Two of the best bounty hunters come together to find out which one is truly the better, will Boba Fett claim this bounty, or will Erron Black plant a bullet in his foe's brain? Find out in this Death Battle!

Intro[]

Skunk: There are many sayings for many things, one such as, "All that glitters is not gold"

Skel: Yeah, but gold isn't worth a damn to these two unless it comes in a large quantity, and they are the best, so that's what they deserve.

Skunk: Boba Fett, The Best Galactic Bounty Hunter from Star Wars.

Skel: And Erron Black, Cowboy Gunslinger from Mortal Kombat. He's Skunk and I'm Skel.

Skunk: And it's our job to research their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win, a Death Battle!

Boba Fett Claims His Bounty In Death Battle![]

Skunk: A long time ago, in a ga-

Skel: Please, stop doing that every time we have a Star Wars character, can we just get to the story, his arsenal, feats and flaws, and move on?

Skunk: Ok, fine. The Galaxy is wide, expansive, and full of varied people, especially true when you look for them in Star Wars.

Skel: We got normal people, alien people, creepy people, Samuel Jackson too!

Skunk: But there have been few who can claim to be the best hunters around, that title goes to one man, and his name is Boba Fett.

Boba Fett is shown in multiple shots, firing his blaster, using his wrist flamethrower, etc.

Skel: This badass bounty hunter is son of Jango Fett, if the last name wasn't obvious enough.

Skunk: After his fathers, uh, sudden, death, young Boba had to take on the legacy, and become the best hunter the galaxy would ever see.

Skel: And boy did he do it, he hunted the best, but what would a hunter be without his weapons and gear?

Skunk: His arsenal is large, varied and certainly nothing to scoff at, he is packed full of explosives ranged from thermal detonators to sonic bombs, as well as many missiles he can use from his wrist gauntlet, jet-pack, and even his knees.

Skel: Yeah, he is basically the living version of a multi-tool, he has a jet-pack to fly, several explosives, multiple blasters, and his armour is a big help against many things.

Skunk: His helmet comes with 360 degree vision, ensuring nobody sneaks up on Boba Fett, along with thermal vision to track anyone with a heat signature, as well as a targeting system to ensure he will hit his targets.

Skel: But even if he misses and has to get up close, he is no slouch when it comes to hand-to-hand combat, especially with things like his Gaderffii Stick he made himself, and he can even take out a light saber to deal with really troubling foes.

Skunk: Boba Fett's armour is tough, being made from one of the strongest material in the galaxy, and being able to take lightsaber hits to it directly, tank other thermal detonators at near-point blank range, and even not be destroyed by electricity that can vaporize people.

Skel: But we know what you are thinking, "You gotta be real badass and skilled to be able to use all this stuff" And you are right, so it's a good job Boba Fett has the skills and experience to use it all!

Boba Fett's Feats[]

Skunk: Boba Fett has done incredible things, one of the most notable being how he has hunted jedi for so long, and gotten so many, these are jedi we are talking about, force users, they could throw people around like rag-dolls, and Boba Fett has killed a lot of them, even taking their sabers.

Skel: Isn't that General Grievous who takes the sabers?

Skunk: Yeah, but Boba also likes to take something from his dead foes, you know, as extra.

Skel: Well he has been able to hit people from miles away with just his blaster, and he can take shots directly to his chest and shrug it off, just getting more pissed off.

Skunk: His armour, weapons and physical capabilities are impressive, but he still does suffer some weaknesses.

Boba Fett's Flaws[]

Skel: While he does have a lot of weaponry, some of it will run out, you can't carry around endless thermal detonators and missiles.

Skunk: And with his jet-pack comes the risk of it breaking, sending Boba flying around aimlessly, and don't forget he is still a mortal man underneath that armour.

Skel: Yeah, but we can't forget how he also is the most badass mortal man underneath that armour too. Boba Fett will not let his prey go, he won't let them live, he will not give up until he gets his bounty, so you'd best hope that his next bounty isn't your head.

Erron Black Won't Miss This Reward In Death Battle![]

Skunk: Mortal Kombat is a tournament, one that the Elder Gods had made to stop the merging of realms, but allow for a chance.

Skel: It is pretty much this thing that you need to put the best fighters against the best fighters, and whoever wins 10 times in a row, they merge the other's realm.

Skunk: Outworld had won several, 9 times, and had one win left.

Skel: God this will take forever to talk about... Let's skip over and get to the main part, Kahn died because he broke the rules, and a new ruler, Kotal Kahn, took charge.

Skunk: And with this new ruler came new helpers, or servants, whatever they were called, they helped Kotal, taking Mileena from the throne.

Skel: And the new minions were D'Vorah, Fera Torr, Ermac, and the one we are looking at today, Erron Black, the best hunter Outworld has ever had.

Skunk: Funnily enough, Erron isn't from Outworld, he is from earth, but he liked it so much in Outworld, he opted to stay.

Skel: He stayed and took any bounties he was told of, big, small, medium, smart, dumb, strong, you name them, Erron hunted them.

Skunk: His loyalty is only matched by his greed, well, honestly, that is how you get his loyalty, money.

Skel: He doesn't really take sides, he only "takes the side" of the person paying more.

Skunk: And with money and gold on the line, he will use anything in his arsenal to get it, and he has plenty of weaponry and skills to use.

Skel: He carries his twin revolvers, which allow for plenty of range, as well as being able to rapid fire them.

Skunk: He has a rifle on his back that can be used to shoot or hit his foes with, and he isn't just a sharp shooter, he has plenty of things to throw at his foes, including dynamite, acid jars and sand grenades.

Skel: Some of those are more dangerous than they sound really, they can make people fly up several meters in the air, allowing for Erron to combo more hits.

Skunk: He can set up a trap to catch his foes by the feet, set caltrops to hurt their feet, and use a tarkatan arm to stab them, causing major damage when pierced through the flesh.

Skel: But you wanna know what he is really good at? Making his bullets ricochet off surfaces, even coins he tosses in the air! He can toss a coin and shoot it so precisely, he can make it bounce at his enemies.

Skunk: His skill isn't the only thing that makes him a danger, for a cowboy, he is much tougher than you'd think.

Skel: While he is human, he can face people with super human abilities, he was able to beat Kung Jin, almost killing him, as well as Cassie Cage too.

Skunk: His shooting is so precise, he can hit a humming bird at 50 yards, and shoot a vulture out of the sky with one shot too, not to mention his ability to perfectly fire his guns off at the right times, and not shoot himself.

Skel: He has supposedly beaten the likes of Kobra and Kira, and mentioned he beat Kollector's Brother, but we don't know how strong he was, so, yeah.

Skunk: But something not many can boast about is how he survived against Raiden electrocuting him, and he didn't exactly intend to just knock Erron out, he went full blown mad against Erron, but Erron still got up.

Skel: He takes beatings, he can dish them out, he can even predict what he can't see, but in the end, he is still Erron Black, he ain't immortal.

Erron Black's Flaws[]

Still a human

Skunk: Like all humans, he is still a mortal man, and will still fall if he is hurt enough.

Skel: He isn't exactly without loss, he has been beat by Johnny Cage, the movie star with an ego the size of Erron's bank account.

Skunk: But his most clear disadvantage is how he prefers to be far away, and his lack of close range combat, meaning if he can't stay far away from a foe, he won't stand much of a chance.

Skel: But he is a man with nothing to lose, so even at close range, he won't back down from a fight, he'll fight to the end.

Erron: Hard to kill a man with nothing to lose.

Intermission[]

Skunk: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Skel: It's time for a Death Battle!!!

Fight[]

Location: Cantina

The cantina is shown with many people, chatting and eating. Erron walks in through the doors, and walks over to the counter.

Erron: That time portal did me no good, where the hell am I?

Erron sees Boba Fett sitting at one of the tables, and walks over to him.

Erron: Hey, you, where the hell am I?

Boba Fett looks over at Erron, and groans in disgust at what Erron is wearing.

Boba Fett: Somewhere you probably shouldn't be, you ain't fit to be around here.

Erron: I'm the best damn bounty hunter there is, I'm no slouch.

Boba Fett proceeds to get up, and walk towards Erron, stopping inches from his face.

Boba Fett: You're an insult to bounty hunters everywhere, I'm better than the best.

Erron: Wanna put your money where your mouth is and prove that?

Boba Fett: Fine.

A click is heard, and Boba Fett looks down to see Erron holding his revolver to Fett's chin.

Erron: Draw...

Fight!

Erron fires his revolver, but Boba Fett is able to punch the gun away from his chin right before it is shot, and the bullet hits the ceiling. Boba Fett then kicks Erron back over the counter, and takes out his E-11 Blaster. Erron is shown crawling beneath the counter, and grabbing random items, including small metal bits. Boba walks forward slowly, aiming his weapon, then sees various bits come up. He slightly lowers his weapon, then Erron comes up, and shoots Boba Fett in the chest, but the bullets do little harm. Boba Fett fires his blaster, as Erron runs to the side. Erron jumps over the counter, and rolls behind a table. Boba Fett cools down his blaster.

Boba Fett: Nice trick mate, you wanna play dirty? I can play dirty too.

Erron is shown reloading, and then spinning his revolver barrel. Erron flips a coin into the air, and shoots it. The bullet bounces off the coin, and hits Boba Fett on his hand, making him briefly let go of his blaster's trigger. Erron vaults over the table, and fires at Boba Fett, who uses his gauntlets to block the bullets. Erron runs up and kicks Boba in the chest, sending him to hit the wall. Boba Fett grunts, then gets up. He looks around the room, everyone else has left, leaving only himself and Erron in there. Boba Fett uses his thermal vision to look around the room, searching for any sign of Erron. Boba Fett hears a click, and then a gun shot. He sees the bullet coming from behind, and shoots it with his blaster. Boba Fett then sees Erron behind a table, and fires his blaster at it, shredding the table. Erron lights some TNT, and tosses it. Boba Fett rolls backwards to evade it, and his cape gets set on fire. He puts the cape out, and looks around. Erron peaks over the table, and sees a small missile coming his way. He ducks, and the missile hits another table, causing bits to spread.

Erron: Jesus, the hell was that?

Boba Fett aims his blaster, slowly walking towards the table Erron is behind. Erron sees Boba Fett's reflection in some spilt water, and sees his revolver has 1 bullet left. He takes a deep breath, and fires it up. The bullet bounces off a light, and down the barrel of Boba Fett's blaster. Several clicks and cracks are heard, and then the blaster explodes, leaving just the handle. Boba Fett looks at it for a moment, then tosses the broken blaster away. Looking around, Boba Fett grabs one of the tables, and tosses it. Erron peeks over the table, and gets hit by the incoming one, sending him through the cantina walls, into the streets. Boba Fett comes out the hole, and looks around. Erron comes from the side and smashes a jar of acid into Boba Fett's visor, staggering him. Erron slams his rifle against Boba Fett's chest, and an x-ray shows Boba Fett's ribs get cracked from the impact. Erron then swings his rifle like a baseball bat, and makes Boba stumble onto the street.

Erron: Not so tough without your gun, huh?

Boba Fett: I don't need my guns to beat you.

Erron lifts both his revolvers up, and aims. Suddenly, Boba Fett shoots his fibercord wire, and it wraps around one of Erron's guns. Boba Fett pulls it towards himself, and catches it. Erron shoots, but Boba Fett is able to shoot the bullets directly, making them clash into the air. They both then click, indicating they are empty. Erron then slams his rifle in Boba Fett's face, and down on the back of his head, stunning him. Erron suddenly stabs Boba Fett with his tarkatan arm blade, and snaps the blade off, leaving it in Boba's chest. Erron takes the gun off the ground, and reloads both.

Boba Fett then fires his flamethrower at Erron, hitting him in the face. Erron screams, and then gets punched in the face, an x-ray shows Erron's skull fracture from the hit. Boba Fett catches Erron by his hand before he falls down, and pulls him up. Boba Fett headbutts Erron as he comes back, and finally kicks his chest, making Erron stumble backwards.

Boba Fett: Nice try, I'm just better.

Erron gets up, and puts his hand behind his back. Boba Fett fires a concussion missile, but Erron throws a sand grenade at it, both of the projectiles exploding. The blast was too close though, and Erron's hearing is messed up, causing loud ringing. Erron covers his ears, and after he recovers, Boba Fett is gone. Erron hears a crunch, and swings his rifle behind himself, hitting Boba's helmet, and making him fly backwards. Erron fires his rifle a few times, but Boba Fett uses his wrist blasters to destroy the bullets.

Erron: The hell, do you ever run out of ammo?

Boba Fett, ignoring Erron's question, then fires his anti-vehicle missile from his jet-pack. Erron rolls backwards, but is caught in the blast, and gets sent flying into a pile of metal boxes. Dust covers the area, and Boba Fett turns on his thermal vision. He looks around, and sees Erron in the dust. Boba Fett flies up, and rams at Erron, who quickly throws a neatherbeast trap up, catching Boba Fett by the head. Boba Fett struggles to take the trap off of himself. Erron reloads, and puts his foot on Boba Fett's chest, aiming his gun at Boba. Boba Fett gets the trap off, then realizes his situation.

Boba Fett: Aren't you going to do it?

Erron: Every man deserves a last word, what's yours?

Boba Fett shakes his head, and suddenly takes his lightsaber out, and slashes Erron's revolvers, making them no longer work. Boba Fett swings it at Erron, but it is evaded. Erron takes out his rifle. Both of them grip their weapons tightly. Boba Fett uses his jet-pack to fly up. Erron fires a shot, but it goes past Boba Fett. Erron quickly shoots another bullet, which bounces off the bullet he shot previously, and hits Boba Fett's jet-pack, causing it to malfunction, and make Boba Fett fly into a vehicle, as it also explodes.

Erron: All is well that ends well.

Erron starts to walk off, until he hears a yell, and turns to see Boba Fett lunge forward. Erron moves to the side, and slams his rifle's butt into Boba Fett's face, but this doesn't cause much damage. Boba Fett swings the saber, slicing up the rifle. Boba Fett kicks Erron in the gut, and then punches his throat. An x-ray shows Erron's neck bone gets shattered. Boba Fett then tosses a thermal detonator down, and jumps backwards. Erron sees it and runs too, but the timer was too fast, and Erron is caught in the blast. Erron groans and gets up. He takes his hat off, which is torn and ripped, and tosses it away. Boba Fett walks through the flames surrounding them.

Erron: Come at me, I'm ready.

Boba Fett runs and brings his saber up for a hit, but Erron throws an acid bottle at Boba Fett's hand, causing both his hand and the saber's hilt to burn. Boba Fett drops the saber, and falls down to his knees. Erron stomps on the saber hilt, smashing it. Erron then lifts Boba Fett by his neck.

Erron: Well, you fought well, but I guess I was the better hunter.

Boba Fett bends his knee, and suddenly, a rocket fires from it, hitting Erron directly in the groin, causing him to scream in pain, let go of Boba, and fall down. Boba Fett then rips Erron's mask off, and takes out a thermal detonator. Boba Fett shoves the thermal detonator into Erron's mouth, and walks away. The thermal detonator explodes, and Erron's body parts fall from the sky, burning and in bits. Boba Fett is shown with a bag of coins Erron kept, having taken it before he finished Erron off.

K.O!

Conclusion[]

Skel: Ouch, I don't know how it'd feel, but I bet it'd sting hard if my balls were blown off by a rocket, if I had balls.

Skunk: With their massive arsenals and expert skills, both Fett and Black were a good match, countering each other's arsenals, but that could only go on so long until one ran out, and Boba Fett had way more tricks and weapons to use.

Skel: A lot of Erron's equipment wouldn't do much to Fett, as his armour basically blocked any damage that could be caused.

Skunk: Boba Fett's armour has been stated to be acid resistant, making Erron's acid jars less of a threat, and the armour has taken blows from sabers wielded by jedi and sith, far stronger than bullets, so Erron had little means to cause harm to Fett.

Skel: However, Erron was more experienced, and typically could calculate how to properly hit his targets, but that wasn't meaning much when Fett could keep pace with force users who had light speed reactions, a speed Erron hasn't gone against before, meaning it'd be hard to land a hit on Boba Fett, especially a precise hit to an open part of his armour.

Skunk: The main difference here was the weapons and equipment used, to put it plainly, nothing Erron had could cause much damage to Boba Fett, if he could hit him at all, while Erron lacked any body armour to stop Fett's weapons like his blaster and saber, which are able to cut metal and people up like they are using a hot sword to cut through paper.

Skel: Boba's helmet gave better field awareness, so Erron couldn't sneak up on him, and while Erron could have possibly overpowered Fett, he'd have to get closed, and by close, we mean within lightsaber range.

Skunk: While one of the best, Erron Black was unable to stand up to Boba Fett's speed, equipment, and Beskar plated armour, leaving the victor clear, cut, and easy to figure out.

Skel: This loss must blow for Erron, he just didn't have the balls to pull off a win.

Skunk: The winner is Boba Fett!
