Description[]
DC Comics vs Marvel Comics! The blood and rage in the swirling hearts of these female furies will stain the stars with crimson blood! Will the girl of gamma be burned by fate, or will Red Lantern's rage be made tame?
Introduction[]
Boomstick: Bleez, DC's former Havanian princess turned Red Lantern.
Wiz: And Red She-Hulk, Marvel's red reverse of the She-Hulk.
Boomstick: Proverbs 21:19 proclaims, 'It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.'
Wiz: Since when did you start reading the Bible, let alone...reading?
Boomstick: The Bible? I thought this was an autobiography of King James but he never showed up in the book! This is why I judge books by their cover. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!
Wiz: And its our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win, a DEATH BATTLE!
Bleez[]
Wiz: Among the vast space sectors in the DC Universe, there exist its Lantern Corps'. Each color representing a primary and fundamental emotion that all of life itself shares, giving the universe quite literally feeling itself, via the Emotional and/or Electromagnetic Spectrum.
Boomstick: White and Black are Life and Death. Green represents willpower. Orange represents greed. Yellow embodies fear. Blue represents hope. Indigo, compassion, and Violet is love. But at the top of the rainbow is the emotion of rage and hatred itself, the Red Lantern Corps...if dying to a Ganondorf forward-A in Smash Bros was a Lantern Corps, it would definitely be this one.
Wiz: The Red Lantern Corps may seem mindless and almost simple in idea, but what brought each member to their rage is what sets them apart individually, showing that the rage comes from a place of vengeance in their heart from say, a traumatic event in their life. And by far one of the more tragic examples is a Red Lantern simply known, as Bleez.
Boomstick: When will people learn that being in royalty puts a big red target on your back? Bleez was the crowned and kinda dickish princess of Havania, but her people became captive to the Sinestro Corps during the Sinestro Corps War, held prisoner in a...sentient city called Ranx. Still not as ridiculous as a Green Lantern sentient math equation though.
Wiz: The Havanian prisoners were brutally tortured for pleasure and amusement, until Bleez managed to escape before Ranx would later be destroyed in the Battle of Mogo. The sheer amount of torture and abuse she would endure filled her with a sense of rage; of unfairness, of something she didn't deserve, a pain that she felt no one could come to realize or understand, except for one singular ring, flying towards her at speeds faster than light.
Boomstick: The Red Lantern ring detected the rage in Bleez' heart, and Beyonce'd itself onto her finger, making her into a Red Lantern, inducting her into the Red Lantern Corps as its newest recruit.
Wiz: With wings reduced to bones and a newly matter constructed costume, Bleez was no longer a princess, as she became one of the deadliest Red Lanterns to bump fists with across the space sectors of prime earth.
Boomstick: And for good reason too. Lantern rings are some of the most powerful items in the universe, so powerful that Metron, the New God of Intelligence, claimed these rings could allow travel through the Source Wall, something the mightiest of Gods have failed to do so!
Wiz: You see, Lantern rings control fundamental aspects of the universe and its nature. As mentioned before, the Electromagnetic Spectrum comes into play here, as Lantern rings have shown manipulation of light, energy, gravity, and even radiation. Through use of energy, it can generate energy constructs, ones made of hardened light that is only limited by the imagination of the user itself, ranging from weapons to full on mechs even, the potential is limitless. It can also use this energy to fire concussive blasts or in Bleez's case, of rage and anger.
Boomstick: It can also channel force-fields to protect the user from impervious damage, allow interstellar travel, and in some instances, allow travel through wormholes to get to other places!
Wiz: But Bleez is a Red Lantern, meaning those abilities are only scratching the surface of what a crimson dawn can look like for any unfortunate victim.
Boomstick: Energy blasts are overrated to a Red Lantern! These guys are packing rage plasma, their main burning source of damage up close, which has been described as a mix of napalm and acid, strong enough to melt the faces of other Lanterns or even just burn entire holes through space itself to get somewhere!
Wiz: Its shown the capacity to even burn through stronger beings like the New God Relic, who by that point had already been elevated to a deified status, and the burning effect has shown capable of igniting the blood and rage in someone's heart, and even burning through energy auras altogether, including that of Lanterns.
Boomstick: And given rage is their main source of power, it would make sense that they have the ability to absorb the rage of others to boost their statistics. The more rage you absorb, the stronger you get, might need an economist's degree to stand in front of you to start pumpin' the juice for that one.
Wiz: The Red Lantern Corps' terrifying leader Atrocitus has also shown that the napalm blood in nature is magic, being able to summon tornadoes of blood, create entire portals of napalm blood, or spell out prophecies of future events such as the Flashpoint Paradox for instance.
Boomstick: And Red Lanterns have been using these abilities for the sole purpose of discovering new abilities! Like the innate ability to consume the blood of another Red Lantern in order to absorb some of their abilities, which is clearly just the writers trying to bullshit their way into making more abilities to move the plot forward.
Wiz: The rage in a Red Lantern can be used precisely enough to even affect the mind in a few ways. With rage telepathy, Bleez can discern the motivating factor behind a rage-filled individual, or more skillfully read minds altogether with or without rage.
Boomstick: But if Bleez is feeling really dark and twisted, she can just take control of their mind altogether with rage mind control, making someone a slave to the Red Lantern light if they're pissed off enough, something Bleez has shown the capability of replicating due to fighting back against Atrocitus' attempts to tap into the rage of the entire Earth!
Wiz: And lastly, she can produce illusions, though the scope of this is unknown, but we do know she can project her Red Lantern identity if she chooses to conceal it or not.
Boomstick: All you need to do is be a sissy little bitch and you should probably be able to resist it hard enough though. Doesn't mean she won't try though, and if worst comes to worst, she can always bonk you on the head with her Red Lantern Power Battery, which charges her ring, which runs on a charging function if her power gets too low, but given she has the battery on her at all times, or can just...grab it through spaAaaaAaAce, it doesn't really matter.
Wiz: Ultimately it is also up to Bleez to decide what she does with that rage, and how uncontrollable or unchecked she would leave it. And across her many adventures with the Red Lanterns, those who have met it aren't walking away with a face on.
Boomstick: Bleez has made her way through the many wars of the Lantern Corps because God knows they can't stop fighting over the dumbest shit! She's broken out of constructs from even the strongest Lanterns like Guy Gardner, shrug off attacks from Green Lantern Drill Sergeant Kilowog or just punted the shit out of rookie Lanterns like Jessica Cruz or Simon Baz, she even killed a Sinestro Corps member just by becoming a Red Lantern!
Wiz: Or when she fought and broke constructs from Fatality, a Green Lantern hunter who detonated the Black Lantern planet of Xanashi alongside other Lanterns, she's even faced non Lantern characters like Blue Beetle before, who also possesses weapons capable of destroying Earth.
Boomstick: And fighting Lanterns means you must pretty damn fast too! And Bleez has fought four of them, and the Green Lantern Corps in typical space cop fashion have to traverse planets of sin city across the entire universe to get to the scene.
Wiz: The entire Green Lantern Corps made it to the Source Wall from Sector 0 in under a few minutes, and even in earlier appearances they showed the ability to cross the universe in ranges from 10 hours to even two hours. Hal Jordan and Guy Gardner for instance crossed the universe at a cruising speed, which is charting all 3600 sectors in the universe, and if 100 trillion light-years per 10 hours is the timeframe given, then even at a cruising speed Lanterns can travel 87.6 quadrillion times faster than light.
Boomstick: And the DC Universe has been measured as an infinite space-time continuum before! And any time it is in danger, Bleez has sometimes set aside her lust for vengeance to aid in some of the biggest crisis' in DC history, like the Blackest Knight, when Nekron zombified some of DC's heaviest hitters to bring death and darkness to the universe.
Wiz: But unfortunately for Bleez, she's had to come face to face with her own rage many times, as have many Red Lanterns, as those 'rookie' Lanterns she once encountered showed her what she was like without the rage, and she nearly took her own life as a result, regretful of her callous and cold nature before being attacked and reminded why not just the ring chose her, but why she chose the ring; because vengeance to her red eyes and Red Lantern heart, was a lonely but universal endeavor.
