History[]
A Private Eye and skilled marital artist, Marlene "Mary" Ryan had once worked in the Secret Service. While they were protecting the President, her ex, Butch and her father were killed. In memory of her ex, Mary has kept his jacket and drank cocktails he liked, more particularly, the "Blue Mary", which she adopted as a codename during her work as a PI, but drank the cocktail when she's on leave from work.
When she was hired to find the mysterious Jin Scrolls, she ran into Terry Bogard. With his help, they began solving the mystery of the scrolls, befriending the Legendary Hungry Wolf in the process, though she would later date him. Upon finding the scrolls' relations to the Jin brothers, she confronted her employers about withholding the information from her.
