punching him in the face, similar to Superman's Super Move in Injustice 2. Trunks then finishes this combo with a downwards slash.
Booster Gold is then sent crashing into a sand mountain as Trunks realizes he punched Booster Gold all the way to the desert. Booster Gold coughs a bit before saying, "Okay, guess I'm calling in the big guns. He activates his force field as he says, "HAHA, you can't touch this!"
Trunks charges at Booster Gold and began slashing at him, but doing nothing. Booster Gold grabbed Trunks by the head and slammed him into the ground. Trunks turned Super Saiyan 2 in a burst of energy as he shot a Burning Attack in Booster Gold's directing. It hits Booster Gold and causes an explosion which creates a city sized crater. Booster Gold is seen chuckling to himself in the smoke.
Trunks growls and launches a thin Masenko at Booster Gold, who cockily blocks with the arm his gauntlet his on. The gauntlet starts spouting electricity. "Oh no, what have you do-" Booster Gold yells as he and Trunks are sent through time.
Age 749-Start of Dragon Ball
A 12 year old Goku is seen carrying his giant log, whistling his song, doing his thing. When suddenly, Trunks and Booster gold appear out of nowhere in the sky. Trunks swings his sword at Booster Gold barely dodges his strikes. Trunks then starts punching Booster Gold, who was blocking.
The 100x increase that Trunks has gained was putting a strain on Booster Gold, so the 400x boost when Trunks went Super Saiyan 3 was putting a harder strain on Booster Gold. Eventually, Booster Gold was sent flying into a pterodactyl, instantly killing it and making the blue-haired girl it was carrying fall. Goku was too distracted from the fight and Trunks was scared for his existence. "No!" He yells as he flies down and catches Bulma. He quickly puts her down and flies back up at Booster Gold.
He launches another punch, which lands on his gauntlet, sending them through time again. This time they land somewhere different.
1958-Superman's Landing
They appear out of nowhere, this time on the ground as they continue clashing. Trunks jumps back and fires a Galick Gun at Booster Gold, who quickly dodges. Booster Gold then punched Trunks hard in the gut, sending him flying towards a small space ship, knocking it into another course, towards Gotham City.
"Oh, Supes ain't gonna like that one." Booster Gold said before he was punched once more by Trunks. Booster Gold then punched at Trunks once more before the gauntlet begins spouting out more electricity. In unison, the two heroes say, "Fuuuu-" before they vanish into nowhere once more.
Sometime in the 25th's Century-Booster Gold's Origin
Booster Gold punched Trunks, sending him flying. Trunks then landed in a museum, next to past Micheal Jon Carter. "What the hell?" Past Micheal says before Trunks gets up and looks at the Booster Gauntlets Micheal was just about to steal them. He then proceeds to lift his sword up, taunting to slash them as Booster Gold lands.
"Don't you dare." Booster Gold says.
"I'll do it." Trunks says.
"Don't you dare!" Booster Gold demands.
"I'll do it!" Trunks yells.
"DON'T YOU DARE!" Booster Gold yells.
"I'LL DO IT!" Trunks yells as he begins to bring his sword down, but thinking quickly, Booster Gold put two mini force-fields over his past gauntlets, breaking them. "It's time to finish this!" Booster yells as Trunks says, "I agree." he closes his eyes as he gains a firey aura and his hair goes back to normal, but red.
"Oh my god, what is up with this K-Pop Background Singer?" Booster Gold says before getting punched so hard he is launched into the air. "Alright, that's it. I'll just go back in time and erase you as a bab-" Trunks comes flying at Booster Gold with his Sword of Hope and slashes the gauntlet, breaking it completely. "No!" Booster Gold yells as Trunks grabs Booster Gold's suit rips it, breaking that as well.
"Without your technology-" Trunks says before going higher up to the air and holding his sword up, "You're nothing!" Trunks brings his sword down as Booster Gold says, "Guess this is the end of my story." Trunks slashes Booster Gold in two pieces as the animation ends.
The Victor's Reasoning[]
Rouge: Wow, that was very, very brutal. There is a good reasoning though.
Slade: While, yes, Booster Gold had the advantage in defense, Trunks had the advantage in literally everything else. His natural strength being a Saiyan, and his other strength from training.
Rouge: And as Trunks said at the end of the battle, Booster Gold is nothing without his technology and Trunk's powers are all natural.
Slade: And with all that tutoring from Future Gohan aka the smartest saiyan, he could probably find out Booster Gold's weakness in a pinch.
Rouge: And there is probably gonna be someone in the comments saying that Booster Gold could have put Trunks in his force-field. And yes, he could, but Trunks is way too fast for Booster Gold to get him.
Slade: Once Trunks caught a gigantic energy ball from Frieza, which Frieza blew up, but Trunks quickly sped up to a mountain and shot a Burning Attack at Frieza.
Rouge: And Super Saiyan 3 and God only make it harder to get Trunks, so with an edge in strength, speed, agility, and stamina, the victor is Trunks Briefs.
